I had a lovely time with Walter! He was prompt, professional, and spoke excellent English. I learned a great deal from him at each site. I am old and slow and he was very accommodating and patient with me. I left the tour with a much better u distant g of Cusco, the city and its amazing history. Thank you so much for a lovely afternoon!

An easy start to Cusco, getting to see a lot quickly and without too much walking which isn’t that easy when you step off the plane at that altitude. Good for acclimating while seeing sights.
Tour guide: Knowledgeable about various sites. Can answer any question you may have. They do not rush you, allow time to truly visit the spots you want to see. If you want to see these 4 sites, this is the tour to book! Or else have fun walking up and down the hills! We also enjoyed our Super Driver!
Hit 4 good spots in the nearby mountains. Toured ancient areas with great tour operator and very knowledgeable
Nce tour. Guide and driver were very nice and caring. I expected more city info, but focus was only on the 4 historical sites. Nothing about Plaza des Armes, etc. In fact, the Viator listing said something about the Cathedral (admission not included) but we didn't go there or discuss it. Also, it was nice to see alpacas and llamas at our last stop, but I didn't need a bunch of time for hard selling by the staff at the shop there.
I booked this experience for myself and my friends because we wanted to fill some time. It was well worth it. Our group ended up being super small and we were able to take our time moving through the ruins. It was informative and worth it
The guide was very knowledgeable and had water and umbrella in the van. The driver was extremely careful in his driving. Overall they were a great team and made the experience memorable.
We bought the general tourist tickets the day before and this was an excellent tour to accompany it. Took us to all the major spots outside of the city with an excellent and knowledgeable guide.
Excellent tour. Many beautiful and interesting sites. The guide was the best. I misunderstood the instructions to meet them and the guide called and picked us up at our hotel. The instructions were confusing. Peru is awesome.
This was a really great tour of some historic sites. Our guide, Jose, was very knowledgeable and our driver was the best!
Excellent tour, great explanations and insight. Completes the picture of the Inca society and Inca trail. comfortable sprinter van, wonderful driver, fabulous guide. Easy central meeting place
Excellent company. Good communications. Good service. Provided water. Had a stool for getting in and out of van. Had medical equipment. Knowledgeable guide
The tour was really well run. Our guide, Jesse, was knowledgeable, funny, and patient. They provided water for us, and the van and driver, John, were excellent. We had plenty of solo time at the sites for pictures and exploration. And the visit to the alpacas and llamas was a great finale. I would highly recommend this tour.
Absolutely fantastic guide (John) and a very informative half day trip. Pick up was easy, the drive was comfortable and the free waters a bonus. Cannot recommend this tour enough!
I recently took the Cusco City Tour, and it happened to be a private tour since I was the only participant in that time slot. Even without a group, the guide Jose and the driver Alex performed their jobs with utmost dedication and professionalism. Jose was an exceptional guide—knowledgeable, engaging, and eager to share the rich history of the ruins while also taking the time to snap wonderful photos of me along the way. The driver, Alex, was also very professional. He drove safely, was consistently courteous, kept my belongings secure in the van, and opened the door for me at every stop. From the historic ruins to the final stop at Qorikancha, everything was seamless and well-paced. Highly recommend this tour to get to know the soul of this beautiful city !
Very fun! Great to have a guide and driver. Plus we had time to visit an additional ruins! Great option to start or end your time in Cusco!
A visit to the ruins above the city of Cuzco. The title is somewhat misleading and had made me think this would also include the city centre, which we did not visit. The ruins are exceptional sites, and worth visiting of course, but the explanations felt slightly generic - though perhaps my visit was also slowed doing by other tour visitors being quite burdened by altitude sickness. Be careful - this tour already pushes you up to 3900m elevation and is perhaps best after a couple days in Cuzco city
I definitely recommend this tour. I liked that I got to see a lot of ruins in a short period of time. It was a good activity to do while I was still adjusting to the altitude and because it didn’t take all day I had time to rest before going on a 12+ hour tour the next day.
tito was our guide! they were so prepared! we got waters abd umbrella for the tour which made the whole experiencd super comfortable!
We took this tour out of Cusco with our super guide Tito ( aka David) and his super driver and he also referred to us as the super group. You can tell he was entertaining and energetic! We saw several ruins listed in the tour as well as some Llama and Alpacas. Yes there was a shop that that followed. It was very useful information presented about the quality of wool items and the way some products were not pure alpaca. It used the tips in every shop. We bought a few items . The tour then returned you to the starting point. Tito did a fabulous job looking out for everyone and pacing the morning. Bring your own snack if you need to eat and they provide free water bottles.
We enjoyed our tour Our guide was very informative and knowledgeable. The only comment I wanted to add that the tour is mostly outside of Cusco. We learned a lot about Inkas culture and history. We visited a lot of ruines and sacred places. You don't get to see the historical Spanish colonial architecture.
Just consider that you're gonna have to buy a 70 soles ticket to enter the different locations and also try not to do it the first day, acclimate yourself first
Wonderful way to learn more about Cusco and the surrounding area. Lovely tour, would definitely recommend!
The guide’s English was spoken too fast and with his ability to speak English properly made understanding him difficult.
A good tour of the Inca Ruins. A lot of walking involved. Tour guide Jose was very knowledgeable and gave us a very good narration on the Inca history
Excellent guide and driver Informative details and response to questions provided
This tour was wonderful! Our guide was very knowledgeable and incredibly kind, and he went out of his way to ensure we could learn as much as we wanted and spend extra time exploring the sites whenever possible. I really appreciated how much history he provided throughout the tour, which made the Inca ruins feel even more meaningful. I would definitely recommend this experience.
This was easy, informational, and the guide was great!. I recommend the tout. It is not expensive and you definitely get more than you pay for
Great to learn the history guide was very detailed and knowledgeable. The sites were very interesting and amazing
Excellent. Had a wonderful time learning about the history of Peru. The visit to the Alpaca farm was the highlight for me
It is a great experience. You get to explore some of the ruins near Cusco, some of which are really impressive.
Really good tour. You’re picked up in the main square and driven to the different sites. Where you get a good walk around and the history of them
I hate writing bad reviews, but I was disappointed in this tour. We didn’t get to all of the sites listed and in hindsight, some of this felt like a grift. First, while it lists hotel pickup, that wasn’t offered. Instead I got a couple of panicked calls 20 minutes before the tour asking where I was and indicating people were waiting on me. Another person mentioned getting the same call, despite then being the first to arrive. I was told 1:20 for a 1:30 tour and I was there exactly when asked. Don’t make me feel late and bad for not meeting an expectation that wasn’t set. We then proceeded to head out of the city center instead of going to Qorikancha first per the itinerary. By the time we got back, it was already closed. Our guide tried to play it off as they must have closed early due to celebrations, but the hours were clearly listed on the door and we were there after closing. As we had approached the site, he said we’d be saying goodbye to our driver. I asked how we were to get back and he said he’d show us how to walk to the square. We did get a ride back, but only because the driver hadn’t left yet when we saw the site was closed. Other parts felt like a grift. He was using a book to talk about the history, only to find the author selling it at the exit and our guide promoted the book. I’d also recommend not purchasing anything at the alpaca farm. They have a good story about it being a collective and gave us a talk about how to tell if it’s real or fake and scared us with how most we find is from China despite the tags. I have no doubt it was real, but I saw the exact same products for over $50 USD less in town. Unsurprisingly, our guide disappeared while we were given time to browse. I wish he had informed us we’d miss our last site as a result and managed the time better. Overall, I guess you get what you pay for. Our guide was pleasant, but I felt this tour was misrepresented with the pickup/drop off and not getting to all of the sites listed.
The tour started at Qorikancha. A good introduction to what comes next in the tour. Our guide Yesy was knowledgeable and I learned new things about the Incas especially their techniques in engineering. Our driver Christian was very nice and drove us safely to and from out destination. I highly recommend this tour especially if you are looking for a tour with smaller groups.
It was a pleasant half day trip. It was interesting to hear about Cuzco’s history and our guide was friendly. My only criticism is that as a half day tour, it is expensive compared to other tours which can be 12+ hours and often include both breakfast and lunch. With this tour, the entry tickets also were not included.
Very professional reaching out in advance to coordinate meeting spot. Did a great job pacing the group despite a member succumbing to altitude sickness. Overall great choice to start your stay in Cusco!
I highly recommend this city tour! He shared so much knowledge with us, we were so impressed by the information we learned as well as the organization of the tour overall. The meeting place was clear, and our driver was also very attentive.
Our tour was with Walter. He was great and the tour was great. We learned a lot and felt safe the whole time.
They picked us up at our hotel, gave us water, and toilet paper for bathroom. Christian our driver, kept our stuff safe in the van while on tour, and drove us around safely all day. Tour was interesting and very informative with lots of great photo ops. We got to feed and kiss llama, alpacas and vicuña.. I didn’t catch our guides name but he was great!
walter was our tour guide, he gave all the information about the 4 ruins that' we went, him & his driver alway pull out the step in the van for easy in & out of the vehicle
Excellent tour, efficient and our guide was very knowledgeable, small group which was great and very memorable
Excellent tour with breath taking views. Wealth of history. Very knowledgeable tour guide. Pick up on-time in a clean, comfortable bus.
Excellent tour! Our tour guide, Jose, did a magnificent job of providing history and context at each of the sights. We took an English tour. They provided water (and at one point, umbrellas). I would have never understood the depth of the Inca culture and traditions without his education and the excellent book of illustrations he used to complete the time into an understandable landscape. Thanks Jose!
We had a great time on the tour. The tour guide was great and he was very patient with my mom. She has a hard time walking. He made her feel good while he was in the tour.
Jose was great! Knowledgeable and provided context to the sites we visited. We had a private transport for our group which was great and the driver had plenty of water available for us during the tour and kept cleaning the car each time we stepped out.
Great tour experience. Very knowledgeable and very hospitable. The views and experience was spectacular.
Jose the guide was excellent, knowledgeable, kind. Alex was an excellent driver. The trip was full of great knowledge, camaraderie and culture.
Our guide was exceptional. He led us with all tours and kept us informed of the schedule as well as the history. Best of all he steered us away from cheap souvenirs and led us to the real stuff.
Walter was an excellent tour guide and the same can be said if Mr. Charles's driving. The tour was well paced and informative without being overwhelming.
Great half Day tour, perfecto introducción of inca history
