The tour was organised in a way that we had a good amount of time exploring and learning about Cusco and all the surrounding main sites including ollantaytambo, Machu Picchu, rainbow mountain and humantay lake. We had an amazing experience with Kantu Peru Tours during our visit to Peru! Our tour was originally planned for 7 days, but we decided to stay an extra 2 days to enjoy more of Peru at our own pace. Throughout the entire trip, Kantu Peru Tours was incredibly helpful and accommodating. It was especially nice having a local team we could reach out to whenever we had questions or needed assistance. Their staff was friendly, professional, and always quick to respond, which gave us so much peace of mind while traveling. They truly went above and beyond, especially when our train from Aguas Calientes to Cusco was delayed. Even though we arrived past midnight, they made sure our driver was still there waiting for us and that our hotel was informed about our late arrival. We went on the Humantay Lake Tour, and Wilfredo was our guide. He was incredibly helpful, answering all our questions and making the tour a lot of fun. He also took some lovely photos of our group. We didn’t feel rushed, even though we were all a bit slow. I would highly recommend Kantu Peru Tours because they are so organised.

Kantu Peru Tours was incredibly organised for our daily tours. I really appreciate David from Customer Service for sending us daily text messages about what to expect the next day. Plus, they already gave us our itineraries months in advance and again just days before our seven-day tour began. All our tour guides were very knowledgeable and also a lot of fun to be with. We especially want to commend Jesse from Rainbow Mountain Tour for getting us some amazing shots up in the mountains. She was also very energetic and a joy to be around. One after the other, each sights were otherworldly. The hotels were nice, the guides friendly, knowledgeable and proud of their heritage and country. Highly recommend this trip as a for sure bucket list item that also has pretty intense climbs.

We took the seven day tour of Cusco, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Humantay Lake and Rainbow Mountain in May 2026. Both Henry our tour guide, and Ruben our driver, were consummate professionals. They oversaw every detail of our tour, including accommodations, transportation and tickets. They were always on time and provided daily reminders of the next day’s activities, summarizing key points and considerations. Henry was extremely knowledgeable about each of the sites we visited, and was particularly caring and encouraging during the Humantay Lake and Rainbow Mountain hikes, to ensure we were comfortable and had the best experience. Henry also helped with dinner suggestions and reservations in Cusco, which has many fine restaurants, as dinner was the only meal not provided by the hotel (breakfast) or included in the tour (lunch). We chose the four star hotel option which was well worth it as the accommodations in both the Sacred Valley and Cusco were at highly rated Sonesta hotels, and included elaborate breakfast buffets. Overall, the tour was a tremendous value and a very efficient way to experience amazing sites in the Cusco area. I highly recommend Kantu Peru Tours as they exceeded our expectations and provided a very smooth, enjoyable and memorable vacation.

My experience in Peru was absolutely amazing and unforgettable. Every place we visited was breathtaking and truly a testament to God’s beautiful creation. From the mountains to the lakes and historical sites, everything felt so meaningful and inspiring.

I was very satisfied and would gladly recommend KANTU to our friends and grown up kids. The tour includes airport / hotel pick up, daily entrance tickets and some breakfast and lunch included... they took care of everything. Mr. Driver, Raul is very experienced and excellent driver. Some roads are for me difficult, but he is so good and very caring with everyone. He shares his own potion for anti elevation sickness… so kind of Mr. Raul our driver. Your tour guides, Javier (3days) and Rafael (2days) and Steven in Machu Picchu… this tour guides are excellent in their job, knowledgeable and very helpful, polite and patient with all of us. We are a big group and every one was happy with the driver and the tour guides we have. Javier, one of the tour guide name our big group of 14, “FAMILY”. My group of friends were booked under Kantu tours Peru. I myself was very satisfied with the service . Our tour guide who was Xavier was very helpful. He was able to explain the history well of every places we went to and answered our questions satisfactorily. Xavier’s patience and demeanor was excellent. I would say both Kantu tours and Xavier delivered the best services to all of us. Kodus to all.

A wonderful, 7 day whirlwind tour of Inca sites, natural wonders, with the added bonus of the friendly, helpful Peruvian people. The Guides were knowledgeable and responsive to our needs, the Drivers were professional and honest. In fact, my husband accidentally left his wallet aboard a tour van, we contacted Dave, our tour coordinator, who called the driver, who promptly returned the wallet complete with nothing missing while expecting nothing in return for his trouble. ( we gave the driver a small tip in thanks for his effort) . The cost for everything was reasonable, the accommodations were clean and well kept, with friendly staff. The food was great all around. And every Peruvian we encountered was friendly, kind and helpful. 10/10 would recommend.

Highly recommend Kantu Peru Tours! We travelled as a group of 6 and we were so impressed with our trip. Everything felt seamless. Before the trip began, Kantu already started communications with us, providing all the detail we needed before our trip. David was our main customer service rep, who had been messaging with me before the tour started. He was also the same person to pick us up from the airport (waited with an hour delay) and drop us off at the airport. It felt very full circle and that they really made an effort to get to know our group. He even provided each of us with beautiful souvenirs to take home! The hotel accommodations were well chosen, in fantastic locations, and very comfortable. The food that was included with the package was delicious, and we had one vegetarian in our group. The excursions were beautiful and we didn’t need to do any of the planning. Kantu knows the optimal times to visit each spot, meaning that some of our wake-up times were as early as 3 am, but it was to our best benefit. The drivers were always punctual, which was really nice. The tour guides were all phenomenal, friendly, and willing to provide recommendations to our group. We remember every single one of them very well, big shout out to Rafael, Carlos, Bryan, and Jenkins - you made our trip so incredibly memorable. Overall, my group felt incredibly well taken care of over our trip. Kantu truly surpassed all my expectations. This was an incredible value for the price we paid. I chose a 7-day package for my trip to Cusco and the surrounding areas, and I was very satisfied with the experience. The programme included all the destinations I had in mind, with additional flexibility from the agency in response to my requests. For example, they helped me add an extra circuit at Machu Picchu, which allowed me to enjoy more experiences. Leaving Cusco, I feel that I had the right amount of experiences for a seven-day trip (of course, there is still more to explore if I had had more time). Regarding the services of the agency, I would like to clarify the following: 1. Communication: The staff were incredibly friendly, accommodated all my requests, answered all my questions, and updated me on the daily schedule. Many thanks to Mary for the smooth introduction to their services, and to Samanta for guiding me through all the details every day — and, well, for great patience. 2. Transportation: No complaints at all. The drivers involved were careful, friendly, and the buses were comfortable. Special thanks to Richard for his attentive coordination of transport and for ensuring I was always taken care of. He is also a very friendly person. 3. Accommodation: I do have some complaints here (cold rooms, quality of furniture, etc. — though very friendly staff and nice breakfasts), but they concern the hotels themselves rather than the agency’s efforts, so I want to be fair. My suggestion: choose higher-rated hotels if comfortable accommodation is important to you. For me, this was not a priority. 4. Guides: Overall, I was satisfied with their support. There is, however, room for improvement. Please be aware of a possible language barrier (English). What could be improved: some guides should allow time for tourists’ questions — it should be a two-ways communication. Also, tours are bilingual, which means guides spend double the time addressing different language groups at the same time. The guides were all friendly, though some were more skilled than others. Special thanks to Jenkins and Felipe, who were the best guides for me on this trip. 5. Meals: I am vegetarian, so I was pleased that the meals offered were not only focused on meat. Thank you once again for your service. It was a wonderful journey.

The 1-day trip to Humantay lake is a very good experience. Our tour guide, Rafael, he was very pleasant with a friendly smile on his face. He explained things very clearly and took care of us throughout the trip, checked on us during the challenging/ steep hike and even helped us took amazing group photos and videos! Our driver, Jaime, he was a very experienced and polite driver. The road was steep, narrow, and rocky, but he handled it like a pro and completely in control. The ride was incredibly smooth despite the tough terrain, and we felt safe the entire time.

Kantu Peru Tours organized a good itinerary of the most exceptional sites in the Cusco region for me, but were very flexible if I needed to make a change. Communication was excellent with daily updates and immediate responses to my questions. They made my week in Cusco an unforgettable adventure.

I have to say, this tour was a little different than any. I’ve been on before. I didn’t have a live body guide per se to be with me all the time. Arranged tours stopped at the hotel to pick me up at hotel and later returned me to a central location in Cusco. When I got off the plane, there was a tour rep to meet me and get me to my hotel. When it was time to leave a tour rep picked me up at the hotel and got me to the airport. I used WhatsApp to contact the guide and always got prompt responses any issues were quickly dealt with All in all, I’m sure I saved money by taking this tour. Everything worked out what more is r here to say. Thanks Franklin and Bernardo. The one downfall is that because I was as a solo traveller, I wasn’t in a tour group. Yes I was on tours, but the people changed everyday.

I would absolutely book another tour with this company. They were excellent to work with. Franklin was outstanding as our customer service rep. He contacted us several days before to introduce himself and verify out flight info. He met us at the airport with our ticket package and walked thru each day and what tickets we would need. Franklin contacted us the day before with all the next day tour info. He went out of his way to get a new tour after one of our got canceled due to landslides. The one day my wife was feeling well and we had to cancel that day’s tour, Franklin offered to get her any assistance she needed. We enjoyed the whole experience from to start to finish.

Cannot fault Kantu Peru and especially Franklin who was super organized, communicative and caring. Every airport and hotel pick up was on time, the hotel (San Agustin Plaza) was wonderful, and the daily guides were knowledgeable and passionate about their areas. The daily tours were well chosen - so interesting and the scenery stunning. So well run that I was able to totally relax and enjoy my trip and leave all the organizing to Franklin. Would absolutely travel with this company again, and highly recommend them.

I didn't have to go far before Franklin met me at baggage claim upon arrival. Since I took Spanish we spoke bilingually. Throughout the tour, I was shown major monuments and pivotal city sights. I took over five hundred pictures, so this easily a beautiful place with scenic views.

I booked the 7-day tour because I wanted to see all the must-see places in Peru, from Machu Picchu to Rainbow Mountain. The representative who took care of my trip, Daniel, was very communicative and helpful. From day 1 he picked me up at the airport and every day he sent me the itinerary via Whatsapp and answered all my questions. Every day I had a different tour guide and all of them were very knowledgeable about the field and the history of the area. I was often the only English speaker in the group but the tour guide facilitated me well and always made me feel welcome. I had an excellent time in Peru thanks to Kantu Peru Tour and especially thanks to Daniel who exceeded my expectations.

The whole trip was amazing. From the views to the friendships that were made. Julio Cesar always made sure I knew what was happening the next day. And if I had any questions, I was able to message him and he always got right back to me. Julio was awesome!! Thank you Julio!! All the trips that I went on in Peru were more than I could have hoped for. The experiences i had with each guide was great!! From the guide in Machu Picchu who helped me up and down the mountain by offering me his arm to let me hold on to. From the guide at Lake Humantay, who went out of his way to help me find a horse to ride up and down the mountain. He also, asked one of the workers to take me on his motorbike back to the bus once we were done the ride. He totally went out of the way to help me and I truly appreciate it. I recently completed a 7-day tour in Cusco, Peru, and it was an exceptional experience. The overall coordination of the tour was flawless - big thank you to Waldir! He kept me informed each day of the tour the afternoon/night before. He would frequently check in to see how you’re doing and if everything is alright. Exceptional service, I couldn't have asked for more. Each day featured a different guide, all of whom were knowledgeable and engaging, but Richard truly stood out. He was the tour guide for rainbow mountain for me. He was very attentive and informative. I struggled with the hike due to the altitude but Richard made it possible due to his care and motivation. I could say the same with Jenkins who guided the Humantay Lake. I sadly decided not to do the hike up and took the horse ride instead as the altitude and steep of the mountain was to strenuous for my body. However Jenkins looked after me and made the journey more enjoyable. I was the the very few who only spoke English so I felt like I had a private tour with them hehehe. These guys love the mountains and have learned a lot through them. I really appreciate that I had them guide the tour for the hikes. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore Cusco and its surroundings in depth in a short amount of time. It was a memorable journey with excellent guides and seamless organisation. I travelled solo, so if you want to explore Cusco alone, this will be a good opportunity. You won't be with the same people but you get to meet different people each day. Be mindful, the tour is very tiring and intense with back to back tours and early mornings. You also won't know who your guide will be until on the day when they pick you up.

Machu Picchu was always on my todo list and I knew I rather had a tour than try to book it on my own. The logistics alone were crazy. I was glad I had Harold to help me and have that all set up with clear instructions. Rainbow mountain was amazing. Rafael did a great job with our group.

A great tour. Amazing sites. Very knowledgeable guides. Especially Mark Antonio, Julio and Richard.They were soooo accommodating, patient, caring and kind. I loved every bit even though the last 2 days I did not make it to the main site due to oxygen levels but the guides I could not have asked for more. This was the first tour I was ever on and it exceeded my expecations. The way it was set up was perfect. The first few days are easy to get you acclimated to the altitude and then the more challenging activities like Rainbow mountain and Humantay Lake were towards the end of the week. We enjoyed every activity we did. Every tour guide was professional and knowledgeable so we not only saw amazing things but also learned a lot about Andean culture and products. The drivers to every activity were very experienced; we never felt unsafe even on the thin dirt mountain roads. Big shout out to Waldir for organizing everything and being our point person he did a great job. The communication throught Whatapp was exceptional. We were sent a very detailed itinerary the night before and when our flight was changed the company was very accomodating with changing our transfer. This trip was amazing. It was well curated, exceptional communication from Waldir, the Concierge. He communicated clearly with me prior to the trip during the trip on a daily basis, and at the very end of the trip as well. Every day was a different itinerary And tour, which is exactly what I wanted because I saw all of the most amazing sites. The hotel was good accommodations, they were clean, breakfast was provided, and on the early morning trips, they gave us a breakfast to go bag, which was incredibly thoughtful. The tour operators were always on time, and also incredibly communicative. One of my favorite tour guides was Oscar. He was on the very last day granted all of them were good, but he was my favorite. He was attentive, his energy in personality simply shined, bonus he took great photos. Wilson was the driver and he was fantastic too. Every day, there was a different group on the Tours, with the exception of one couple that were staying at the same hotel. This allowed you to make new friends on a daily basis, but also allowed you to still feel comfortable in your own surroundings. I am a solo traveler, and , this tour allowed me to feel comfortable safe and give me a lot of good cultural history, and understanding of Peru, and all of the locations that we visited. I highly recommend this for couples solos families, the value the experience, the people all very worthwhile.

If you want to see it all without the hassle... Kantu Tours is definitely the way to go. Can't recommend them highly enough. As a solo traveller, having someone there at every step and daily updates was so easy and carefree all the way. Even my daily contact was so approachable that when I had some altitude sickness on the first day he was there with great advice and checking up on me the next day. 🤗 Little surprise gift at the end which was so appreciative. If I do come back to Cusco, I'll go straight up with Kantu Tours again 😊

This tour was very nicely organized by Kantu Peru. As promised the tour operator picked us up from Cusco airport, even though our flight schedules got changed at last minute. Waldir from customer support was there with us for the initial briefing of all the tour activities. Every evening, we got a detailed update on the next day's activities keeping us informed on what to expect. This helped us to pack accordingly for next day. I did provide feedback that it would be good to take input from travellers regarding their preferred time of visit to Machu-Pichu. Ours was early in the morning, we would have preferred, later in the morning.

The tour was phenomenal. Kantu Tours really exerted their best effort to make my travel a lifetime to remember. They placed me in a a very nice hotel in the heart of Cusco. The daily itineraries were crafted well. There’s always a communication that Wadhir send at the end of the day to check how was my day and to give me a heads up on what will be the expectations the following day. He was consistent throughout the 7day tour. I would like to give special mention to the tour guide and driver on November 21, which was my birthday - Jose and Freddy( as he call himself Freddy Krugger) 😊 for Rainbow Mountain and also November 22 for Humantay lake ( Driver Eustavio and tour guide Freddy) They were very attentive to the needs of all the people in the van. They made sure that he offers help when needed. Freddy with his jolly self made the climb in Rainbow Mountain and Humantay lake a breeze. He is very knowledgeable on the history and facts of the place we toured. Another thing that was memorable was when Kantu Tours gave me a surprise birthday cake to celebrate my birthday and make it more memorable. Thank you Kantu Peru!!! It is my first time using Kantu Peru tours but i would say that this won’t be the last. I used Kantu for a private 4 start tour for around 9 days across Lima, Cusco, Machu Pichu and Puno including Sacred Valley and Rainbow Mountain. From the start, they were very helpful in working with me on designing a trip and accommodating any changes I/my friend wanted. During the tour, they checked in each day. All the guides were good and helpful. Our guide in Cusco (Gerry/Gerson) deserves a special mention as he was amazing. The hotels and transportation was comfortable. We took our time visiting the places and never felt rushed. The only complaints I had would be that our hotel at Machu Pichu. The rooms felt a little run-down than the 4 start category. Also, the stay with a local family at Lake Titicaca was more rustic than I expected. Thats standard across all tours (not specific to Kantu) and the family was really amazing. But more description on the tour at the time of booking would be more helpful to make an informed decision. I would recommend Kantu to anyone wanting a comprehensive visit to Peru without the headache of self-planning. For the service they provided, I also found them to be cost efficient.

From pickup at the Airport to our hotel selection and tours everything was perfect. Prior to arriving in Peru Mary promptly answered any questions I had via WhatsApp. Waldir, greeted us at the airport and was our representative while in Peru. The Cusco city tour with Mary was great as was our sacred valley and Machu Picchu tour. Although I don’t remember the guides name he was very informative and explained everything about the Inca civilization. Although not a listed tour Kantu tours arranged a ATV tour to Rainbow Mountain which was excellent. Our guide for lake humantay, Gorkie was fantastic too. For both the Rainbow Mountain and Lake Humantay tours our guides always asked if we were doing okay due to the high altitude. For both the level of service and value I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kantu tours for those planning a trip to Peru.

A spectacular experience, to enjoy the main attractions of Andean Peru, with all the facilities and the greatest involvement. I would recommend it without a doubt.

Everything was very well organized and with personalized service. The guides were very attentive and helpful; Mr. Romulo, Ricardo, Jonathan, and Susan (I don't remember all the names) are not only experts in Inca history but also specialists in iconic photos. It was great.
