Machu Picchu Day Trip From Cusco

My Machu Picchu day trip from Cusco and back was great! Good organization, clear explanations and info, good contacts with the tour operator, good transportation (that made it super easy), and a great and very knowledgeable guide! I was also super lucky to be the only English speaking person in the group, so I had the bonus of a private guided tour of Circuit 1. Simply fabulous! 🤩

Our trip to Machu Picchu was an incredible experience! The organization was excellent, even for a one-day trip, and everything went smoothly. Machu Picchu is truly magnificent, and having such a great guide made the experience even more special and unforgettable. Absolutely worth it!

The tour was so great, Dayvid is very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about all historical sites, Incas history and culture. We saw so many beautiful different landscapes that was breathtaking, a unique experience.

It is definitely a memorizable trip. This agent is well known on RedNote with fair price. The 24 hour customer support makes it easier for planning, booking, and emergency reporting. The trip to Machupicchu was well organized and it saves us a lot of efforts. The guide Samu was trustable and experienced. He speaks good English and knows the history well with updated knowledge basement. His explanation definitely improved our experience. The weather is very changeable, thanks to Samu that he provided the feasible solution. The pick up was quite early (it is worthy), however the pick up was delayed. I called the service number at 3am, they picked up and solve the problem immediately. Thank you so much for the great team work!

Macchu picchu was even more beautiful thsn the pictures! We entered the complex at 11 AM and was stunned by the views. Our guide Samuel was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was also a great photographer.

Fantastic experience, these guys are a fantastic tour group, could not recommend more. If you are looking for an affordable way to see Machu Picchu without doing a multi day trek this is a great option.

I love everything about this tour. I will do it again when I visit Cusco, the agency that was responsible for me making it to Machu Picchu was amazing, they helped me the whole way and I was able to see Machu Picchu because of their helped. The instructions were clear and I had no problems knowing what to do because of how easy the agency made my tour. I recommend anyone visiting Machu Picchu to book this tour everything about this tour was amazing.

No itinerary shared beforehand or meeting given (which a lot of the reputable companies do) so I had no idea what was happening. In the morning the taxi pulled up somewhere and said is this ok, I didn’t know because they didn’t give us any information about what to expect. Over the day I got random calls from people I didn’t know who picked me up from one location and left me in another. There was no consistent host or guide throughout the day. At Macchu picchu, unbeknown to myself or the guide, my Macchu picchu ticket was for a different circuit. Was left at the entrance by the guide to take the rest of the group in and told to wait for another guide to pick me up. No one came, I waited 45 mins and continuously tried to contact SAP adventures who were very slow to answer and unhelpful when they did. When they finally answered the phone they said they would call me back and didn’t. So I went in on my own, Macchu picchu itself was obviously incredible. The return trip from ollantaytambo to cusco no information was given about the bus situation. When I asked they told me to return the same way I came. This was actually incorrect because my way home the provider was different so after conversations with the initial agency, when I finally found the right one I had to wave my arms in front of the bus to get it to stop as it was already leaving. Communication was horrendous. Just book it yourself, then at least you know what is going on and where you need to be. As someone travelling on their own for the first time I thought this would be easier but I was so wrong. And after all this I got a 10USD refund on a trip which cost nearly £300 (approx 400USD) and that was because part of the offering is a guide which I never received. Whole thing was a joke.

We experienced Machu Picchu with Samuel our guide and it was perfect. The day was extremely well organised and Samuel ensured that getting to and from Machu Picchu was no problem. The experience was incredible, with perfect weather for seeing Machu Picchu. Samuel was the perfect guide with expert and detailed knowledge which ensured the whole circuit was covered and all questions answered. Samuel made sure we had the complete experience and took pictures from the best spots along the circuit. We would 100% recommend SAP and Samuel for a great experience at Machu Picchu

Samuel is very knowledgeable in the story telling, we get to learn a lot about the history and Inka Culture. very precise and accurate with timing. Very caring, patient and easygoing too! He also helped our families take many beautiful shots. Just perfecto!

I promise you, don’t miss out on this. Everybody needs to do this once during their lifetime and it’s no one better than Sap to show you the way. We felt so safe and saw beautiful things that makes a grown up cry. Machu pichu and Sap, Thank you!

The place is Wonderful, we unfortunately had the downtime of arriving in Cusco we were informed that the tour to Machu Picchu had been cancelled because the contracted company had not been able to buy the tickets to the Machu Picchu Site, but offered us an alternative tour of 2 days in which we should personally with the Passport in hand buy the tickets in place. An unexpected surprise which left us worried, but faced with the circumstance, the only alternative to continue the visit. Faced with the situation then, we accept the alternative offered, but sincerely, unpleasant surprise.

The tour we did was perfect! The support team by WhatsApp always efficient, the punctual and polite drivers and the guide Yeni very smart and smart. We thank you for everything, it was an unforgettable day thanks to you.
