It was a great experience! The instructors were very friendly and helpful. They explained everything well and made the experience very memorable. Great excursion to book for first time divers. We were under water for about an hour, up to 33 feet deep!

It’s a great experience that everyone should try. Great trainer that takes the time to make sure you will have a safe and enjoyable time.

Magical experience, super cool. I was nervous at first but once you get comfortable with the regulator it becomes second nature. The instructor was super professional and guided the experience very well. I enjoyed seeing the coral and fish just off the coast.

This was an amazing scuba diving experience in Cozumel. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, easygoing, and laid-back, which made me feel comfortable throughout the entire excursion. The underwater views were incredible, with clear water and an impressive amount of marine life. As an avid spearfisher from Florida, I spend quite a bit of time in the water and have seen plenty of marine environments, but this experience still exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be booking the boat reef dive the next time I visit Cozumel. Highly recommended!

We took our 16YO grandson for his first dive experience and he absolutely loved it. His instructor was Gael [sic] who was very attentive, he did not rush through the experience, and was very knowledgeable and personable. We booked this intro to scuba diving experience for my birthday, and it absolutely exceeded every expectation. We had done a similar excursion back in December with a different dive shop that we thought was great, but this one was on a completely different level. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless. The dive shop was just a short walk from the cruise port (10 min), which made it incredibly convenient. Once there, we checked in, completed our e-learning, and were fitted with our gear. That’s when we met our dive guide, Gael Nadal, he was fantastic. Friendly, patient, and clearly passionate about what he does. We walked our gear down to the beach, where Gael took the time to actually teach us how everything works. He showed us how to assemble our equipment and helped us get fully suited up. Nothing felt rushed. It was a true learning experience, not just a quick “get in and go” excursion. We started in shallow water with Gael and the photographer, Diana, until everyone felt comfortable and confident. Once we were ready, we headed out and the dive itself was absolutely incredible. Diana captured stunning photos and videos of the entire experience. Honestly, I was more than happy to purchase everything she took because it allowed me to leave my GoPro behind and just be fully present and enjoy the dive. I 110% recommend this dive shop and this excursion. The entire team was welcoming, professional, and truly made the experience unforgettable. If you’re considering an intro dive—this is the one to book.

My wife and I went on the Discover Scuba adventure with Dive Boutique Cozumel. It was a short walk from the Carnival cruise dock ~ 20 minutes. We met with Ramon and our instructor Gael. Gael did a great job teaching the required skills for diving. We got comfortable with the skilled in shallow water before going on a fun dive for 45 minutes. They took lots of photos and videos for us throughout the dive. Overall great experience!

We had a wonderful time learning to Dive with them. The gentleman in the shop were very friendly and inviting. Our instructor was great and gave undivided attention to us while diving. He made us feel safe and informed the entire time. We are going to be going back to Cozumel to finish our PADI course with them. Only thing that was not perfect was that I have not had any response about the picture they took of us on the beach. We were really hoping to have a photo to remember the day. I would definitely recommend anyone who wants to take a beginners course for Scuba

We arrived by cruise ship to the Langosta Pier then took a cab over to the meeting point on our excursion directions. I messaged them and told them were running late by about 30 minutes and they said no problem and they would wait. We arrived and we got fitted then walked across the street to the area where we would enter the water. There is a restroom and locker with shower area. We suited up and the instructor gave us a very thorough refresher and went over everything again. This was our first time scuba diving so a lot to take in. We entered the water and the instructor went through all what we were going to do and all the steps. We practiced in a shallow area and once we all agreed we were ready we followed the instructor through the beautiful reefs to a depth of about 35 ft. It was amazing. Our instructor always checking on us and filming us and taking pictures of us and the amazing fish and coral reefs. We then made our way back to the dive shop to shower and change. They emailed us all the videos and pictures within about an hour so we could show our friends on the ship all about our dive. Highly recommend.

While I found Scuba diving more challenging than I had anticipated it was certainly worth the effort to acquire the skills required to enjoy the experience which was well worth the expense for experience

The instructo Gael is great and very patient but head my warning it is a lot harder than you think. From a group of 4, only one of us were capable.

This is an awesome introduction to scuba! We felt super safe and well equipped for our very first scuba adventure thanks to our amazing Instructor. A lot of bang for your buck! Definitely recommend Cozumel Dive Academy. Five stars!

Supposed to be from 12 to 3, i arrived at 11 because i didnt want to be late. The other people didnt show up, so at 12:15 we went down to the beach. The instuctor forgot something said she needed to go back. She returned at about 12:45 with the 2 people that were late. So we started almost an hour late. Then they put to many weights in my vest so i kept sinking to the bottom, but they didnt test the weights. So we went out in the deep water were i struggled the whole time to find bouncy, but she blamed me for the problem, because i had to keep adding air to my suit to stay off the ground. We finished at 2:23 so we got about 40 minutes of actual dive time. We were supposed to get over an hour. The people were nice and i had some fun. But i dont feel i got the time under water i should have, and the weights should have been tested before we went out into the deep water. Would i do it again probably, it wasnt horrible but it could have been much better.

Very attentive and flexible. Awesome experience would not hesitate to use again. In fact I will go back to get certified.

Absolutely would do again! My instructor was very nice and patient. It took a little bit to get used to breathing through the regulator but once we got going I didn't have any problems. There is plenty of marine life we got to see including a huge spotted eagle ray about the size of a small compact car!

One on one experience & very affordable. I am not paid certified so did the resort quick course. We went on a 45 minute dive which was the best I’ve ever been on.

This was the perfect experience for our 4 kids and husband. The kids hadn’t dived before and were all able to clear ears and get under water to enjoy the reef for about an hour. We had two instructors and they both were very patient and did a great job making this a fun experience. The elearning materials were emailed to us within hours of booking giving us plenty of time to complete the short course. I also recommend the photographer at the shop who offered to video/take photos during the experience for extra $$.

One of the best dive experiences I’ve had in Cozumel. Dive instructor took extra care and time with my children. The French lady, unfortunately cannot remember her name. Is hands-down the best.

Our master diver was exceptional in so many ways - fluent in English and kind. The support staff was also friendly and professional. Our master diver entered into our experience with enthusiasm, directing us to fascinating animals hiding in the coral reef. We saw sting rays, moray eels, squid, angel fish, parrot fish, lobster, a sea cucumber, and so much more. It was an unforgettable experience, and our master diver ensured our safety throughout our dive.

Bruno was amazing. He instructed our family how to properly SCUBA, and was very patient with my kids (10 and 12 y/o). Amazing experience if you have never dived before I highly recommend this instructor! Oh- fyi- if you are not certified, they won’t let you take your own camera - so be prepared to pay a third party if you want photos or videos.

This was the highlight of our trip! Marcello and Ramon were awesome and very patient with us as it was our first time scuba diving with our older teenage kids. It was an incredible morning that left us wanting more scuba diving experiences. We dove 20-25 feet and felt like we were in another world. The water was very clear and there were plenty of fish and coral to see. Thank you again to Marcello and Ramon... and thank you to Rayanna the underwater photographer who captured it all for us!

Gael was extremely kind and patient. It was me and my two kids, age 21 and 17. I'm 55, so it takes me a minute longer to catch on to new things. Gael kept his eye on me to make sure I understand everything and was comfortable. My son had already taken this course in Monterey, CA and he told me that Gael did a better job of teaching that the instructors in California. We enjoyed it!

Unfortunately I didn’t get to actually scuba dive due to weather restrictions. But I had scuba diving booked for 3 people and had to cancel. The staff here is 10/10 super friendly and was able to get my return processed right away with super fast responses!

I booked this trip my 13 yr old daughter and myself. She wanted to snorkel in Belize, and I asked her if she would want to try Scuba instead. She jumped at the opportunity. The shop staff were great, the equipment was clean and in very good condition, and most importantly our Divemaster named "Pachi" was excellent. He made my daughter feel very calm & confident as he led us on her first dive. It is a PADI certified "Introduction to Diving" course and she absolutely loved it. Thanks again for the great Cozumel diving experience!

The experience itself was awesome for our family of four ages 14-46! Things I wish I knew beforehand: the walk to the shop is about 15 minutes outside the port and different from the place where you dive, so read the directions for the meeting point thoroughly. Each person has to complete official PADI training before you can start, but they don’t send you the link until a day or two before, and we were already on the cruise ship without service, so we showed up an hour before our appointment and completed it at the dive shop. Gael was so patient, thorough, and made the experience beautiful. He provided waters and carried all the equipment to the dive spot. There were lots of dive companies using the spot to learn, but they didn’t go on the extended 30 minute dive outside the practice area like Gael took us. My 73-year-old mom was able to sit and watch us the whole time right on the water…there is a restaurant above the dive spot to eat before or after. The experience itself was intimidating, as we had never been scuba diving (or even snorkeling) before, but are avid swimmers…Gael taught you everything you needed to know from hand signals, to removing water from your mask underwater and replacing your mouthpiece, and you earn your first dive for scuba certification. I would highly recommend this activity for a family of teens and Gael was amazing and keeps you calm underwater while showing you the beauty of the fish and coral, plus it was just our family with him instructing.

Upon arrival at the shop, everyone was so friendly and helpful. We were quickly fitted and went over the dive area. Renata was our instructor and she is AWESOME!! Renata carefully took about 45 minutes to explain all of the details, do's and don'ts. We entered the water by walking into a shallow area to begin practice. One of our tour divers had severe fright and decided not to continue, Renata took care of getting her out of water and out of her equipment. Once we were all ready, we dove in over 40 feet of water! It was amazing and the dive shop owner, Phil is a super nice guy. Highly recommend.

For me, it was my first diving experience ever. I was nervous but Gael, the instructor, was really helpful in calming me down :) In the end, I had so much fun, that we booked another session on the open water two days later. We saw so many great animals like eagle rays, barracudas, big crabs, lobsters, trumpet fish, and so on. If you are looking for a safe and encouraging diving experience you should definitely go with the Dive Boutique in Cozumel. Unfortunately, I am not in Mexico anymore but, I will take more diving sessions all around the world :)

Absolutely amazing!! The staff was awesome! Gael and Ramone were top notch! We had our family of five, ages 10-15 with us and it was the top excursion of our cruise. Ramone was amazing with our youngest, taking care of her the whole time so we could enjoy ourselves under the water. Gael was very knowledgeable and was a fantastic instructor! 10/10 would recommend and would absolutely do it again!

EXCELLENT!!! This has been one of our favorite excursions ever. We are hooked, and already looking forward to going back.

Great first scuba experience with family. Would highly recommend for anyone who has ever wanted to try scuba diving but did not want to commit to a full on certification. I wanted my teenage boys to experience this and decide for themselves if they wanted to pursue this interest. Instructors made us feel safe and the entire family had a great time.
