Highly recommend Felix is the best very knowledgeable
Our 2 day Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu tour was amazing and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. We began in the Sacred Valley by visiting a local alpaca farm, where we saw llamas, alpacas, a condor and even guinea pigs. This fun and unique stop helped us appreciate Andean culture even more. Next, we visited Pisac an impressive Inca site high in the mountains. The views were stunning and our guide Victor made the visit special with his knowledge and clear explanations about the site's history and importance. His passion made the ruins feel alive. After that, we had a tasty buffet lunch at a local restaurant in Urubamba. In the afternoon we explored Ollantaytambo, a beautiful Inca town with huge stone terraces and an interesting history. Later, we took the train to Aguas Calientes and stayed overnight at La Jaya Machu Picchu Hotel. The hotel was very comfortable and even had a jacuzzi, which was a great way to relax before our visit to Machu Picchu. On the second day, we visited Machu Picchu. It was cloudy at first, but after waiting a bit, the weather cleared and we got amazing views of the citadel. Victor was patient and gave us a great walking tour, explaining the history, architecture and mysteries of Machu Picchu in detail. In the afternoon, we took the 1:30 pm train back to Ollantaytambo, where our driver Juan met us at the station. He drove us safely back to our hotel in Cusco, making the trip back simple and stress-free. This tour was well organized, informative and truly unforgettable. Thank you to Qoricancha Expeditions Victor, Juan and the whole team for giving us such a great experience. They are professional, friendly and we highly recommend them.
Our experience with Qoricancha Expeditions was seamless from the initial contact. María, our travel advisor, responded promptly, provided clear itinerary details, and assisted with our hike preparations. All logistics, including tickets, transportation, hotel arrangements, and packing recommendations, were managed efficiently. We felt fully supported throughout, which made the experience both stress-free and enjoyable. Our group consisted of five hikers, creating a personal and engaging atmosphere. We met our guide, Víctor, at the train station early in the morning. He immediately demonstrated professionalism and courtesy. The hike began at Km 104, with a visit to Chachabamba, followed by a scenic ascent through mountain trails featuring orchids, waterfalls, and impressive views. Víctor provided valuable insights into Inca history, traditions, and the importance of each site. We paused for a boxed lunch near Wiñay Wayna, a notable ruin along the Inca Trail with remarkable views. Víctor assisted with group photos and maintained an appropriate hiking pace. The small group size encouraged connections among travelers, creating a welcoming and collaborative environment. Arriving at the Sun Gate (Inti Punku) in the afternoon provided a memorable view of Machu Picchu emerging through the mist, despite some cloud cover. We then continued to Aguas Calientes and stayed at Hotel La Jaya, a modern and comfortable hotel with a jacuzzi that offered welcome relaxation after the trek. The following morning, we took an early bus to Machu Picchu for a guided tour. Víctor’s explanations enhanced our understanding of the citadel’s history and significance. We appreciated the well coordinated and meaningful experience. Qoricancha Expeditions exceeded our expectations and is an excellent choice for those seeking a well-organized, small-group adventure in Cusco.
We had an amazing time with Qoricancha Expeditions on the 2 day Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu tour. Right from our first email, Erika, our travel advisor, stood out for her professionalism. She answered all our questions, made thoughtful adjustments for our family, and made sure we had all the information we needed. The itinerary she provided was clear and detailed, which helped us feel at ease before we even got to Peru. Juan guided us through the Sacred Valley, and he quickly became one of our favorite guides. His energy and humor made the day fun, and he shared fascinating stories about the Inca culture. We explored Pisac, Moray, and the Salt Mines, then went on to Ollantaytambo, where Juan showed us around the ruins with real enthusiasm. He also gave us helpful photography tips, so we could take great photos to remember the trip. After the train ride to Aguas Calientes, we checked in at La Jaya Hotel, which was an absolute gem. The rooms were modern and beautifully decorated, and the jacuzzi was the perfect way to rest our legs after a day full of exploring. The staff was attentive and kind, which made our short stay feel very special. The next morning was the best part: visiting Machu Picchu. Juan took us through famous spots like the Temple of the Sun and the Main Plaza, showing us details we never would have noticed ourselves. His stories made the place come alive. After that, we hiked up Huayna Picchu. It was steep and challenging, but reaching the top and seeing Machu Picchu from above was unforgettable. We came back to Cusco feeling tired but very happy. Erika organized everything perfectly, and Juan’s guidance made the trip special, so we never had to worry about the details. All the tickets, transfers, hotel, and meals were arranged for us, so we could just enjoy the adventure. It was an experience we’ll always remember.

The two day Moray Maras tour to Machu Picchu provided comprehensive exposure to significant archaeological and cultural sites. The initial day included visits to the agricultural terraces of Moray and the salt mines of Maras, both of which exemplify Incan engineering and innovation. The guide, Victor, demonstrated extensive knowledge and effectively communicated detailed information throughout the tour. Travel through the Sacred Valley offers immersion in a landscape characterized by mountains and traditional villages. The itinerary is structured to provide sufficient time at each site, minimizing haste. By evening, participants are transported to Aguas Calientes, where accommodations are arranged in advance. The small group format facilitates a more focused and efficient experience. The highlight was the guided tour of Machu Picchu the next morning. Victor enhanced the experience by sharing the site's history, legends, and key viewpoints. His guidance deepened our appreciation for both the beauty and spiritual significance of Machu Picchu. On the way back to Cusco, we took the Vistadome Observatory train, which has big windows, live music, and comfy seats. The tour mixes history, culture, and nature into just two days. It’s a great choice if you want to see more than just Machu Picchu.

Hiking the Inca Trail with Qoricancha Expeditions was one of the best experiences of my life. Every detail was taken care of, from camping gear to hot tea in the morning. Arriving at Machu Picchu through the Sun Gate felt like a dream
I booked the Inca Trail with Qoricancha Expeditions and everything was perfectly arranged — from permits to train tickets. The guides were knowledgeable, the porters were inspiring, and the food exceeded all expectations.
When I arrived, the city was hidden by mist. As the sun rose, the fog slowly lifted, revealing the ruins piece by piece. It felt like watching a secret world emerge from the clouds.
Every corner of Machu Picchu is picture-perfect. From llamas grazing on the terraces to the precision of the stonework, it’s a dream for anyone who loves photography. I could have spent days capturing every detail.
The guides share fascinating stories about Inca history, traditions, and the sacred meaning of the trail. Passing through archaeological sites that are only accessible by foot gives you a deep appreciation for the Inca civilization. It feels more like a pilgrimage than just a hike.
From the moment we reached out, we were impressed with how quickly Erika, our travel advisor, responded to our emails. Our driver, David, was punctual and professional, ensuring a smooth and comfortable ride throughout the valley. We visited an alpaca farm, Pisac ruins, and the colorful Pisac market before continuing to Ollantaytambo. Each stop was fascinating, but what made the difference was our guide, Edy. His knowledge of Inca history and culture brought each site to life in a way we’ll never forget. That afternoon, we boarded the train to Aguas Calientes, enjoying stunning views of the Urubamba River along the way. Upon arrival, everything had been arranged in advance, including our stay at La Jaya Hotel, which was a treat. The comfortable rooms and jacuzzi were just what we needed to relax after a day of exploring, leaving us refreshed and ready for Machu Picchu the next morning. The second day was all about exploring the Inca citadel. Edy guided us through Machu Picchu with passion and depth, pointing out details most visitors would miss.
