Machu Picchu Full Day Experience From Cusco

I was traveling alone in Peru. I didn’t know the language, the culture, or anyone, but I knew I wanted to see Machu Picchu. Enter this tour. By the time I booked, it was too late to get an online ticket. The team was transparent from the start and immediately offered several options. I chose to spend two days and one night in Aguas Calientes. Day 1 was to secure my Circuit 2 ticket, and Day 2 was to visit Machu Picchu. The fee covered round trip transportation from my hotel, a 3 star hotel in Aguas Calientes with a private bathroom and majestic views, the tour, and an excellent English speaking guide. I requested an upgrade to the Vistadome train, which Veronica arranged. I highly recommend it for the snacks and entertainment! But the real value was in the details. Veronica was spectacular at coordinating everything and made the entire experience seamless. At every stop, someone was there waiting for me. I never had to figure anything out, and I never once felt lost or alone. I felt like a VIP from beginning to end. I’m truly grateful for this experience and for the wonderful network of people who made it all happen so effortlessly. Absolutely worth it!

It was a great experience and went really smooth throughout without any issues. Would recommend everyone to do a Machupicchu trip with these guys and will enjoy it thoroughly.

We had an incredible experience visiting Machu Picchu, and a big part of that was thanks to our guide, Roy Quispe Humanaco. From the start, you could tell how knowledgeable and passionate he was about the history and culture of the area. He didn’t just walk us through the site—he brought it to life. Every stop had meaning, and he did a great job explaining things in a way that was easy to understand without feeling like a lecture. He also did a great job pacing the tour. We never felt rushed, and he made sure we had time to take everything in, ask questions, and get some great photos along the way. He also went above and beyond helping us capture the experience. He knew exactly where the best photo spots were, helped line up great shots, and even took videos for us so we could actually be in the moment instead of worrying about capturing it. Those little things made a big difference and gave us memories we’ll keep forever. What really stood out was how much he cared about making it a great experience for us specifically. He was attentive, flexible, and made sure we got the most out of our time there. If you’re planning a trip to Machu Picchu, having the right guide makes all the difference. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

I traveled to Peru with my whole family from the USA to spend quality time together and enjoy nature, including one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Machu Picchu. We booked the full-day Machu Picchu tour and the Sacred Valley tour, and it was truly an amazing experience. From the very first day, the team at Tikas Peru was incredibly flexible with our needs and explained everything in detail, which made us feel comfortable and well taken care of. During our visit to Machu Picchu, we had plenty of time to learn from the guide and also enjoy free time to take lots of pictures. The next day, we explored the Sacred Valley. The driver was very friendly, and our tour guide Michael kept us informed and entertained throughout the entire trip. They were very professional, everything was on time, and the organization was excellent. The Machu Picchu and Sacred Valley tours were the best option for us. Our guides were Michael and Ferdinand and they were fantastic and very patient. We had a group of children ages 6-17 and adults and the guides were extremely patient with the children. Michael especially did a great job engaging the children with facts and stories about the sites we visited. They were informative and friendly. They did a good job adjusting the pace based on the weather and how the group was feeling. We enjoyed getting to know them. We booked with them a few months prior to our trip and they communicated well and set up a fantastic trip for us. They were accommodating and went above and beyond to help us. They were our guides for the trip itself and not just the historic sites. Would absolutely recommend to everyone!

My experience was amazing one of best I’ve ever had, the tour guide took us to the most beautiful places in Cusco and the guide took time telling us the important details about the city.

It was very good. From the beginning Veronica gave me so much information for me to get a better understanding of what would take place. Many things I didn't know when planning. Then we got Roy as our tour guide . He was super great. Assisted us up untill we left Machu Picchu. This made our trip much easier for us since we had so little time as well.
