Metropole Urban Hotel

We stayed here due to an unexpected hospitalisation and wish to thank all of the staff there for their kindness and compassion. They really went over and above to help us at a very difficult time and were truly lovely people. For people looking to stay - In terms of accommodation the hotel is perfectly situated to visit the lovely town and right next to a host of restaurants, bars and shops without being affected by noise and bustle . Right on the Cathedral square which is beautiful. Spacious, clean and well appointed air-conditioned rooms ( we had a balcony room too). Very copious and very good breakfast . Just a lovely place to stay to visit the town and a short bus ride away from the beaches. Thank you for caring for our family !

We had a lovely stay here. The room was clean, spacious, and had very good AC. The bathroom also was spacious! We would happily stay here again.

Great place to stay. The rooms could use some improvements, and the smart TV apps (such as Netflix) didn't work — they wouldn't open. I probably should have asked for help at the time, so I can't place too much blame on that. Breakfast could also be more varied. Overall, a great place and I would stay again without hesitation. My comments are meant as constructive feedback for improvement, not as complaints.

Very Great hotel right in the center of Heraklion — clean, modern, and super comfortable. The reception team was amazing: really friendly, professional, and always there to help. Maria stood out — she was so kind, spoke several languages, and made everything easy to communicate. You can tell she really cares about the guests.
