Paragliding Tours In Crete

Excellent experience, we really enjoyed the paragliding, and our guide/pilot, a national champion in flying, was an excellent host who picked us up and dropped us off, making logistics easy. It is helpful to understand that the flight point for a given day will change due to the winds, and so you should expect to communicate with the tour operator 2-3 days before (likely via Whatsapp, but they will communicate via Viator) about where you will go and what you will see. Expect each flight to take 10-15 minutes, with 5 minutes reset time; our family of 4 took about an hour to all fly. I cannot say enough about the actual flight, if you've never done it, it's hard to imagine just how smooth and easy it is. Glasses/sunglasses are not a concern, and you can even use your phone for photos if you are careful (if you drop it though, it's gone). Overall, excellent experience, if you want to fly like a bird, this is probably the closest you can get!

I chose the 20’ paramotor fly for my boyfriend’s birthday. It was an amazing experience! He enjoyed it from start to finish! The whole team was fantastic, it was so easy to book the appointment and they were very helpful and informative. George as an instructor was fantastic, even though I didn’t do it I definitely recommend it judging by my friends smile after that! Don’t miss it!

Done skydiving and parasailing and this is my favorite by far. Did an excellent job from start to finish. Little hard to find, but instructions were good. Highly recommend.

We were up into the mountains, off roaded a bit, short hike up to the plateau where we suited up and off we went....our guides made us feel safe, kept checking to see we were good and comfortable. As we were high off the ground, our guide pointed out these large birds circling....vultures....I guess hoping for a meal...lol...the cruising in the air was beautiful and the landing was gentle...great time for us 1st timers....ready to go again 😀

This was a wonderful experience and George was the best person to take you up in the paratrik! I was able to see so much of the coast and land as well as turtles in the sea! I felt very safe all the time; take off, in the air and landing as George was very experienced and he was always checking I was okay! It was really good fun and me and my family loved the experience!!! I’d highly recommend this adventure!!!

Absolutely incredible experience. The instructor has so much passion and joy for what he does and made the experience a one to never forget. This is hands down one of the best things we have done on our trip. A unique way to experience Crete, you won’t find anything else like it on the island. The view from the Paratrike is breathtaking and leaves you speechless (we saw turtles and stingrays on our flight). Thank you so much for making our trip! We will definitely be back!! We booked through Viator and the instructor contacted us via WhatsApp. Keep the day that you book the experience for free as the instructor will contact you with what times were available. It’s definitely worth prioritising and working your schedule around the available times. If you’re worried about safety, don’t be! The instructor has 23 years of flying experience! Can’t say anything more expect book this in! You won’t regret

The scenery way up high was of course amazing, but the highlight was George. Really a great, friendly host. He took fantastic care of us and handled all the details. Highly recommended!

Went with my partner, who was scared of this activity for various reasons. Can say with confidence we both had a great experience. Was extremely simple and easy, you drive up to the launch area (near a resort on the beach, they send you helpful directions), wait in a shaded area under a tent the guide set up, and one-by-one the members of your group go up and back with the guide for approximately ~15/20 minutes each. The guide is fun, calming, helpful and experienced. The flying apparatus is modern and inspires confidence. The experience itself is beautiful and unique, with fantastic views and great pictures (the guide takes a couple selfies while you’re up there, and you’re free to bring your phone to take videos/pictures). I recommend this activity for all ages, it was very fun and did not require heavy time commitment.

Amazing experience, beautiful view and very hospitable guide. Took photos during our flights for us as we where too scared to get our phones out due to the wind. Even picked us up at our hotel location after a little confusion of our meeting spot (fault our end) which would’ve left us struggling to attend on time. I even spotted a few rare sea turtles during my flight. Would definitely recommend.

Communication and guidance to spot were very good. Flight itself was very nice and 20 mins was long enough time to see things from the sky. I felt all time safe and handled by professionals. Views were good. Lots of things told by pilot. It was a hot day and only one paraglide in use so it would be nice if free water offered at site during the queuing times.

Mr. Giorgos is an experienced professional and I had the opportunity to try tandem in two forms. The flight was an amazing experience to complete it with a gentleman like Mr. Giorgos. 310 euros, mine lasted maybe 7 minutes, that of my girlfriend, who made the video scarce 5 minutes. The thing that makes you angry that before you pay they guarantee you an effective 20 minute flight, is a big lie, here we talk about scam in my opinion.
