24 day Ultimate Sth America trip with Trip A Deal from Australia. Valencia and Juan Callado in particular made our 13 days Cusco leg a wonderful experience. Juan was born in Peru and was very knowledgeable about his country, people and culture. Planning daily was exceptional, highly organized and made everything seem faultless. Birthday cake for people’s birthdays ( taken from passport details, to audio devices ( whispers) for our walking tours. My holiday experience in Peru was made exceptional thanks to our guide, Ruben Soto Vera. From the outset, his warmth, professionalism, and genuine care for everyone created a welcoming atmosphere. Ruben’s knowledge of Peru is outstanding. He shared the country’s history and culture with clarity and enthusiasm, enriching every destination we visited. His organisation and attention to detail ensured everything ran smoothly, allowing us to relax and enjoy the journey. The tour was marvellous and to see such ancient sacred sights up close and personal was amazing. Walking the paths of so many previous occupants of the beautiful Andes was a thrill. The tours in their completeness were action packed but worth the effort. Our stops were very informative and our guest speakers spoke amazing English which added to our interests. Our guide Jose was very knowledgeable about the beautifully preserved Inca Sacred valley and Machu Pichu itself. Jose was an extremely polite host and guide, he was very conscious of the varying age gaps of our group and made sure the pace was adjusted to suit all. Thoroughly recommend the package trip adventure and learning awaits you.

We had a wonderful trip from Cusco to Machu Picchu, our tour guide named Claudio Cesar Andia Paz from Valencia Travel Agency provided us with excellent service. Claudio is a warm, friendly, also very experienced & knowledgeable tour guide, he took care of us in every aspects. I want to mention that Claudio had tried his best to help us out when he found out we couldn't locate our baggage at Lima airport & thankfully we finally found out it had been transferred incorrectly to Cusco instead of Lima airport. We were able to experience Peru with Corina from Valencia Travel Cusco and she and the 6 day tour were stellar ! The tour ran like clockwork and Corina always kept a watchful eye on all of us ! She like the country is amazing ! The hotels, transfers and sites were all grand and right in the center of everything ! Corina’s knowledge and experience with all the sites we visited was top notch . We learned so much about her Inka ancestors and throughly enjoyed the food and history. Machu Pichu was obviously the highlight and Corina encouraged us to think positively for good weather and it was delivered !

We had a wonderful holiday in Peru, it was so much more than we expected. WOW - awesome - sensational stuff. We did this Machu Picchu tour as part of an overall 5-week package with Trip-a-Deal and the Peru section, including Machu Picchu, was managed by VALENCIA TRAVEL CUSCO. I would thoroughly recommend Valencia Travel in Peru. Our main guide from Valencia Travel was Claudio Andia and he also had several other colleagues with him to assist with pick ups, bus drivers and other guides because our group was quite large (32 people) Claudio got our whole group together on the very first night, and he created a "FAMILY" out of us all which was reinforced through a What's App chat group that Claudio set up for us. I think this also made the entire trip more enjoyable, so much so that we carried that FAMILY group on for the rest of out trip - another 4 weeks through South America and Antarctica. I can't thank you enough Claudio and Valencia Travel and Trip a Deal for creating such a fantastic Family Group Dynamic.

The places we visited were wonderful and our guide Ruben Soto Vera had excellent knowledge of all the Incan sites. Machu Picchu was a highlight even though the weather was foggy and occasionally raining, it was a once in a lifetime experience. Cusco is an interesting city as it was central to the Incas and visiting the main Cathedral and sites around it were fascinating. We also did an Amazon extension. The Corte Maltes lodge was comfortable and food plentiful. Staff were attentive and friendly. The highlight was visiting a native tribe upriver who showed us how they hunted for food and grew their own crops and animals. Their simple lifestyle was inspirational. Would recommend.

Great trip, Peru is a beautiful country. The trip was titled Incredible Andes and it lived up to its name, from the jungle to the mountains absolutely beautiful! Our guide Ruben was knowledgeable and helpful and had a great sense of humour, him as long with Edwardo made for a fun informative trip. Highly recommend!

Ruben, our tour guide, was fantastic, has a good sense of humour, is very well organised, and is a great source of knowledge and information. Without Ruben, we would have been stranded at Santiago airport and missed the connecting flight to Lima as LATAM unexpectedly changed the departure gate but didn’t make an English language announcement. Ruben realised what was happening and ensured that our group caught our flight with no problems.

The trip was incredible and Ruben was such an amazing guide. Seeing Machu Picchu at sunrise was breathtaking. Highly recommended.

I had an absolutely amazing time on this tour of Peru. Machu Picchu was definitely the highlight but the tour was full of wonderful experiences. Our tour guide, Rolly, was extraordinary. He went above and beyond every day to make sure everyone on the tour had the best time. We always knew what was happening each day and what we would need. We had an awesome time with Aldo! After long transit days between Peruvian towns, he organised unique walking tours around the respective towns after having a little siesta. Aldo is super knowledgeable and it really shows how proud he is of his country. Edu who also joined for the Cusco/Machu Picchu part of our trip was also very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the days of the tour! Overall an awesome itinerary for anyone who wants to visit the highlights of Peru.

We had Aldo as our local guide for the whole 6 days and he was amazing. We saw so many amazing things the highlight of course being Machu picchu. The trip was demanding, especially with the effects on our breathing and fitness with the high altitude. There is a lot of climbing stairs but all well worth it.

Also our tour guide made the trip a experience of a lifetime. We have ticked off our bucket list with this experience. Would highly recommend this group tour.

As bucket lists go, you'd have to say that Machu Picchu is up there on most traveler's "must see" itineraries. For me, I'm not much a bucket list kind of guy. It’s the journey as much as the destination that excites me. So, when we headed out on the Cusco-Aguas Calientes-Puno circuit with Valencia Travel, I was expecting a simple tour of the sights with a polished, if somewhat overview, commentary. What we got was so much more! Our excellent guide and tour host, Hugo Tamayo, brought passion, humour, and knowledge into everything we did. Hugo, a proud Quechuan man, enthusiastically spoke about his people, their culture, their connection to the Cusco region, and the oppression they suffered at the hands of the Inkas and Spanish. He spoke about modern Peru, it political and social challenges, and his hopes for its future. He brought a depth of understanding that simply would not have been possible otherwise as a tourist. Coming to Peru, I possessed little knowledge of its history or the many tribes that had worked the lands. I was intrigued by the intricate and precise stone work of the temples, the engineering behind their irrigation systems, and their ability to thrive and establish an artisan culture and religious order as advanced as those of Europe and Asia. Hugo’s detailed explanations of the ruins and crafts that we saw and respect for his forbearers, drove home just how extraordinary Peru is. Yes, Machu Picchu did not disappoint. We had a magical afternoon around the ruins and even more stunning climb to the top of Huayna Picchu the next morning. But it was what Hugo said to me that really brought it all into clear focus. As we stood above the temple complex, with the Urubanba River boiling across the rocks far below and distant mountains capped in snow shining in the evening light, Hugo spoke of the energy in the place. Focused by the valleys and gorges and centered on Machu Picchu, there was a power in the place that defied description. An almost spiritual energy that you could feel vibrate through the earth. An exceptional experience that will long be remembered.

Just finished the Trip a Deal tour of 11 Day 2 for 1 Peru 2023-05-11. The tour guide Hugo Tamayo was exceptional, he treated is group as his family and this is how we felt. His knowledge was also very impressive. Hugo has a very personal approach to his tours and went above and beyond exceeding our expectations. I would highly recommend.
