I dreamed of going to Rainbow Mountain from the moment I saw its pictures. I dug deep into Social Media to find a travel agency as soon as I realized it was too much to plan on my own which is my preference. One night I sent a WhatsApp to Machu Picchu Tours and the friendship with Tania began. I asked A LOT of questions and she gave us the white glove treatment. Not a single thing was missed or needed from the moment we landed in Cusco til we left. The guides we had were very knowledgeable proud of their Incan Heritage and so willing to share it with others it was just palpable. Though not my main reason to come the excursion to Machupicchu was top notch and extra love and shout out to Leo who was our guide for that excursion. I say all this to say that Machupicchu Tours made my Cusco experience more than I could ever dream of and I left Cusco shedding tears because I didn’t want to leave. If traveling to South America is on your bucket list that includes Peru work with the team at Machupicchu Tours they will make a dream come true an experience you will talk about for the rest of your life. I visited Machu Picchu with my kids and I couldn’t have wished for a better experience. The entire trip was thoughtfully organized and tailored to our needs, which made everything so much easier and more enjoyable. We felt genuinely cared for throughout the day, and I really appreciated the flexibility, kindness, and attention to detail. Thank you for such beautiful memories! Lots of issues with correspondence with this company and getting our tickets but after a lot of Whatsapp messages we were all set the night before. Taxi and train to Machu Picchu town was on our own and not very clear on what to do but we managed ok as there's lots of people to ask once you are at the train station. Guide only met us at Machu Picchu Town only tell us he would meet us in an hour to catch the bus to the top. He was ok in the complex but we could have easily stayed longer inside instead of waiting on carpark in-between circuits for an hour. Our return train was delayed which meant we were out for over 16 hours, a very long and tiring day. We felt this was a very expensive trip and didn't really offer good value for money but having seen the people queuing for tickets it was probably the simplest way to see the site.

We had an amazing experience exploring Machu Picchu with Willy Maqque! Everything was very well organized, and the entire tour was smooth from beginning to end. Willy Maqque provided so much valuable information, sharing fascinating facts, history, and details that made the experience even more special. His English was excellent, and all his explanations and instructions were clear, detailed, and easy to understand. On top of being knowledgeable and professional, he was also great at taking pictures! He captured some absolutely beautiful photos that will help us remember this incredible experience forever. Machu Picchu is pretty good place to visit. machupicchuperutravel made all the arrangements to make it a smooth ride for me. They asked me to upgrade to vistadome train which turned out to be a really good suggestion. I enjoyed the train, live music and vibrancy. Guided tour was fulfilling as well.

We booked the private Machu Picchu experience for two, including a private car transfer from Cusco to the train station, the Vistadome train, and a private guided tour of the site. It is certainly a premium-priced experience, but for such a once-in-a-lifetime destination, I would absolutely do it again. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. Communication with Tania was excellent throughout the booking process. She was always responsive and helpful, and even came to our hotel the day before to hand over all our tickets, explain the itinerary in detail, and answer all our questions. That personal touch was greatly appreciated. When we arrived at the train station, our guide, Willy, warmly welcomed us and stayed with us throughout the entire visit. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights into the history, culture, and significance of Machu Picchu. His English was excellent, making every explanation easy to understand. He also knew all the best photo spots and helped us capture some unforgettable memories. To top it off, he recommended a very good restaurant (not included in the price) for after our visit, which was the perfect end to the visit while waiting for the return transfer. Be prepared for a long day from Cusco—our day started at 5:00 a.m. and we returned around 8:30 p.m. Most of the time is spent on transportation, transfers, and waiting (each way is around 4 hours: car+train+bus), while the visit to Machu Picchu itself lasts around 2.5 hours (we had booked Circuit 1, which offers the best views although you are not able to enter the village itself (this would be circuit 2). However, every minute is absolutely worth it. A big thank you to Tania and especially to Willy for making this unforgettable experience so smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Tania was the most attentive, professional knowledgeable, and reliable travel agent I have ever work with. Of the many examples, one that stands out was when we were very worried about our airport arrival time to the airport, Tania immediately responded and eased our worries as she did numerous times through out our seven day vacation.

We took the one-day tour to Machu Picchu and Rainbow Mountain. Although there was a small misunderstanding regarding the language of the tour, the team immediately resolved the issue, and we were assigned to another guide—an exceptional one. We really appreciated his attention to detail, the fact that he didn’t rush us throughout the tour, and that we had plenty of time to explore, take photos, and learn valuable information about the Incas and the history of Machu Picchu. The tour to Rainbow Mountain was also excellent. I loved that the guide accompanied us to the Red Valley, even though this part of the tour was optional, and only five of us chose to do it that day. The tour included a varied and delicious breakfast and lunch, transportation, and a guide. Overall, Machu Picchu Peru Travel was prompt, provided us with all the information we needed, and offered assistance both during and outside the tours. We had the best time with Mach Picchu Peru Travel company, not only in the Tambopata Amazon rainforest, but our one day Machu Picchu tour! We struggled to find reviews with them on the rainforest portion so we weren’t sure what to expect and it was so amazing!!! Our guide, Javier was super knowledgeable, easy-going and all around wonderful. Everything was taken care of from transportation to and from the airport, to the beautiful accommodations, to the best food we’ve had in Peru. We even asked them for some of their recipes on this four day excursion because it was so well flavored. They accommodated vegetarian and dairy free! We saw a lot of animals thanks to our guide and I would recommend the four day tour because otherwise if you only do three days you just have one day to potentially see animals! We could not recommend using this 100% Peruvian travel company more!! We would love to come back and use them again! They also were very communicative via WhatsApp and laid out all the details for both the Amazon rainforest tour and the one day Machu Picchu tour.

The trip is a package tour with daily group assignments managed by the staff. While a staff member explains the itinerary at the hotel before the trip, it would be better if they provided a complete paper itinerary.

Great day trip! We got the upgraded train tickets and enjoyed the journey. What a magical place. As an FYI the food/drinks for additional purchase on the train are quite pricy.

The whole trip was extremely well organized! It was just fabulous. I had email contact with the organizer even when we only arrived in Cusco at 9:30 pm. She called me to walk me through the details of timing and steps for the actual tour. I was sent all the required tickets. The next morning we were picked up at our hotel shortly before 5 am by a driver in a very nice and clean car and were taken to the train station in Ollantaytambo where we took the amazing Vistadome train to Aguas Calientes. The views were incredible. Our excellent guide met us at the train station and then we lined up for the bus to Machu Picchu. The line looked long but moved quickly. Our guide, Jaime, was great. Very knowledgeable, gave us lots of fascinating information and the tour lasted about 3.5 hours. We then repeated the steps to return back to our hotel where we arrived around 7 pm. We had time to explore Aguas Calientes before getting back on the vistadome train, again with incredible views. It was truly a once in a lifetime, very special day and it was truly so well organized. The next day I was again contacted by the tour organizer to ensure everything went well and they even left a few little presents for us at the hotel front desk. Definitely very highly recommend booking this tour!!

We only had 2 days in Cusco so we booked a full-day private tour. Tania was very responsive, she took care of everything (private transfer from/to our hotel, train tickets, guide inside Machu Picchu). Tania and Jaqui were great. Very good communication from booking all the way to the end of the tour. The bi-modal bus and train journey to Aguas Calientes and from Cuzco was very long. The only thing that could've made the experience better is if there was a direct train between these two stations. Machu Picchu itself was beautiful and exactly what you see in photos. I had the best experience traveling to Machu Picchu organized by Tania. Her and the guide Willie’s English was so good it was amazing. Tania organized the transportation from my hotel pick up , transfer to the train station, I got the best seats in the train with 360 view ! Then my guide was waiting for me at the other side of station and we proceeded to Machu Picchu. I learned so much history , architecture, the best restaurants to eat, the best stores to shop , the best places to see. I am super happy with this agency. Never had I ever had any problems, concerns , questions because it was organized so perfectly and explained very clearly. I had all tickets delivered to my hotel and I personally met Tania. I highly recommend!!! Definitely will be back for more adventures since my visit was very short only 3 days in Cusco Peru.
