Essential Machu Picchu Full Day Tour

This was a wonderful experience. Every detail was taken care of for my day long tour of Machu Picchu from Cusco. My guide, Carlos (at the site) could not have been better. He provided thorough information about the culture and architectural sites and even helped me navigate some tricky steps. As a solo traveler internationally for the 1st time, I appreciated the advance briefing and other communication.

Especially I want to point out Karen! The planning and conversations were easy and everything went well! Moreover! My guide Gerky at Machu Picchu was excellent! He was one of the best guides I had in South Amerika for the last 2,5 months. We used the services of RAP Travel and they were fantastic from start to finish. They picked up my large team of 16 people from the Cusco airport and assisted us with all our travel needs. From taking us 3 hours south to Tinta for 3 days to an all day excursion to Machu Picchu, to a wonderful hotel stay at Saska Boutique in Cusco and then back to the airport after 5 days. Each portion of the trip was well coordinated and easy to understand. Carlos and Moises were wonderful tour guides. The lunch they arranged was delicious! Our tour guide Ruth at Machu Picchu was so informative. Don’t try this alone; too many moving pieces.

Booking a trip to Machu Picchu at the last minute like I did is fairly complicated, involving multiple modes of transportation and waiting in line for tickets the day before, but Jose angel and his team guided me every step of the way. They picked me up at the airport, drove me to the train station in Ollantaytambo, arranged train and bus tickets, booked a hotel in Aguas Calientes, walked me through the Machu Picchu ticket process and arranged a private guide on the morning of my visit to the site. I would not have known where to start had I been on my own, but RAP Travel's expertise was invaluable and the whole process was seamless. Highly recommended, they made the entire experience stress-free!

RapTravel. This tour was absolutely amazing! Starting off with our two tour guides who were incredibly kind and helpful in many ways. Even nice enough to take pictures for us too! They also knew perfect spots to go to: Killa Suma, Inca Moray, and Maras Salt, with little stop shops to help the community. Our tour guide Carlos was very informative of the culture and history, so we learned a lot. Once we reached our destination the train station to Machu Picchu, Carlos made it unforgettable by hyping the locals who were dressed in traditional clothing to take our picture. An unforgettable experience, I know I will be booking with them again the next time I come!

The tour to Machu Picchu was fantastic! Great tour guide, good time of day to travel, very knowledgeable in the history of Machu Picchu! I would highly recommend! Don’t forget to bring good hiking shoes, lots of water, and wear layers for the changing hot and cold temperatures. I also learned about a coffee farm very close to Machu Picchu called Machu Picchu Coffee! We were able to purchase it at our hotel!

We absolutely loved using their services to visit Machu Picchu from Cusco. They took care of everything. Getting us to Ollantaytambo where we took the train to Machu Picchu town and our entrance to Macchu Picchu that included the bus ride up and down. It also included two stops for lunch on the way there and right after our Machu Picchu visit. A quick stop to see valle sagrado and get some pictures with llamas. It was such a pleasant experience. When you're on a different country, leave it up to the professionals. I can't recommend them enough!

We had ana amazing time and everything went so smoothly. So thankful for Rap Travel handling it all.

Be aware that this is not a group excursion. They pick you up at the hotel, then you are taken care of by the railway company. Then by an assistant to transfer you to the bus, and then the guide at the site. Afterward, you are on your own to go back down and take the train back. For people who want a real excursion, this is not for you. Despite decent organization, the price is very high because the train is the cheapest... a bit disappointed by the route, especially if you are on the wrong side.

We were a group of four friends, two Peruvians and two Puerto Ricans; we did the City tour, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Pallay Punchu, and Rainbow Mountain (Vinincunca). They were days of very nice experiences, beautiful culture, and stunning landscapes. Our guide was Noé, and he helped us a lot by telling us more about the history of Cusco, recommending places and typical dishes, and taking very nice photos of us. We are more than grateful for your service; we will undoubtedly recommend it to our friends and family who wish to visit Cusco.

Very good agency Rap travel is always on the lookout for its tourists, we did some tours with them both in Arequipa and Cusco and in the shrine of machupicchu. They took care of all transport, Friday and guides in addition to Transfer from the hotel to the airport and vice versa. I recommend this agency as they have always been professional and correct with the tours they have organized me.

The service of the agency is great, I thank especially Luiz who offered support and care whenever I needed, removing all the doubts and sharing many tips! I did the tour of the CITY tour, Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu, were three excellent days!!! I could appreciate and know a lot about the local culture, which rich!
