Our entire trip was handled perfectly from beginning to end. The guides were extremely knowledgeable and considerate or our needs. The logistics were flawless!

Along the way, we will appreciate the Plazoleta Nazarenas, surrounded by colonial buildings such as the old headquarters of the San Antonio Abad University and next to it the church of the same name. Then, we will continue to the Plaza de Armas to visit the Cathedral that houses colonial works of incredible value. We will continue towards the Koricancha, whose Quechua name is Quri Kancha (Golden Temple) that receives us with all its lavishness.
Day 2

In the morning we will get away from the crowds to visit Sacsayhuamán, an impressive ceremonial fortress full of colossal constructions surrounded by beautiful landscapes in full communion with the surroundings. Then, we will have a panoramic view of the Inca shrine of Qenqo, an ancient temple of the Puma that houses an altar for sacrifices. Finally we will arrive to the Puca Pucara viewpoint and Tambomachay, monument of impressive architectonic knowledge considered as one of the pillars of Andean Cosmo vision. Overnight stay in Cusco.
Day 3

The Sacred Valley of the Incas will welcome us today. We will visit the Inca and Colonial Pisac. Discover one of the most beautiful archeological sites in the Sacred Valley at the top of the mountain where you can have a view of the colonial town of Pisac. Walking tour to the Colonial town. Time to do some shopping at the handicraft market. Then, we will head to the impressive Inkariy Museum. Here we will enjoy a delicious lunch. We will take a guided tour of the museum to learn more about the numerous rooms where cultural representations of pre-Hispanic civilizations of ancient Peru are exhibited. Our next stop will be the Live Cultural Museum of Yucay, a tourist complex where we will see and feed the Andean camelids such as the llamas and alpacas, and where the locals will show us the weaving and dyeing techniques of their traditional textiles. Overnight in the Sacred Valley.
Day 4

We will start visiting the Living Culture Yucay Museum, which mission is to preserve and value the different cultural and agricultural activities of the Sacred Valley. Our adventure continues exploring the treasures of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Moray, where the view is awesome due to the colossal concentric terraces. The purpose of it is to recreate microclimates, a measure that guaranteed the agricultural production of the empire. We will continue our journey to Maras, the millenary colonial salt mines. The contrast of the white pools against the green valley is so impressive that it resembles a postcard. Buffet lunch. In the afternoon, we will head towards the archaeological complex of Ollantaytambo, where you can see the technique with which the Incas work the stone. It is now time to catch the train at the Ollantaytambo station. We will arrive in Machu Picchu town where the hotel staff will welcome and assist us on getting settled in one of the hotels.

Reviews
We were kept well informed and things were timely. Carolina was organized. Anthony was a great driver. Ronald did a great job as guide at Machu Picchu.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an absolutely exceptional experience with VIPAC on our trip to Peru. From the very first contact to the end of the journey, everything was perfectly organized and far exceeded our expectations. We would especially like to highlight Deysi, whose dedication, professionalism, and attention to detail made all the difference. Her outstanding organization gave us complete peace of mind throughout the entire trip. We also want to thank our guides Miguelito and Marceal, who not only demonstrated deep knowledge of Peru’s history, culture, and traditions, but were also consistently kind, patient, and very attentive. Their passion for what they do truly enriches every visit and turns it into an unforgettable experience. The logistics were flawless: hotels, transfers, excursions, punctuality, and support at all times. Every detail was carefully planned, reflecting VIPAC’s high level of commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. We fully recommend this agency and would definitely travel with them again. Thank you for turning this trip into a unique experience filled with culture, learning, and unforgettable memories.
It was an increíble and unique ecperience.
It was worry free!! We were picked up at the airport, transferred to our hotel in Cusco. After that, the tours and the guides were excellent - Alexandra, Manuel, Hector and finally Paul in Machu Picchu!! Vipac was so organized with their handoffs and everything went off like clockwork. Our accommodations also were very good in Cusco and the Sacred Valley (Urubamba). Their communications were timely and we felt informed at every step of the way as they stewarded us through the experience. 5 stars! Highly recommend!!
We just finished a trip with Vipac and I’m still thinking about it. They did a great job balancing the active tour days with some seriously high-end downtime. It felt like a perfect 50/50 split. Our coordinator, Deysi, was a total lifesaver. She was always available for questions, but the real highlight was when she helped us snag last-minute dinner reservations at Jonas in Cusco. It ended up being the best meal of the trip because the portions were huge, the service was super personal, and the flavors were just heavenly. The guides, Alex (Cusco/Sacred Valley) and Rudi (Machu Picchu), were both excellent. Alex took us to the alpaca textilery, and I was honestly impressed by how beautiful and functional the intricately crafted works were. It was fascinating to learn first-hand about the materials and traditional processes they use to make their pieces. As for the food and stay, I’m still thinking about the lomo alpaca at the Aranwa Sacred Valley hotel. It was so novel and insanely good. Also, if you stay at the Aranwa, definitely do the "dessert experience." I won't spoil it, but you have to try it yourself. The Vistadome train to MP is definitely the way to go. The views on the way up are awe-inspiring with the glass ceilings. On the way back, they actually did a surprise fashion show with alpaca and vicuña clothing. It was such a fun, unexpected delight for a group of weary travelers after a long day at the ruins. Everything just worked. If you want a trip that feels like a real adventure while staying in amazing places and eating world-class food, Vipac is the way to go. Thanks again to Deysi, Alex, and Rudi!
This trip was fantastic. Absolutely seamless. The tour guides were all very knowledgeable and friendly. Deysi was wonderful I don’t know what I would have done without her. This was a trip of a lifetime and VIPAC made it happen. Thank you
Vipac was a great company to us. The people were kind and on time. When an unexpected incident occurred, they were flexible and communicative. Thank you so much for everything!
All tour guides and drivers were always on time to pick us up at the hotels . The guides had a lot of information about the visited sites and offered great services
Best experience ever! So much rich culture! Peaceful and enjoyable! The personel at Vipac were outstanding! They were on time friendly and always kept a sense of safetyness for all tours! They were very expirienced on all areas visited. Will definetely return!
Excellent service, professional. From airport to hotels, tours and train rides, seamless transfers. Tour guides knowledgeable, informative
Peru has a lot to offer and culturally speaking it’s just a very great immersion in the Inca heritage when you get to the Sacred Valley and Cusco Lima is vibrant and the colors of Peru just make you happy
Special mention for the attention of Yimmy and the guide Jazmín in Machu Picchu. The tour to Ollantaytambo was almost a mess in a hurry because a couple from Spain that had to catch a train. Bad time administration... It was the only problem.
Fantastic vacation. Everything was coordinated perfectly, from airport to hotel to sightseeing. Very understandable English from guides and extremely knowledgeable about all. Always very timely, but never rushed.
The tour was very well organised. Guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. Rommel was particularly good. We think Peruvian are lovely friendly people and we had a great time overall. The only negative was the hotel in Cusco which had no restaurants and was very basic…3 star at best. Staff were really good however. But we were disappointed by the hotel ammenities which were not up to the standard we expected. Very noisy at night with fairly constant foot traffic going past. A lot of stomping from the room above. No hot water the night we arrived and no food! Breakfast at 8am was basically picking over what was left from early departures. No food was topped up unless we specifically asked. International travelers like us expect a bit more if we’re travelling a long way ( in our case from Australia) and arriving late. However the other hotels were excellent. The Sonester is really special. All round a really good experience for us. Thank you.
Amazing! Very professional staff! Very attentive and took amazing care of us. I would 100% recommend them and would book again with them !
ViPac did a great job with all the tours that we did. They were punctual with every pickup and allowed us to explore at our own pace. We had Luis as our guide in Cusco and for Machu Picchu and was absolutely amazing! I would highly recommend using ViPac if you are wanting a tour company to help you explore Peru. They handled every detail perfectly and with great professionalism!
The tour was exceptional and the tour guides of each location very helpful and competent!! We enjoy this magestic country!!
This is our first time in Peru. We had a great experience the sights and history were incredible. The team from Vipac Travel made our trip extraordinary. A
It was really fun and interesting. Amazing locations and views along the way. There where so many tours everyday that were very interesting but tiring as well. Definitely want to go back to Peru!
Amazing private tour, well worth the money. I learned a lot about Inca, opening my eyes to new history that wasn’t known when I was young. The guides and drivers were amazing!
We were very excited about this trip....which has now just concluded. I will say upfront that I will never book another trip thru Viator-Vipac again.... Look, we travel a great deal and are aware of the challenges that happen while abroad. Peru can be a very difficult country to navigate, planes, buses, trains and felt that Vipac did not share adequate information to help us prepare the challenges ahead The trip We were never instructed by anyone at Vipac, that there would be a daily what’s app note sent over or any specific instructions as to how we would be taken care of Oh, the guide will tell you how to plan for the next day? Or: We will get a what’s app message nitely that was really frustrating to understand. To my earlier point, a full written itinerary would have solved everything. Vipac is terrible with their itineraries.....I've asked for printed itineraries with time specific dates and timelines on numerous occasions and have never received one.... My Fault....word of advice, If you are booking this trip thru Vipac and do not receive a written, physical itinerary, with exact time lines, dates, excursions and guides, spelled out in detail, don't book it! Save yourself the head ache of receiving cryptic follow up messages every day with limited direction or instructions I’ll breakdown our trip into 4 segments - Hotels - Guides - Destinations - Support The trip starts (warning signs) We came in a day early to prepare for altitude (Cusco elevation is just over 11,000 ft). Vipac had our schedule to come in a day later...we asked if they could pick us up at the airport when we arrived. They said no we had to pay for airport pick up? Okay...not off to the best start? Hotels: Place Del Inca Marriott We checked into the Place Del Inca Marriott because we were told this would be our hotel. (Great staff, Great services, Great spot) Turns out Vipac switched our hotel to the JW Marriott because the PDI Marriott was booked....this is where I began to get the feeling we were dealing with a last minute planning company. PDI Marriott is a refurbished convent close to a Cathedral….Beautiful Breakfast Buffet....Terrific Service 5 star Very close walking distance to the central square….great spot with plenty of shopping and many fine dining restaurants below - Morena - Cicciolina Cafe - Inka Grill - Campo JW Marriot JW Marriott is a refurbished convent as well Great space, historic value, Nice Spa. No Gym Be aware of the Inca Wall Rooms, they are on floors -1 and -2 ( 1 and 2 floors below the hotel’s main floor) They are just that, rooms with views of an ancient wall? We understood than in advance and could work with it for the couple nites there The rooms are a bit dark so be prepared. Nice Spa! Service and dining was not nearly as good as the PDI Marriott Aranwa Hotel Only here one nite Beautiful Hacienda and great space. Had some light bites at the bar and off to bed for an early start the next morning. Nice Spa on site Sumac Hotel We were only here one nite, however, their service and support was 5 star! What a great supportive and caring staff! These guys get it! Rooms are clean and spacious Dinner and morning breakfast was very nice Spa on site Deybi (sp) This guy is rock star! we came back from our trip to Matchu Picchu soaking wet as it was raining pretty hard that day. (reminder pack ponchos, the weather can change quickly). We had checked out earlier that morning and went back to the hotel to collect our luggage after our trek through MP Deybi noticed that we were quite soaked. He really helped us out gave us access to the spa so we could change into dry clothes. He also took our wet clothes and dried them for us! To add a little more, Deybi personally delivered our bags to the train station. That’s service, that’s caring, that’s commitment to delivering a superior experience. Uncommon really. Vipac could learn from that instead of rationalizing their lackluster follow up and execution Guides We had 3 different guides during our travels, all were contractors who work for various travel companies in the region. They were all knowledgeable, friendly and most helpful. Destinations You will see some of the most memorable and beautiful archeological sights in the world. They speak for themselves! The question you need to ask yourself is who do you want to show them to you? It was very difficult to be prepared day to day and wondering who will be picking you up? who is your guide etc. The Vipac experience was sobering and has made us rethink how we approach our trip planning in the future. Example below Itinerary Day 1 Receive an anonymous what’s app text at 9am that there was someone at the hotel to pick up for our excursion? We had an excursion scheduled for that day at 2 PM? Why were they there to pick us up and take us to the JW Marriott 1/2 mile away at 9 am, 5 hours early?) After texting back and forth their answer was simple….take it up with Viator! This exemplifies the poor service by the Vipac customer support staff. WOW!! As you can see we are off to a great start: This is the communication mode throughout the trip. A what’s app text telling you where to be at what time. Very mechanical, transactional, assembly line mentality. Made you feel like you are being herded like cattle. Hopefully you have cell service and or wifi that will allow you to see these communications? Please keep in mind the collaboration with Vipac is poor at best as they continue to rationalize their lack of respect for the customer and not take any accountability for their actions. They will offer you a free dinner to mask their poor execution, (As they did to us, we did not accept) yet not make the necessary changes to enhance the customer experience. The trip was memorable both good and bad. We will remember, Peru for its culture, lifestyle, and stunning archeological beauty. We will also remember Vipac, for all of the wrong reasons and will continue to share the unfavorable details of our trip with anyone planning to travel this region and especially with friends and social media.
My cousin and I had an amazing time during this trip. The transportation was extremely well organized. Lila was waiting for us at the airport when we arrived and gave us a breakdown of the tour. She was our main contact the rest of the days and she always answered all our questions promptly and kindly. We were never worried about what/where/when because the communication was excellent. The hotels we stayed at were also amazing. We stayed at Palacio del Inka, Inkaterra, and Sumaq. They were all absolutely beautiful. However, I have to make a special mention of the staff at Palacio del Inka. Jose and Walter were extremely kind and attentive. The whole staff really went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome. All of our tour guides, Tulia, Melvin, and Frank were knowledgeable and clearly passionate about their history and culture. They all offered narratives that really placed you back in time. We felt safe the entirety of the trip, even when we ventured out by ourselves in the evening. It was truly an amazing trip. I’m already trying to figure out how soon I can go back!
The tour company was very good about communicating through what's app. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and on time. The driver always had the car ready and clean at every stop.
The places we went were very interesting and the guides were very knowledgeable, helpful, kept us very well informed about how the day is going to be, what kind of clothes and shoes will be needed for that kind of excursion and made our trip more pleasant and bearable even in extreme conditions.
Actually we took this tour for only 2 days and we regret not staying one more day to visit Cusco per se, but that was my choice, I recommend staying that additional day. Now, the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu tours are a must, those of us who love history, archaeology and ancient cultures, need to see this marvel for the constructions and spiritual fulfilness. We extremely loved it . Be prepared to walk in MP and Ollantaytambo. As for Vipac, the agency, it is one of the best I have contracted. It is simply AWESOME! The punctuality, the organization, the personnel, the drivers, the guides, Clara for the SV and the MP guide were SUPER! I recommend Vipac and if I come back, I will contact them again. Lila received us in Cusco, she was awesome.
Excellent and reliable operator. Knowledgeable and enthusiastic guides. Great hotel selection , particularly in Machu Pichu and Sacred valley. Cusco hotel was an ancient palace. A little dark for my liking and bedroom/ bathroom not as good as the other accommodation we had. Consider an alternative hotel. Although the location is excellent. The farm to table restaurant experiences were awesome and a must do. Hiram Bingham train also a must do. Suggest if able, hike the 1.8 KM trail up to the entrance of Machu Pichu and also visit the museum at the beginning of the trail. Water and toilet paper should be available in the tour vehicle at all times. The Oxygen shot canister and the souvenir carry bag are a nice touch. Criticism: When we disembarked from the ship, we should have been met at the transit station at Plaza Santa Rosa,( as others were) rather than us having to try get an Uber or be hounded by expensive taxi operators to get to Mira Flores. I highly recommend VIPAC for your touring needs in Peru.
Every aspect of the trip was superb. I commend Santiago from Tours Gone Wild for arranging a wonderful trip using Vipac. Fatima and Deysi assisted with all airport transfers and managed tours and this felt special. Gabriel, Johan, Hermon and Clara gave excellent tour experiences. From the drivers to the tour guides and assistants, they made me feel like family, and I look forward to using the VIPAC service in the future. Vipac is a very professional organization. Timothy Owens
What a wonderful and diverse experience! I learned so much about the history and architecture of the Inca culture, had the most fantastic food, great hikes and stayed in wonderful hotels. The guides were very knowledgeable and friendly and the travel agency took care of me every step of the way. Thank you!!!
Very well organized trip with friendly and knowledged staff, learned a lot about the inca and pre inca cultures. Definitely recommend to everyone.
Wonderful tour of Cusco, the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. There were new experiences at every turn including the chance to dance on the train from Aguas Calientes. Vipac staff were very accommodating to our needs and the guides very knowledgeable.
The trip was incredible! This company really knows how to be professional, timely, and knowledgeable. The sights, excursions, hotels, transportation and food were all great. David Alba ensured we were taken care of all week and was very kind and helpful during our stay. We will never forget this trip! (One note for people going to Laguna Humantay & Rainbow Mountain), the walks are very difficult but they have horses you can take up the mountains)
There is so much to experience in each area. The views are amazing, and the culture is so rich! The guides/drivers provided and the accommodations booked were excellent.
Our guides, especially Abraham in Cusco and Marco in Machu Picchu, were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The tours were well-structured as well.
The tour was really excellent. They managed everything and I had to worry about nothing. Even my kid got sick and they helped me to rearrange hotel reservations and more.
The trip was very well planned and evrything went perfectly. Great guides, beatifull photos - specialy in Machu Picchu site. Defenitly recommended. The transfers to and from the airport worked just great.
Excellent service , punctual on all tour pickup and drops offs. Great tour guides super nice and patient with every single member of our group especially with those that could not keep up with the walking due to the altitude.
We had a fantastic honeymoon doing this trip in Peru. We had 3 different guides over the course of the trip (which is really 5 days and 5 nights of touring, the 6th day there are no activities), starting with Mario for the first 2 days in and around Cusco, then Jose Maria for the next 2 days around Sacred Valley, and then Paul for the final day at Machu Picchu. Each of the guides was great and spoke in both Spanish and English. We particularly enjoyed Jose Maria's guidance of our Sacred Valley tour. Jose's knowledge and excitement about the tours were wonderful. There are so many beautiful sights to see around this whole area, and the days were full and felt very satisfying. Note: We didn't get a whole lot of time at Machu Picchu, around 2 hours in total. We knew since we booked fairly last minute that the time would be short, and we would have liked a longer time there, but it was all so magical we still really enjoyed ourselves.
The guides were informative and the driver and tour person took good care of us. We received an itinerary with exact meeting times and used the what’s app to communicate and receive reminders. Also nice to have English speaking guides. They even booked some dinner reservations for us as we don’t speak spanish. I recommend this company.
I traveled with three other family members and everyone in our group was delighted with nearly everything about our trip. We all felt well taken care of and attended to. There was a great balance between planned activities and free time to rest or explore on our own. Based on my prior experience with another company on a tour in Peru, this tour provided us great value for the cost as well. Our accommodations and the meals included in the tour exceeded my expectations given my prior experience. Our guides were extremely knowledgeable, professional, and super personable. The private transportation from pick up at the airport to our return along with the private transportation on our tours was clean and comfortable. Our tour coordinators and guides were readily available to answer our questions and solve any issue that arose. At two points during one part of the trip there was some confusion/mix ups with train and admission tickets, but the ViPac tour representatives worked with and for us to solve the issues quickly and to our satisfaction in a totally professional manner. What could have been better was the communication with us prior to our trip. I found messaging through Viator frustrating at times because I wasn't confident the tour operator had received my enquiries. The communication I had with the tour operator prior to the trip was somewhat vague and I had to put a lot of faith in the idea that someone would indeed meet us at the airport and the tour would happen. It turns out any fear I had ahead of time was unfounded. It also would have been helpful to have a better understanding of what to expect in terms of how the trip would operate. An example of this is that mid-way through the trip we were told that we would not be able to take large suitcases with us for a segment of the trip, that large suitcases needed to be left at the hotel and we were to only take what we needed for the next 2 nights and days. Fortunately, we had a variety of travel bags between the people in our group and could reorganize our essentials. A lot could be avoided through more thorough descriptions on the website and possibly a packing list or recommendation on the types of bags to bring. That being said, now that I have taken a trip with Vipac through Viator, I would definitely use them again for my next trip to Peru.
The guides for each of the excursions were terrific. Each of the hotels were well beyond our expectations for “economy” lodgings. A few glitches that we experienced were for our group of 4, our reservations for our train to Machu Picchu on only had 2 of our group of 4 seated together. The Vipac representative arranged premiere seats for the other 2 in our party. Our admission tickets and our transportation for Machu Picchu were assigned for 2 different times but the Vipac guide took care of that as well. We were very pleased with the Vipac team.
I would thoroughly recommend VIPAC as your tour provider for Peru. They were prompt, efficient, very attentive and kept in touch with us every step of the way via WhatsApp. This was my first trip to South America and the VIPAC organization made me feel safe and relaxed negotiating the airports, train stations and hotels. The VIPAC guides were very knowledgeable and patient with all the questions. Their English was very good although all guides were local. If they were scheduled to meet us at 5am in the hotel lobby, they were there, always early. We learnt so much about their history and culture. My travelling companion was vegetarian, and they took care of her needs with the lunches etc. They took us through the airports ensuring we got our boarding passes, luggage tags and took us right to the departure area so we couldn't get lost. At one point we were concerned about some of the foods stuffs we'd purchased might get taken by security as we crossed the border into the USA. Our contact, Laura, was right on it and we knew exactly what we could and couldn't take before we got to the airport.
Peru has so much to offer, we have all seen pictures of Machu Picchu, but that is just “the tip of the iceberg”… amazing heritage from all the Andean cultures that inhabited the area which culminated with the Inca Empire… Not ti mention the super friendly Peruvians and amazing food! VIPAC made our private experience even more amazing, not to mention Richard, our super knowledgable guide, who was always looking for ways to make the experience better while still covering a pretty demanding agenda… there is just so much to see and learn!
We really enjoyed the level of service and detail provided. The staff and tour guides were genuinely nice and they took care of everything. Transportation, tours, everything! A true vacation for me.
The agency service was outstanding from the airport pick up in Lima to the drop off in Cusco's airport! All the information about the sites we visited was interesting and accurate, the places we went were magical and the breathtaking views were amazing! The choice of hotels was excellent, the staff was friendly and the accommodations were nice and comfortable, with flat screen TV's all all the amenities. The agency vehicles are clean and in perfect shape, the drivers experienced and careful. In short, I highly recommend this agency if you want to visit Perú without any worries .
Service was great, I adore the tour, all stuff and most of them Miriam 🙏 but avoid contact with Caesar - absolutely unprofessional, who will just waste your time for nothing 🤬
Excellent service and always on time, it was a very good experience. I would travel with you again guys, thank y for everything.
Lovely experience, the people were very friendly, the food was delicious, and the scenery was beautiful.
The tour was very good. We had wonderful time exploring Machu Pichu, Sacred Valley, Rainbow Mauntain and Cusco with experienced guides and we’ve been very impressed and satisfied with all the trip. Thank you very much.
Excelent experience visit Cusco, Valle Sagrado y MachuPichu. Guides with experience, hotels excelent and very good meals Thank you for all
