Fantastic accommodation in one of the most beautiful villages of Crete! We stayed at Avra and our experience was exceptional. Very attentive to every detail, traditional but at the same time fully equipped, quiet and spotlessly clean. The people were incredibly hospitable, kind and always willing to serve us. We highly recommend it!
Perfect place to relax! It was our second time visiting Archanes but our first time staying here and it couldn’t have been a better choice. The house is right in the heart of the village, so you can walk everywhere, even go hiking, without the need of a car. We did have a car but we left it a 2-3 minute walking distance, since the house is in a quiet, cobbled street with and an old small church. The house itself is spacious, full of charm, and has a relaxing outdoor area perfect for unwinding. Breakfast was delicious, made with mostly cretan products by a lovely lady, every day a basket was coming to our apartment. Thank you Stavros for the check-in and all your help. We had an amazing week and really hope we can come back in October!
This place is beautiful. Truly… I’m not one for reviews but this one took my breath away.. Traditional style Creatan/Venetian homes that brings you back in time… Every detail is thought of… the owner was amazing and looked after us while we got lost 😂 Make sure you call prior your arrival and speak to the beautiful lady to direct you to this unbelievable hidden gem 💎 Will be back.. ❤️🩹
A hotel consisting of three charming cottages in an interesting small town. The ambience is lovely, the rooms are fairly comfortable, and Lefteris the manager is extremely helpful and efficient.
