Crete: Sunset Quad Safari With Cave, Beach & Olive Oil Tasting

Very good value for money great views and a long time on the bikes

Very fun experience with off road and on road driving and beautiful views. We were picked up from hotel and dropped back off after. We got to go and good speeds and did lots of driving we were out for a good few hours. The price was reasonable. We were a big group but it didn’t take away from the experience. Staff were good and informative. Overall would do it again.

One of the best excursions we’ve done when travelling. Not like other quad safaris we’ve been on where you’re limited to a small area to go on at low speeds. You travel through main roads, up dirt tracks and have a few short stops including a great spot to catch the sunset. The quads were modern and well looked after and the guides were great and laid back. Would highly recommend!

We done the sunset trip today and it was absolutely amazing our tour guide Harris was very funny and great to talk to! Couldn’t recommend this tour enough we had such a lovely time and couldn’t be happier with our experience. The olive oil tasting was very nice and we loved seeing the sunset at the end of the day. We had the best time and the wonderful staff are to thank for that!

A great experience – a highlight of our holiday in Crete! We booked the Sunset Quad Safari whilst staying in Hersonissos, and it turned out to be one of the best experiences of our holiday. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel relaxed, safe and welcome. The route was fantastic, taking us through beautiful Cretan countryside, traditional villages and some amazing off-road tracks with incredible views along the way. The visit to the cave was really interesting, and we loved stopping to sample local olive oil while learning how olive oil is made. The host and his wife were very friendly. The highlight, of course, was the sunset. We got to the viewpoint in good time and had a fantastic view. We watched the sun go down over the stunning landscape and it made some wonderful photographs. The scenery throughout the trip was spectacular and gave us the chance to see a completely different side of Crete away from the busy tourist areas. The guides were excellent—friendly, knowledgeable and great fun, while always making sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying themselves. The quads were easy to handle, and the whole experience struck the perfect balance between adventure, sightseeing and relaxation. Thank you to Alex and the whole team for such a memorable evening. We came away with huge smiles, great memories and some fantastic photos. If you’re visiting Crete, don’t miss this trip—you won’t regret it

We had the most amazing time on the quad safari in Crete and couldn’t recommend it more! From start to finish, everything was perfectly planned. The olive oil tasting was gorgeous, and the honey was absolutely beautiful. We also visited a cave, which was huge and beautifully shaded the perfect place to cool down after being out in the heat on the quads. The route itself was incredible, taking us through hills, endless olive trees, and some really lovely villages. The viewpoint was absolutely unreal. Finishing the tour at the beach to watch the sunset was the perfect ending to an amazing evening. We even spotted turtles in the river when there. Our guide was super funny and friendly, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The timing of each stop was spot on, never too long or too rushed , so we got to enjoy everything without feeling like we were waiting around. The quads themselves were so much fun to drive. Cruising through the countryside at a relaxed pace really lets you take in the beautiful surroundings and makes you appreciate the slower way of life in Crete. Communication was great when coming to pick us up from hotel & drop off aswell. This was easily one of the highlights of our holiday, and I genuinely couldn’t recommend it any more.

O M G! okay, so we were a 4 and 2 booking... Billy was so lovely and reassuring. All the staff were at Crete Safari. As always its nerve-wracking driving in a different country on the other side of the road with a quad too! But the boys were so reassuring, calm and fab to put your mind as rest. We had 2 children with us who havent been on quads before and again, Billy made sure the kids were happy and safe throughout. Lovely guys, would definitely recommend this tour. This was genuinely one of the best things we did. The sunset was just *chefs kiss*

What a great experience. My daughter and I did this trip and for me, at the age of 69, it was my first time on a quad bike. My daughter did all the driving (some of which was off road), but I had the opportunity of having a go on the quad bike towards the end of the evening. The day included visiting a large cave and an olive oil producer, then witnessing a beautiful sunset before the journey back to base. Our instructor was amazing and knowledgeable, ensuring everyone's safety.

Absolutely amazing, breathtaking experience, even with a fear of hights was absolutely worth every penny, fantastic service and absolutely stunning views ,recommending yo everyone 🤩

Fun experience. Stopped off at a couple places that were interesting. Explanation on driving was over-complicated, but we arrived late.

We booked the morning tour which was really good and as soon as we got back we booked the evening tour which was amazing. When we manage to visit Crete again we will definitely be back. The staff are friendly and make you feel at ease

Brilliant experience, guides are very friendly and makes sure you get the best experience. Never drove a quad before and was very nervous but I was soon put to ease and I loved every minute.

We had a great experience with the quads, and I highly recommend it. The guide was always careful for us to be safe and always checked on us, which made us feel safe and comfortable even though it was our first time. He has taken us to a cave, to a small village where we ate traditional pie and drank a greek coffee, they both tasted very well. Afterward, he took us to a monastary where we met a nice and interesting priest that lives there and helped us to chat by translating (and we also had a short greek language course). We did some off-road adventure also, we saw a hawk, some goats, olive tree farms. We explored the island a bit and we loved it. I highly recommend it if you have the chance, for me, it is a better experience than just lazing around on a beach, live your life, feel the adventure!

Wow. An out of this world experience. Our guide (Harris) was both informative and incredibly funny. I couldn’t recommend this anymore! I will be coming back and doing it again for certain!

We had such an amazing time doing the sunset quad safari. From the pick up to the drop off it was all amazing. Our guide Charis was really really good made sure we felt confident on the quads. He even offered to take photos of us! Me and my girlfriend shared a quad but he let us swap. My girlfriend was a bit nervous to drive at first but Charis was very reassuring and gave her the confidence to give it a go and she loved it. Would 100% recommend very good experience and their English is all amazing.

Despite the rain, it was a tremendously fun experience. The tour guides were very friendly and you could laugh a lot.

Guides are really top-notch, they speak several languages and have a great sense of humor, and the safari was super with crazy landscapes and good explanations.

The quad tour was super organized and the staff was extremely friendly. The ride offers a bit of action, great views over the island, and a beautiful sunset at the end. The short stops at the cave and the olive oil mill were very entertaining and interesting (the mill operator was also super likable!). Especially positive: You aren't being ripped off as a tourist anywhere or pressured to buy anything, even though the opportunity exists. For me, an all-around successful experience!

Everything was absolutely perfect! Had the best experience of my life. Really recommend everyone to do this! The world's kindest guide. Can not explain everything nice you saw the camera is not fair!

Great experience! Definitely recommended for those who want to see more of the area and experience unique routes. Guide / management was extremely nice and helpful, safety is well taken care of and he could tell us a lot about the area. The stops along the way were also top notch, from the cave to the olive tasting (with a super sweet owner who talks passionately about his business) to the lookout point and the beach. We really enjoyed it and would recommend everyone to do this tour.

Really varied tour with action, education and something delicious to eat. The guide and his wife explained the quad bike to us very understandably and then we started straight away👍 So you can see a lot of the hinterland of Crete, which you don’t get to see as a tourist. We can recommend the tour to everyone 🎉🎉🎉

We loved our Quad Safari and recommend it 100%! A super route between seaside, mountains, village and path, photo stops and/or visits that offers magnificent views of beautiful landscapes. Thanks to our guide who was great 💪🏼

Fantastic fun tour with family and a number of other participants from Germany and France. Varied tour that went along the coast and then went up into the mountains. Shorter distance at the beginning and end of paved roads. Then most of it was off-road or on gravel roads or trails in sometimes demanding terrain. Visit to a cave, some lookouts and an olive oil manufacturer. Super nice staff and fun way to drive a quad bike.
