The four-day tour was absolutely life-changing! Carlos was an incredible guide—knowledgeable, patient, and fun—and the cooks amazed me with gourmet-style vegan meals made with no electricity, keeping me well-nourished and hydrated throughout. While there were a few small miscommunications about showers, electricity, baggage fees, and my separate train back on a different train from the group, it only slightly took away from the overall experience. I highly recommend this tour for the breathtaking views, meaningful connections, and truly exceptional food—it’s an adventure I’ll never forget!

Itinerary
Day 1
1
A day earlier we will gather the group to meet and make a briefing of what the Inca Trail will look like. On Day 1 we will pick you up from the door of your hotel in Cusco. Then we will board our tourist transport to the starting point of the hike, near the village of Ollantaytambo in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Accompanied by the tour guide, we will advance the first section of the Inca Trail, which is a little difficult since it is on the ascent for approximately 13 kilometers. From the top we will appreciate the archaeological site of Llactapata. In our camp we will stop for a delicious lunch. Then we will continue the route until we stop at our first camp where we will have dinner and spend the night. The camps, chosen according to availability, are Ayapata, Wayllabamba, Llaqtapata or Llulluchapampa.
Day 2
2
In the morning we will taste a nutritious breakfast and then continue along the route of 11 kilometers winding high mountains. In this section we will cross the Warmiwañusca open, the highest point of the entire Inca Trail at 4,215 meters above sea level (13,828 ft). After an intense hike, in the afternoon we will stop at our shift camp where we will have lunch. Finally, depending on the camp chosen for the second night, we will walk a few more kilometers or stop at the same lunch site. The camps available are: Chaquiccocha, Pacaymayo, Llulluchapampa or Phuyupatamarca.
Day 3
3
On the 3rd we will wake up early to taste our breakfast and get ready for the walk. Because it is almost totally on the descent (about 16 kilometers), it is one of the easiest days and surrounded by incredible landscapes of abundant vegetation. During the route we will visit the Inca archaeological site of Sayacmarca. We can also visit the archaeological site of Phuyupatamarca, depending on the availability of time. Then we will continue with the route until we stop for lunch. Then we will continue with the walk until we arrive at our designated camp for that day where dinner will already be served. The camps available for that day are: Phuyupatamarca, Wiñayhuayna or Ruins Bridge.
Day 4
4
On the last day we will get up early to have a nutritious box lunch as we must start descending very early. Thus, we will reach Machu Picchu through the Puerta del Sol. Hopefully we can see the sunrise in the Inca city, one of the best experiences you can have.
We will descend to the Machu Picchu archaeological site in the company of our tour guide who will explain every detail of the famous citadel. After getting to know every corner of Machu Picchu we will leave the archaeological site to take one of the buses that will take us to the village of Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu village) where we will enjoy lunch (not included in tour) and have free time to shop or know the place better. Finally, at the scheduled time, we will board our tourist train to head to the town of Ollantaytambo and then by tourist transport to the city of Cusco where the tour ends.

(4 day 3 night Inka Trail excursión) Wow… what an incredible experience. The Inka Trail was 4 days full of wonder, history, beautiful views, and amazing times with incredible people. The food and service was outstanding as well. Our guide’s Raul and Paulino were amazing humans with vast knowledge and personalities. I enjoyed our group and the people as much as the beautiful views. The sacred valley is truly an incredible place and I will definitely be back for more. Very grateful for this experience & highly recommend.
I recommend this tour to all the people who want to reconnect with nature and get in touch with our past! The team I had was excellent!! Thanks
Very professional and reliable staff. Attention to every single detail in all phases of the Inca Trail. Excellent organization.
Hello! We would like to sincerely thank you for all the excellent service we received during our trip to Cusco. The tours to the 7 Colors Mountain and Humantay Lagoon were very well organized and provided unforgettable experiences. Every detail was conducted with professionalism, punctuality and attention to visitors. We also want to highlight the amazing 4-day tour of the Inca Selva, which exceeded all our expectations. It was a remarkable experience, full of stunning landscapes, history, adventure and special moments. A special thanks to our guide *JULIAN*, who made all the difference on this journey. His dedication, knowledge, sympathy and care with us have turned the tour into a truly extraordinary experience. At all times, he was attentive to our needs, sharing valuable information and ensuring that we took the best advantage of each step of the journey. Congratulations to the entire team for the excellent work. We will bring with us amazing memories of Cusco and recommend your services with total confidence. Thank you for everything! Erik Fernandes de Brito and Pamela R. G. de Brito
It was a super beautiful experience. Unforgettable. Everything was very organized. I really enjoyed the guide Giancarlo Flores. It was very good. The porters and the cook were very kind, and the food was excellent. I will definitely repeat another experience with you all. Thank you very much.
Walking the Inca Trail with my children was much more than a trip. It was a magical, profound and unforgettable experience that we will keep forever in our hearts. These were challenging days, with a lot of physical effort, but also of connection with nature, with history and with a very special energy that Peru has and particularly the Inca Trail. Every step had some adventure, learning and also shared excitement with my children. The company absolutely fulfilled everything they had promised us. The organization was impeccable from the beginning. But what really made the difference was the human quality of the whole team. The porters were amazing: always attentive, friendly, with a smile and admirable energy. Their work and dedication deserve our full respect and thanks. And a very special thanks to our guide Freddy, who was simply excellent. With an enormous passion for what he does, he passed on a lot of knowledge about Andean culture, history and worldview. Thanks to him, the road was not only a walk, but a true learning and connection experience. We return with a heart full of memories, with deep gratitude and with the feeling of having lived something unique as a family. Thank you for joining us on this special adventure.
The porters and the guide (Luis Echaiz) were spectacular, not only friendly but pending every detail along the way. The agency leaves much to be desired. They fail in terms of clear and timely communication as well as tracking tourists. Our return coincided with the train crash so taking the train was horrible and only the guide was concerned to write to us to find out if we reached the destination.
The guide and the luxury porters. The bad rating is only for the agency that worked without caring about its clients. He did not give us information in time on anything of the tour but a pdf with basic information. A day earlier already being in lime (being from Ecuador) just gives our contact to the guide who can help us who was excellent. There was no communication from the agency even though they were contacted repeatedly. There was a crash on the machupicchu train which caused absolute chaos, and the agency did not have the slightest intention of coordinating our transport once it reached Cusco. We weren't followed up at any point.
Beautiful experience. Thanks to Luis for his passion and expertise in telling us about the Inca, Peruvian culture and nature that surrounded us. He was also very nice and considerate towards us. A warm and heartfelt thanks to the whole team of porters. Congratulations to the chef for the imagination and quality of the dishes. Greetings from Gianna, Michele and Giacomo!
A unique and unforgettable experience thanks to the team that accompanied us. Starting with our guide Henry, followed by the cook Juan de Dios who prepared delicious and different dishes every day, and with magnificent porters. They were instrumental in making the 4-day Inca Trail an incredible adventure. Thank you all and keep going
Excellent experience on the classic Inca Trail (4 days/3 nights) with Machu Picchu Terra. We hired the private tour for a group of 4 people and the result has exceeded our expectations. Fredi has been an extraordinary guide and the whole team (cook, porters) has given us an unforgettable experience. Perfect combination of trekking, culture, archaeology, nature and landscape. And a serious, professional and attentive service to our needs. Fully recommended.
The experience was wonderful and very hard but it was worth the effort when we arrived at Machu Picchu. It's definitely my favorite wonder of the world. This experience would not have been possible without the help of our guide Luis Hernandez from Machu Picchu Terra. Your patience help is remarkable. We almost abandoned the experience twice and he had the patience and the right words to move forward. Besides their explanations and knowledge from whom we learned a lot. Special mention should be made of the team of porters who make a great effort and work to be able to give us the necessary support by carrying all the equipment to camp and receive us with breakfast lunch snack and dinner. We highlight the delicious food cook Fabian prepared for us and the rich farewell cake. We are extremely grateful to the whole team and especially to Luis.
Exciting tour with our Guide Fredi, very prepared and attentive to our needs, also the porters and our very helpful cooks. Recommended for those interested. Congratulations to Fredi and the staff.
Excellent Guide Fredi made us spend 4 beautiful days very attentive and scrupulous person and very prepared and professional. Very good also the carriers and the whole organization exceptional cooks. So we could enjoy the Inca walk in the best way
The experience with the agency was very good. Guide Ronny was very good. The excellent INCA road carriers. The infrastructure and attention to the toilets of the INCA road is regrettable. I think that's the responsibility of the Peruvian state.
