Overall experience was good. Our guide was knowledgeable. Especially liked it when we stopped by a store that sold alpaca materials and actually showed us the alpaca that they use for the materials. Very interesting.

Great tour. The guide was very professional and well prepared. Got to know major facts and visited major places around city. I would not make it by myself. Recommended.
Was good with 4 ruins visited. The guide skipped the cathedral and took us forced shopping nstead ..
We booked this tour with high expectations but unfortunately were left very disappointed. When we arrived at the operator’s office, things were already chaotic and disorganised. On top of that, there was a significant language barrier, which made communication difficult. We explained to the guide that we had already visited the first three stops and asked to meet later at Sacsayhuamán instead. The guide told us to meet at 3:45 PM, which both myself and my travel partner clearly confirmed. However, at 3:00 PM I received a call insisting that the meeting time was actually 3:00 PM, and by then the group had already departed. This left us stranded and unable to join the tour. After paying for the experience, it was frustrating to miss it entirely because of the operator’s poor organisation and miscommunication. We did not receive what was promised, and it felt like a complete waste of both time and money. I cannot recommend this tour and would advise others to be cautious.
The Inca ruins and the llama park. The churches were nice but couldn’t take pictures (but we saw other groups taking pics). Very high entrance fee for it to. The tour guide was good. The bus driver was very agressive. Very happy they allowed to change date due to illness
Loved seeing and learning about the ancient Incan cities. Great tour and great opportunity for photos
This tour provides extensive coverage of Peruvian history, allowing us to gain substantial knowledge. Our guide possesses exceptional expertise and recounts historical events with precision. Timely hotel pickup and drop-off at Plaza de Armas, offering ample options for a satisfying dinner.
The guide was very knowledgeable and professional. He kept us on time and allowed for bathroom breaks. The sites were wonderful. Remember to bring Sols since the entrance to the sites are not included. The llama and alpaca farm was great to see and the factory was very good quality for buying alpaca sweaters.
The tour tried his best to show us a good time We got to the last stop 15 minutes after closing so he took us to an alpaca farm to feed the animals
Excellent tour! We visit all sightseeings listed in our itinerary, Cusco Cathedral, four Incas sites, etc. Our tour guide Victor is vey knowledgeable about Incas history and he shared his knowledge with us. Victor is fluently English speaking tour guide. I would strongly recommend him as your tour guide in Cusco!
Highly recommend this tour! It makes seeing many important, historical tourist attractions super easy!
Remarcabile information provided by our guide, Richard. We enjoyed all the archeological sites visited as well as the llamas and alpacas farm.
The tour guide Jhanett is very informative and fun, the car is clean, have oxygen tanks for altitude sickness emergency :) Unfortunately, the tour operator forgot to pick me up at 12:45 so I missed first half of the city tour. After I call and text and ask for a full refund, they managed to come at 15:00 and I got half of the tour outside the city.
Our guide Fidel was perfect for this tour. His English is excellent and his knowledge of the tour sites is amazing he kept the tour on time and we greatly appreciated that His friendliness and the energy he puts into his job is above and beyond what we expected
Pretty poor planning for this tour. I was told I’d be picked up by 7.15 at the latest. Several calls and WhatsApp messages later, I finally got through to the tour agency who sent someone to pick me up around 7.45. We then waited for the minibus and finally got going around 8.15. When we arrived at the first site, the tour guide disappeared for about 15 mins. The members of our group were all pretty confused. When he returned, he said he was going to give us free time to explore the site, until one of the members of the group complained that we’d paid for a guided tour. The tour was then primarily in Spanish, although the guide did make an effort to translate to English. We spent what felt like an hour at a souvenir shopping stop off, which further delayed the tour and meant I had to leave early and miss the final stop on the tour. The tour itself does pack in a lot, so I’m sure if you’re not pushed for time and you speak Spanish as a first language it’s a great tour to take.
Cusco is very beautiful! All of the archeological sights around Cusco were amazing. We weren't sure what to expect and everything exceeded our expectations. The guide was great!
We had a wonderful guide who wrote a book about Cusco and its history. We ended up buying it. You get to see a lot of places during the tour and learn so much about them! Unfortunately, my husband and I were sick and had to leave the tour early. Luckily, the bus was able to drop us off at our hotel before Qorikancha (which we sadly didn’t get to see). Even though we didn’t get to finish the tour, we highly recommend it!
Tour guide Marco Antonio was incredible. Great service. Incredible stories of the Incas. This tour is not to be missed if you want to know more about Inca culture and history.
The guide, Nildo, was knowledgeable and spoke English well. He was great! There were at least 6 stops on this tour (more than I expected) so it was a lot to pack in for a half day. I loved that my group was small as well (4 total). I recommend purchasing the full tour pass that covers all the historical sites if you will visit others after this tour.
Thought this was a combo Cusco City and Ruins Tour but it was only a ruins tour - never toured the city of Cusco. Also you must have cash in hand to pay for the entry fees - a total of 95 sols per person - no credit. This was also a bilingual tour - mostly in Spanish. Tour Guide tried to explain things in English but he was difficult to understand. Felt like we did not get what was advertised on Viator. The company in charge of tour was also difficult to get in touch with in regards to pick up times etc.
The tour was great, I have enjoyed it. I would recommend everyone to join the tour. It is fur better than you visit the place alone.
Our guide was really nice. (Irving). Great sights and great landscapes too. Highly recommended if you’re into Incas.
This tour needs to be split from city items (like the cathedral) and the ancient sites. We got no time to explore any of the sites and it was such a waste of money! I would NOT recommend this tour.
We booked this through Trip Advisor last minute as we only had one day in Cusco. We weren't sure who the tour would be with, but it seems that the city tours all merge together and then they efficiently split everyone into language groups. It is very organised. We managed to contact the tour through what's app and arrange a pick up from our hotel on the morning of the tour. We were then driven to the central square where they re-organised us into different language groups. We had Walter who tried hard with the tour and told us as much as he could. The tour was informative and interesting. A good overview to Cusco, we woud def recommend.
Thanks for the great tour. The organising was excellent, the guide, Walter, very good! He provided enough information in a reasonable time frame. Picked up on time, no need for special effort to coordinate anything from my side
Julio our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He explained the history and it’s modern day significance. We got to experience the beauty and appreciate the way of life of ancient Peru. A wonderful tour not to be missed.
I've been pretty satisfied with nearly all of my Viator experiences but this tour was a glaring exception. It was poorly organized and poorly executed. I'll be requesting a refund.
Didn't get picked up on time, about 45 minutes from arranged time and after multiple phone calls to find out that the tour had already started. joined the tour late. The transfer man lied about the starting time of the tour. Then I discovered that they had 4 names on their list and they didn't notice or care that I was missing. However the our was good and the tour guide was knowledgeable and helpful.
Again AMAZING. The knowledge an the skills of the Inka people is just mind blowing. Did just the archeological sites and a textile producer that taught us the different quality grades of lama products and how to spot fakes.
Top notch stuff. Tour guide handed out personal audio devices with an ear piece and spoke into a mic. Van had an awesome AC. Very good tour, loved it.
This was a great tour of the ruins around Cusco and the big Cathedral in the square. Our guide, Wilfredo, was very enthusiastic and informative. He was passionate when he explained the history behind the sites we saw. We met him and the rest our group (about 15 people) outside the Cathedral in the main square. Wilfredo led us around inside the Cathedral and explained so much of the history there. Then we went to Saqsaywaman where we had time to take pictures and walk around the site after Wilfredo taught us about it. Then we went to Qenqo, Tambomachay, and Puka Pukara. These three sites were smaller so we spent less time there, but I think it was all the time that we needed to see them, learn about them, and take pictures. At Qenqo we walked through a cave where the Inkas performed sacrifices which was really cool. Also, all of the sites except the Cathedral were included on the tourist ticket. So if you bought that already, you didn't have to pay to get into the sites. Just show your ticket. Overall, great day. Thank you Wilfredo!
The guide Freddy was extremely knowledgeable on just about everything. The tour is only $20.00 and I suppose that covers the guide and the van for transportation. There are entry fees for these sites, but you would pay them if you went on your own, so DO NOT let those keep you from the tour. It imparted an amazing amount of knowledge for us about the Inca and would recommend it to anyone.
This half-day tour is pretty much the standard Cusco starting tour and tons of people do it. Our tour guide was good but we really felt like we were cramming in too much stuff. All the sites were crowded and we didn't get much time at any of them, except for the cathedral where our guide spent an hour boring our teenagers (and us) to death. Here's what I recommend: Do the cathedral and Quoricancha on your own as they're close to each other and near the Plaza de Armas, which has lots of other cool things to do. Grab a taxi out to Sacsayhuaman on your own - it's really cool and worth more than the 30 minutes we had there. The only other site that's worth a bit of your time is Q'enko, which can also be done on your own with a taxi (it's near Sacsayhuaman).
The tour covers two parts: Inca ruins outside of the city and a couple of Catholic cathedrals in the central Cusco. The guide was fantastic and he was very engaging and demonstrated deep knowledge of the history and connections of Inca culture with Catholic Spain. The tour was very well paced and very informative !
I walked into the office in the morning time as we did not schedule anything ahead of time. We were presented with all of the information about the price of the tour and the extra cost for entry tickets. Although, some of the other tour participants clearly were not aware of the extra cost. We had a great walking tour visiting a couple of churches in the square and seeing architecture around Cusco on foot and then we saw some archaeological sites by bus. I think others in our tour group were not expecting such a fast moving tour, and it made it a little bit chaotic, but it was fine for us. The information presented was very enlightening about the history of the city and sites, and thought it greatly enhanced our visit. Some of the other tour participants were being rather difficult and trying to change the tour, and I thought our tour guide handled it well. I would not necessarily recommend this for families or older folks, as the pace was very fast due to the time constraints.
A great, knowledgeable guide , who took the time for English speakers. Interesting sites to see and explore.
This tour group only had 15 reviews when we booked, but we took a chance, and it ended up paying off. Our guide (Marco?) was excellent. Kept things moving at a good pace. The tour price doesn’t include entrance fees, so be prepared to buck up another 120 soles to get into the sites. If I had to make a suggestion, I would tell the tour company to charge a little more and make the tour just a bit longer (maybe start an hour earlier) so we could spend a little more time at each site. An extra 10 minutes at each place would have been better, but all in all, very satisfied with what we got for our money.
This tour is great for people who are pressed on time, but if you have more than 1-2 days in Cusco I highly suggest you book your tour elsewhere. Each stop we only had around 20 minutes to explore with the guide threatening that if you’re not back at the bus within 20 minutes they will leave you behind. I’m all about being on time, especially when traveling in a foreign country, so I rushed through Sacsahuaman and showed up to the designated spot 5 minutes early only to find our bus nowhere to be seen. The guide didn’t explain all the directions well and made everyone so stressed out by saying how quickly we had to rush through every place or else we’d be left behind. Me and two other people got left behind at Sacsahuaman, even though we showed up on time to the spot to be picked up, but were not aware that the bus was on the opposite side of the ruins, not at the entrance. We had to take a taxi then a city bus to catch up with our tour. When we caught up we found out that over half the tour of 15 people were just as confused of where to go and luckily ran into the tour guide for further direction while exploring, unfortunately on our way back on the first ruins we didn’t run into her. Many people said they almost did the same thing as us if they didn’t run into her. I’m only giving it an additional star because our guide did appear worried and was happy we made it back to them and I heard she did look for us for awhile. However, this was the worst and most stressful tour I have ever taken while traveling abroad

Great half day city tour that served as an introduction to this magical City. The tour guide was on time, knowledgeable and friendly. We particularly enjoyed the nearby ruins. Recommended.

The tourist tickets required in Cusco are a bit confusing. I purchased the 10 day ticket expecting that it would cover everything but it didn't and I still had to buy entry into some of the sites visited. The tour did not start on time as the guide was half an hour late and we waited for some other people.
The tour apart from that was excellent and tiring and the guide was excellent.

The half-day Cusco tour with local Inca ruins was very nice, light and presented by an informative guide Marco Antonio, who provided a telling insight into the Inca and pre-Inca history. Would recommend.

Really good tour! The guide was great at moving people along promptly so make sure we reached all locations before dark. It was a little hard to find our meeting point because the guide was a bit late, but that's my only real issue with this. We were concerned we were in the wrong place or had missed the tour.

I didn't give this tour 5 stars because we were sold to another agency. We were not contacted the night before about pick-up or anything and we had to call Viator to call the local tour operator. The tour guide we had was very excellent and he has a lot of knowledge to share. I just wish we were told earlier than we would be going with a different agency and we were contacted the night before about the pick-up time.

Hotel pick up at 1 pm was prompt
dropped at city center but had to wait more than 20 min. in the heat before the tour started. Unorganized.if there was Viator flag or representative who speaks English would have eliminated confusion. Person who picked us didn't speak any English..
Finally some body called our name and tour started. Tour itself was good. Marco was informative and fun. Wish web site clearly shows the entrance fees. Spent over 30 for entrance fee.

This tour and our guide Jesus was great. We visited many sites. There was a lot of walking. Jesus was very informative and visibly enjoyed his job and interacting with the group. It is a lot in a half day but well worth the $$$. We used the 10 day tourist ticket for this trip and the sacred valley

I think it would have been much better than I am going to write here. Reason being, I got altitude sickness half way through the tour and ended up fainting. The tour guide and multiple other people including the driver of the bus took good care of me but I was stuck on the bus for the remainder of the tour until dropped off at hotel hours later. Not their fault just the circumstances. I did however enjoy the tourprior to getting sick. Tour guide knowledgeable. It felt somewhat rushed at the beginning and abit confusing trying to find the start up point.
I would recommend the tour but make sure you are acclimitized to altitude before starting any tours.

Good organization and great guide. Fantastic views. Although affordable, some clarity beforehand on price of entrance fee to the park would have helped, and to ensure I brought along Soles to pay since foreign currency not acceptable.

Opportunity to see the heart of Cusco and get up close to many Incan ruins. Amazing history with a very informative tour guide.

I was very happy with our tour guide Mihail. He was very informative and helpful.

Great way to see the sites around Cusco as well as the nearby Ruins. Our guide was great. Hotel pickup went smoothly. Great way to spend the afternoon and see everything.
