Easy trip and excellent communication from the vendor! A great day trip. They even helped me get an earlier train back. It was highly organized regarding transport and went smoothly. Great guide too!

this tour does not actually include a ticket. you will arrive a day earlier in Aguas Calientes to waste the whole day standing in line for entrance ticket to Machu, and if you go to get a coffee from the train, it may turn out that there will be no tickets because they only sell 1000 tickets. When we got off the train at 8, we were standing in the line 2 hours and we had a number 908/1000, and later in the evening another 3 hours in the line to get a ticket. You can organize it yourself, but no one mentions it in the description of the trip, that we have to get the tickets ourselves. if this is normal in Peru, it should be written about it so that tourists are aware because every visitor was pissed about it
The arrangement and the services are perfect. The agent is reliable. You should book the trip earlier enough in order to make sure to get the entry ticket.
My husband had booked the one day tour for Machu Picchu. He received the confirmation email and his credit card was charged. Everything seemed good to go. Three days before his trip he received an email informing him his trip had been cancelled. No explanation. We ran around to some offices in Cusco to see if by chance he could get a last minute ticket/trip, but couldn’t find one. So he flew all the way to South America excited about Machu Picchu, and was extremely disappointed. Luckily South America is such a wonderful place, he was still able to enjoy the trip. Think twice about using this company, especially if it is an important trip. Robin, Georgia
This is one of the worst tour companies I’ve ever dealt with. We booked a one day tour by train. The night before our trip, the tour company called me to tell me they changed it to a two-day tour. The told us they didn’t have Machu Picchu tickets for us and we would have to get them ourselves. We had to scramble to rearrange all of our travel plans and missed our tour to rainbow mountain. We had to keep our hotel in Cusco an extra night with no reimbursement. We made it to Aguascalientes where now we had to spend the night in a hostel that the tour company arranged for us. After getting off the train, we were met by a tour guide. He took us to the ticket place where we had to wait in line to get a time to come back to get tickets. After we got our time, I asked the tour guide if was going to help us purchase our tickets. He said yes he would meet us later but he never showed up again. I also had to get money from him to purchase the tickets since I had already paid the tour company. He gave me cash but it didn’t cover all the costs. Then we had to return later in the afternoon and wait in line at the Machu Picchu operations for hours again to buy the tickets. The tour guide at the actual Machu Picchu was the only excellent part. When we left, they reserved us on the train in two different train cars. I went to the train station and changed them myself. Essentially, I did all the work that the tour company was supposed to accomplish for us. The whole goal was to hire the company to make things easier. They did almost nothing. I would stay clear from this company.
We paid for a whole day tour that includes the transfer in their morning, tickets valid for the whole day and a guide. But what we got was a transport picking us up 4.5 hours later than scheduled, a terrible guide (Ulysses) that mentioned barely anything significant about Machu Picchu but preferred talking about celebrity gossip and the duration of Llama orgasms. Lastly we didn’t get full day tickets and had to leave after the tour since we weren’t allowed reentry and the tour ended at the end of the one way leading through Machu Picchu.
WORST TRIP OF MY LIFE. Honestly I was so sad and disappointed about how this tour went considering the price and the dreams I had in my head of how this day would go. After being woken up by a phone call by our tour guide an hour ahead of pickup telling us to meet in an alley at 3 am instead of by the safety of our hotel we were already a little nervous, but then when we arrived to said spot, we were there waiting for over 20 minutes. It took over an hour and a half for the driver to pick everyone up and he was very flustered because he couldn't find the people (I'm assuming they wouldn't answer the phone or weren't ready?). There were not enough seats for us all so the two final ladies had to share one seat and one lady just sat on the floor. We finally arrive to the train station and were given no instructions whatsoever. Some people had to practically run to their train because we were running so late. Our train got scheduled for an hour later and when we arrive in agua calientes, we had no instructions on what to do. We finally find our guide and he tells us we had until 1 pm (6 hrs of free time) until we had to meet back for our tour. We were not at all expecting this and were very frustrated because nothing was open, we ended up sitting in the square for hours doing nothing. Our guide was late to pick us up for our tour so we had to wait in line forever to go up on the bus to Machu Picchu. When we finally get up there, we are introduced to our new guide who would take us through the ruins. He made several inappropriate comments towards me and my travel partner (both college girls) and demanded pictures with us. When we asked to take pictures of certain things (such as the llamas) he would say "later"; however, he rushed us through the place and we never got pictures with them. We were only in the ruins for around an hour even though we had enough time for us to be up there at least 3 hours. Once we took the train home we again had no instructions and had difficulty finding our guide (yes, that's 4 different guides in a day). We all felt very unsafe and frustrated by the time our late bus came (we waited in the streets for about 35 minutes). The bus was crowded and unkempt. The bus ended up breaking, leaving us stranded for another 30-40 minutes. While broken down, we learned that we had all paid different prices for this excursion, and we had paid the most. (DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THIS COMPANY ON TRIPADVISOR). We got home hours later than scheduled and were mentally broken. Machu Picchu is beautiful and a must see....just don't see it with this tour!!!
Great experience. I lost my house key and the driver in the morning was patient and waited for 30 minutes for me. I thought I was going to have to cancel but the staff was very nice about it. The tour was spectacular and I was never lost. Very well organized. Would definitely recommend.
We made our reservation with Karen and explained everything in detail and offered us what was agreed. all excellent. 100% recommended.
Very satisfied especially our tour guide and driver even though it rained for a portion we all enjoyed seeing Machu Picchu
Had a full day trip to Machu Picchu with friend in Jan. Purchased this 1-day package on TripAdvisor. We had not been contacted by the travel agency till I called them on a cell phone. Their phone number is different with the one we got when this package was confirmed. I only noticed it on the reminder email from TripAdvisor. Then they send the tickets and itinerary to our hotel the night before our trip. Wrong tickets were delivered in the first try. But we finally got the correct ones before we left for the trip the other morning. They don't confirm or contact with us in advance is something made us unsettled. The trip started with a taxi pick up. It took about 2 hours to the train station. And the taxi driver wated us full day (meeting us from the hotel at 4am and meet us again at the train station after the trip at 10pm) The driver is very nice although he doesn't speak English. And the tour guide who speaks English is also very nice and full of knowledges about Machu Picchu. We had a great visit there. We think the organization of the trip was not very satisfying as they booked us a train from Machu Picchu at 7pm. But our trip actually ends at 1pm in the afternoon. So we had to wait at the train station for the full afternoon. If the travel agency can confirm the trip with us via email in advance, we might have more choices and the taxi driver ddin't have to wait for that long.
I make my reservation with karen. She was help me to booked Everything for went to Machupicchu. I recommended to Machupicchu peru cusco Agency.
A good experience with a lot of sightseeing, learning and introduction to Peru. Machu Picchu Peru Cusco organised this exceptionally well. The team of crew that was on this tour were friendly and helpful. Highly reccomended.
Thank you to Karen and her team for taking excellent care of me as i reached Cusco after a long bus journey from Puno. My trip to Machu Picchu was exceptional, Karen took care of everything and made this an unforgettable trip. My guide Joel was very nice and attentive, he took care of even the tinyest detail. I highly recommend Machu Picchu Peru Cusco and and would surely use them in future.
Whoever it is. I think it's about time Change some trains Ave Shame on the toilets Stuck, taps without water Too bad we go a lot bird 🦃 and it is worse than those that cost less.
Hat alles sehr gut geklappt! Am Vortag wurden uns die Tickets für Zug, Bus und Eintritt Machu Picchu zugeschickt. Um 02:30 wurden wir vor unserem Hotel abgeholt. Supererlebnis trotz der vielen Besucher.
After making the Reservation the company contacted and said that they had no more tickets for the informed circuit. The alternative would be another circuit that does not allow entry into the city of Macchu Picchu or extend the journey for two days, at an additional cost. I chose to cancel the tour, however, the company does not cancel and does not make the refund. Nor answer my messages anymore. My mistake was not reading the reviews before making the Reservation, so I leave the warning here. TripAdvisor needs to remove this company from the site!
Overrated, a long dense and expensive excursion. The attention of the train staff left much to be desired. The ugly place.
Muy recomendable el tour, loa guías excelentes y atentos, solo como consejo traten de comprar las entradas con anticipación en la página oficial así se evitan una fila en el pueblo de machupicchu para comprar las entradas y tener que llegar un dia antes para comprarlas.
Spectacular views. Excellent support and assistance from the agency during the experience. A guide with extensive knowledge and excellent disposition with the group
Machupicchu, apesar de ter visitado. Não encontrei o guia. Acabei fazendo o passeio sozinho. Acredito que as explicações que teria com o guia iria enriquecer o passeio com conhecimento.
This is the company you need to travel with in machu Picchu. They coordinate everything perfectly and are very attentive. I made my reservation from US by PayPal without problem.
We arrived in the city of Cusco and had no idea how to get to Machu Picchu. But we arrived at Machu Picchu Peru cusco agency which gave us different options to get to Machu Picchu but we decided to make by train a full day. And we loved the organization all our tickets were delivered a day before departure and very clear the explanation of the staff who attended us the very good guide. Everything was wonderful.
All well organized, the very professional guide with high knowledge They offered me the best experience. I recommend it.
Did this tour with Inka Tours. The hotel pick-up in the morning just before 4.00am worked perfectly. The care throughout the day was perfect. Guided tour of the ruin site by a very well trained guide. The train trip I also liked very much. I'd be happy to...
I had booked last minute, so one day before the tour, because another provider had cancelled me at short notice due to the downpours and access to Machu Picchu. The tickets were brought to the hotel by this newly booked provider in the evening. The tour started very early and everything went well. The guide on the Machu Picchu site was always in a bit of a hurry, but was very informative. Two older participants had efforts to get behind as many steps. Great is also the driveway with some food.
TOUR TO PERU, MACHU PICCHU, AS FINAL DESTINATION. MACHU PICHO – PART 2 On the 26th, our day started at San Pedro station to take the train to Machu Picchu by bus. A trip in two stages, first and bus and then train to Machu Picchu. A wonderful train trip that included a panoramic wagon. In Machu Picchu we stayed at Flower’s House Machu Picchu in Aguas Calientes. The lunch was at Tasty Machupicchu whose average price was 35 reais per dish). In the afternoon we made our traditional Walk Tou and visited Aquas Calientes, the Church of the Virgin Del Carmen, the Plaza Manco Ccapac, the banks of the Urubamba River, the craft market of Aquas Calientes. Dinner was at Mapacho Craft Beer & Restaurant where we ate as an entry, Ceviche with avocado cream and the famous Lomo (gross beef) + a pasta, pisco and cusqueña. Day 27, the destination was Machu Picho. First we took a bus (40-minute line) and upon arrival, we hired a private guide for our group. The visit to Machu Pichu takes 3 hours. Another place that needs good physical health, a lot of rising and descending, challenging steps. To visit this monument go with a comfortable tennis, light clothes and jacket because it can cool off. You cannot eat inside Machu Picchu, but still carry a bag with water, snack, fruits (this is important because things are quite expensive there), repellent, sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat/hat. Tripod and selfie stick are prohibited. Logically you can not forget to bring your Passport stamp at the entrance, this for those who like collecting travel stamps. At the end of the day we return to Aguas Calientes
