From start to finish, this tour was so well organized. Our tour guide, Victor, met with us at our hotel the night before to brief us on the hike, run through train times and our tickets, and ensure we were prepared for the coming two days. We were picked up from our hotel in an extremely comfortable vehicle and driven to Ollantaytambo where we boarded the train toward Macchu Picchu. Disembarking at KM 104, we started our hike - and what an experience it was! Victor was so knowledgeable about the history of the Incas, the architecture, and the surrounding landscape and fauna. We hiked through and saw multiple Inca sites including Chachabamba and Wiñay Wayna, before arriving at Macchu Picchu in the afternoon. It made our trip to Machu Picchu even more rewarding, seeing it from the Sun Gate for the first time. We then spent the night in Aguas Calientes at a nice hotel organized by FLY CUSCO and had dinner with our tour guide in a lovely restaurant. The following day, we went to Machu Picchu for sunrise - another incredible experience - and missed all of the tourists. It felt like we had the entire place to ourselves! Victor, again, was incredibly knowledgeable and I felt like I appreciated it far more because of this - and he took some incredible photos and videos of us too! We then had plenty of time to enjoy the town of Aguas Calientes before heading back to our hotel in the Sacred Valley.

Itinerary
Day 1
1
Our tour will start in the city of Cusco, picking you up from your hotel at 06:00 am. Together with your guide and our tourist transport, you will go to the Ollantaytambo train station. Here you will board your expedition class train, this trip will last approximately 1:30 hrs, on board you will appreciate the mountains and glaciers of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. After an hour, the landscape will have a radical change as we enter through the tropical forests and arrive at km 104, where our starting point to the Inca trail is located.
Before starting the walk, we will access the main control point with our personal documentation and tickets that our company had previously organized. The hike will start to visit an archaeological site called Chachabamba and will have a moderate climb with an exuberant biodiversity, especially flora, since in this area there are many endemic orchids and fern species. After a few hours we will arrive at another archaeological site called Wiñay wayna in which your expert guide will explain better about its ancient function.
We will continue our trek and we will arrive at the last camp of the trekkers of the Inca trail of 4 days, continuing with our adventure; This part of the trail is easier until reaching Inti Punku (Puerta del Sol). At this point we will have the first view of the Citadel of Machu Picchu. After taking our photos, we will continue for another 40 minutes downhill until we reach Machu Picchu and visit it. Finally, our walk ends and we will board our bus to the city of Aguas Calientes, where you will stay in a 3-star hotel.
Day 2
2
We advise starting this day very early in the morning for several reasons: to have the opportunity to see the sunrise in the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, to take the famous postcard photo of the citadel without many people inside, and also to avoid long Lines to get to Machu Picchu. Once in the Inca citadel, you will have a tour of all the most important streets and points knowing the history with your private guide around 2:30 hrs. After finishing the tour, you will board the bus with our guide to Aguas Calientes where the train station is located and then you will have enough time for lunch (not included), and then you will take the train according to the schedule established for the Ollantaytambo train station. From here, our driver will pick you up in our private transport and take you to the city of Cusco, directly to your hotel.
