Great Diving. Been to cabos and Australia but Cozumel is another world. Caves were fun to Watch and i’ve got to Watch turtles and rays. Beautiful scenery

Chankanaab park facilities were perfect, place was inmaculate and clean. Our tour guide jose was very friednly and helpful, he spoke perfect english and he really made me feel confident underwater. If you happen to tip them that'd be nice they deserve every penny of it. This was a great choice if you love the beach and traquility.

Great please if you are looking for relaxation. Drinks are pricey but tasty. Beach area is quiet and all you need. Good value for the price.

Great place for relaxation and beach time. Not crowded, servers are fast with your order and price is very affordable compared to theme Parks in USA. I would recommend to anyone looking for a good time.

Great theme park for kids and those looking for a tranquil time at the beach. We loved watching the sea lion show, though it was short ut was very cute to watch. There are a variety of restaurants and bars around the place but we had our lunch and drinks at Linda's place and we loved it kai kai was a great server. Totally worth it.

Great experience and very easy to navigate getting there. We took a taxi once we got off the boat, paid cash there and back. We were able to use our credit card to buy food, pay the $11.00 marine fee, and at the gift shop we visited. Great park to just walk around, snorkel and swim, relax, snorkel some more- it was nice not to be on a tour schedule. The reefs were great and lots of fish to look at! We would go again.

This was a great experience and value. The park itself has lots to do - a small replica Mayan ruin, botanical garden and sea lion show. However the real star is the snorkeling. Water when we went was clear blue and we saw a ton of fishes. The package provides a guide who shows you around the park and then guides you on a snorkeling tour, showing your where the statute was etc. We got Leo who was just the best. Super friendly, knowledgeable and patient with our family. (We thought he was a hawker when he greeted us at front but he comes with the tour!) The snorkelling was great. He took us around and showed the where the best fishes were and the statute. As testament to level of service when we came back I realized I dropped my gopro. Leo went back in water and with a other worker found it for us. Just dont get this level of service anywhere else. Our waiter Victor was also awesome. Very friendly and provided great service.

Highly recommend this excursion. Jose was an excellent guide. He took us to good snorkeling spots to see the corals and colorful fishes. There is also an underwater photographer who took our pictures with the fishes. We took the taxi from the cruise port for $50 for 9 people.

My tour guide Juan was great!! The park is big and has a lot to do. The tour is hosted by MJ aquatic and will help walk you to where you need to be.

Had a great snorkeling experience with Jose! We had first time snorkels in our group of 5 and one who was a little anxious but Jose took great care of us. He dove down several times to point out things we probably would have missed. Greatly recommend this tour. Great value for money, too since it included 2 drinks and a lunch. Our waiter, Hector, was also very attentive. Included sea lion show, free tequila tasting and botanical garden for those interested so lots to do that was included.,

very nice, but the water is very salty, but the tour is very good. The guy is very nice. But i hate salt so thats just my fault. LOL. Thank you Felipe!!!!! Hes so sweet and they are all so helpful and we got 2 free drinks and lunch. Also he told us what else we can do!! also they take pictures and give you a water tour if you want for no extra charge

We had the best snorkeling guide, Jose. He was amazing. Seeing as this was our very first time snorkeling, he was patient and extremely helpful. He pointed many things out to us and we had a blast. Would recommend him to everyone. I also wanted to give a shout out to Aguilar, our photographer. Took some really nice photos and we can't wait to create our album. Thank you guys for a great experience!

Wonderful wonderful snorkeling experience, kids LOVED it

The beach was clean. The staff was very attentive, MJ Aquatics personally gave us a tour and set us up with our gear, chairs, and drinks. The water was super clear and we saw lots of fish. I even saw a ray. The bonus was the sea lion show and gardens. We didn’t do the dolphins or manatees, but many people did. I was concerned about getting taxis to and from Chankaanab, but it was very easy. You just get in the next taxi in line. We paid $17 for two. There was no seaweed. Others said beaches on the other side of the island were full of seaweed, smelly, and too disgusting to get in the water. We had a blast snorkeling for the first time! It made it so much easier to have a life vest. I wish I could go back.

Jose was a great guide for family with two first time snorkelers (11/13). Really affordable and enjoyable. Easy taxi ride and more affordable through Costco.

Felipe was super informative and personable. Great with the kids. Very attentive and accommodating.

You only get into the park. They give you snorkel stuff and expect you to pay a marina fee even if you aren’t using their snorkeling items. Diving costs more, even if you don’t dive they charge you a marina fee. You can’t do anything else at the park. Just pay the actual people at the park when you get there. It’s super cheap and allows you to go most things plus get food and drinks all day.

Felipe was an amazing Tour Guide. Super patient and helpful with children. My Family thoroughly enjoyed this excursion and highly recommend this for families. There is plenty to do for all ages. Thanks again to the entire Team!

Had an outstanding experience with this place. We were especially impressed with Jose, our snorkeling guide. He went above and beyond to ensure all our concerns were met. We highly recommend them to anyone looking to experience a top-notch snorkeling adventure. The park is beautiful and Jose was very informative.

Great experience they met us at the front gate gave use tickets and walked us through the park giving us a little tour to their booth. They are most known for scuba diving tours but the snorkeling comes with vests which was great for drift snorkeling along the marked reefs in the cove.

Our guid Jose was phenomenal top-tier experience!!! my wife, and I highly recommend!!! my first time. Snorkeling was a horrible experience. This time was amazing. This is a must do!!

Be aware of the extra fee of $11.00 that is not disclosed until you have already signed up. All the fees should be included with the price. Not a good way to promote the business

Leo was such a fantastic guide! He helped our family with the most amazing snorkel experience and we made such incredible memories! He was so helpful with our 7, 9 and 11 year old and my husband who LOVES the water life! Highly recommend! We also purchased the photos and 100% worth it to just enjoy the moment!

Great day! Rain was forecasted, so it was quiet over at the snorkeling/diving area. Our tour included a guide for 30 minutes-and he was excellent. Leo I think! The water was so clear and there were many beautiful fish. This was one of the best places I have ever snorkeled. There was some purplish - coral plants on the reef. I highly recommend this place! No need to pay more money to go out in a boat. The staff throughout the park were very friendly - amd the park was clean.

The snorkeling guide, Leo, is a very nice and professional guide. We are the first time with snorkeling. He took care of the group patiently. The food in the park is a little expensive.

I think the owner is very experienced with snorkeling, which was reassuring. However, I believe they should provide some basic training in shallow water first, especially for beginners. My 6-year-old daughter cried during the experience, and I ended up choking and swallowing a lot of seawater — definitely not something you want to experience again. My husband and son enjoyed the experience.

I give a 5 star for the people there. They were so wonderful and kind and understanding and offered to refund us. However, I gave it a 3 star. Because we had planned on snorkeling, but the water was too rough. And it was never opened up. And there's basically nothing else to do, unless you want to swim with the dolphins or manatees, and that was not our plans.

We had Jose as our snorkeling guide. He was very calm and experienced. The beach area was clean, with plenty of chairs/loungers. Snorkeling gear was good. Showers were clean. Very good place for snorkeling but no shallow waters for beach experience.

Had a great time diving for the first time! Charlie made us feel at ease instantly and was a great guide under the water. We definitely want to dive again after this experience

I did a solo dive with Charlie and William. I had an amazing experience. They were patient and pointed out many beautiful fish and monuments. Highly highly recommend. Get the picture package as well!

I spent a wonderful day here today. I bought the beach and snorkeling pass at the last minute this morning, because I wanted to make sure the weather was going to be good. I was a solo traveler, and I took a cab from the Puerto Maya dock for $15. Upon arrival at the National Park, I was greeted by Felipe, who gave me a little tour of what was offered with my pass. The archaeological area and botanical gardens, and a stretch of beach. Palapas, umbrellas, and lounge chairs are included as well as snorkeling gear, but towels are not provided. If you’re on a cruise, take one from the ship? FYI this is not a swimming beach. It’s for people who want to snorkel or scuba. The snorkeling was excellent, even though the water was a little choppy. Beautiful reefs and coral, thousands of sardines, a few barracudas, and even a sea turtle! There are also some underwater statues which are fun. There was an additional $11 in US that I had to pay for possibly entrance to the national park? After snorkeling, Victor made me a lovely margarita that was not too sweet. There are clean bathrooms nearby that also include showers. There were 7 cruise ships in port today, so I expected the area to be much busier, but in light of recent events, I guess I understand why people might not feel comfortable getting off the ship. But I was happy to spend a day in this little corner of paradise. I will definitely be back!

Charlie was a great guide and that was the best diving experience I have had to date. I’ve done around 6-7 dives and that was BY FAR the best! Great pricing, great diving trust me just do this one!

We did the snorkeling and park excursion. You get yourself to the park and someone walks you to the spot on the beach where you pay your $11 marine fee, pick up your gear and a key to a locker. You can put your towels on lounge chairs while you're in the water. The ticket said "welcome drink included", but we did not get one. Paid $4.50 USD for a coke. There was no guide. You just figure it out yourself and hand in your gear when done. Nothing special. Included admission to the park, so you can spend some time walking around.

Super fun! José was super knowledgeable about the different types of fish and very friendly!!
