Fantastic option if you want to hammer out the *Super* Sacred Valley locations all in one day. With that said, know you’re getting yourself into a filled 12-hour day. There is some downtime on the bus between places, but I think it would be too much for some people. Booking this tour is worth the money for the ease of logistics, transportation, and having a skilled experienced driver on these roads. Not to mention - The guide Joel was very passionate and knowledgeable which added so much value to the experience. Bring additional 70 PEN for sacred valley ticket + 20 PEN for salt mines + whatever souvenirs you pick up along the way + tips!! Most stores actually took card but I would have enough cash in case.

This is where the remains of the royal treasury of Túpac Inca Yupanqui are located. Admire its well preserved Inca wall in the main square and visit the beautiful colonial temple with interesting frescoes in the portico, built on the foundations of an Inca building.
Dedicated to Inca agriculture, you can observe agricultural platforms in different altitudinal levels.
The most important salt center in Peru, you will observe several salt deposits, a complete hill of salt, surprising place from where salt is extracted for all of Peru.
In this place you will have lunch in a tourist restaurant that offers buffet lunch with more than 30 varieties of typical dishes from the area of Peru.
Inca military fortress, built to protect the entrance to this part of the valley and protect it from possible invasions of the inhabitants of the jungle. We will have the opportunity to walk through the streets of the city and thus have a clear idea of how this military, religious and cultural center was during the Inca Empire.
Inca astronomical center, this wonderful place is formed by groups of platforms and architectural structures scattered on the slopes and at the top of the mountain. Pisac is one of the most beautiful monumental centers of the valley because it combines the landscape with the impeccable finish of its buildings. After visiting Pisac, we will return to the city of Cusco around 7:30 pm, the transport will leave us very close to the main square, from where you can take a taxi to your hotel or go to dinner.

Reviews
Sacred Valley tour led by Joel was incredible. He taught us so much about the history and culture of the sights. We loved the salt marsh and the Alpaca weaving demonstration. All of the ruins were incredible. Highly recommend
It seems like this tour follows the same pre prescribed tour that all of the tour guides use. As soon as we arrived somewhere, 20-30 other similar tour buses would arrive too. The archeological sites were cool, but there was a lot of time at places that were just trying to get us to buy something (salt, silver, textiles). The guide would give a few sentences and then let you walk around for 10-30 mins, but it didn't seem like I learned much more than if I had done it solo / without a guide. I would love a pure archeological tour rather than seeing too much. It was an excruciatingly long day
THIS IS NOT MEANT TO BE A BAD REVIEW. JUST A CAUTIONARY STORY: I did not go on this tour. Despite having a ticket and a reservation ID, the tour guides from the Machu Picchu Tour Company told me they did not have my reservation and would not take me on the tour, so I did not go. I think a lack of communication between Viator and the tour company might have happened. Everyone else around me who was picked up from the tour seemed to get their tickets from Get Your Guide. And when I messaged the tour company in charge of my chosen excursion, they contacted me and said I was at fault for not confirming anything with Booking.com, even though I stated that I booked through Viator. It was ridiculous. I give three stars because the company booked me on a last-minute basic tour of Sacred Valley, but it was not what I paid for. NOTE: Yes, I recommend booking the tour itself, (but maybe not through Viator, after what happened to me)
Arnold was the best. He spoke very clear English and was truly one of the most up beat guides I have ever had. I felt so safe on this tour and the sites were so amazing.
If you’re looking for a quick experience to all these places. Then this is the trip for you. Beware you spend only 30 minutes at each site. I wish I had more clarity on this trip because I would have book a trip that included fewer sites but more information and a tour of the site. We got to Pisacq and were told one fact and then told to wander off in our own and meet back. That really wasn’t the tour for us.
I waited for an hour outside so cold no one show up to pick me up. I called no one pick up phone either.
The tour overall was very good except for when they add in extra stops that are just to try to make you spend money. When you’ve been out for 15 hours the last thing you want to visit is another jewelry store for them to try to hustle you.
The tour guide was very knowledgeable on this tour, and the driver was able to take us to all of the impressive Inca sites in a timely manner without rushing the tour group too much. The guide was also a good photographer. The buffet lunch was also good and had a wide range of options. Note: this is not the fault of this tour organizer, but I recommend bringing toilet paper, because the bathrooms at the Inca sites themselves did not have any available to visitors.
While the archaeological sites were interesting and worth seeing, we were disappointed with the tour guide. Much of the information seemed to be read directly from a book, and the overall experience lacked the depth and engagement we were hoping for. This tour is also very strict on timing, which makes for a long day, especially with the additional stops included alongside the Sacred Valley sites. Many of these extra stops felt more like sales presentations than cultural experiences. The guide strongly suggested that these were the best, and sometimes only, places to purchase certain items. As a result, I later realized I had significantly overpaid for items such as salt, chocolate, and baby alpaca textiles. The lunch was acceptable, but families with picky eaters may want to bring snacks to supplement the meal. Overall, the Sacred Valley is beautiful and worth visiting, but I would have preferred a tour that focused more on the history and culture and less on shopping opportunities.
I had an excellent Sacred Valley tour that was very well organised from start to finish. The guide was extremely knowledgeable, well-prepared, and provided detailed explanations throughout the day, helping us understand the history, culture, and significance of each site we visited. A mention also goes to the driver, who was professional and reliable throughout the journey, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy the day. The itinerary is definitely intense, with a lot to see and do in a single day, but if you are short on time, this is the perfect way to experience the highlights of the Sacred Valley. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comprehensive and well-run Sacred Valley experience.
The tour guide (Arnold) was incredibly knowledgable, helpful, and charismatic. Transportation was as comfortable as is possible and the views were breathtaking.
This tour is well organized and hits all the major sacred valley highlights. It would be impossible to fit in any more. Despite packing so much in it didn’t feel rushed. The guide Arnold was very knowledgeable and friendly. The driver was great. My only criticism is I would cut the “silver workshop” at the end.
This is a very comprehensive tour but it feels TOO long to be enjoyable. We were picked up at 6:30am and dropped back at 7:30pm. In some of the best sites (in my opinion, Ollantaytambo and Pisac) you feel rushed only having 25-45 mins to explore. They could make it shorter by cutting out the stops at the touristy shops near the salt mines and Pisac. I give credit to the driver and guide who got us around quickly and safely and were knowledgeable about the sites.
Arnold was friendly, informative and a very knowledgeable guide. He made the full day experience so fun. It’s a long day but action packed. If you are into learning about the Sacred Valley this tour is for you. Ask for Arnold. Our driver was awesome too!’
Great guide, knowledgeable and helpful, made everything clear. A lot of activities packed into one day, definitely worth it.
Arnold was a great guide. Knew going in that we were doing a lot in one day, but still, it would have been nice to spend less time shopping and get more free time to explore the archaeological sites. The lunch buffet was excellent.
It was a jam-packed day with 8 stops. The trip was great, and I saw most of the Inca places I wanted to see in one day. Only comment is that it would have been nice to have another 30 minutes at Sacred Valley, otherwise I have nothing to complain. Highly recommended. The tour guide Abel was awesome.
This was a very long day of travel in a van. The sites were spectacular! The buffet lunch was really nice.
4 sacred site stops wonderful. 3 additional shopping stops unnecesary and ate into the time allowed at the other 4 stops which were rushed.
Our tour guide was professional, patient, and knowledgeable about all the sites we visited. Me and my family really enjoyed the tour.
Jhon was a great guide who was very passionate about Peruvian culture and cuisine. Learnt a lot with him as he took us around, the Ceviche was a highlight! Highly recommended experience!
Excellent tour very inexpensive. Very good tour guide with excellent knowledge of all the sights we visited. Also the driver was 1 of the best.
I booked and paid for this full-day tour through Viator. After the payment was completed, the operator contacted me to ask whether I was Peruvian or foreign. When I confirmed that I am Peruvian, they told me they do not provide the service to Peruvians and asked me to cancel the tour myself. This information was never stated in the tour description before booking. Being refused after payment, based on nationality, and being pushed to cancel was very unprofessional and confusing. I had no choice but to cancel the tour. I would not recommend this operator due to lack of transparency and poor handling of reservations.
Great trip! AJ was a great guide. It’s a long day but fits everything in if you’re limited with time. Lunch was plentiful, drinks weren’t included.
Just a great tour! Visited all the planned places and really enjoyed every stop. Pros: Well organized. The guide is just amazing! He gave all the information and spent each and every minute with us. He made it on 100%. He managed the entire program very professionally. Dinner was good. Cons: Had 3 stops at shops that were not part of the original program. First: Alpaca wool production was nice and interesting. The remaining two: salt shop and silver shop - sorry but this is wast of time.
The Sacred Valley trip was absolutely worth it. There was so much to see, and the lunch buffet was incredibly rich. I decided to stay only in the Sacred Valley this time instead of going to Machu Picchu, because it truly deserves it.
This was a fast-paced but very well-organized tour. Our tour guide was amazing—he stayed with us the entire day, was extremely knowledgeable, and helped us with everything we needed. His explanations and guidance made the experience much more meaningful. The only negative aspect was the transportation. We were packed into a small bus with very tight seating. The seats were hard and uncomfortable, and spending the entire day in such cramped space made the journey difficult. It felt crowded and not suitable for a full-day tour. Aside from the transportation issue, it was a great day overall and we really enjoyed the tour.
Our guide was very informative, this is a very much a speed run tour, made me wish to come back and stay in some of these towns for longer. If you want to dip your feet into Peru history, this is an amazing way to start off your trip, and hopefully help you snowball to more ideas. I would start my trip off with this, so I can see the main points of the area, and come back around for longer stays in towns around Cusco
Very full day, but a good way to get a snapshot of the sacred valley in a short period of time. Highlights were the salt mines, moray, Ollentaytambo & Pisac
Full on day with lots to see . Quite tiring but well worth it I would have preferred to spend more time in Pisac than the sun temple and I though pisac much more interesting. Lunch for me was not good as there was no main course vegetarian options.
It’s a very long day but extremely informative. The tour guide did a great job speaking in both Spanish and English. He was also very informative and answered all questions at all archeological sights!
This trip guided by Raul was very special. He took us to all this places on the sacred valley. He was very knowledgeable, attentive and patient. He brought us for lunch at this beautiful restaurant you would never find by yourself. The whole day was amazing. I highly recommend the trip. Thank you ❤️
a long day with so much thing to see historical landscape and salt making that provide for the city.
The tour operator is professional and on time. Driver is good. AJ the tour guide is professional and knowledgeable.
This tour consists of multiple things to do and see along with a tour guide that has answers to questions related to the various places we visited, very friendly guide and helpful.
AJ/Abel was a great guide, super informative and attentive to the schedule. It’s a long day, but super worth it!
Ou guide Able was great and explained the Inca culture well. The buffet lunch that was offered was an huge spread and especially enjoyed the Ceviche.
Sacred Valley was an eye opening experience and a cool look into the ways of the Incan’s lives and culture.
Our driver was Orlando and the tour guide was Abel - both were great! Patient and informative. If you want to spend a lot of time at each location, then book a different tour. This tour gives you just enough time to complete the attractions listed in about 12 hours. The only suggestion we have for the tour company - maybe look at a different lunch spot.
This is a highly recommended and comprehensive excursion for touring Cusco, Peru. My wife and I really enjoyed their trip on July 23, 2025.
This was worth the money! You should definitely get this tour. We visited a lot of places and got some good information on each places that we visited. Buffet lunch was so amazing, tons of options and very delicious. My partner went crazy for the unlimited ceviche.😂
Abel was an excellent guide! He provided knowledgeable commentary at every stop and kept the tour group on time. We were able to visit highlights of the sacred valley with a nice buffet lunch. I highly recommend!
It's a compact tour with 5 main attractions, and 4 stops for traditional stores / workshop. Our guide was amazing, with competent knowledge of Inca history and a doze of good humor. It was a superb experience for us. We are grateful that we took this tour.
The total experience was just OK. The tour did not offer bottled water like the other tours. The guide didn't offer to take photos for the tourist like other guides have did on the other tours I did. A lot of the times. It was hard to keep up with the guide because he walks so fast and left everyone behind. The last part of the tour. The driver drove like a maniac through windy and bumpy roads so we could make it to the last stop. Several of us who were sitting in the back of the bus suffered bad stomach issues because of the crazy driving . I literally was bouncing off my seat. I was not impressed with this agency, so I will not use them again.
Covers a lot of ground, but feels rushed. You’ll be in and out of national monuments in 30 minutes or less. Would have preferred a version that didn’t stop at 4 different tourist trap shops, but - dome people like shopping I guess. Our guide was great, and delivered a polished narrative in both English and Spanish.
A whole day full of amazing experiences and places to visit. I couldn’t believe we did so much in one day. Must do when you are in Peru. Highly recommended
This has been one of the most complete, informative, and entertaining tours I have done so far. We did so much in one day I was just amazed. I was really very impressed. We got to see so many places y local activities that I wasn’t expecting and I am very happy we did. I just can’t believe we did everything in one day. And got so many pictures of all these places. Very well organized.
For one day tour it was great. We visited a few cities like Ollantaytambo, Maras to visit Salt Mines, eating a delicious lunch in a very big restaurant in Urubamba, and the city of Pisac. All roads to the cities were very beautiful with mountains and valleys.
Victor was an amazing guide! He is truly bilingual and explained everything in both English and Spanish perfectly. He was funny, knowledgeable, and has experience as a member of the community. If you do not have time for a multiple day tour, this is a great way to see everything quicky. I would recommend this tour to family and friends!
