We were shown where a buffet lunch would be served and then were directed to a table and chairs and told it was for ours for the day. I didn't want a dining table, I wanted lounge chairs. Too bad. We were told it was our spot. Turns out, there were very few lounge chairs and no umbrellas with them. There was virtually I beach as waves were coming right up to those lounge chairs. So we sat at this table with people all around us eating. I didn't come here for this. So we left and went back to the cruise ship.

Mr Sanchos is an awesome place to relax during your cruise. The food and drinks are good. The serve is great and the people there are not pushy when it comes to trying to sell you stuff. Beach is clean and pools are well maintained along with their bathrooms. Kids can enjoy the place to with places for families to hang out and kids can play in their kid friendly water park.

Awesome place to spend a whole day. Servers were excellent and very attentive. They took amazing care of us. Facilities were clean. Restrooms very clean all through out the day even though the club was hosting close to 700 people. Getting there and returning is cheap and efficient at $20 for 4 person and $40 for 8 one way. The shops at the club have everything you need to buy, in case you forgot something. Only feedback I have is that the restrooms can use a bit more of lighting. During day time, the showers felt a bit dark.

Everything was absolutely perfect! The food was amazing and the drinks kept coming! We will definitely be back! Memo (Nemo) and Jesús made everything feel personalized like we were old friends!

Laid back , resort was very clean.. beach was nice and they had a pool on site.. food was good and the staff waited on you at all times .

The food wasn’t great. I don’t think it was worth the money by the time you pay $20 each way for taxi. Several different people walking around wanting you to buy pictures, massages and hair braiding.

Customer service is always excellent, the pools and the beach are clean and beautiful (and the pools are always the perfect temperature. The drinks keep coming and the food is pretty good too. The servers are a lot of fun, and will happily dance and take photos with the guests, and they go on it of their way to make sure everyone feels welcomed and comfortable.

My whole family loved this place!! The food was good, the drinks kept flowing, but the service? that is on a whole other level. Planning to go back to Cozumel, just to go back here. 1000/10 recommended.

Mr Sanchos never fails to be a perfect daily excursion. This was my 3rd trip and I know anytime I am in the area I plan to be there.

Honestly, very convenient and pretty spot. Snorkeling right off the beach was great. We saw all kinds of cool things including Lian Fish, Barracuda and a shy Octopus, all right around the floating park area. Food was good but I would have loved a little more "real" Mexican food and less gringo friendly bland items. Not a knock really since most of their clients are US Tourists. The wife and daughter both got massages and they both said they were better and about a third of the cost of the ones offered on the ship. Vendors were present but not too aggressive and there were plenty of cabs waiting outside when we were ready to go back to the ship. All and all a great day was had by all.

Mr. Sancho's Beach Club: Our Experience Was Well Worth It! We visited Mr. Sancho's Beach Club in Cozumel in mid-October 2026, arriving on a Carnival cruise. Before our visit, we had read some negative online reviews that left us with a few concerns. We're happy to report that our experience was a very positive one, and our worries turned out to be largely unfounded. We're sharing the details of our visit because we know how helpful firsthand experiences can be when deciding how to spend a day in port. Getting There and Back: Easier Than We Expected Transportation was one of our initial concerns, but getting to and from Mr. Sancho's turned out to be straightforward and stress-free. At the cruise port, we walked through the port area to the taxi stand, checked the posted fare of $20, confirmed the price with our driver, and were soon on our way. An important clarification: the $20 fare was for the cab carrying 1–4 people, not $20 per person. When we arrived at Mr. Sancho's, we discovered that paying the taxi fare by credit card was also an option, although there was a premium for using that payment method. It was a nice convenience to have available. Getting back to the cruise port was just as easy. When we were ready to leave, more than 30 taxis were lined up waiting for passengers. An attendant directed us to the next cab in line, and off we went. Our transportation concerns were completely unfounded. Based on our experience, we wouldn't hesitate to use this same arrangement again. Arrival, Seating, and Outstanding Service Check-in for guests with reservations was easy and straightforward. We paid the remaining balance for our day passes, received our wristbands, and were assigned an attendant to help us get settled. We wanted a table near the beach with lounge chairs, and our attendant guided us to exactly what we were looking for: a table and chairs in the front row just back from the beach. We were introduced to the second member of our service team, and before long we were being asked what we would like to eat and drink. One interaction particularly impressed us. When we offered a tip at the beginning of our visit, the attendant politely declined, explaining that we should wait until the team had actually earned it. That certainly made an impression on us! Our service team was Carlos and Roger, and we couldn't have asked for better attention to our needs and wishes. They made us feel well taken care of throughout our visit, and their service was a real highlight of our day. We look forward to seeing Carlos and Roger again and hope to have them as our service team on future visits to Mr. Sancho's! The Beach and Swimming Conditions We're Beach People, and the beach was the primary reason for our visit. We were very pleased with our experience. The designated swimming area was marked by floating rope barriers, making it easy to identify. The beach had a fairly steep initial slope toward the water, but once we entered the ocean, the bottom became more gradual. We found the ocean bottom comfortable underfoot, with very little rocky or uncomfortable terrain. We had brought water shoes but didn't find them necessary during our visit. Sea conditions were generally pleasant, with mostly small waves. Occasionally, larger waves rolled in when powerboats traveling to other destinations passed by. That's part of being at a beach where boats are operating nearby, rather than something the beach club can control. There were no small children at the beach during our visit, so we can't speak to their experience firsthand. However, based on the swimming area and the conditions we encountered, we would not have hesitated to bring small children to enjoy the water, with appropriate adult supervision. We also brought our snorkeling gear and spent some time exploring the water. Although we didn't snorkel for an extended period or cover the entire available area, we found a couple of rocky outcrops with small clumps of developing coral and small groups of Caribbean reef fish. We weren't disappointed with what we found, but snorkeling wasn't the main reason for our visit. If a prime snorkeling experience is your main goal, Mr. Sancho's might not be your first choice. For visitors primarily interested in enjoying the beach, swimming in the Caribbean, and relaxing by the water, however, our experience was very positive. Food and Drinks: Two Thumbs Up! Our food and drink experience gets two thumbs up from us! Let's start with the drinks. The serving cups weren't particularly large, but that wasn't a problem for us. Carlos and Roger regularly checked on us before our drinks were gone, and whether we wanted another cocktail or a bottle of water, our next drink arrived promptly. We ordered cocktails from the menu at our table and enjoyed trying some unfamiliar combinations. One favorite, the A Ticket to Fly, was good enough that we reordered it several times. We had read reviews suggesting that Mr. Sancho's was watering down its drinks. That wasn't our experience at all. We enjoyed our cocktails and had no reason to share that complaint. As for food, there's a buffet offering the kind of fare you'd expect at a tropical beach club. We didn't sample the buffet, choosing instead to order from the menu at our table. We went with the nachos and coconut shrimp, and both were satisfying. The food arrived relatively quickly, and we had no complaints about either dish. With more time and bigger appetites, we probably would have tried more items on the menu. As it was, we were happy with our choices and the food and drinks we enjoyed throughout our visit. Facilities and Cleanliness We spent most of our visit enjoying the beach, so our observations of the facilities are limited to what we actually used and saw. As you might expect at an outdoor beach club, the wind moves sand and leaves around, and we noticed sand on some loungers, chairs, and hard-surface walkways. We didn't find any of this offensive. We're pretty laid-back people, and we recognize that keeping an outdoor beach environment spotless all day isn't a realistic expectation. We both used the restrooms and found them perfectly adequate for our needs. They weren't spotless, and there was sand on the floor, but we're at a beach club, after all! The plumbing worked, soap was available in the dispensers, and the trash receptacles weren't overflowing. We had no complaints about the restroom facilities. We also walked past the swimming pool, which has a swim-up bar and small tables scattered around the sides. The swim-up bar was certainly popular during our visit, although we spent our time at the beach rather than at the pool. Overall, the facilities we used met our expectations for a relaxed day at a beach club. Overall Value: Was It Worth It? Absolutely! From the time we got into a taxi at the cruise port until we returned to the port at the end of our day, nothing about our experience diminished our feeling that the visit was worthwhile. Considering the food and drinks we enjoyed, the attentive service from Carlos and Roger, and the beach and swimming experience we came for, we felt the day was well worth the price of our passes. We're not particularly heavy eaters or drinkers, so visitors who enjoy more food and beverages than we did might find the value even greater. We're aware that our expectations and priorities may differ from those of some other reviewers. We're not claiming that every visitor will have the same experience, and we can only speak to what we encountered on our visit. But we wanted to share our firsthand impressions because they were substantially more positive than some of the reviews we had read beforehand. For us, Mr. Sancho's delivered the relaxing beach day we had hoped for. The transportation was easy, the service was excellent, the food and drinks were enjoyable, and the beach was exactly where we wanted to spend our day. We left happy with our experience, would gladly return, and would recommend Mr. Sancho's to other cruise passengers looking for a relaxing beach day in Cozumel!

Staff was amazing, drinks amazing, and food was spectacular. 2nd visit came wait to go back already. Ezee and Hugo took very good care of us.

We have gone to Mr. Sanchos previously and it is still a great option for Cozumel. The staff is incredibly friendly and provide excellent service. The all inclusive has plenty of food and drink options. I especially like that they have both loungers and chairs and tables with large umbrellas to shield from the sun or rain. I do recommend.

This is our second trip to Mr. Sanchos. The food is good and plentiful. Service this time was top notch with Manuel/Tabasco and Brito being our servers. It was much less crowded this time, than when we were there in May. It's an easy cab ride to/from the cruise port. We were having so much fun, we didn't want to leave, but had to get back to our ship. We would definitely return again!

The wait staff is wonderful. They ensure you are taken care of and have a great time. There are a few pools with tables and stools inside the pools which is a nice feature. The swim up bars are a nice touch even though wait staff is constantly walking around to clean up and take orders.

The waiters are very nice. Our waiter was Angel. He did a great job in taking care of our table. The other waiter who was nicknamed Chicken Little was nice also!

Beach was nice, service and staff were excellent. Frozen drinks were very sugary and served watered down. Ordered a vodka soda with a splash of cranberry and it had no flavor so I am also assuming the spirits had been watered down as well. We then stuck to beer. Food was decent. Good value for what we paid and what was included.

We've gone to Mr. Sanchos the last 3-4 years and loved it. The last time was 2 years ago. This time it was so crowded, which is good business for you but my chicken quesadilla was so dry and cold. All of the edges were dried and cracked. I ate some of it but it wasn't edible which surprised me because the food used to be so good and that's the only thing I ate. Also throughout the 3 ½ hours I was there I ordered 4 frozen drinks. In every single one the cup was half full of big chunks of ice. That's surprised me also because I never experienced that in the past either. $80 for horrible lunch and drinks. It was not worth it. Now let me also say the place was clean. Our waiter, Saul was amazing. He was very friendly and kept checking on us. Bathroom was clean also. The tide was in so there was hardly no room for the lounge chairs. They were on the area where there's a drop down in the sand. The incline was so severe. Only option was to move the chair in the water.

Line was way too long! Very unorganized! And food was terrible no flavor . And I tried several things. And no where to sit or lay because remember other cruise ships drop off at same time . I will never go back

This beach is fantastic. The waiters are always there to bring you food and drinks. The beach is soft sand. The water is clear and beautiful. They have a foot cleaning spot so you can put your walking shoes on. Short taxi ride to the beach. Clean bathrooms.

VERY clean and well maintained. They had workers continuously raking the sand and literally spearing fallen leaves on the ground from the tree’s; thats attention to detail!! Service was solid, drinks were tasty, pools were super clean and the food was good. Really enjoyed the endless butterflied shrimp. My only delta would be lack of variety for beer but hey; I’m in Mexico not America. 5 stars for us.

We had a wonderful time at Mr. Sancho's. The staff, especially Julio and Roger, were attentive and helpful. The food was good and plentiful. The drinks were a little on the weak side. We had a nice table in the shade with two loungers in front. We enjoyed beach and the ocean. Our only small complaint was that we picked a day when they didn’t have the Buffet, which we would’ve liked to have tried. All inall it was worthwhile and we will definitely return.

This was our first visit to Mr Sanchos but it won’t be our last! At check in, our private server led us to a table on the beach while pointing out the buffet area and restrooms. Although it rained most of the day, Jose was very attentive and suggested items on the menu we might want to try. The coconut shrimp was delicious as well as the tacos and fajitas. Next time I hope the sun shines!

The food awesome drinks great very affordable, with some great excursions! I loved it i will visit again!!

The experience felt rushed, the server set us down and started taking drink orders and wasn’t very pleasant. There wasn’t any tour to let us know what, when or where things were for the full experience. It was a lot of our first times visiting.
