Great time, easy to learn, and the front seating came in handy when wanting to lay in the sun alongside the cliffs. One note though, be mindful of the weather when you book. We had 10 kmh winds all day and had rough water for a few hours making boating miserable due to the small size of the boat. Morning was relatively calm and as was the afternoon (2 PM onward). 12-2 was when we had rough water. Also note you’ll need to bring your own ice if you intend to utilize the cooler. Overall great experience and would recommend to anyone wanting to explore the Cretan coast

This was so much fun we did it twice. Everything about the experience exceeded our expectations. Rose showed us everything we needed to know with upmost patience. Everyone who worked at the dock was helpful. You cant get more bang for your buck as far as I am concerned. Snorkel masks, cooler, clean boat, fun to drive, and definitely safe for families. The scenery is incredible. The only variable you have to consider is the weather. TIP: Even if everyone doesnt want to go nt he boat, there is a beach adjacent to the dock were there are chairs and food should you choose. The water is super calm in this area and there is more beach space and restaurants further down.

We had an absolutely fantastic day with Antonis Boats! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. They were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, taking the time to explain everything clearly and making us feel completely comfortable before we set off. Great experience. Good location for exploring Crete. Boat was new and in good order. I'm a novice boater but briefing was clear and concise. I had two 7 year olds life preserves were provided. Staff were polite, friendly and very helpful. Fee was competitive. Many thanks indeed.

Another fantastic experience renting from Antonis boats , we hired from here twice last year and had such an amazing time we came back and rented again this year. The owner is extremely friendly and the boats are immaculate , you get shown some real cool places to drop anchor with great snorkelling or sheltered to just bob about 😍. We had an amazing boat trip and couldn't recommend it enough! The whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. We got to see some absolutely beautiful places with crystal-clear water and stunning scenery that we would never have discovered on our own. Awesome 4hr trip, high quality boats, great familiarisation, excellent advice (dropped pins on Google maps so could navigate to the snorkelling spots), the last (5th) spot we stopped it off the island was amazing snorkelling. Were 4 of us including 2 kids aged 9 and 11, had hired a boat once before which we lived in Cyprus and hired this would be as good, definitely was and the boat was better, loved it

Went on a trip today with my mum and nan, absolutely loved it. Had no prior experience with boats but was fully explained to us in excellent detail! Fun time and a great location. The place is in Almyrida beach which is loaded with restaurants and bars. The captain of the boat was very engaging and professional The boat itself was clean and safe. We were taken on a tour and we took a dip. The captain articulated everything. We had a nice meal and were safely returned to port. They have good employees here. Definitely recommend! Greek Power!

We had the most amazing day exploring the coastline on a 4 hour boat trip with our skipper Nikos. Nikos was very knowledgable and friendly and even let us drive the boat! Nik took us to the most beautiful spots we’ve ever seen. Thank you for the perfect end to our trip. Rented a boat out for 4 hours with my wife and 2 kids, the team were superb, great safety briefing of everything needed, snorkels and cool box included and even made notes on my phone map app of ideas where to go diving to see fish. Boat was perfect, spotlessly clean, functioned flawlessly - was genuinely one of the best days we had on holiday. They even had a waterproof GoPro we could make use of and they sent over the pics and vids via WhatsApp. Great experience memories made, could not fault it, thank you!

We had a truly magical experience with Antonis Boats in Almyrida! Everything was smooth and well organized from start to finish. Before heading out, we received a clear and friendly safety briefing and a short navigation lesson — perfect even if you’ve never driven a boat before. They gave us a map and explained the best spots to explore, where to anchor, swim, and enjoy the coast at our own rhythm. The boat was spacious, clean, and equipped with everything we needed: safety gear, masks for snorkeling, a ladder for easy access to the sea, a sunshade, and even a cooler where we stored our lunch. We spent 4 peaceful hours at sea, discovering hidden coves, snorkeling in crystal-clear waters, and relaxing far from the crowded beaches. It felt like we had the entire sea to ourselves. At the end of our trip, they used the GPS tracker to calculate our fuel usage, which was very reasonable – no more than €24. It was one of the best moments of our trip to Crete. I felt like a queen sailing the Aegean, wind in my hair, sun on my skin, and nothing but blue all around. My husband and I absolutely loved every moment — peaceful, safe, and unforgettable. We hired a boat for 4 hours, the plan was to drive it ourselves. When we arrived it was pretty windy and the sea was a bit choppy so after our initial ‘lesson’. Antoni decided it would be best if we had a skipper which was kindly provided to us free of charge due to the weather conditions and us being new to boating. We had the best time and would not hesitate to use this company again if we ever returned to Almyrida. Special thanks to Filipos (our skipper) he was great and took us around to all the best spots.

We hired a boat for 6 of us for the 8 hours. The initial instruction was great and gave us the confidence to go out by ourselves. The suggested places to visit were wonderful. With a cool box to keep our drinks nice and snacks nice and cold, blue tooth connected speaker we had a great day swimming and sunning and the colour of the water was amazing. Given a good recommendation for a place for lunch. Would definitely recommend.

We are first time boaters. Antonis took time to explain the workings of the boat including a demonstration and coming with us on a short trip to ensure we understood, and was friendly and informative. He included everyone in the instructions, including my teenage daughter who was placed on anchor duty. The boat was immaculate and very well equipped. We were also given prime spots on Google maps for our trip. Unfortunately, one of our party was quite sea sick especially in the open waters, so we opted for snorkeling close to the starting point rather than travelling as much as we would have liked. All in all we had a fantastic trip and would highly recommend this experience for experienced and novices alike.
