Ernest was a great tour guide, super friendly and flexible. Helpful and detailed with his tour and explanation. Took a lot of nice pic for our family.

Itinerary
Our team will pick you up at your accommodation to begin the adventure to the 7 Lakes of Ausangate. We recommend being ready at the indicated time and wearing appropriate clothing for cold weather, as the tour takes place in a high-mountain area. The journey from Cusco to Pacchanta takes approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes. Along the way, you’ll be able to enjoy the sunrise and the Andean landscapes surrounding the route. Upon arrival in Pacchanta, we’ll stop for breakfast. This will be an important opportunity to have a good meal, regain your energy, and prepare for the start of the hike.
After breakfast, we’ll begin hiking through the Vilcanota Mountain Range toward the 7 Lakes of Ausangate. During approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes of hiking, you’ll cross different high-mountain landscapes and visit Pucacocha, Patococha, Alcacocha, Comercocha, Orco Otorongo, China Otorongo, and Azul Cocha, each with its own characteristics and colors. Along the route, you’ll also be able to see Ausangate Mountain, which reaches 6,384 meters above sea level (20,944 ft), as well as the mountains and natural formations surrounding this area. After visiting the seven lakes, we’ll begin the return hike to Pacchanta to rest before continuing the tour. Hiking altitude: approximately 4,300 to 4,800 meters above sea level (14,107 to 15,748 ft).
Back in Pacchanta, we’ll stop for lunch at a local restaurant, where you can try Andean cuisine and learn more about the region’s traditional flavors. After lunch, you’ll have free time to visit the Pacchanta hot springs. Access to the hot springs is optional and is not included in the tour, along with any other entrance fees not mentioned in the “Included” section. If you prefer not to take part in this activity, you can use your free time to explore the surrounding area. After this time to relax, we’ll begin the return journey to Cusco. Arrival back in the Imperial City of the Incas is scheduled for approximately 6:30 p.m.

Reviews
Guide: Ernesto Driver: Julio Best views, not too crowded. We did an awsome quechua cerimony ! Some of the most beutiful lagunas, peaceful hiking near the ausangate. Paths are not too steep. Can be easy if you are acclimated. You can have a hot bath if you want (optionally). Support for vegan food, if you ask. Be prepared for precarious WC structure but thats not on the agency, its because the locals are poor.
Great experience. Incredible visuals and the guide Jehomar, as always, very patient respecting our pace.
The trail is incredible and the guide Jehomar provided all support and assistance for the climb
Excellent experience with the guide Jehomar. The trip was tiring, but the experience was well worth it
I had a terrible experience. They agreed on a time and took almost 1 hour, leaving us in an 8-degree cold at 4 in the morning. The trip there was smooth, but we were very late, arriving as the last to enter the park. The tour was a bit rushed, breakfast and lunch were quite reasonable, with no infrastructure for tourism. The return was delayed, they said around 7 PM, we arrived at 8:30 PM, the guides don't control the people and it causes delays. In short, I don't recommend it to anyone, 7 hours on the bus for 4 hours of sightseeing.
The day I took the tour, it was outsourced. On behalf of the outsourced team, I have already done the evaluation at the link the guide gave me. Great guides and drivers. Bad van We had a 30-minute delay waiting for a passenger that I thought the tolerance should be less. On behalf of Machu Picchu trips, as I have mentioned in other reviews, I think there are communication and logistics problems. This 7 Lakes tour leaves Cusco very early, around 4 am. Until close to 10 PM the night before, I still hadn't received clear information about the time and location of departure. Until an employee from Machu Picchu Viagens called me asking if I had a tour to the colored mountain the next day! I had to correct it!
A very good trip, but it requires a lot of courage and preparation to go from beginning to end. The guide I highly recommend, Javier, attentive, calm, and always asking if we are well. The tour included breakfast, lunch, and they even picked us up at the hotel in the morning. Look for guide Javier and have an excellent experience on your trip!
The place is wonderful. Ane, our guide, very experienced and kind.
The tour was sensational with the guide Ani, very attentive!
We were very well assisted by everyone involved. Thank you very much for that!
Great experience, the guide Jehomar was very dedicated and attentive, I recommend.
For those going on this trip, it is important to note that it is not an easy trip. However, after the whole hike, the view is enchanting. We were able to experience snow during our trip and the guide Milton was super attentive.
Great experience! The guide explained everything legally, increasing the positive experience.
The tour is undoubtedly stunning: landscapes that take the breath (literally). But it is essential that the disclosure be more clear about the level of difficulty: walking for more than 5 hours above the 4,000 meters of altitude requires physical preparation and adaptation to altitude. It's not a light walk, and that has to be said with all the letters. We bought the tour the day before, right here, but there was confusion about the operator — it wasn’t clear whether we went with the contracted agency or a third-party. In addition, we had a delay of more than an hour on departure, which I consider a relevant negative point. On the other hand, the guide Juan was excellent — attentive, humorous and knowledgeable of the region, made the experience easier. I recommend the tour, yes, but only for those who have at least intermediate physical conditioning and no cardiological restriction. It’s beautiful, it’s intense — but it’s not for anyone.
We took the tour of the 7 lagoons, and it was amazing. Our tour was conducted by Milton, he supported us from beginning to end, was punctual and very receptive. We were very pleased, I recommend!
The place is fantastic! The Milton guide was amazing. Right now I thanked him for all the support he gave me and my wife. The driver who took us was also very nice. On the tour itself, I recommend preparation because of the Mountain Evil. It is a difficult journey, but very compensatory!
Everything went perfectly well, the van picked us up at the hotel and as we approached the place of the trail, the landscape was getting more and more beautiful. Our guide (Roberto) was super attentive and concerned with us throughout the journey, including taking oxygen if someone needed it. He took a lot of pictures of us along the way. The van driver was also amazing, both very polite. The view of the lagoons was spectacular, one more beautiful than the other and at the bottom the glaciers very close. Take this walk and I know you'll be amazed. The tour included breakfast and lunch. The walking route was about 17km, but, whoever wants, can do it by horse.
The views were spectacular! The guide, Roberto, contributed a lot so that I could have the experience of a trail at 4,800 meters with tranquility; he proved careful, always looking to know how I was feeling, in addition to contributing, also, so that I could experience the way the Incas relate to nature. The driver also proved very efficient! Congratulations to them.
The trail has wonderful landscapes from beginning to end, the best walk we made in our passage. The guide Roberto told us about his traditions and shared experiences with us. It made the ride even better.
Incredible experience on the Seven Lagunas tour, wonderful landscapes. The guide Jehomar was very attentive and available throughout the journey. I highly recommend!
The tour of the 7 Lagunas with the guide Jehomar was wonderful. He is always very attentive, caring and concerned about our well-being. The breakfast and lunch typical of the place was also delicious.
I had an amazing experience, I loved to know the 7 lagoons, with the guide Jehomar, who helped us all the time, so I felt safe!!!
Me and my husband did the 7 lagoon trail with the guide Milton and we loved it! The experience was amazing, the place is beautiful and Milton was very dear with us!
Great tour with the guide Milton, explained all the details, indicated better photos locations. The place itself precedes more details, is one of those places you only thank for still being preserved
The tour was wonderful, the whole team from the driver to the guide Milton were incredible. They gave us full support. One of the best walks of our lives
Our experience with Milton, was great helped us in everything, super patient, speaks very well Portuguese, we will definitely recommend to friends.
We did the 7 lagoas trail with Jehomar and it was excellent. The guide always very helpful and attentive with us. The walk was amazing. On the way, we got a little rain and very cold. But that didn't hinder the experience
The guide Jehomar was amazing, left the track even better with the explanations. It is worth seeing. But prepare yourself physically, mentally and materially (clothes for cold, waterproof clothes for rain and trail boots).
We want to thank infinitely the day we spent today to this agency and of course to our Guide Roberth and also Diana, we will never forget him, an exceptional Guide and a great person. The whole tour of the 7 lagoons was wonderful and breakfast and food too. Thank you a million, hopefully we'll see each other again someday
Making an amazing tour, I highly recommend. I want to thank in particular our Guide Jehomar, very attentive, did not rush us, we managed to make the tour very well.
First time we visited and for sure the Guide Ernesto made all the difference! Always helpful and request! Thank you for the excellent walk!
Wonderful tour, amazing pictures, excellent cuisine and of course I could not but thank the exceptional service of the Guide Percy. He was very careful and attentive to us all the time.
The visit to 7 lagoons was amazing. The view of the place is wonderful, the photos were fantastic. Our Guide Roberth was very helpful, cheerful and patient, an excellent Guide.
Our last tour contracted closed with golden key our Peruvian stay. The trekking 7 Lagunas from Ausengate is sensational. The Guide Roberth is very amazing and helpful.
We made a wonderful tour and had a wonderful experience on our tour of the 7 Lagunas of Ausangate, and this was only possible due to the safety of our driver Valentim as well as our Guide Roberth. What a magnificent tour, even at the end he presented us with a song by Roberto Carlos in Quechua language and with instruments of Inca music.
We took amazing photos, magnificent places, the Guide Robertho helped us with wonderful photos, which in addition to beautiful the place, we got amazing photos, super attentive. And at the end of the tour did a music demonstration in Quechua that made the tour even more perfect.
We have done several tours, but today's one was fantastic in the seven lagoons, on Mount Ausangate the Guide Ernesto was very attentive and explained everything to us. Congratulations.
We climbed, Edson Ernesto stopped to improve our air, saw the seven lagoons and ⁇ the mountains. Then we had a nice lunch.
The experience was amazing! One of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. And thanks to the Guide Ernesto we had a real immersion in Peruvian culture.
The script was amazing, the driver Valentim and the Guide Roberth accompanied us all the time, always explaining us about the customs and traditions of the Incas and Quéchua, and always very kind. We also together thanked PachaMama for further improving immersion in this universe. It was a sensational experience! Super recommend!
Incredible place, Guide Ernesto was wonderful in his explanations and care. We took several pictures. Too magical place.
The Agency Guide Ernesto macchu Pichu made all the difference note 10. But warn that the ride is very difficult, long, heavy, but it is sensational!!
Thank you very much to Ernesto, for your always special attention with us! My family recommends it to traveling outros!
Beautiful and impressive place! As if the beautiful landscapes were not enough, the guide Roberth made our experience much better with his ancestral cultural load and his kindness.
The ride was amazing! The place is spectacular and the guide Ernesto was very essential to assist us during the journey which is well drawn, in addition to telling us and sharing a little about the culture and history of Peru. Definitely an unforgettable experience. The route is well drawn, so before taking the tour it is important to talk to the travel agency to understand your options and whether you will be able to take the tour.
The tour conducted by Ernesto was far beyond my expectations. Attentive, patient, well informed. I loved to visit Machu Pichu, but I missed a more spiritual experience. On today's walk am Alzengate, besides the beautiful landscapes we had the experience that I wanted so much. He has already started the tour by praying in Quechua with the flowering water. The highlight was the shores of the pond,at the foot of the Ausengate mountain. He conducted a beautiful ritual of gratitude and family entanglement. It filled my soul with joy and heated my heart ❤️. Thank you.
I liked Perci's very pleasant hospitality and the incredible service from the driver and wonderful views of the place
wonderful, we went with the guide Percy, super kind, attentive and friendly. The driver was also super respectful when it came to someone feeling unwell.
Amazing trip with driver Wilbert and guide Percy, great driver and the best guide we had, an incredible duo. Great photographers too
