Taray look out. our Certified guide will show you our first stop and point out a panoramic landscape view of the sacred valley of the Incas, the snow-capped mountains, the willcamayu river, a propitious moment to take memorable pictures, where our certified guide will explain about the place.
Once we get to the archeological site, our certified guide will start the tour in Pisaq, One of the main attractions of Pisac is the Inca ruins, which are located on a hill overlooking the town. The ruins consist of agricultural terraces, residential areas, and ceremonial buildings, and are believed to have been constructed in the 15th century by the Inca emperor Pachacuti, our certified guide will also show you the market which takes place every Sunday and attracts vendors from all over the region. Visitors can find a wide variety of traditional handicrafts, textiles, jewelry, and other products, as well as enjoy traditional Peruvian food.
Once we get to the main atraction, our certified guide will give you a general information about this unique place, The salt mines consist of thousands of small salt pools, which are carved into the mountainside. The pools are filled with saltwater from a nearby natural spring, which evaporates under the sun, leaving behind crystallized salt. The salt is then harvested by hand using traditional methods, and sold in local markets. The history of the salt mines dates back to pre-Inca times, and the methods used for salt production have remained largely unchanged over the centuries. The salt produced in Maras is known for its high quality and unique flavor, and is used in many traditional Peruvian dishes. Visitors to the Maras Salt Mines can take a guided tour of the site, learn about the history and methods of salt production, and even participate in the salt harvesting process. The surrounding area is also known for its natural beauty, with stunning views of the mountains and valley.
Our certifed guide will explain about this unique series of circular terraces that resemble an amphitheater, with concentric rings that gradually decrease in size as they descend into the ground. The purpose of Moray is still unclear, but it is believed to have been used for agricultural experimentation and research by the Incas. The terraces are built in a way that creates microclimates, with temperature differences of up to 15°C (27°F) between the top and bottom levels. This allowed the Incas to study and cultivate different crops in different conditions, contributing to their knowledge of agriculture. The site is located in a beautiful natural setting, with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Visitors can also explore nearby villages and enjoy traditional Peruvian food and culture. Overall, Moray is a fascinating and unique archaeological site that offers a glimpse into the advanced knowledge and skills of the Incas in the fields of agriculture and engineering.
Our certified guide will explain about Ollantaytambo a town located in the Sacred Valley of Peru, approximately 72 kilometers (45 miles) northwest of the city of Cusco. It is an important archaeological site and a popular tourist destination due to its well-preserved Inca ruins and traditional Andean culture. it was once an important administrative and religious center for the Inca Empire. The ruins of Ollantaytambo consist of a massive fortress and temple complex that were built by the Incas using massive stone blocks that were quarried and transported from distant locations. The site features steep terraces, stone walls, and water channels, all of which are thought to have served both military and religious functions. Ollantaytambo is also known as the gateway to Machu Picchu, as it is the starting point for the famous Inca Trail trek to the ancient citadel. Many tourists also visit Ollantaytambo to experience traditional Andean culture, including music, dance, and handicrafts.
Our certified guide will be waiting for you at the arrival of your train at the station, to accompany you to your designated hotel and provide you with detailed information about the next day's tour: Pick up time the next day. Type of clothing to wear for the tour. What to bring for the tour. and give you some recommendations about places to taste Peruvian cuisine.

Jesus is an incredible tour guide and made sure we had an amazing time in Peru. He is so knowledgeable about the country’s history, animals, people, and sites, which made each stop on our tour so interesting. Jesus went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable and knew our way around, and he took each of our interests/comfort levels into account when determining our tour route. I can’t recommend Jesus enough to anyone visiting Peru, and hope that we will be able to travel with him again!
The most fabulous trip in the world! Jesús, what’s the most spectacular Guide who was so knowledgeable so organized and so patient with all of our family! This was honestly a trip of a lifetime! He had planned every last detail to make sure we were all comfortable!
Jesus is an amazing tour guide! He is so skilled at sharing his knowledge of the culture/history of the area with others! We had a wonderful experience and learned so much from him! He was very patient with us and took all the photos we wanted. We were so happy with our experience with him at Machu Picchu that we booked him for a tour of Cusco too!
There is a reason Eco Tours Peru was voted best in 2023! If you’re looking for a reliable, knowledge, kind and intelligent guide — Jesus is your man! He is not your average guide, he’s very smart about logistics, Incan history, and his passion for his work comes through clearly in the tours! He’s communicative in advance of the visit and answers all your questions before arriving and during your stay. You can count on him to give excellent restaurant recommendations too. We did the 12KM, 6 hour hike along the Incan trail and he set a sustainable pace, and encouraged us to take breaks anytime we wanted. We always felt safe in his care. He also took professional quality photos all along the way! Our visit was magical, not only because Peru is a beautiful place, but because Jesus was our guide. The only way to do Machu Picchu is through Eco Tours Peru!!!
Hello, my name is Anca and I am from Romania. Recently me and my partner visited Peru and Sacred Valley tour was up high on the MuST do things while in Peru. When Jesus picked us up for a private Sacred Valley tour, we were nice surprised to see that we will travel in a nice and new van which was very comfortable througout our journey: From the moment we saw Jesus we felt a warm and positive energy from him. He is a very knowledgeble man that loves what he does. we learned lots from him about peruvian culture, we laughed and felt like we knew him for much longer time than we actually did:) Jesus has lots of patience to answer any question you might have and he has a sense of humor and a contagious smile:) We will definetly use his services next time we will go to Peru and recomand him to everyone we know. Thank you Jesus..eith your help our vacation was that more wonderful!
Jesus is quite frankly the best money myself and my partner spent in Peru. His kindness coupled with his vast passion and knowledge for the various cultures found in Peru were next to none. He went above and beyond to ensure my partner and I had an amazing trip to Machu Picchu. A lot of tour guides nowadays will try and rush through their tours, whereas Jesus spent every posible second with us explaining, laughing, and answering all posible questions we had. He speaks phenomenal english, and even provided additional suggestions on where to go on the rest of our trip in Peru. Muchos Gracias Jesus!
I spent a wonderful day birding in the mountains with Jesus. It was a long day and I enjoyed ever minute of it. Jesus is extremely knowledgeable and professional. The birding was excellent! Jesus asking me in the morning if there were any birds I really wanted to see and I mentioned the Many-colored Rush Tyrant. As the sun was setting we hit one last spot and got a great look at one. It was an amazing end to a great day! In addition to the birding, I really enjoyed Jesus’ company and our conversation. I felt like I was birding with an old friend and I hope to return to Peru soon so we can do it again!
Yesterday I took a private tour to the Sacred Valley and the experience was wonderful. Jesus was a lovely guide: close, patient and very attentive at all times. Besides being punctual and professional, it made us feel very comfortable throughout the tour. I was very happy with the tour and its accompaniment. I highly recommend it.
We had a truly memorable experience in the Sacred Valley. From the beginning, the service stood out for its excellent organization and punctuality. Our guide demonstrated first-rate professionalism, combining close and friendly treatment with a deep command of the place, its history and culture. His outstanding English proficiency facilitated clear and enriching communication, allowing us to understand and enjoy every moment of the tour. Thanks to his dedication and knowledge, the visit was transformed into an unforgettable and highly recommended trip.
We (in 4 friends) did the two-night-three-day tour. Everything was perfect: we were accompanied from the first to the last moment on a journey beyond expectations. The guide, Jesus, along with all his staff took care of every single aspect: Timeline, communication, timing, food and accommodation. They have dedicated their entire days to us, a rare value as other agencies organize tours with much larger groups of people thus not guaranteeing the attention and time necessary to fully enjoy the magical place that is Manu National Park. Driver Benjamin was always reliable and safe during the many hours of travel. The food management (breakfasts, lunches and dinners) was optimal, listening to needs / intolerances and offering typical dishes. Accommodation was clean and equipped with mosquito nets and private bathroom. A special thanks goes to Jesus, a wonderful person who transmitted all his passion making us excited. King of the sighting. An experience we will always remember!
The best experience of the whole trip, would return to Peru only to repeat the path of the Inca. Our guide, Carlitos, has been amazing, always attentive to our needs and the explanations were amazing. Jesus, our driver, helped us manage everything in a simple way without having to worry about us. I recommend it 100%!
We made the Inca road + visit to Machu Picchu with Charles and Jesus. I haven't had a more wonderful experience in my life. Carlos has been a guide 10 and has accompanied us every moment. The organization of Jesus also spectacular. 100000% recommended.
Everything perfect very helpful and earrings. Always trying to make everything as comfortable and the best experience. We wanted to overtake the train and Charles and Jesus did everything we could to get it. Charles the guide of the path of the charming Inca, explained very well and very good friendly.
Excellent everything, great dedication and effort. The best guide for Cusco and Machu Picchu. Great knowledge of the culture of the Incas, very friendly and responsible in coordinations
Jesus planned this perfectly and it was a wonderful day. Our German guide Hamilton speaks perfect German and has explained MacuPicchu very extensively but entertainingly.
The experience of traveling alone through Eco Peru Tours was wonderful, the logistics, the guides are very pending and very professional in their work, the hotels very complete organized, the food that is within the plan is very good and overall the gastronomy you find in cusco is excellent, I recommend 100% Eco Peru Tours.
The experience was unbeatable. Jesús is passionate about what he does and it shows in his explanations, anecdotes and advice. Recommended 100%z
Fantastic trip!! The dream trip has come true. The organization and relationship with Jesús is unsurpassed, a guide who, on the one hand, shows the experience he has in organizing trips of this type and on the other hand, the kindness and flexibility he shows with the group. I have felt as if I were traveling with a lifelong companion. Thank you Jesus.
The landscapes are dreamlike and, if you like birds like me, then you will enjoy observing unique and spectacular species. The professionalism and kindness of Jesús as a guide was a very important part of having a super pleasant and safe stay. In addition, this company offers you a round trip from the airport, with a warm welcome to begin your adventure and then return to your city. Peru is a beautiful country and Eco Peru Tours is your best option without a doubt =)
Unforgettable experience when visiting Machu Picchu. Jesus' explanations were interesting as well as entertaining. We enjoyed a leisurely life, without stress, in contrast to other groups of visitors. Jesús was always very attentive, especially to the photos, recommending the best places and angles. Highly recommended!
