Olive Green Hotel

* Excellent central location * Very clean and well-maintained * Friendly, welcoming, and helpful staff * Comfortable base for exploring the city * Breakfast was disappointing, both in quality and breakfast room ambiance * Luggage is stored in an unsupervised area, which may be a concern for some guests

One of the most disappointing hotel experiences we have ever had. The room looked completely different from the impression created by the photos. The design made it feel more like a prison cell than a comfortable hotel room. The view was awful, the balconies were extremely small, there was an unpleasant smell in the room, and the bathroom layout offered almost no privacy, with the sink built into a closet inside the bedroom. There is no convenient parking near the hotel, and there was no assistance with our luggage upon arrival, which made check-in even more frustrating. We were so disappointed that we left immediately and had to find another hotel with our young children, even though we had already paid for our stay. After sending several emails explaining the situation, the hotel refused to refund us or show any goodwill, simply hiding behind its non-refundable policy. This experience caused us unnecessary stress, additional expenses, and completely ruined the beginning of our vacation. I would strongly advise future guests to think twice before booking this hotel. We recently stayed for 4 nights. Location of hotel is great, close to ferry, Freedom Square where all buses seem to go, and close to many restaurants and shops and to the wonderful Archeological Museum. Easy walk to all of these. The buffet breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and very tasty. Service at hotel was very good, friendly and helpful and cleaned room each day. Room and hotel was comfortable and clean.

Very helpful people at the receptionist. Comfortable bed. When i entered the showered, I found out there their was a pretty big window in the shower. Would have been nice to know before hand or that roller blind is closed before hand. Did expect some better wifi for a business hotel.
