Very comfortable van with easy pick up, super knowledgeable guide who was friendly and open to all of our questions! It was paced well, relaxing but intentional. 10/10 would recommend

A very pleasant way to spend the best part of a day. Pick up was on time and the driver guide introduced himself, we were paired with a lovely American couple. The minibus was air conditioned, and comfortable, we were advised by Cretan Vioma to book out tickets for Knossos before arriving and given a slot to book for - great information as it meant we avoided the queues. Having visited Knossos before we decided to go without a guide so that we could visit areas that we didn't cover the first time - we had about an hour and it was enough time to do what we wanted to do, however if you want to see the throne room I recommend queuing as soon as you get into the main square. We went on to an Olive Oil Mill which really opened my eyes to the different taste of the different harvest periods. We will be trying to replicate Olive Oil, seas salt, pepper and orange balsamic cream at home! The factory tour was informative but I felt sorry for George II as he had to shout over some works going on. (Both drivers were called George, our driver was naturally George I) We then visited a vineyard and tried 2 white wines, 1 rose and 1 red along with a tspirou (Cretan version of Raki) we were also given some Cretan rusks and water as pallete cleansers and some cheese, tomatoes and cucumber. After that we were taken for lunch at a lovely local taverna - while food was simple it was very well cooked, the scrambled eggs with tomatoes and olive oil was superb! George I also sat down with us for lunch which was a very nice touch. All in all a very pleasant way to spend the day, and George was an excellent guide, happy to answer any questions our group had and provide some interesting bits of information along the way.

Quite simply a fantastic day. Excellent communication both before and during the day, prompt pick up and the vehicle was spotlessly clean. The bottle of water given to us before entering Knossos was a welcome touch and we were given ample time to walk round. Olive oil factory, winery were both interesting and informative and the lunch was excellent and local. We would highly recommend

A great and varied day out. Knossos was busy but interesting, the olive oil tasting was great. The vineyard visit and tasting showed a range of wines and the Cretan meal in the village was just delicious. The a/c in the van was welcome!

A beautiful day visiting Knossos Palace, We paid the €25 for the virtual guide. It gave you the relevant information at several points around the site but also an interpretation of what the building would have looked like. We then when on to an olive oil mill and a winery. Only two couples and our guide. Really interesting and informative with an opportunity to buy the goods. The lunch was superb and served in a small village taverna, meze style with a variety of freshly cooked vegetarian choices and then pork and potatoes. Served with wine and ending with melon. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Great value day trip. Highly recommended

Very good experience. Was nervous as it was a group tour and we had bad experiences in the past but our tour guide George was very kind and helpful and the group was small and the trip was relaxing

We had a great time! George was excellent and informative! The only reason. I did not give it five stars is that it is important to note that the ticket to Knossos was NOT included and a tour guide within the Knossos Palace was also not included. This should be clear when tickets are purchased. We thought this tour included information when you are in Knossos Palace instead when we arrived - we paid another $20 pp for each ticket and another $100 for a tour guide at the Palace. It cost us another $240 for a group of 7 people on top of the “tour” price. We loved the olive tasting and the wine tasting at a local winery. The lunch at a local restaurant was also delightful. It is just important to note what was missing so you can plan accordingly,

George is awesome! He has so much knowledge of the island and is great to talk with. The tour itself is incredibly thoughtful and well planned. There is plenty of time to experience each stop fully and the lunch at the taverna at the end might be the best part. If you want to get a taste of different aspects of Crete I highly recommend this tour.

We really enjoyed our day with Antoine. He made the various places we visited very interesting. Thanks for your efforts we enjoyed the stillinou winery the most although the olive mill and the lovely taverna meal were great. The small size of our group made it more special.

We were well looked after by our guide and had a really great day. The experience was well planned was a great opportunity to see and sample local wines and olive oils and hear the history of the businesses, ending with a lovely traditional meal.

Great day out with George, interesting looking around knossos palace. The trip to the winery and the olive oil mill was excellent, we had the place to ourselves. The taverna was lovely and lots of food that was all delicious. Overall excellent day out to see all the things we wanted.

George was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable and engaging. All the stops were family orientated and tastings delicious. Would recommend!

A fantastic day trip with Anthony who was very friendly, informative and welcoming. We went as a couple with two other pairs of people who we also got along well with so a great group and guide to spend the day with! We went to the Knossos Palace and Stilianou winery to taste the olive oil and wines - wow!! Absolutely delicious and great to see the processes and work that goes into these products. Afterwards we went to a local tavern for lunch and enjoyed some beautiful home made food. Definitely recommend to anyone :)

It was an amazing trip, Antonis picked us up from our hotel and was very hospitable and knowledgeable. We got to temple of Knossos early so didn't have to contend with too many people. The wine tasting was amazing, very interesting tour and the wine was lovely. This was our second tour around an olive factory but Antonis was very informative and had a passion for this, having worked in the factories before. The lunch was lovely as was the wine with the meal. Lots of traditional dishes and left full. I had my toddler with me and made sure she was cared for us too and had a good time despite it being more of an adult tour

What an experience! Our tour guide George was a master in communication and so hospitable. Learning about different process making of wine and olive oil passed down from generation to generation was inspiring. I would 100% recommend this experience to anyone visiting Crete!

Amazing experience. We were guided round by George who was full of knowledge and very helpful and made the trip a 10/10. Wine tasting was great, with a full tour of the winery if tastings with cheese and bread. Olive oil tour was also very interesting a small tour of the olive trees and a guided indoor tour of the machinery. Finally, a traditional lunch served in a small village was fantastic with lots of variety to taste and share

We traveled throughout Greece and this was one of our favorite tours. We made a stop a Knossos which was very interesting and educational. George was our tour guide for our visits to the family winery and the olive oil production factory. We learned so much about wine and olive oil production in Greece and enjoyed all of the tastings. Our final stop for lunch at a local family restaurant was DELICIOUS! Everything was fresh and local and they fed our tour group of 7 plenty of food to try. We very much enjoyed the tour and appreciated the opportunity to learn so much about the industries. George was one of the best tour guides we had throughout our trip!

This experience was amazing! I highly recommend it if you want to get a sense of life in Crete - from wine and olive oil making to typical Cretan food in a small village. The scenery is beautiful and every stop seemed better than the next. We learned al lot from the family winery and the olive oil factory and got to meet the people who have run these family businesses for generations. The guide, George, is very knowledgeable and personable as well as accommodating. The best is that this is a small group tour song we got to ask about of questions and get a personal connection concrete and it’s people.

Fabulous day trip and fantastic value for money! Loved that this company provide transfers to and from your hotel. Our guide George was friendly and informative and it wasn’t long before we were infected by his love for this beautiful island and the lifestyle. This was an amazing tour. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel. Anthony our guide was very knowledgable and friendly and answered any and all questions we had throughout the day. The small family owned winery was beautiful and fantastic along with the olive oil. Pairings with wine and cheese were perfect along with the delicious olive oil. We went to a local Tavern for lunch and had homemade Greek food which was amazing. I highly recommend this tour.

The trip with George was phenomenal. We took a tour of Knossos Palace and afterwards did an olive oil and wine tasting, each with a guided tour. Afterwards, there was lunch at a local tavern. The experience was a 10/10, everyone was super nice, and you really have a great informative and culinary trip ahead of you. Absolutely recommended!

The mix of destinations was great. Our driver (Georgous?) was very attentive, friendly and very competent. We had plenty of time to check out Knossos.
