We had an incredible experience for our tour of machu picchu.. our guide Julio was fabulous from meeting us at train station to guiding us on our tour.. he was very knowledgeable about the history of Machu Picchu.. our day was spectacular.. .. hughly recommend !!

I found Freddy through a website to book tours that would also include a Machu Picchu ticket, as I stupidly waited too long to book those tickets for access to the citadel and was worried about securing them before our rapidly approaching trip. When I spoke with Freddy about my worries of getting tickets to Machu Picchu, he inquired about our travel plans and assured me that I didn’t need his help to just get access to Machu, and to just call him if we wanted a tour. Freddy voluntarily turning down the expensive package I had already booked (out of desperation) made it clear he truly just wanted to help us and wasn’t trying to pressure us into booking with him. I could tell he was a good dude. Long story short, he was the first and only person I called for a tour once we secured tickets to Machu Picchu, because I had very much appreciated his candid honesty and courtesy. We met Freddy at the entry to Machu Picchu for our tour, and we were given an expertly guided experience of Machu Picchu. He was on time and ready to go as soon as we were able to enter. For people who speak very poor spanish, it was very helpful to have Freddy with us who fluently spoke english. He gave us a very intimate and special tour of the citadel that we will never forget! He gave us tons of insight into the history, and culture of the space, while also talking broadly about life and he really made the abstract past tangible for us. Thank you, Freddy! We’re already talking about coming to Cusco to have Inca Soul show us even more amazing Peruvian and Incan history and culture!

Fredy was a very knowledgeable guide. He made booking very easy, including being very available for WhatsApp calls to answer questions during booking and recommending how to structure the day to make the most of the trip. On the day of the trip, he made it very simple, from picking us up at our hotel to the train, and he made a great recommendation for a lunch spot in Aguas Caliente. During the tour itself, I liked that he was very clear about things that are known about the sites vs. speculation. His English was outstanding so we were able to ask all our questions and he could respond clearly. It’s hard to imagine a better experience. I highly recommend booking this tour!

Not sure words alone will ever convey the absolute amazing experience we had with Freddy of Inka Soul. From the minute we landed in cusco to the moment we left 4 days later, Freddy curated an experience for me and my family that defied expectation. Truly a trip of a lifetime! We saw cusco, pisac, machu picchu, a wildlife rehab facility that had condors, and all the camelids. Our toiring van was very comfortable and luxurious. Freddy ended our tour with a unique glamping experience on the side of a lake with the beautiful mountains in view with local food and fruits. You will not regret this tour with a local guide who gives of himself to make your trip extraordinary.

Our experience with Inca Soul and Freddie (pre-planning) and our guide Guido in Machu Picchu was absolutely incredible! I just did a private tour to Machu Picchu with guide Freddy and driver Allan, and honestly it was the best tour I’ve ever been on. Freddy is super friendly and is a fountain of knowledge which made the whole experience unforgettable with his insights into history and Inca culture. He had an answer for every question I threw at him. Allan was also a great driver, super punctual and calm the entire way. What a valuable, superb experience we had! Fredy was a positive, knowledgable guide and we learned so much about the Inca culture and the time between the 1100s and 1200s when the ruins were a solid, thriving community. We chose a custom tour where we walked part of the Inca trail. It was so great to be able to hear the birds (Fredy knew all their names), see the air ferns just growing on anything, parrots, and waterfalls! This particular tour was supposed to be easy to moderate, but I think easy to Peruvians is moderate to Americans. You need to be able to walk uphill for 4-6 miles, and climb at least 800 steps (not together), I don't know how many there are on the trail, but lots of stone steps! Fredy was so kind and patient. He was the perfect guide for our family! He knew exactly what pace we needed to go and was so knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him!

Fredy was a great guide for our tour up to the top of Rainbow Mountain. He and the driver picked us up early so we could beat the crowds. I mentioned that we likely wouldn’t be hungry for breakfast so early in the morning so he and the driver skipped the stop (and their breakfast) so we could get there quicker. Fredy was very good with my kids. He helped negotiate horses to help them up the trail, encouraged them when they were feeling tired during the final hike and was ready to give them oxygen to help them feel better (which they didn’t need to use thankfully). Fredy knew great spots for pictures and took all we needed. I would recommend Fredy for any tours out of Cusco.

Fredy was the most excellent and patient guide, showing us his love of his culture, history and his country to us. The highlight was def the salt mines at Maras for me.

Paul was an amazing guide. He told us all of the history and he is from Inka heritage. The views are amazing and the engineering feats are incredible. Getting tickets for your tour and your bus can be confusing, ut the company helped us out. Highly recommend.

Our experience with Inca Soul and the tour guide for our trip to Machu Picchu was fantastic. This agency organized for us 4 days in Peru between Machu Picchu, Cuzco and other the sacred Valley. Everything was perfectly organized, from the transfers to every tour guide that was extremely nice and prepared. We really suggest to rely on them for an amazing trip!

My experience to Machupicchu was amazing ; however, it was not only the beauty of the tour but the great guide. I do not recommend doing Machu Pichu w/o a highly rated guide. I found one; Freddy from Inca Soul and he did not disappoint. He made our group feel in control in a foreign land that could be hectic for first time visitors. My girlfriend and I booked a tour of Machu Picchu with Inca Soul and were blown away by the knowledge of our tour guide, Freddy. Freddy gave us an amazing tour (in English) which felt like time travel back to when Machu Picchu was discovered, Incan society structure, values, and way of life. He also shared about the Incan pilgrimages to Machu Picchu and what the holy citadel means to him. An awesome tour that was catered to our interests and one we will remember fondly!

We recently scheduled a private guide to Machu Picchu through Inca Soul. Elistan was our guide for this trip. He met us promptly at 8am for our 9am entrance ticket to circuit 2. Elistan was friendly and very knowledgeable about all things Machu Picchu. He took his time with us exploring, giving us a history lesson and also made time for plenty of photo opportunities. He has more than 15 years experience as a guide and this was evident. He comes highly recommended and we would use this company and him in the future. The communication was excellent both with the company and Elistan (spoke English).

i had a great experience with Inca Soul tours to see Machu Picchu, it was really nice to have a one on one experience navigating everything from getting the entry ticket to the bus ticket to just navigating the hoards of tourists. my guide was very informative and friendly and even had some books with him to show me some of the animals that live in this part of the forest and show me pictures of Machu Picchu when it was first discovered, so cool! I would very much recommend Inca Soul to anyone looking for a relaxing but informative experience when exploring the wonders of the Sacred Valley.

We just got back from an incredible experience with Freddy in Peru. He took the time to find out what our interests were and tailored the three days to what we were looking to see and experience. From the communication prior to the trip and during the entire trip Freddy was very communicative. Freddy met us at the airport at 7am in Cusco and our trip began. Ventured through many great local sites, food and experiences. Freddy took us to the train ensured we were all set to get to Aquas Calientes. The next morning he arrived and met us and accompanied us to the bus to Machu Picchu. The site was incredible and Freddy knew all the great locations for pictures and speaking to the history of the site. The next day he met us for another day of the Sacred Valley tour with an incredible meal catered by their chef next to the lake. It was some of the best food we have ever had before. During the trip we had great conversations and learned so much about the culture and history of the region. Freddy even went a step further with great customer service, he knew I was a firefighter and on our last day set up a tour for a fire station in Cusco with a friend of his, a unexpected surprise to an incredible trip. Fredy was a fantastic tour guide and I would recommend him to anyone who travels to Peru. He looked after all members of our group (aged 32-76) and he anticipated our needs very well-he brought extra waters and snacks and he even lent his vest to my mom who got really chilly at one point. He took us to a great breakfast and lunch restaurant and was super knowledgeable about Peru. About the Rainbow Mountain hike-you can rent a horse if you need to or just one way. It’s definitely a challenging hike but Fredy made sure we drank water and took breaks and he got some fantastic pictures of us. He was the best tour guide we had in Peru!

We had an amazing time with Inca soul! Fredy was our tour guide. We asked if we could go to the smaller palccoyo rainbow mountain because it’s an easier hike and we also ask to stop at Mirador Cielo Punku which is a hand statue on the way from Cusco to rainbow mountain. Fredy easily accommodated our request for a few extra dollars. His English was amazing and he gave us so much useful information and picked the perfect lunch spot with the best food and drinks we have had in peru so far. He also took all our photos! Everything about this day tour was PERFECT! We highly recommend Inca Soul!

Our tour Fredy was really excellent. He showed us all the sights of Cuzco and machupicchu. He spoke in both English and Spanish. He was very patient with us as we had to take our time up the climbs. But it was worth it cause of the views. Also he took photos of us so didn’t need a selfie stick. Would highly recommend his tour.

Fredy was awesome and made our trip! We booked only one day prior and everything went great. Everything was perfectly arranged, we were one of the first tourists to the mountain and were able to take excellent photos.
