Guided Tour In The Sacred Valley Of The Incas Cusco

We booked a private half-day tour of Chinchero and Ollantaytambo. We loved how Jisa worked with us to customize the trip we needed (one-way from Cusco to the rail station in Ollantaytambo). We especially loved our tour guide, Juan, whose sense of humor and English proficiency were both superior to other guides we’ve had in the area. Additionally, we appreciated his flexibility and his knowledge of the history, topography, industry, and culture of the area. Highly recommend!

Our guide, Mihai (might be spelling it wrong) was funny, informative, enthusiastic, and very kind. I accidentally booked the Spanish tour, but he was kind enough to give a special English translation just for me. His jokes were solid as well. In my opinion, the sights on this trip are underrated gems. Machu Picchu gets the most attention in Cusco, but Ollantaytumbo is a vast and impressive citadel that should get a lot more love. You will not regret this trip. A wonderful, memorable way to spend a day.

Absolutely amazing tour From the private transportation with Luis, which was able to get us in and out quickly from each major stop. While others waiting to board busses. Lunch in Urubambo was an amazing buffet in a beautiful location, Resto Muña. To top it all off, Johnny Walker was top notch excellent guide, extremely knowledgeable, kind, patient and caring. Each stop was amazing and learned so much about Incan culture/history. Honestly surprised by how 5 star this tour was. Phenomenal work Team JISA!

Our tour guide Jhonny and our driver Armando took us on a great adventure today. Armando safely took us to all of our destinations, while Jhonny was a fountain of information at each location we visited. I’ve had several tour guides but none compare to Saul. It’s clearly he’s passionate about what he does in the way he covers thoughtful details about the tour sites. We covered a lot of ground in what felt like a short time because of how engaging it was. He’s an excellent steward of the culture and truly makes you feel like a friend.

I came across JISA adventures through instagram and I was a little weary about reaching out but from the moment I reached out they were extremely attentive and answered all my questions. I booked all my excursions through them. Franco was our guide when we went to Machu Picchu and everything was well coordinated by them. I absolutely recommend them for any travel excursions you would like to do while in Peru.

Overall it was a good experience; the places are interesting and incredible. I think communication for passenger pickup can be improved; the logistics. I think it takes too long to pick everyone up; and it is all a matter of communication. One of the positive points was the information and history about the places we visited; it was very interesting information that Rosa shared, and she took us to places where we learned about local crafts and activities.

I liked the places visited quite a bit; with the explanation and stories told by the guide, the experience becomes much more complete and pleasant. The only thing I would like is to be able to visit each place in more depth, but it is understood that due to time it is not possible.

A very good experience, Juanito is an incredible walker, very patient and has excellent command of information. Despite the short time, the experience is enjoyable. One suggestion would be to spend less time in shopping places since they take time away from the tour.
