Absolutely perfect, if you like to be surrounded by beauty. Ideally located. Kind and friendly staff. A little village in the quaint Archanes village. A cretan experience to live and to share, thought by a local Archanes owner. Everything you need is right here.

The check-in was brief and purely functional, with little sign of the warm Cretan hospitality one might expect. Our double room was excessively cold upon arrival, extremely small, rather dark, and felt very cramped. The bed was accessible from only one side, and there was not a single wardrobe or proper storage space for clothing. For two guests with luggage, the room was highly impractical.We also found dirt and unidentified debris left between the bed and the wall. The courtyard door could not be opened because sun loungers outside were blocking it. Guests relaxing outside were effectively right in front of the room, leaving virtually no sense of privacy.The reception desk was often unattended when assistance was needed. When staff were available, they appeared rather indifferent and not particularly welcoming, at least in our experience.On a positive note, the bistro was excellent. Both the evening and breakfast teams were friendly, attentive, and provided very good food and service throughout our stay.Overall, the property feels extremely cramped and falls well short of what one would reasonably expect from a five-star hotel. While there were some positive aspects, particularly the bistro, the overall experience was disappointing and not in line with the standards generally associated with the Hilton brand.

We loWe really loved our stay at Manili. The location is perfect – peaceful and quiet, yet just a short walk from the center of the village, and a great base for exploring nearby villages and wineries as well as Heraklion. The entire staff was warm, welcoming, and helpful. Our room was lovely and very clean, and the breakfast was excellent. We also really appreciated the design of the hotel, which creates a wonderful sense of intimacy and privacy. We had dinner at the bistro one evening and it was excellent as well. Overall, a highly recommended place that we would be very happy to return to!ves our stay
