Amazing guide MANOS, sorry. I can’t remember driver or the other French speaking guide who were all lovely . I feel the visit to the lake wasn’t long enough it was only an hour where you got over two hours on chania I would have loved longer at the lake it was soooo nice . All in all amazing price amazing staff . Just wish there was toilet on bus I never checked this before I booked but I would recommend it x

Very insightful and thoughtful experience. The experience makes me want to come back to Greece again. Our tour guide Alexander was very knowledgeable and showed us places that we would never have gone by ourselves.

What a great day! Victor came to our hotel to pick the four of us up and we headed out to west Crete. The first stop was Chania which was over 2 hours from our hotel. We made one stop that was perfectly planned by Victor and headed on our way. He told stories and gave us some history of Crete which made the time pass quickly. Once in Chania, Victor gave us a guided tour that we all loved and we found a place to ear lunch (which was DELICIOUS!). Next up we went to the fresh water lake - Lake Kournas. We went with a short stop here because we felt it was too cool to swim on the day of our tour. Then we ventured to Rethymnon where we enjoyed a guided tour by Victor through the old town. We all loved it! The total tour was almost 12 hours and we were exhausted, but loved it! This was a great way to see the West side of the island!

The communication between us and the tour company was excellent. Helen picked us up early and we were on our way for a fabulous day with her. She offered so much knowledge about the history of Crete and the various towns and villages and lake side that we enjoyed. She chose the perfect spot for lunch with a Lakeside view that I will remember as a highlight of the day. Helen is an excellent driver, and the only thing better was her knowledge and history that she so willingly offered. We could have spent days with her! Don’t miss this tour well worth the money.

The tour was very informative. Lina knew a lot about the different towns, and gave us commentary throughout the trip. The walking tours were very relaxed and informative. We were able to stop and look at the souvenir shops. The lunch had the best saganaki and lamb chops that we’ve ever had.

A wonderful day. Elena met us promptly at our hotel and supplied plenty of water for the hot day. She was knowledgeable and flexible (allowing us to shop along the tour). She took us to wonderful taverna along the lake. We were glad she agreed to have lunch with us. She share knowledge of Crete’s history and navigated our walking tour easily. Highly recommend.

Elena was superb! Her knowledge was incredible and we learned so much both during the drive as well as walking around in each town. She was also very flexible when we wanted to add an extra place to see in Chania. If you are staying in Heraklion it is well worth seeing western Crete on this tour - the towns are charming and very different than Heraklion.

Katerina was great. Super knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions. She was very sweet and patient with us allowing us to shop as we wanted to. She really customized the trip to fit our needs. Highly recommend touring with her.

The trip takes us through the best showpieces of Crete. Katrina who was the Guide was a fund of knowledge and could show every interesting place with a captivating narration. The Chania, Rhythimno are picture-post-card places, charming, historical and stylish.

I contacted Andreas at Cherry Travel with a very short notice (the night before our arrival in Crete). Within hours, he managed to arrange an itinerary, adapt it to our extended family of 12 (3 generations ages 8 to 80) and provide us with a wonderful tour guide. The VIP van was fabulous, the itinerary was perfect and everyone was accommodating with our short time window and desires. We even squeezed in a refreshing 20 min on the beach. Couldn’t be more grateful.

This is a unique and very special experience. Helen picked us up from our hotel in the morning and expertly guided us around Heraklion. She then walked with us through the beautiful little streets of Rethymno, took us for a wonderful lunch by Lake Kourna, and concluded our tour by strolling through the enchanting streets of Chania. Helen is extremely pleasant, very calm, and makes you feel like you’re touring with a friend.

We were so happy with this tour. They were very flexible to meet our needs, which included a different drop-off point than the pickup location and adding a stop while removing another stop. It was wonderful. We especially loved Kournas Lake.

The tour was delightful and our guide was knowledgeable and charming. Katherina made our day just perfect!! We loved all the knowledge that she shared with us of ancient people of Crete: their culture, their myths, their history! The tavern she took us for dinner in Charnia had great Greek food. We recommend this tour, but even better if you are able to have her as your guide.

10000/10 experience on this tour. Our guide was so knowledgeable of the Island of Crete, the history etc. He made the tour so enjoyable, fun and informative all at once. He acted as our personal photographer for the day as well haha! Cannot recommend this company and their tour guides more.

Helena was punctual, patient, vehicle was spacious and clean. Extremely knowledgeable w local history from Manoan to current time. Appreciated her Venetian architecture details and her enthusiasm for archeological sites. Left with a desire to learn more about Cretan history. Highly recommend her.

We took the full day tour as a family with our kids. Our tour guide, Helen, was incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of Cretan history and culture. We had a great time exploring the cities of Chania and Rethymno. We stopped for a beautiful lunch spot at Lake Kournas. And we made a stop at an Olive oil factory and tasted the freshest greek extra virgin olive oil! The vehicle was very comfortable. It was good to go in November due to lower crowds overall. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone with an interest in Cretan history, architecture and culture.

Eleni was a very knowledgeable guide and provided us with a lot of fascinating historical information about the Venetian and Ottoman architecture in Chania and Rethymno. In Chania, she also took us to see some of the excavations of Minoan sites that take the city's history back to the second millennium BC. It was an eye-opening excursion showing us parts of Crete we had not expected to see. The stop at Korunas Lake was also interesting and lunch at Oneiro tavern was delicious, although the serving staff were not very friendly.

Definitely a full 5 stars this was such a fun tour! Our guide was so informative and really made sure we had a good experience. Even took us to see a small factory where they make olive oil which was nice touch!

We had a beautiful day visiting Crete. We were only there for a day as we were on a cruise and Hara personalized the day for us from start to finish. We also loved her knowledge of the island and the history behind each spot we visited.

Our tour guide was brilliant and very entertaining. He made the time move along fast. We enjoyed the towns and the guided your. However the day was a rush. I would easily have eliminated the lake and just had lunch in either towns and spent a bit more time there instead of getting a very short time in each.

On 23 July, just my birthday, we were on an 11-person cruise to Crete with friends. I wanted to have a memorable day. And fortunately, I found a wonderful Cretan travel agency, Ivan Susanin. Back in the organization phase, I was just captivated by Daria's warm attitude and 100 percent professionalism! As soon as I started talking to her about the tour arrangements, I knew I didn't need another firm, so Daria knew what I needed! And in Crete Guide Elena made our day! It was comfortable, interesting, fun and hot 😀 We chose "Western Crete" and we really liked it! The birthday was celebrated at the Greek tavern on Lake Kurnas with the most beautiful view, very delicious! Elena from the firm even gave me a very nice gift from Crete! Then there was the sweetest town, Rethymno! Elena was on top of everything. Anyway, absolutely delighted! Thank you!
