My instructor for my refresher dive was very informative. He helped me all along the way of preparing and understanding what we’re gonna do and then the execution of the refresher course. I had wished only that I brought my own mask that fit my face so I would have an easier time with the process.

Wonderful experience! Basil was so patient and helpful that it turned a stressful time into a memorable one. This was a great choice to make towards getting our scuba certification. We only wish we could stay longer and finish the process with him as our instructor! Thank you so much to Basil and all the staff at Chania Diving Center for taking such great care of our family.

My son and I did the try dive, and then went back to do another 2 dives so we could complete the first step of certification. It was great! The instructors and other staff were fantastic. We really enjoyed it and hope to go back.

Our two instructors for a family of three was the perfect ratio. Transport to and from the cruise port was simple and on time. The experience had a clear understanding of simple pricing safety (we had dove before) and both were personable and easy to communicate with. We had a great time and our daughter was able to scuba for the first time confidently.

My partner and I went on the tour in late October. It was a great experience, the guides were excellent and instructive and gave us full confidence for our first time. Would definitely do it again and recommend the Chania Diving Centre.

I want to start by saying that we had a fabulous time and that we were really well taken care of by our instructors the entire time - they were both wonderful! We did this in the beginning of October and the water was clear and warm and the dive locations were gorgeous! But if you think this is going to be Mickey Mouse scuba like at the Great Barrier Rief where they lower you on a platform and give you a rope to avoid compression issues - nope, this is the real deal. You will be suited up, asked to dive backwards in your gear off the boat, and then your instructor will help you lower to the sea floor about 10 meters deep, where you will do "skills" exercises, before starting to explore the dive. We felt totally safe the whole time and our instructors were always right by our sides, literally holding my hand most of the time. It was awesome but it was also very real and a couple of folks in our group had some panic jitters in the beginning. I think our dive was about half an hour which was just long enough to be able to get used to and enjoy being under water. After, we were taken to a different gorgeous place for another hour of snorkeling. We were also picked up and taken back to our BnB. We're really grateful for the whole experience and are super impressed with the professionalism of the entire team! So that there's no confusion, this trip is paired with the people who are getting certified but you don't get certified unless you do their full 3 day course and pass the test, so don't book this thinking you're going to get a short cut scuba certification ;).

From the moment we met our Driver, we knew this was going to be good. A really friendly guy, who spent time pointing out local interests along the journey. This level of customer service continued throughout the whole day. All the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and went the extra mile to make sure we had the best time. It was the first time my 15 old son and myself had been scuba diving, but Jorge and Christina were absolutely fantastic, having patience and taking time to explain everything and it really made us feel welcome and safe on board. We would 100% recommend this company to anyone thinking of trying scuba or snorkelling while in Crete.

Jared was our instructor, for me and my wife, we both had the most amazing time in and out of the water, Jared made us feel so comfortable and he is very knowledgeable about diving. We Couldn’t have asked for a better instructor to take us out for our first dive. this has been the highlight of our time in Greece. this is definitely something everybody needs to try… we both felt safe and was taught all the basic skills to keep safe underwater. the feeling of breathing and seeing all the fish in the water is amazing, We did have second thoughts before arriving but once we met Jared we knew that we made the right choice! if your reading this review then don’t think twice about using this company for a dive as it was 10/10 %100 amazing and I would certainly do this many times over again! While I did not actually book or experience anyhing through Chania Diving Center due to some unforseen circumstances that came up, I wanted to at least mention Christina at the front desk who I met as I was on my way to dinner. I'm a brand new Padi certified rookie diver and this would've been my first scuba experience. Christina provided all the necessary info, was very friendly and welcoming, and eased my obvious worries and nervousness as I clearly was hesitant to try my first dive away from the USA. I almost went but had to cancel last minute and she was MORE than accomodating and understanding about why I could not join. Christina if you read this, thanks yet again for your outstanding service! When I come back, I hope you're still there and will definitely book a scuba dive through you guys.

We had a cruise ship stop in Chania, and I booked this for my husband and son (I am already scuba certified) because they wanted to see if they liked scuba diving enough to want to get certified. This tour company picked them right up from the dock where our cruise ship docked and returned them too. My son and husband had a fabulous time, and my 18 year old son said it was his favorite tour/adventure that we did on this trip to Italy/Greece. Highly recommend.

Amazing afternoon. Our instructor was very nice but also have us clear and detailed explanations before diving. We felt safe all the way. We had the opportunity to also do snorkeling for free! The staff was also very patient with us afterwards, when they had to send over the pictures several time because I didn't receive them. All in all a wonderful experience.

My teenage niece suffered from a strong case of beginner scaries, and hesitated to sign up the day before. This was only until she talked to the coordinator at the desk, who explained the detailed process of intermediate checks the seasoned instructors follow to establish a comfort level before venturing a small distance deeper during the dive, and then they frequently repeat the comfort check. This enabled my niece to sign up, but the next day (right before the dive), the scaries came back. Fortunately, the diver, loanna, was not only an expert, she was convincing that this is truly worthwhile, and there's no worry about dangers. My niece felt comfortable and indulged in the short training with loanna. Loanna guided us very effectively, starting with shallow depths and gradually moving deeper, checking very frequently for potential issues during the dive. Surprisingly, my niece found it even more relaxing than our prior snorkeling experience. We maneuvered through a depth of 5 meters and explored the ocean floor. The expertise, careful interaction with us and control of the equipment by our diver truly enhanced our first diving experience. Highly recommend for first timers, esp teens.

Fantastic experience we as a family will remember forever. It must be said that the instructors were brilliant with us. Very clear with instructions and made us fell very welcome.

Just the best day out - from start to finish, very easy to work with in terms of booking and then great on the day - my family and I did the snorkelling and introductory dive - team were great on the boat and gave a good briefing - made to feel safe and very comfortable - better still, just got the pictures/video from our dive - great memories to keep - only apology is I have forgotten the names of the two that helped us on the boat !! - thanks again

Awesome, amazing experience for me and my children (10 and 11) , with wonderfully patient and professional instructors, drivers, and support staff. I cannot say enough good things about our trip today. My kids were excited and nervous but Ioanna and Yanni were incredible with them—I believe they instilled a love for diving in my novice kids that will last a lifetime. Beautiful cove, manageable depth, felt very safe and taken care of. Wonderful, prompt responses via WhatsApp/email from the support staff whom I did not meet but I am grateful for their support. Pick up was prompt and while we did wait a bit for others to arrive the space was shady and nice and we had plenty of time for our paperwork etc. Overall, would recommend and would come back for another experience with this company!

Great instructor but we went diving from the beach so we were max only 4 meters deep. And there wasn’t a lot of fishes to see…

During my scuba diving experience, I found that the instructors were very calm and helpful. I felt very safe during my whole experience. While the underwater instructors showed us various different kinds of fish and coral. I love seeing the fish especially when they came up close.

We really enjoyed our recent 'try scuba' in Crete and Iohanna (sp?) who was our instructor was brilliant. My son is only 16 and we did this together and now can't wait to go back to Crete and get certificated. I'd highly recommend this.

Our family of 4, inclusive of 2 teenagers, really enjoyed this excursion since our kids had never been scuba diving. Joana, our instructor, took pictures of our experience. I wished we would have seen more sea life, but it wasn’t the case.

It was an amazing experience, very nice and friendly instructors, even though we had some guys in our group who don’t know how to swim, the instructors were up to the task and help them to have the best time ever. Highly recommended for anyone wanna experience the sea beauty from beneath.

Great experience. Picked up from our airbnb rental (slightly late but that didn't matter to us, we were contacted to say pick up would be late, that was the main thing). Kitted out properly. Very clear instructions during briefing from Dimitri. Driven to the beach, tanks on & off we went. My 2 sons & I had never done this before so it was a brand new & amazing experience for all of us. I'd say the half hour was just about right, for a taster session. You don't need to be a good swimmer at all (which I'm not), just comfortable in water. Overall I'd strongly recommend this to anyone. Oh & the photos taken by Giannis were a really nice touch.

This was such a wonderful time! Not only the whole team was extremely kind and funny, but also very professional and full of empathy! I tried scuba before in my life and it wasn't my best experience, but in Crete I decided to give it one more try. Turned out I was panicking a bit when we started to dive, but instructor Joanna was holding my hand (literally) under the water which helped me a lot to break the spell of my first bad experience from the past. I felt so safe and taken care of under the surface that I can't thank Joanna enough for what she's done to me! Efharisto! The whole team doing great, we had cold water and snacks on the boat and the Captain did amazing job too! I can wholeheartedly recommend this diving center.

First to say, Big Thank you to your team! We had great experience with Chania Diving. It took me long time to get my husband to try diving, now after try scuba he want go forward and get certified. I'm personally had amazing dives with professional and very friendly team. If anyone look for diving in Crete, highly recommend Chania Diving!!!

We had a very good experience with the Chania giving center. It was the first dive for my gf and the 30 th for my self. The crew was professional and had excellent equipment and boats. The Elephant cave is easy cave that is a recommendation for all certified divers.

We did the intro to scuba class with George as our instructor and it was fantastic. He was an amazing, friendly guy who taught us at the perfect pace and checked on us constantly throughout. We had a fantastic dive with clear water and got to see a lot of fish not too far off shore. The whole company from our driver to the site, our instructor, and the owner himself are all amazing people!

A must have experience, with such a professional and welcoming team. Highly recommended for those looking to explore chania and the beautiful waters.

Family of 4. Adults went snorkelling and teenage boys (14 & 16) went scuba diving. Fantastic experience. Dimitri was an excellent tutor for the boys and Christina looked after all of us very well. Would thoroughly recommend.

We had a fantastic time doing the Begginer's dive. Even though we went in October, we had a sunny day and the two instructors - George and Ioana - were a joy to be around. They explained the itinerary to us, and then kept to it, always reminding us at what part leg of our journey we were at. Before we went into the water, Ioana made the safety and instruction part extremely fun but also insured we understood what exactly we needed to do in case of an emergency. As a result, we all felt prepared and even the person among us with a fear of water, got over it pretty quick and could enjoy the dive. Bellow the surface, they guided us on a nice path where we could see a variety of sea life, from sea urchins to different types of fish: from solitary ones to big schools and even some camouflaged fishes. Finally, we also received 40 photos from our dive! Even more so, despite first sending us a wrong file, the person responsible was great in answering at a very late hour and correcting the mistake! We will deffently come back to do the dive again!

I loved the team that swim with you in the diving, they are good people and they have experience to be near you and help you in the water. I didn't see all the animals in the photoes but it was a nice experince. We stayed like 30-35 minutes and went down about 9 m

We tried the 10meter guided scuba diving, which was an amazing experience for beginners to get to know the equipment and getting comfortable in the water. The water was also very nice and easy to see through. All equipment was also supplied by the Chania Diving. Overall we couldn’t ask for a better experience

The Scuba Diving & Snorkeling program was an amazing experience for all our family . We were treated so professional and so friendly, that the whole time was exceptional. Although we had zero experience about diving, we all did it together. This was purely thanks to the entire Chania Diving team. We can fully recommend Chania diving and the price was by far more than just justified. We will never forget what the diving trainer Dimitris and the snorkeling trainer Savana. shared with us today. I did "try scuba" 10 days ago. The SSI certificate and photos were included in the cost, but I've never gotten them. I gave them several phone calls, sent emails and messages before giving up. At first, they promised to send me everything the same day, now they just ignore my messages without explaining anything. The diving itself was ok, at least for the first time I guess. I don't recommend it.

This was an excellent diving experience. I myself have already been once and this was my partner's first time. She was eased in perfectly and made to feel safe at all times and I was comforted knowing I was on good hands also. The snorkel into the cave was amazing, seeing the bats, the pink coral, and low ceiling. The view them coming out the cave into the open sea was great also. The dive spot had plenty of marine life and our dive instructor managed to even find a small octopus. Roussos made this trip a very valuable one along with his team. From hotel pick up to drop off, we were well taken care of.

It was an amazing experience. Well organized club and most importantly passionate people in the club and at the end you want to spend more time with them to share about the diving passion.

Had 5 different dives, one more amazing than the other. Crete does not have a lot of marine life but the underwater topografi is majestic and theese guys give you a beautiful guided tour and show the best Crete has to offer. Dont miss the elephant cave. An amazing experience, also for novice divers.

Trying scuba diving in Crete was a phenomenal experience! The diving gear was very good considering my status as a beginner, the instructions and how the instructor made sure everybody had understood everything was very good as well. We got picked up right on schedule infront of our hotel and taken to the diving site and delivered back, which is a nice service since I reckon most turists fly to Crete. The instructors made sure it was a fun and exciting experience for everybody and they were very fun and easy to talk to about. All in all a very good and recommendable experience if you should find yourself close to Chania!

Great experience, Johanna and Yanis were very reassuring and take the time to explain. It was my first time diving and everything went extremely well. Thanks to them and Christina who provides transportation!
