Outstanding 2 day experience with Jhon, who brings great knowledge of the history and was a great travel partner for my time exploring the Inca trail and Machu Pichu. Highly recommended.

We wanted an escorted trip from arrival at Cusco airport to Machu Picchu and back to Cusco airport. Edwin delivered on transport, guide, hotels, and recommendations for restaurants. Great trip.
We booked this tour two weeks out from the start date. We were promised a hike on day 1 to Machu Picchu. We paid for a private transfer, a tour of Inca ruins, a hike through the sun gate, a scenic lunch, and a dinner that night. We got none of that. Instead of a private transfer, we were put into a car share with four random people, we got no information as to who these people were (they clearly were not tourists), we just trusted that they understood us and we were indeed going to the right place! Needless to say we were incredibly uncomfortable during the entire journey. We drove for two hours to Olabtatombo in a car instead of a private bus. We were then dropped to our hotel in Aguas Calientas at 8am and told that there was nothing else on for the rest of that day until our tour of Machu Picchu the following morning! We paid for a two day Inca tour hike and we didn’t get it. We probably got 1/3 of what was advertised!! Throughout this, the tour operator, Edwin, was extremely unprofessional and had shocking communication skills. Even down to details like our bus to and from Machu Picchu: he told us he booked a return but he actually only booked us a one way ticket. He gave us little to no information and was happy to give us 1/3 of what was advertised, while charging us the full amount. We actually calculated how much the tour would have cost us if we just did it ourselves, and it worked about at costing about €400 total for two people. Shocking seeing as we paid €1200!! I can’t encourage people enough to avoid this tour. This operator doesn’t know what he is doing and will let you down at every hurdle. I would advise people to book with ANYONE else and do not trust this scam artist with your money!!
Our guide Jhon Valencias laid out everything for us, providing the train, bus, and entry tickets, making the experience incredibly easy. The views along the hike were great!
Jhon (Panda) was fantastic. He had great knowledge of the history and area, spoke fluent English and was a great laugh too.
The host was best in class. Knowledge and passion was 10/10
Jhon was a great guide! We enjoyed learning from his expansive knowledge of the Incas and Machu Picchu. He was fun and made everyone feel comfortable!
Jhon was helful nice and fun we could found à better guide!
Excellent tour operator. Our experience was incredible and our guide was very knowledgeable and responsive. We had to make a last minute amendment to our trip and they were able to adapt and accommodate our itinerary almost immediately. They are professional and well connected and will make sure your trip is a 5 star experience. Highly recommended!
Jhon was amazing. Thanks for the wonderful trip.
This was an incredible tour. Jhon was an amazing tour guide and I would absolutely recommend this tour to everyone.
Jhon was an incredible tour guide who led our group of five students on a humble, respectful, and ultimately magic journey through the history and beautiful landscape of macchu picchu. If you, your friends, or your family are trying to truly experience the beauty of macchu picchu with a guide that makes you want to come back next month or even the day after, Jhon is your guy!!!!!!!
Jhon was incredible. He took us up and was nice to us, spoke perfect english, had a great sense of humor, set a good pace for us, took many pictures of us, and felt like a friend on our trip.
Jhon was an amazing tour guide. He got us up there early so we got unobstructed views and pictures ahead of the other tourists. Highly recommend you request Jhon if you can.
The trip was very well organised with our tour company ,Inca Path Peru, walking you thru every step of the excursion. Our tour guide Jimmy was outstanding who kept us in a good pace hiking on the short Inca Trail and went through all the details of this amazing place. Visiting Machu Picchu is an experience you will never forget and we highly recommend Inca Path to everyone who wants visit Peru.
Guido was an excellent guide. Friendly, knows a lot about the inka culture and funny. It was very nice to meet him and spent time with him
Majestic tour of Machu Pichu, Edwin is very responsive, friendly and helpful. Alfred has a passion for history, culture and food and is an excellent guide. 10/10 would recommend
This was an excellent tour. Whether you are short on time or just prefer to do a shorter part of the Inca trail this tour does not disappoint. Our guide Jhimmy was amazing. I have some knee issues and he was very patient and made several stops. He also was very knowlegeable. We passed several ruin sites along the way to Machu Picchu. Highly recommend!
Jhimmy was really nice and guided about the place really well. The tour was amazing as he made sure to take places where I wanted to go. Highly recommend doing wayanapichu trek. Other treks are good but don't miss this.
I would like to start by thanking our guide, Rodrigo, for the tour. He was friendly and patient. However, I cannot recommend this tour due to its disorganization, which I believe is the fault of Viator and our tour operator, Edwin. Each person's tour cost was $600, and the management was terrible. We had tickets for the Inca Trail and Machu Picchu. Unfortunately, my partner wasn't feeling well and canceled, but our tour company said he could go directly to Machu Picchu. I agreed to complete the Inca Trail myself. After finishing, I found out that the Peruvian government changed the rule: if your ticket includes both the Inca Trail and Machu Picchu, you must finish the trail to access Machu Picchu, regardless of illness or injury. I had been asking our tour operator for details over the past weeks, yet he provided no information, claiming he was unaware, despite being in the tourism business in Peru. Viator never mentioned the strenuous over six-hours of hike or ticket policies. Although I insisted, the tour company eventually repurchased our tickets for $50 each, but the process was a nightmare. Aside from paying for the tickets, they offered no assistance. Rodrigo stayed with us throughout, seemingly unaware of these issues. As a result, our tour company didn’t cover one of our tickets. The hotel breakfast was unappealing, consisting of a dry sandwich, a banana, and yogurt. However, dinner the previous night was delicious, and the Inca Trail lunch was satisfactory. The hotel in Aguas Calientes was decent, though warmer than Cusco, lacking a fan or AC. With the windows open, the noise made it hard to sleep. Despite these setbacks, the first view of Machu Picchu at sunrise with my partner and the Inca Trail hike were unforgettable. Nonetheless, both Viator and the tour operator failed to meet expectations. Both Viator and tour operator were acted incompetent and greedy. You guys are charging $600 for one person where it is literally a $200 service. That is mobbing. And saying sorry or apologizing doesn't work.
Edy and Rosmel were our tour guides, and they were absolutely wonderful—knowledgeable, helpful, and genuinely kind. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the tour, from the well-organized schedule to the delicious food and scenic trails. The hotel was comfortable as well. Thank you both for making this journey so memorable for us. We will never forget your warm hospitality!
Jhimmy was an excellent guide. He was exceptionally knowledgeable in Inca culture and history, and treated our family like his own. We can’t wait to go back to Peru and will definitely ask for Jhimmy to be our guide again. Machu Picchu was a trip of a lifetime thanks to Jhimmy. He speaks excellent English, Spanish and Quechua.
So incredibly happy with our choice to use Inka Path. Edwin took such good care to plan everything so well. The guides were incredible. The drivers were so skilled and great. They all took such great care to make this very memorable and absolutely seamless.
The tour was well organized and professional tour guide Stiven was super nice and generous guide. He share all his knowledge about Inca including history and nature and connection with history.
Super appreciated how this people work hard to make happy ! That are very nice and patient with us. Ending made us happy what we wanted to make.
Saw this tour on your website, paid for it and then 2 weeks before departure tour operator contacted me to say he couldn't get tickets for Inca trail after taking my payment for this. Offered a trip around sacred valley instead and he could get tickets to entry Macha Picchu on day 2 of our trip, so he knew I couldn't get tickets anywhere else for Macha Picchu at that point so I had to accept his offer and lose out on inca trail section. avoid this company
Edwin was helpful in helping us lock in our tours and experiences. The guides are great and service was on point. Pickups were on time and smooth.
A wonderful experience navigating the town of Aguas Calientes and Machu Picchu. Although there were some changes to the Inca trail part of the trip (because of an unusual demand surge that made the news), the team worked with me to provide an amazing experience showing me around the town including the thermal baths, local mountains and terrain, and helping me secure a ticket to Machu Picchu (included in price) and climb one of the world’s wonders. I will say the trip is somewhat physically demanding and requires numerous modes of transport to travel from Cusco to Aguas Calientes. However, the booking includes private shuttle and train tickets on a train with panoramic views of the most incredible sights. Jhimmy was one of the most knowledgeable and best tour guides I have ever worked with. 10/10 Experience.
Amazing Experience with Our Guide Guido! Our two-day trip to Machu Picchu was unforgettable, thanks to our incredible guide, Guido. In Aguas Calientes, we had a great time—from visiting the waterfall and butterfly museum to discovering hidden gems we wouldn’t have found on our own. Guido shared fantastic tips on restaurants and places to go, and he helped us discover so much. At Machu Picchu, he took his time explaining every detail and its rich history. Highly recommend!
Great trip! Guido went above and beyond to make our experience unforgivable. He was very friendly, taught us so much about his culture, had great recommendations about everything and took amazing pictures. We really feel like we have seen the most of Aguas Calientes and Machu Picchu. 100% recommend 🦙
Amazing experience from start to finish. We got to hike the beautiful mountains and relive history. Jimmy was our tour guide and we highly recommended him. Took his time to explain all the details and waited for us hiking the tough trails. Went over the major history points of Machu Picchu along the way.
The tour is the best experience of my life I highly recommend Olga is the best of the west I did enjoy since day one all the way I’m so glad I choose Olga company
I want to say a big thank you to Olga from the bottom of my heart The trip with Olga is an extraordinary experience The experience of nature with the fun, joy and peace of Olga turns out to be an unforgettable experience We will be happy to come back and recommend to more people after the experience we had
Such an incredible experience. Our guides were so informative and patient. We are so grateful to have had them whilst we explored on of the wonders of the world. The bike was a little challenging, but very worth it. I would recommend this tour to anybody who wants to see Machu Picchu
WE BOOKED A 2 DAYS INCA TRAIL TOUR WITH THE INCA PATH AGENCY FROM OUR COUNTRY, ON THE RECOMMENDATION OF SOME FRIENDS AND EVERYTHING WENT VERY WELL, THE GUIDE WAS VERY EXCELLENT, THE HOTEL WAS VERY GOOD, THE FOOD AND THE AGENCY'S ORGANIZATION WAS PERFECT AND I RECOMMEND THIS TOUR AND THE AGENCY. THANK YOU VERY MUCH TO THE AGENCY AND THE STAFF.
Although the trip was a little expensive, (they all are) it was worth every penny. Our guide Alfredo was incredible with his knowledge of the Inca and had a great personality as well. On a side note I spent my birthday there on a solo trip and Alfredo arranged to give me a birthday desert and song from the whole group and restaurant...A truly incredible adventure experience that I wish to remember for the rest of my life time.
My freind and I had an amazing time! the staff are very knowledgeable, thoughtful and friendly. I highly recommend thier service
This was a great hike on the Inca trail to Machu Picchu. Our guide Alfredo Cruz is an expert and very knowledgeable about Inca trails and Machu Picchu. The hike with Alfredo was not just a physical endeavour on the epic Inca trails, but also a series of lessons/discussions from him about the Inca civilization (practice, culture, theory, etc) and the great Andes. Unforgettable hikes with spectacular mountain view and intellectual exchange!
Best thing was walking up to Machu Picchu before sunrise, and to see first sunlight ray on ruins. Also I liked track from Hydroelectra to Agua Calientes.
The trip was amazing, the tour operator was also brilliant. He spoke excellent English, gave a very detailed description of the trip and it was the best value for money we could find in Cusco. Included lunch, dinner and a packed breakfast for the following day. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good value trip to Machu Picchu. Thanks!!
Excellent agent Good value for money Tour was amazing Definately recommend Inca Path Peru! Thank you so much
Perfectly organized overall event, starting with meeting the guide the evening before at our hotel. On the 1st Day: Transfer and meeting at the entrance to the short Inca Trail and very responsible care by the guide, individually until dinner together. On the 2nd Day: Pick-up and informative conversations during the accompaniment in Machu Picchu, with many informative explanations about the site and the history of the Inca. We felt very comfortable and especially thank our guide, Jhon, for the good conversations, the fun, and his dedication.
Very good experience, the biking and rafting day was exceptional. The hike along the railroad tracks is very pleasant and Machu Picchu is fantastic! Thank you!
THE BEST EXPERIENCE! I want to thank you for the excellent work of Inca Path. From the start the communication with Edwin was clear and very professional. They always answered all my questions quickly and made me feel calm during the process. At first I was a little afraid to hire their services because I didn’t know what to expect, but they honestly exceeded all my expectations. They were extremely punctual, organized and each activity went perfectly. Everything went perfectly and exceeded my expectations. I would definitely rehire them and highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for reliable and high quality service. Thank you so much for doing such a well done job!
The short-term organization of Edwin was very good. We were always able to reach him and also call with questions. We could also request special requests with. The tour guide jhimy was very nice always had the right info in stock. The speed was also well chosen. The prepared food. (We chose the vegetarian option) was very delicious and also a great portion. The transport there was excellently organized and the train journey on time. Unfortunately, there were a few discrepancies on the way back, which were quickly and satisfactorily resolved after a conversation with Edwin.
Excellent tour, all well organized, punctual and very friendly. Always watch out for you, watch out at all times. I loved it.
It was a varied, wonderful tour! Our guide Alfredo was awesome! We could laugh together and he told us an incredible amount about Peruvian history. Only the accommodation in Agua Calientes is old & not 100% clean. But that was an alternative to the actual accommodation.
It was great! Our guide Alfredo was very knowledgeable about the history of Machu Picchu. Knew all the insider tips and tricks to get tickets.
It was just perfect. Alfredo took great care of us from the first minute and made our holiday unique. His friendly and interested nature has made every experience even more beautiful. Especially during our visit to Machu Picchu he explained everything to us excellently, and saying goodbye to him was really difficult for us. Both the return journey and the pick-up have worked absolutely smoothly. Would definitely come back!
