Full Day Private Tour Of Machu Picchu From Cusco

I was going to give this 1 star, but my guide was great and helped me practice my Spanish. This tour is definitely not worth the money. I even paid extra to do two circuits instead of one. The listing says you will be provided your tickets the day of and have door to door transportation. Instead they give you the tickets one day before and the person was 30 minutes late with no warning. I had to reach out and ask when they were coming. They also last minute changed the pick-up time when I had already told my hotel when to have breakfast ready at the original 3:00 am. They are very unprofessional and I am not sure how their rating is so high. I expected the guide to be with me the whole way instead of only at Machu Picchu. I was very nervous to do the 4 hours of traveling by myself, and I know that there are tour providers that do this because in just my train car, I saw two groups with their tour guide on the way to Machu Picchu and back. I definitely regret choosing this service. If they were transparent about their services, I would have just book everything myself since I was alone anyways. Save your money. If you want a guide, there are plenty at Machu Picchu.

Being someone who for decades has always booked their own entry train bus, etc our experience with this Machu Picchu package was nothing short of perfect. We were greeted the night before and went over the itinerary received. All the tickets was met. Everywhere we were supposed to be met and everything went briskly. If you're gonna do Machu Picchu you this is the way to go.

I have never signed up for a tour in all my years of using Viator that came with this level of service thanks to Steve! The provider was very professional, responsive, and reached out to us multiple times before, during and after the excursion to make sure we were doing well and that everything was going as planned. They came to our hotel the day before to meet and go over all the details and tickets so there were no surprises and everything was incredibly detailed and straightforward. On the day of, the drivers were all on time to and from the train station, the train ride was fun, and the time spent in Aquas Calientes was sufficient to do some shopping and grab lunch before heading to Machu Picchu. We had a wonderful time and never felt that we were alone. There were staff at every step of the journey, from people waiting to meet you when you get off the train to your guide to MP. The tour has been really thought out, and I could not have imagined the day going any better.

Steven makes the trip to Machu Picchu reliable and easy. Communication is fantastic. All necessary information is given. Lately there are many reports about agencies cancelling trips to Machu Picchu the day before which makes it tough to even visit the site the same holiday, as it is incredibly hard to get Tickets on short notice in the peak season. So if you haven't booked Machu Picchu tickets months in advance and want a hassle free experience or if you dont want to organize the trip with train and transfer yourself i can recommend to book here. Not the cheapest of the agencies but well spend money as Steven was able to organize the trip when no other agency nor the official website were able to sell tickets for our specific date. Tickets and Information were conveniently placed at the hotel lobby the day before and Steven gave us a call to explain the Organization of the trip also on the day before. At each step of the trip staff was locally handleing the organization. Also some small presents have been provided as a thank you for the booking. Very recommended. We also booked a sacred valley tour with Steven. No need to say that this was equally professionally handled.

What a wonderful trip! It was so easy and convenient, everything was planned for us and they were super accommodating, even when we wanted to change our plans slightly. The car service and hotels they booked were high quality and got us everywhere we needed to go. And the guides were super nice and very knowledgeable. Incredible views and an amazing experience. Communication with the company was extremely easy. The day before, our guide, Eirton, came to our AirBnB to make sure he knew where to send the morning shuttle and explained the entire process. Day of, the shuttle was waiting at our steps exactly when he said and he met us at the bus station at 4am to start our private tour. Eirton was with us all the way, making sure we didn’t get lost in the complicated process to get to Machu Picchu. It was super helpful to have someone so experienced. At Machu Picchu he was very patient with all our picture taking and told us the history along the way. Also found a fantastic restaurant for us after and gave us all gifts at the end. Highly recommended using this service and asking for Eirton. FYI, here’s a general idea of what to expect: 3:50 Pick up from your hotel and transfer to the bus station in Cusco. 04:20 - 06:20 Travel from Cusco to Ollantaytambo by tourist bus, bimodal service. 06:40 - 08:05 Travel by tourist train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes. 08:10 - 08:45 Travel by tourist bus from Aguas Calientes to Machupicchu. 09:00 - 11:30 Guided tour of the Inca citadel knowing the main enclosures. At the end of the tour we return to Aguas Calientes by the same route, we will have time to walk around the village, have lunch on our own and then return to the train station. 14:30 - 16:10 Travel by tourist train from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo. 16:30 - 18:30 Travel from Ollantaytambo to Cusco by tourist bus bimodal service. My experience on the trip to Machu Picchu was, simply, perfect. From the organization to the execution, everything worked perfectly, but what made this trip unforgettable was that it coincided with my wife's birthday The best part: Impeccable logistics: The schedules, transportation (train, buses), and tickets were coordinated without any setbacks. There were no unnecessary waits or confusion, which allowed us to enjoy every minute.
