We have just completed our macchu Picchu tour and had an amazing time 😍 This tour was very well organized, communicated excellently and made sure that we had everything we need in each step of the way. Our tour guide was Neil and he was amazing he got us from the train station and led us to the bus stop and through route 2A explaining everything in such great detail, he was also very good photographer and has taken some great shots for us. I would absolutely pay for this again as it makes your life so stress free with how good it was organized. This is still a five star rating to me, however, the one negative thing I would say is the drive to the train station is very bumpy (especially that early in the morning), however, this has nothing to do with the drivers ability but the road condition - still an amazing trip.

Terrible! I bought tickets in january (700$). After the payment they said me that train tickets and bus tickets would be sent in August, but now we are ready ti fly tò Perù and by now we do not have train tickets. You know that without train It Is impossible to reach Machu picchu. So we spent a lot of Money and we only have entrance tickets, without any possibility to arrive there. We are desperate. Someone can help us? Is there some authority that we can contact?
Machu Picchu Terra helped us to navigate the complexity of visiting Machu Picchu. We are two University professors who want a deep and serious experience there. Our guide Daylet exceeded our expectations, she not only has deep acknowledge of the history of the site, she transmitted her love and passion for this land and the Inca culture. Thank you, Machu Picchu Terra for taking care of so many practical things.
The tour and the company are quite reputable, but their prices are a little bit higher than other companies offering comparable services. We noticed this after we had already booked with them and then contacted them to ask why their services costed more and they said it was because lunch at Machu Picchu, which was surprising to us because the website indicates that lunch is not included. After bringing this to their attention, and telling them that we preferred not to do the lunch up at Machu Picchu (because it is quite pricey), they did agree to refund some of the money (waiting on this, but they did say it could take up to 35 days so I currently have no reason to believe that they won't follow through). The tour itself was outstanding. Our group of six had a private van pick us up at our hotel and drive us to Ollantaytambo to catch the train up to Aguas Calientes. Our tour guide, Luis, was absolutely amazing. He was extremely well organized having all of our tickets ready for us throughout the day, making sure we were in the right places at the right times, waiting in lines for us so that we could go and check out places like Aguas Calientes, and providing us with a wealth of information throughout the day. By the end of the day it felt weird to be saying goodbye to him, because it felt like he had become one of our group. At that point we also had a private van drive us back from the station to our hotel as well, getting us back safe and sound. All in all, it was a positive experience, made all the better by Luis, our outstanding tour guide.
Overall amazing experience and tour was excellent. Below is my review I’m doing on Trip Advisor and Viator. This company has it down to a science. Flawless execution of an amazing journey in all aspects imaginable. With critical coordination and detailed transfers, multiple tickets and handoffs I cannot be more happy with this tour company. Everything is outline on a single sheet and review in person. I would say the best company for Machu Picchu that there is out there. Even in person review of activities and overview of the trek at your hotel the day before the journey begins. If any issues arise whatsoever they have you covered. It’s fast paced but they’re there to guide you every step of the way. Couldn’t be more satisfied and happy. Book them… you won’t regret it! I’ve traveled 150 countries and just saying this to add credibility to this review. Also don’t worry about passport info sharing as it’s required for park entry/train. If you have cellular signal they even contact you throughout the day to ensure you connect with the right people (although this is not required and I managed fine without it) - they go above and beyond. Best tour experience ever!

I gave this company 5 out of 5 stars because I found the organization of the trip to Manchu Picchu extremely confusing. I purchased bus tickets from Cusco, the train ticket on Peru Rail, shuttle tickets and Manchu Picchu entrance tickets from this one place. I found coordinating the times for the bus train shuttle. Return trip, shuttle, train, and bus exhausting. There is not one website to coordinate all the needed transportation. This company allowed me to purchase everything with the appropriate times. They sent me all the tickets in my email and everything went smoothly!
GREAT experience and organization. Special thanks to Jheyson for helping me organize roundtrip transportation from airport, Full day Guided tour to Machu Picchu circuit 2, City Tour & Sacred Valley. Thank you to Jahdiel for assisting me throughout our trip, Dai, our guide in Machu Picchu & Marilu guide for Sacred Valley. Thanks to you all for making our trip memorable. I will definitely recommend to friends and family.
Unique service, incredible tour guide, perfect organization! I liked everything. This is my second time in Peru, I hope I will visit this beautiful place again!
Excellent team coordination and communication. From the time we booked our tour to all the way I was able to communicate on WhatsApp and they were very responsive. Pick up drop off etc was on time and well coordinated. We added the colored mountain to our Machupicchu tour and it was an excellent adventure. Can’t say enough about the team at Machupicchu Terra. The guide at Machupicchu was excellent, he answered all of our questions and even took a lot of pictures for us. Highly recommended.
It was a great day! Jahdiel met up with us the evening before and was very organized in presenting the itinerary, giving us our tickets, and making sure we knew what to expect. He was also easy to communicate with. Travel up went smoothly- there were people in place to help us get to each leg of the trip which was very helpful. The tour around Machu Picchu was beautiful and very informative. Our tour guide, Nilo, was very informed and personable. He made sure we got a lot of great pictures! We had some delays on the way back, so it made for a very long day and we were really exhausted when we got back to Cusco. Overall, it was a great experience!
We loved our Full Day Tour of Circuit 2 in Machu Picchu. There were 3 adults and 3 children in our group (ages 13, 10, and 7), and we all had a great time! Jahdiel stopped by our hotel a day before the tour to deliver all the tickets and information about what to expect. He was very helpful, friendly, and responsive. Later, our guide Nilo received us in Machu Picchu and was awesome! He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and flexible as we made a couple of stops for the kids to drink water, fix a shoe, etc. We highly recommend Machu Picchu Terra. They were very organized and their prices were also more affordable than other agencies. I’d be happy to work with them again. Thank you!!
Really good tour. The guide Day was excellent and made a good mix of perfect photos for memories and a complete history of the place, with pictures, objects and everything needed to be into the real history.
It was a great experience, from the beginning to the end the service was excellent without any hassle. The tour guide was very informative and the transfer was smooth.
The tour was great we picked circuit 2. The only thing didn’t like very much is that you’re in your way alone to take the transportation. They leave you at the bus station and then pick you up when you return. Jahdel explained everything very well
Luis was very knowledgable and told us many interesting stories about Machu Picchu, some of them hard to find anywhere else. He was really passioned about Ancient Incas and other cultures in the Andes. He also took us some amazing photos in perfect locations. On top of that Luis was very easy to speak with and very friendly and at the end of the day we went for late lunch together. We did circuit 2. Highly recommended.
First things first ... Edwin was an amazing Tour Guide! So, let's start at the beginning. The company was amazing to work with. As I was in the US, they helped me navigate the many rules of the Region. With their regular communication, I was very comfortable knowing that all things were in order for our arrival. Edwin was also very communicative. He met with us the day before we took the tour with him. He gave excellent information, and he answered all our questions. On the day of the tour, he came to our hotel and walked us over. He shared so much good information during the entire tour. We learned a great deal. It might sound like he was giving a college class, but in truth, Edwin was extremely personable and relatable. I am not sure there is anyone better.
Great way to visit Macchu Picchu. Our Tour guide was friendly and informative. Answered all our questions. The tour guide saved a spot for us online to catch the bus which saved us some time.
Amazing experience. They come to your hotel the night prior, give you itinerary, tickets, explain everything etc. then on the day everything is organised well, with responsive communication through WhatsApp. The guide at macchu Picchu Jair was also very knowledgeable and great to spend time with. Highly recommend!
Coco made this tour amazing with his knowledge and kindness. The views were spectacular!! Transportation was easy with the tours help!
Coco was the best!! We really enjoyed our time, it was really informative and Coco was extremely attentive to all our questions :) he made sure we all were informed and saw the best sites!
I had an amazing tour to Machu Picchu with Coco as our guide! He was incredibly informative, always kept us updated, and made sure we had everything we needed. His communication was excellent, and he went above and beyond to ensure we made all our trains and buses on time. Coco’s attention to detail and care for the group made the experience smooth and enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour and especially Coco as a guide—his knowledge and dedication truly enhanced the trip!
Great tour for Machu Picchu. Excellent tour guide Jahdiel. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful. Highly recommended
We had a wonderful time in Machu Picchu. Our guide, YERSIÑO, was very engaged, passionate, knowledgeable, and friendly. Highly recommended.
Franklin Abarca is a very nice guide, he is friendly, kind and knowledgeable. He is also a great photographer. He met us prior day in Aguas Calientas and picked us in the morning from our hotel.
Edwin did an excellent job explaining the culture of Incas, how they had to deal with the Spaniards and the ruins at Machu Pichu. He is Peru local & very knowledgeable about the place. I highly recommend Edwin as a tour guide 👍
Reservation of the whole Machu Picchu trip from Cusco was very complicated. Every step of the service was a la cart that I had to spend a full day studying all the options of train, bus, tour itself, and lunch. Many options that are so confusing. Multiple submission of all kind of information and copies of our passports were requested through WhatsApp. It was scary. But, once we managed to arrive at the Machu Picchu station, our guide, Edwin, was waiting for us. Without him, it would have been a chaotic experience. He explained how the bus system works and schedule will work out. He rode the bus with us, helped us through the admission process to the park, gave us a wonderful tour and took nice photos for us, and made sure our lunch reservation was in order. Without him, the experience would not have been good. Of course, the view was incredible and beautiful. But, the process needs to be integrated with one ticket system. We practically had to take a book of tickets for us to navigate through this whole trip.
We had an amazing experience with Coco as our tour guide in Machu Picchu. He was incredibly knowledgeable and shared a wealth of information throughout the tour. What really stood out was how attentive and patient he was—he met with us the day before to check on how we were adjusting to the elevation and to guide us through everything we needed to do early in the morning the next day, including getting to the bus stop and meeting him at the designated area. During the tour, he was very considerate, stopping whenever we needed a break to catch our breath due to the stairs. He also assisted in taking pictures of us whenever we wanted, which we really appreciate. His professionalism and care made the experience seamless and enjoyable. I’m very happy with Coco as our guide and would highly recommend him to anyone visiting Machu Picchu!
We did the Machu Picchu Circuit 1 tour with Coco and it was just excellent. He was very knowledgeable and very patient too. We had a great tour with him. The views were remarkable and he not only did he explain everything in details but also guided us with the best picture spots. The weather Gods were also very kind to us. Wish we had selected circuit 2 and enjoyed the city views too but maybe that’s for the next time. A big thank you to the team for the excellent service.
My hubby and I had a fabulous time. Machu Picchu is amazing! Our guide Yersiño was knowledgeable, informative, helpful and was good at explaining everything. I felt that I was back in the Inca era. Thank you for everything Yersiño, especially taking the picture where hubby and I are at two different spots in the one picture. Cheryl and Gary
DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY! I had initially booked the one day tour through their site (it allowed me to book and pay) and received an email the next day saying the tour is full and they will refund me my money. It has been 3 months, I have been not received my refund, I have been chasing this company for months they keep saying I will get my refund and I have not received it. I am out over $2,000. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!
Machu Picchu is an amazing place, however having Franklin Abarca A. as our guide for both days of our MP days made it a once in a lifetime experience. His knowledge of MP was very extensive. But it was his love and passion that really shined! We were blessed to have him as our guide!
Our guide Franklin went above and beyond every step of the way! We got way more out of our experience than we expected with a ton of facts to match! I would highly recommend booking the full day tour and definitely request Franklin!!
Yersino was our English tour guide for our hike to Machu Picchu. He is an experienced guide with 14 years of experience and very knowledgeable. The storytelling and explanation of the history behind Machu Picchu was done with photo depiction and very well articulated. He has made the climb up the sacred mountain so easy and at gradual pace and he is always looking out for his clients making sure that they are well hydrated and taking great pictures. He also speaks Quechua and you could engage him and understanding this rarely spoken language in Peru. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone !
First time visiting Machu Picchu. We had an incredible journey to the past and recent past with our guide, Luis, a very thoughtful and considerate gentleman. Only after you visit the place, you understand why it is a world wonder.
You can visit historical places by your own, imagine what happened there, how it was OR you can go with a guide, who knows about the known history, know the culture, the people who used to live there and that makes all the difference. Even more if the guide loves what he's doing and guide you with a smile in his face, like our guide Luis. Thanks Luis, to guide us and share all that knowledge with us! Best guide of the 6 guides we had though our 12 day Peru trip! Tupananchiskama!
The tour with Luis was amazing who shared a lot of interesting information along the way. We did path 1 with the inka bridge, and can highly recommend it, as it has the best views and no crowds like nr2.
great package including all the transportation needed to arrive and return from Machu Picchu. It is a really long day and good to have a guide there the whole way til you return home. We had a bilingual guide in Spanish and English. We appreciated all of the information the guide explained to us at the site. Thank you!
The guide was very very exhaustif. Hé know à lot of things and Hé explain us à lot of intéresting thing. Hé wAs very Nice and compréhensive. It was juste perfect. Thank you for all
Great tour with beautiful views. The guide was excellent and the organization was very good. Highly recommended for everyone who wants to visit Machu Picchu in a day
This guided tour of Machu Picchu was truly a memorable experience. The guide brought the ruins to life, turning what could have been just a beautiful site into an immersive journey through history and culture. His passion for the site was great, and his expertise made the tour far more enriching than it would have been if we had explored on our own. The guide was very flexible and helpful! For anyone planning to visit Machu Picchu, I highly recommend this guided tour. It’s not just about seeing the ruins; it’s about understanding their significance and experiencing the magic of the site with someone who knows it intimately. Would I recommend? Absolutely!
We had a great experience. Our guide Fredi knows absolutely evertything about the place, and that gave us the chance of asking whenever we had a doubt. The views, the place and everything was perfect.
This was such a great experience! We had our tour with Luis and he made the visit to Machu Picchu the best part of our trip. We learned so much about history, people and so many details about Machu Picchu. Luis was so kind and enthusiastic to tell us all about Machu Picchu and we left in awe! Thank you Luis for such an amazing tour and experience! Renata and Dan from Serbia
Getting to Machupicchu was definitely a trek, a beautiful trek, but one that was worth it! We had a gregarious travel guide named Franklin who made the experience entertaining and educational which I appreciated. From what I understand, they must go through years of schooling for this particular job. Franklin has such a vast library of knowledge we felt lucky to have him as our guide. He got so into the whole experience we were having that he became one of our favorite photographers. He was so gracious to take multiple pictures of us so we all could be in the scene. Franklin has such a passion, and respect for what he does. The emotion and connectedness to this area is beautiful to see.
Louis was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of amazing facts about the history of Machu Piccu he also knew every best place to take pictures. We had a great days tour.
Luis was a really cool guide and he shared so many interesting insights about the history of the Incas and Machupicchu! An experience I’ll always treasure!!
Louis was a very helpful tour guide. He explained history to us and was very knowledgeable on many different topics and aspects of the Peruvian and Inca culture. He was very patient to answer all of our questions.
The place is incredible, amazing views, great history, philosophy. The inca empire is really something impressive. Our tour guide was excelent, really passionate for the theme and for what he does, I will recommend to all the agency and the tour guide whose nickname is Coco, a wonderful guide who provide us a wonderful day at machu picchu, with much more information than what I expected. Loved it!
Matchu Picchu site is amazing. However, the trip experience to arrive to the site was quite a surprise. WC was not working on the coach. Heating was broken on the train and air conditioning too much cold at the return trip.
The tour was really well organized. On the night before, the organizer, Jahdiel, met me at my AirBnb. Jahdiel explained how the tour works and the transportation steps. Jahdiel furnished a detailed, written itinerary in English. As a result everything went well for me. The tour of Machu Picchu was beautiful and amazing. I learned a great deal about Inca civilization. I was really impressed with the construction of the buildings and the entire city. I felt like I stepped into an issue of National Geographic. A tip: Cusco is a bit chilly in July so everyone wears sweaters and jackets. Jahdiel advised me to wear light clothing to Machu Picchu because it is warm to hot there. In fact it was hot and sunny in MP and all kinds of people were carrying coats and sweaters on the tour. I recommend the train ride. It’s fun and there’s beautiful scenery. Aguas Calientes is interesting and touristy.
