We will pick you up from your hotel around 4:30 am and drive south from Cusco city. The trip will take 2 hours to the community of Cusipata where we will have our breakfast to fill with energy, then continue for 1 hour. further up to (Pulawasipata) approximately 4,600 msnm where we will begin our trek along an easily accessible path for approximately 1h30 and reach the magical Mountain of Colors where we will enjoy magical landscapes such as snowy mountains, small lakes and local fauna such as mud. located at approximately 5,036 msnm. After enjoying the wonder that our mother nature presents us, we will return by the same route, where our transportation awaits us, which will take us in 45 minutes to the place where we will have lunch. Later we will return to Cusco, we will arrive around 4:30 pm.
I’m absolutely happy with the services i was given by Exploring Peru Tours, I planned my tours with them almost two months in advance and Phersi, My tour guide, was always available and getting back to me so quickly to plan everything. Great experience we liked Jefferson our tour guide!! But we had no idea how long of a walk up a steep mountain it was; no joke!!!! Many people had headaches 17,100 feet high is serious. Prepárate bien y trae bloqueador y pastillas para dolor de cabeza y una grande botella de agua o dos botellas.
Overall, the experience with Exploring Peru Tours was very good. The highlight of the entire tour schedule was the trip to Machu Picchu with the guide Julius. He knows a lot, answered all our questions, and was the main piece for the whole experience to be worth it. As a suggestion: a little more organization in the passing of previous information about the tours, perhaps a spreadsheet with what to bring on each tour. But apart from that, the experience was great, I recommend it to everyone!

It was the best agency in our travel history. From the first contact, Mr. Julius proved to be patient and attentive in solving all our doubts, always focused on providing us with the best possible experience. We spent 7 days in Cusco (the agency created our itinerary for this stay, and it exceeded our expectations), we did all the tours with Exploring Peru Tour, and it was the best decision we made, because the agency took care of everything for us (everything), we didn't need to worry about anything, just wake up on time and get on the Van/car that was always on time to take us to the tours. Departure from the hotel 4:00am (order at the reception a box breakfast box). Stop for simple breakfast. Arriving in the mountains, there is a bathroom (2 soils), a small Saude Post and shops. Climbing by ground beaten and very cold. 1st flat stop for photos and who can, can go up a little more to 2nd flat stop that has lamas (the $$$ contribution is optional). There's a plate for the panoramic photo. The guide offered us fragrance Jona to help in altitude. Return with lunch stop at the same place as breakfast.
The visit to colorful mountain, or actually mountain winikunka, our guide roberto was sensational, with a lot of very relevant information about the place as the correct name of the mountain among other curiosities, was really an excellent passei, our driver wilbert tb was sensational and drives super well

It was an amazing experience to see the Vinicunca mountain and, behind it, the snowy Andes mountain range. It was very exciting, we really liked it. The route is of intermediate level, as it is not as steep as the Laguna Humantay, but the altitude is greater and, with this, the air becomes rarefied, which makes the climb tired. You have to go very slowly, because you get too tired, and the main thing is to be more acclimatized with the altitude, leave this ride to the end. It is important to bring cold clothes as the above is very cold. We in Brazil have suffered a little. But there are other options to climb, like motorcycles and quad bikes, which help those who can't climb.
