Machu Picchu Tour Full Day By Vistadome Observatory Train

I went with my boyfriend, and we had an amazing experience with our tour guide Isao. He was very friendly from our pickup point, to our drop off. We were shown the town before our tour started, and he made sure that we knew great places to go. During our tour, he was very detail oriented with the history of Machu Pichu, and answered any questions we had. He also helped us take pictures and told us know the best places to take them. After our tour, he helped us pre order food, so that we could sit down and eat as soon as we arrived to a restaurant he recommended. Overall, I would highly suggest this tour, and going through the experience with Isao.

From start to finish this experience was great. Everything was on time as they scheduled. Our tour guide Isao made the tour even better with his knowledge on the Incan culture. He even took us to one of his favorite places to eat and preordered it so we can get to our train on time. Isao was a 10/10 guide and would recommend him to anyone and he is also a great photographer

Helpful from the very first moment we got in contact. Spoke on WhatsApp and sent a payment link and everything was organised. Prior to the trip communication was really clear and easy. Travel and all legs of the journey was well organised and really easy to follow. Isao our guide was amazing, knew everything about the site and took the best photo’s. We booked our Machu Picchu tour with Peru hikers a few months before our trip. They communicated everything we needed to know on watsapp and were very informative. The day of the tour our transportation and guide were incredible. Isao, the tour guide was so knowledgeable and great to learn from. He took great pictures of us and was very friendly. It was a great experience. Our tour guide Isao at Matchu Pitchu was knowledgeable and patient. You did not feel rushed ever an he answered every question. Our driver who picked us up at the hotel and train was lovely as well. It is a long way to go and exhausting but still worth it.

This is an excellent tour. There is a lot of transportation involved but it is clearly communicated and there are people there to help if needed. Our tour guide Isao was exceptional for the Machu Picchu portion of the day. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. It was a long day but the experience was wonderful. Machu Picchu is one of those places that pictures never do justice. Our tour guide did a wonderful job of answering out many questions but not importantly he geared our pace that was suitable for our 70 year average age.

Peru Hikers were exceptional from precooking to drop off to hotel after tour. Danny answered all questions before we booked and continued throughout. Our hotel pickup was on time and the Vistadome train provided great views. Our tour guide JD met us at the train station and was friendly, engaging, extremely knowledgeable about the history of Machu Pichu along with the history and culture of the Incas. He is a native of the area and has much passion and pride in his heritage. We had a group of 4 and did circuit 2 which ware very happy we chose. We were told this is the best choice. There is a reason this tour company has 5 star rating and all the excellent reviews. We looked at many other options and we are so glad we chose them. Just finished doing the circuit 2 with Isao from Peru hikers. He is one of the best guides I have ever had, not only was he friendly and knowledgeable, he was just an overall great guy. The Machu Picchu hike was way better than expected. Some things I recommend to bring if you see clouds are a rain jacket, we lucked out and didn’t get any rain but it was seeming to.

The guide was excellent and explained the entire trip so well - given it was a private trip and I was only being attended by the personal guide who was very caring ! The only challenge was to wait in a long queue for the bus to go up near the Machu Picchu entry gate !

Peru hikers has been a dream! They accommodated so much for our group and did not make anything seem a problem from pick up to drop off. Isao Isao, man you are the bomb. The best photographer, and the best tour guide anyone can get for a tour. You flooded us with information but we never got bored. I actually only wanted more (sorry for asking a million questions) You are fantastic! This is one of greatest days of my life.

We fully enjoyed our private tour with Peru Hikers. From picking us up at our hotel in Cusco, dropping us to the train station in Ollantaytambo then meeting our guide in Aguas Calientes and after the tour picking us back up in Ollantaytambo and dropping us to our hotel in Maras. Everything was super easy and so well planned out. We especially enjoyed tour guide Isao, he was absolutely amazing, his English was fantastic and he provided us with so much information on the history of Machu Picchu. Peru Hikers and our guide Isao were the absolute best. We did the Machu Picchu day trip and full day Rainbow Mountain trips from Cusco on back to back days. The attention to detail in all the travel plans and the organization was top tier. We wehad a fantastic time on this Machu Picchu tour! The train ride was great and relaxing, and the site was so fantastic! Isao was The best tour guide ever! He met us at the train got us on the bus to go up to the mountain. Took great pictures and explained everything about the site. My day at Machu Picchu with Peru hikers was perfect. From start to finish they set me up with an incredible day that went off without a hitch. The Observatory Vistadome train was incredible – you’ve got views of the mountains around you through the glass ceiling and walls, while a band plays and dancers dance around you. Then, someone met me at Aguas Calientes to make sure I got from the train station to the bus station and all the tickets were sent to me in advance so that there were no problems. Once I got to Machu Picchu, I was lucky enough to have Isao as my guide. He knew everything about the history, archaeology and natural beauty of Machu Picchu and the surrounding region. He took me wherever I wanted to go on the circuit and basically spent the entire day with me, answering all my questions and making sure I drank a lot of water. He will make sure you have the best photos that you will always have to remember the day. He’s also just an incredible person with an amazing life story and a beautiful heart. I cannot say enough good things about him and Peru hikers. If you’re considering this tour company, don’t go anywhere else! You won’t regret it!

We had an absolutely amazing time! Our tour guide was Isao, who is now our brother. He was so knowledgeable, patient when I caught elevation sickness, and went above and beyond with getting all of our photos, videos, etc. we honestly don’t think the experience would have been as great without him. He even took us to an amazing restaurant with a beautiful view before we got in our train back to Cusco. Now, to talk about the whole experience all together, it was absolutely a 10/10. The tour was so organized. We were communicated with so well, picked up from our air BnB, guided throughout so we were not lost one bit, and even had a driver waiting for us when we got back! I will definitely be using this tour company in the future and recommend anyone visiting Peru to do the same. Also, the train and Machu Picchu is absolutely gorgeous!! I hope you enjoy like we did

So very very Happy with my trip to Machu Pichu. Very happy with my guide Isao today. We did Machu Pichu circuit 4, and huchuy pichu. He was waiting for me at the train station and was very informative, helpful taking pictures so I didn’t have to have selfie shots. 100% would recommend Peru Hikers. Door to door service from Cusco to Machu Pichu and back. They took care of everything bus, train, MP ticket, along with guide.

Isao provided us with an unforgettable and wonderful experience by guiding us through the city of Machu Picchu and the archaeological site. He explained the Inca history, as well as the subsequent discoveries. He also helped us get lunch and made sure we took the train back to Ollantaytambo.
