Tour Around The Island

Great way to spend the day Diego was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly as took us to some great places. He has tons of patience, there were 8 of us in our group and we tended to scatter at the stops. My favorite stop was the mojito shack. We were able to get virgin mojitos, and they were delicious. Thetour lasted almost 6 hours. It was a great way to see the island and learn about the different places we visited.

Diego did an amazing job coordinating all of us, taking us to the places we wanted to see, not just the typical tourist stops. He is friendly and engaging. He is from Cozumel and knows the island and the history. If we came across an unplanned shop we wanted to see, he was quick to accommodate. I personally enjoyed seeing the small fish that nibbled on your feet. I can’t remember the type or the name but it was a fun experience.

We had an incredible day with Diego! He made everything easy, he picked us up from our hotel and brought us to special places. He is funny and kind and takes great care of you. We did the ATV tour, a tour of the island, and ended at the tequila tasting and every stop was amazing. I highly recommend booking directly with him. He’s friendly and helpful.

What can we say?? It was amazing 😍 We got the full island tour from Diego. And not just the 'commercial' tours but the real local spots. We had a mojito experience in the beach (OMG, heaven! 😂), we had a tequila tasting (unreal!) and had a late lunch at a local restaurant where we tried the real Mexican food. And in between we did some sightseeing of course to get a good feeling of the island. It was a day to remember! Life is all about memories right? Diego made our day. Can really recommend him!

Had an amazing day with Diego in Cozumel! He really listens to what we want to see as tourists on the island. As a local, he did not show us the typical 'tourist traps', but got the actual Cozumel Experience! I will never forget the mojito he advised is to taste as it was the best I've ever had!

This is a wonderful SAFE tour!!!!! You need to see the whole island and eat at authentic Mexican places in the tour directors personal neighborhood! Showed us all the beautiful areas away from the towards area and I highly recommend this. Some people are scared of looking outside of a Cruise line away from there. Excursions. I highly recommend him!! if you are a solar cruiser or solo traveler, no worries call him!! Safe , educational, and lots of fun Lisa… travel agent

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Such a fun adventure! Riding the ATV through the jungle was exciting, the cenote was beautiful, and our guide was friendly and made the whole experience enjoyable. Everything was well organized, and we had an amazing time. Highly recommend this tour if you’re visiting Cozumel!

Awesome experience! Loved the personal guide and on our time schedule. Kids loved the taco lunch at coco beach club, lighthouse tour and crocodiles lagoon! We picked up some vanilla and chocolate to take home. Diego and all of the guides were so friendly! Ask for Diego!

We enjoyed learning about the Mayan ruins, sampling tequila & chocolate. We also ate at a restaurant in Independence. Diego was a wonderful tour guide. He explains everything well, is honest & a great guy. We would highly recommend him.

Diego and Lou far exceeded my expectations. We did everything from visiting a cenote, visiting two state parks; Punta Sur and San Gervasio, a stop for, hands down the best mojitos on the island, a tequila tasting and ending at a local restaurant with amazing authentic tacos. Diego provided so much local information at every stop. It was truly the perfect blend of fun and education. We loved Diego and Lou so much we booked a second outing out on the ocean. Unfortunately the winds picked up causing the port to close, and we were unable to complete that outing. Diego was professional and considerate, offering alternative and ultimately refunding our payment when we couldn’t work something else into our schedules. Not only do I highly recommend Diego’s Paradise tours, I will absolutely be using them again! Thank you Diego and Lou for so many amazing memories!

Diego is absolutely amazing! He felt like a old friend we were meeting up with and not one of those tour guides that's only in it for the money. He asked us what we wanted to see and told us great spots! I didn't want to go where all the other tourists go and he knew just the right places. He took us to his local restaurant and it was delicious, not over priced like by the ports. He dropped us off at a quieter beach and waiting till we were done to head to the next destination. We cannot wait to go back and have him show us more of his favorite spots!!! I would probably not trust anyone else to take us around lol. 10/10

Loved working with Diego! My family hired him for a round trip transfer to and from the airport and hotel and we also hired him to take my mom and my daughter on a private island tour. Diego was amazing!!! He really went out of his way to make sure we had a fantastic day! He was so sweet, funny and attentive. We had so much fun on this tour! There were even a couple bonus stops we didn’t know were included! The lunch was delicious, the tequila tasting was amazing, and the chocolate tasting was sublime!! I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone and you definitely have to get Diego! He really raises the bar for any tour guide I’ve ever had!
