It was my first visit to Peru, and meeting Machu Picchu was a dream of years ago. The experience was fascinating: the place, its culture, its food, its people and all its attractions are just amazing. You have to be aware of the height those who are not used to it, there are alternatives of solution nonetheless. The weather's not that harsh. Suitable clothing not so heavy. Be in the peak moments relaxed!

The experience of this excursion was very challenging for us, as the second day was very demanding, and we doubted if we would succeed but the accompaniment of our guide Willman was more than strategic and container. I did a part on horseback, which is an adventure plus experience. Transitioning this experience is unforgettable. The service from the start with Rosmeri was excellent, and during the trip with Wilman, (guide), Ruben (horseman) and Felix (cook) we felt feted all the time. I have a gluten-free diet and Felix cooked for me and others in a very careful and professional way. We rented the sleeping bags with distrust, and they were spotless with an internal cover that makes it super hygienic. It's just thanks to all of them, who took care of us and gestured towards us from start to finish.

I did the Salkantay road with my girlfriend and we went with Peru Top Experience on Recommendation of friends. The tour is spectacular, although demanding. I recommend making sure you are in good physical condition to enjoy it. You will know the “natural” part of the road to Machu Picchu (unlike the Inca Trail which is more cultural). — Separate paragraph for our Guide William, a freak. In addition to knowing a lot about Inca history and the road, he is a super friendly, companion and didactic person. He has a lot of insight to understand the needs of the group and adapt the trip to them. Together with Fausto (our cook), they made a great team, super resolute (they helped me recover money that I had forgotten in a camp hours away by coordinating the solution between those responsible for different camps so that one would give me the money I had left in the other), and made sure that we were always comfortable and at ease. I recommend you ask to travel with the two of you! You will not regret :)

We did the 4 day Salkantay trek and it was amazing! We walked through the mountain seeing spectacular scenery until we reached Aguas Calientes, where the reward on the last day was to reach Machu Picchu. I recommend taking the entrance to Waynapicchu! Special thanks to William who accompanied us step by step telling us in detail all about Cuzco and its culture and of course everything about Machu Picchu. Ask that the tour be with him! And with Faust, the chef. They're a great team!

This experience was the best that could have happened to me, I didn't know I needed this trip until I did it, the hike from Salkantay to Machupicchu was a great choice. The landscapes were incredible, the path beautiful and the company unmatched. The attention that those from Peru Top Experience gave us was the best, the best food and the best stay. A trip that can reunite you with yourself and without a doubt you would repeat it again.
