Certainly not 4 star, probably only 2 star. The rooms are very small and poky with no air-conditioning. Our room was so stuffy, I requested a fan and kept the door open to get some fresh air, as the room had no external windows. Ther room had no natural light or ventilation - which is very bad for health. So the room standard detracted from the whole hotel.
On the plus side there was a good breakfast and a drink station (water and Coca Tea) was at the reception level.
Generally, the staff were friendly and helpful.
Absolutely the best service! The bellman knew our names, our room numbers, were so incredibly helpful. The hotel is about a 8-10 minute walk to the center, which is always super busy so it was nice to be a little bit a way. You can get a really cheap taxi if you don’t want to walk. Breakfast buffet was amazing every morning, vegan and gluten free options. Great coffee too! The rooms were great! Also walking distance to the inka site of Qorikancha!
We did the inka trail and the hotel stored our baggage too, it was secure and organized!

I had the worst experience at this hotel. At 9 p.m., a staff member suddenly walked in my room. I was asleep at the time, and the staff unlocked and opened the door of my room and suddenly came in. I called the reception and asked the reason why, but they said it was because of housekeeping. Which hotel does housekeeping at 9 p.m.? And I even hung a no-disturb sign in front of the room. The experience at this hotel was so unpleasant and frightening. There will be no other hotel in this world that is so rude and doesn't make sense. He might have stolen my stuff. Safety is the most important thing, so I recommend you to reserve another hotel.
Fantastic hotel. All of the workers are wonderful at remembering your name and interacts very well. Everything was very clean. The food was wonderful and the inside of the hotel was also very beautiful and very scenic. Five out of five stars. Thank you to Alex and Gabriella, especially. Jackson had a wonderful time.
Terrible rooms, no air conditioning. Rooms that face inwards have no windows and no air conditioning and no ventilation. Asked for a room change and was given less than acceptable response from staff member. Asked for a fan and got an industrial fan that sounded like a jet plain. As a result got very unwell due to the heat of the room. My advice, pick somewhere else. Additionally the hotel is very noisy.
