One of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had! From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we were treated with such genuine care and kindness. We were warmly greeted before we even walked through the doors, and the exceptional service continued throughout our entire stay. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, and I loved learning about its history. The location couldn’t be better—it’s close to the city center and within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, and everything we wanted to explore in Cusco. The breakfast buffet each morning was spectacular! There was such an incredible variety, and one of my favorite touches was the fresh honeycomb dripping with honey. It was those thoughtful details that made the experience so special. The courtyard is beautiful and peaceful, and it quickly became one of my favorite places to enjoy a morning coffee before heading out for the day. Our room was wonderful and stocked with so many thoughtful amenities—fresh bottled water, chocolates, slippers, and nightly turndown service. Every detail made us feel welcomed and cared for. If I ever return to Cusco, I honestly can’t imagine staying anywhere else. This hotel was an unforgettable part of an already incredible trip, and I highly recommend it!

I recently stayed at Palacio del Inka for 5 nights. The hotel is gorgeous and the staff were very friendly. The team cleaned my room daily and made sure I had everything I needed. Breakfast was included in my stay. When I couldn’t stay for breakfast, the restaurant team always gave me a little box to take some items with me. If you have an early morning excursion, they place grab and go items by the check in desk starting at 4:00am that you can help yourself to. All of the food I was able to try was so good and fresh. I did have an issue booking at the spa and ended up going to the Belmond Monasterio hotel, but outside of that small issue I would still strongly recommend Palacio. There is couple of vendors that are located in the courtyard area. The vendors have an adorable alpaca guests can spend time with. The items sold are reasonably priced compared to the vendors outside of the hotel. If I ever visit Cusco again, palacio will be the first choice for me given it’s location and great team.
Old preserved building right next to the historic site of Qorikancha. Upon arrival the entire staffs are welcoming and good introduction. They give you coca tea for the high altitude and they even have a baby alpaca in their courtyard which was a highlight! Also they had the World Cup showcasing in their main bar. Special thanks to the concierge Elmer who was so kind in assisting us with all sorts of arrangements. We moved to JW Marriott and he effortlessly assisted us in transporting our luggage there while we went to Machu Pichu and he had assisted us with transportation even post our stay. Thank you Elmer!!
This hotel completely destroyed what should have been a pleasant experience. I booked 2 nights through Agoda/Expedia, and my reservation clearly stated that the booking was paid in full and that no additional payment was required. Imagine my shock when, at checkout, they suddenly presented me with an extra bill for almost $100 in so-called "facility fees." If these fees are mandatory, why weren't they included in the booking price? It feels deceptive and like a classic bait-and-switch. Travelers deserve honest pricing, not unpleasant surprises at the end of their vacation. The checkout experience left a terrible final impression. Instead of leaving with good memories, I left feeling misled and taken advantage of. I would never stay here again, and I strongly recommend that anyone considering this hotel read the fine print very carefully—or better yet, choose a hotel that is transparent about its pricing. Hidden charges have no place in the hospitality industry. If the facility fee was not disclosed anywhere in your Agoda or Expedia booking, you have a strong basis to dispute it with the booking platform. If it was disclosed in the fine print, you can still criticize the lack of transparency, but it's better not to claim it was completely hidden if that's not the case.
My family and I spent four wonderful nights at Palacio del Inka. Every member of the staff was incredibly warm and welcoming. Wherever we went, we were greeted with genuine smiles, which made us feel truly at home. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options, and the hotel’s location could not have been better. After being upgraded to a room with a great view, we were pleasantly surprised to witness the Inti Raymi (Festival of the Sun) procession setting off from the nearby Qorikancha Temple right from our window. It was an unexpected and unforgettable highlight of our trip. What stood out most during our stay, however, was the exceptional service. We encountered a communication issue regarding a transportation booking, but Daniel stepped in immediately and resolved the situation quickly and professionally. Thanks to his efforts, everything worked out in the best possible way, and we truly appreciated his dedication to helping us. Peru’s magnificent civilization and the kindness of its people have left a lasting impression on us. Thank you, Daniel, and the entire Palacio del Inka team, for making our stay so memorable.
