This was a very entertaining evening with the crew constantly keeping us entertained and drinks in our hands. The meal proportions were more than ample and the food was delicious. We would highly recommend this special evening on the water in Cozumel.

This excursion was amazing. They keep the alcohol flowing never had an empty cup. The entertainment was awesome and the food was fabulous. It was an amazing time from start to finish. If you are in Cozumel and looking for a great bang for your buck this is the excursion for you. The wife said it was her excursion the whole time we were here. We will definitely do it again when we return to Cozumel.
This is an absolute must when you visit Cozumel. The food and entertainment are top notch! I have been several times and will go several more times. Check out our Facebook page and YouTube channel @cozumel everyday for a fun video we did recently.
We go to Cozumel quite a bit and we’re looking for good lobster as it was one of our friends bday. Reviews were great so we thought we would give it a try! OMG, it did not disappoint from the minute we walked on the ship for 3 hours of fun, laughter, drinks and the food was phenomenal! I don’t know how they put so much energy and fun into this every night but they do and you will not be disappointed!! Every aspect of this dinner cruise is over the top. Highly recommend!!
This was a great experience, loads of fun. Food was delicious and the show was fantastic. Much better suited for adults with some drinking games.
We absolutely loved our experience, the food was delicious, the entertainment was amazing and everyone on board had fun from beginning till end! I would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone.. we had young kids (6 and 9) with us, and everything was perfect!
If you want great food, never ending drinks and a fun filled evening, this is for you. We met at the restaurant that was listed on our tickets. We walked 2 blocks to the Cozumel ferry area to board ship. From the beginning it was a blast. The crew entertains you throughout the evening. Drinks(beer, coke, margs, etc) keep coming out constantly. There is a little participation but all in good fun. The food was delicious. Between the 4 of us, we had the steak, chicken and lobster. Mmmmm good. I'm drooling just thinking about it. There was an anniversary couple and my hubby's b-day and the crew made their day a little more special. Our whole group was dancing and singing. Definitely do not miss this hidden secret. Price was well worth it. (Sail date Nov 30) The crew made the night unforgettable. 5🌟's
If you like to party and have a good time this is a MUST DO! My wife and I went and had so much fun. The crew is awesome and put on a fun show that gets everyone involved. The dinner was actually really good too. My wife and I never had an empty glass during the whole cruise. We'll definitely do this again next time we're in Cozumel.
Terrific crew - lots of fun and hijinx. We had three in our group, and there was another group with 5 people, so it was really intimate. The games were hilarious, and the crew performed a bunch of cheeky skits. There was dancing too. Plenty of drinks were poured - your glass was never empty. The food was outstanding. Two of got the surf and turf - great steak, and two perfectly cooked lobster tails. Our friend got chicken - also great. Big portions. We will definitely return - this is a must do if you are in Cozumel.
Sooo much fun! And great food. We had a great time and we were impressed with the quality of the food. I would recommend this to adults who are interested in a fun entertaining delicious dinner
A fun evening of drinking and laughing. The hosts seem to really enjoy what they did. The show is funny. There is dancing and liveliness on the boat even though there was a small amount of people due to the pandemic. Everybody was safe. Overall I highly enjoyable experience.
An amazing experience. This was a small ship, and a small crew, but they made it larger than life. Between the games, the music, and the food it was an unforgettable night. One thing to be beware of is that when they say open bar they mean it. I believe one of the crew came around every 10-15 minutes to make sure we didn't need another drink. Seriously amazing and fun!
Booked this through Cozumel Tours. The directions were to meet at Ambar Restaurant. There is not an Ambar Restaurant in Cozumel. Not only was our taxi driver confused (he has lived there all his life), but dispatch could not find the location. We decided to have him drop us at the pier - my husband and two kids (8 & 7) had to run to the ship to not miss it. Once we arrived we are certainly happy we did not miss this wonderful experience. Our kids were the only ones on the ship. They really made them feel special. They participated in their own kids game, which they won pirate prizes. They especially loved the sword fight. Some reviews recommend not taking kids on, but I never found anything to be too offensive for them. They enjoyed it just as much as we did. The staff is incredible. They are full of energy and really go out of their way to make sure everyone has a great time. The food was wonderful. The kitchen staff definitely deserves a thumbs up. The food came out promptly and everyone had plenty of time to enjoy their meal. If you find the time on your vacation to do this tour I would highly recommend it. Fun was had by all!!
If you ever visit Cozumel you HAVE to do this. It is so much fun. I’ve done it twice now and will do it every time I come. The pirates are amazing at their job and will make sure you have a great time. I could go on and on. Totally worth it! Pirates Ramone, scarlett, luigi and captain Draco is who we had both time. The food is so good too!!! This crew is just phenomenal. Below are pictures taken from both times we attended.
Get just the lobster....huge tail and offered seconds. Not recommended for younger than 16 due to jokes and drinking. Plenty to drink. Activities and shows were great. Staff was awesome. Slow to get started. Met at one location where they want to sell you chips and drinks then expect to walk to boat dock. Staff walked with me though and were very friendly. Had a great time! I went with my husband and my 29 year old daughter.
I have been on pirate dinner cruise 4 or 5 times... once every trip to Cozumel. Usually a GREAT TIME! However last night about half way through the fun... we got a hard sell from a tequila salesman for his product... totally inappropriate! Really lessened the total experience..... Pirates... LOOSE THE SALES PITCH FOR TEQUILA!
We went on this pirate ship dinner cruise I haven't had that much fun in a long time,,the show they put on is a belly laughing good time. All the pirates did an amazing job getting everybody involved in the show,,plenty of drinks and the food was so very good, we had chicken and it was grilled to perfection,,will definitely make this a regular thing when we go to cozumel again,,,don't miss this fun 3 hours
A group went on the diner cruise. Took quite a long time to load the pirate ship. Walked from meeting area waited for boat to get ready. Individual pictures taken before being seated. Drinks were never empty. Seems that is the goal.. lots and lots of drinks! Service was great. Costumes were great along with the pirate adventures. Dinner was amazing served individually which took some time. The staff know how to engage a crowd. A few of the games that were played were very entertaining but definitely not for everyone. If you like to participate in activities this is great. I did feel bad for a lady that was “picked” for one game she said no to staff which was overlooked and she clearly felt uncomfortable in the game. Music and dancing was fun! The boat does rock and move a lot. Overall a fun evening.
My family went on the pirate ship based on reviews from other travelers. We went to the meeting place by Fat Tuesdays, and they held a free drawing for jewelry from a local shop. I didn't win, but the prizes looked nice. We were supposed to walk to the ship at 5:30, but instead some local dancers did a street performance for fifteen minutes, so we didn't leave for the ship until almost 6:00. We then took the five minute walk to the pier where the ship was. The crew were already on board and they played music and gave a short preview to everyone - there were other people on the pier, not just the passengers. Once this was done, everyone queued up and went on board. You boarded one party at a time, and the crew posed with you for pictures as you came on board. Once we were all seated - you sat on benches and tables around the deck, with the entertainment going on in the middle of the deck - they served drinks. And served drinks. And still more drinks. The drinks never stopped! Meanwhile, the show began, As the ship began the cruise, the "pirate captain" introduced the crew and actors. The actors were beautiful women / handsome young men, who were funny and entertaining, They did sword fights, and other acrobatics, and there was a lot of comedy as well. They involved the audience with skits and jokes. While the crew set up for dinner, you were invited to meet the actors, take pictures/selfies, and explore the ship. Dinner was then served, they started with a small caesar salad. For my main course, I had the steak and lobster, The food was very good, the steak was a bit thin but still very juicy and tasty. It came with a small baked potato, rice, and veg. There was no dessert. And of course, more drinks. After dinner, the crew cleared the tables and the show continued, with more skits and dancing which included the audience. We did some line type dancing (where you would follow whatever actor was leading the dance), a conga line, and a limbo stick. Finally, when the ship went back to the pier, the actors gave a great farewell, and everyone left. My thoughts and impressions - Starting with the meeting spot, I didn't like the street dancers who performed in a very organized fashion. While they were good, I thought it was very tacky, especially when they passed the hat for tips to a very captive audience. The dancers could have been performing on the side all along, and not been provided a special time slot which took up some of the ship time. I loved that the crew all posed for pictures with each family/party that came on board. I'm not much a drinker, but the event was absolutely "all you could drink" The service was fantastic, your cup was never empty for a minute. The drinks were tasty, but I thought they were a bit weak. The show was a lot more adult themed than I was expecting. The women were very busty and wore revealing costumes, and they groped each other and made sexy gestures, sometimes involving the audience. I thought they were funny and I like this kind of humor and entertainment, but given that they have childrens pricing it made me think it was more of a family show. My kids are all older and you might not want to bring young children. The sklts and dialog were hard to follow sometimes, as they would do it in Spanish, and then in English. It took a while for me to get used to this. The actors and crew were very approachable and were genuinely interested in everyone having a great time. They made it feel like dinner theatre which I appreciated. The dancing wasn’t really my thing, it kind of broke the pirate theme and made it feel like any other party. I would have rather watched another skit or something more creative. But I did like the audience participation. The music tended to be quite loud, too loud for my comfort, especially the dancing. During dinner the music was also far too loud, it was impossible to talk normally or enjoy the sounds of the ocean as the ship cruised. I had to ask them to turn it down, which they did for about five minutes. Once the song changed, the volume was right back up again. While it was truly all you can drink, the show was NOT all you can eat. You get one salad and one plate of food. I was disappointed because I thought they had told me it was all you can eat when we bought tickets. Overall, I’m glad I went. While it seems a bit costly at first, being $85 usd for an adult, I though the pricing was fair and about what you’d pay for dinner theatre anywhere. I don’t know if they do different “shows” throughout the year, or if they do the same basic show. I probably wouldn’t go again unless I knew they were going to do a different show. And if they promised to turn the music down! At any rate, I hope this review helps you.
