The cooking experience was nice. We learned how to make guacamole had tequila tasting, and a delicious chicken tacos. I expected to learn a little more about their cooking. Beach was nice. Drinks was excellent. Great service.

We had a great time! I loved that there were different sections at this park. There was a water park near the entrance, as well as a large beach with tons of chairs and umbrellas. The beach itself had sections for adult only and families. We also added the Mexican Flavors to our day pass and Jazmin and Yolanda were such a delight! They made lunch very fun and engaging, I only wished I could’ve eaten everything offered!
I was very disappointed with the Mexican "cooking" class. The only things we were able to do hands on were the guacamole and pressing of tortillas. No recipes were offered for take home. The staff focused their attention on select people and when we asked for recipes, we were told they were too difficult for us to have. Also to note, I stated that I had an allergy at the beginning of the class. One of the items smelled like it had the allergen in it but they repeatedly stated that it did not. This was false as I had a reaction after ingesting it. This disregard for health is concerning. The beach club itself needs quite a bit of work done on it. In the restroom, only 1 of 3 sinks worked. Music was blasting like you were in the middle of a club. I would recommend anyone who is looking for a luxe experience to give KUZÁ a pass until they make improvements. The pricing was not in line with the experience at all.
We visited Cozumel for a beach day at Kuza, taking the ferry from Playa Del Carmen. We were earlier than planned but sat on the clean, sandy beach until the class was ready to start. Yasmin (teacher?), Yolanda (assistant?), and David (photographer) were very friendly and helpful. Both alcoholic and non-alcohohic drinks were offered even before the actual class started. We each had our own equipment and made the most amazing guacamole (I didn't know you should only use Haas avocados!), hand made tortillas and then ate it all plus tacos. The women wore local dress and showed the traditional way of making corn meal. It was definitely a well done small group class. The rest of the day was spent at the beach where there were plenty of loungers available, pavilions scattered around, and towels available to rent if needed. Water activities, hair braiding, etc. was also offered at an additional cost. The entire outing was not only reasonably priced but made for a fun day that I would gladly repeat. The only disappointment was the buffet that was included. It wasn't bad but the quality of the food was nothing special, especially after the wonderful taste of the food in the cooking class. I should mention that there are specialty items were available at an additional cost from the restaurant that seemed to be more appetizing.
We spent our cruise port day at Kuza’s beach club. We did the all inclusive along with the cultural culinary experience. It was wonderful day and the experience was fun. The staff were friendly and wanted to ensure we had a great day.
Excellent way to spend a day ! Beautiful beach friendly staff excellent food and drink !! Love !!!!!
We had an amazing experience at Kuza Beach. Bernice is a fantastic historian and storyteller of the Mexican flavors. Then getting to experience the beautiful beach and turquoise waters was a cherry on top. We hope to visit again.
The resort is very nice but be careful they stole our iPhone while we was there we even gave them the location where the phone was at and they still did nothing. We tried contacting the police nothing I contacted the us embassy hoping they will send someone to the address. Just be careful with you thing you leave there. Because they try to tell you it’s not there employees but when you give them the address where the phone is they still won’t do anything. We was on a cruise so we had to leave. Very nice resort just be careful
Let me say that the staff at Kuza was very nice but that's pretty much the only positive for me. Taxi rides to and from the park were very expensive. Pretty much predatory and there is absolutely no mention of that cost when booking the excursion. Just FYI it cost $65 for 2 adults and 3 kids one way. We were told we could negotiate but once they know you have reservations, you're at their mercy. When we arrived at Kuza, we were taken back to the beach and told that our Mexican flavors class was at 9:15am and then another staff member told us 9:30. We arrived around 9:20 and the table was completely booked so we had to wait an hour for the next class. We went to get our drinks from the open bar and were told our package only included drinks during the class. I had to speak with 3 different people before we finally were able to get our drinks. We went back to the flavors class and made sure to be there very early. It was fun, the kids really enjoyed it. After the class, we walked to the family beach to get our gear to go snorkeling. We had a 30 minute time limit for that which was not nearly enough time but the kids did enjoy the little time we had. Finally, the buffet was mediocre. Not really much else to say about that. This experience left me wishing I had purchased a different excursion or just stayed in the port. We could have eaten lunch for much less money but, you live and you learn.
Our Carnival cruise excursion was exceptional. Henry, our tour guide, provided an incredibly enjoyable experience, and Sergio, our driver, ensured our safe transportation. We eagerly anticipate a return visit and highly recommend this excursion to all.
Alfredo was a fantastic tour guide. We really enjoyed getting to know the local landscape and felt well taken care of the entire time!
Wow. Booked thru Vacations To Go options. Didn't know what to expect. It was fabulous, beginning to End. Our guide, Jesus took great care of all of us. He let us know every detail for our 5 hour excursion. Last stop was 1.5 hrs at the beach. Loungers were plenty in this beautiful. Lots of tequila samples there. It was fun, top down on tour bus for first leg, and closed to shield us from the sun. Windows were wide open. Jesus and his driver Alfredo were the best. You'll be in for a treat. Only $50 each.
Denisse was amazing! No one was lost or left behind, she informed us on some great stuff! The resort as well we the transportation were both amazing as well. No complaints!
Mario and Stewart were very knowlegeable and it was a good tour.. The beach was amazing. We will return to Cozumel. Beautiful and enjoyable
Jorge was great. Come again. Must see book through carbonation weather and food music and clean beach...... please book
Jorge was amazing, 10 stars all around. The food was great, the experience was amazing, I plan to come again. The drinks were awesome, thanks to Fernando for a great time.
This was one of the best excursions I’ve been on. Alfredo was an awesome tour guide. This place is newly opened, about 7 months ago. I was nervous at first because of how new it was… but it exceeded my expectations. This place was huge! The food was amazing and they offered a lot of extras. The beach was phenomenal with extraordinary staff all over the beach. I didn’t want to leave!! The only thing that I can say needs improvement is that the excursion should include time for getting to the beach and back on top of having four hours on the beach itself. Maybe make the experience five hours instead of four. Over all… this was literally the best experience I had on a cruise.., I’ve been on four! They are also adding a pool and water park! I need to come back!
We had an amazing culinary experience with Denisse and Maria. We would definitely recommend this experience. Very informative and delicious!
Alfredo Cruz was our tour guide, he provided us with all the activities available and told us all the future plans. Excellent service from everyone we encounter. Highly recommend!
Alfredo Cruz was wonderful trip advisor!! BEAUTIFUL Beach and good food!! Everyone was so friendly and helpful! We will definitely visit again!
We just got back from our “Kuza Beach Park All Inclusive Pass” shore excursion with Royal Caribbean. Our experience was amazing! We had two adults, a 9 year old and 3 year old. I suffer from car sickness and always get nervous with bus rides, but it was honestly the easiest 15-20 min trip. We had Daniel as our bus driver! At the beach there were plenty of chairs, umbrellas, hammocks and trees for shade. We waited no more than 5 mins for our drinks. Tons of drink options, coke, diet, mocktails, cocktails, lemonade, tap beer, orange juice and pineapple juice. It really is limitless for drinks that are included in the pass. Bottled beer and tall party grenade cups were extra. The water is purified and the ice is made with purified water. The men’s and woman’s bathrooms both had changing tables for diaper changes. The food at the buffet was delicious! Crystal clear blue water. No smoking allowed at Kuza, which we didn’t mind at all. There are many free activities offered, like face painting, sand castle building contest, piñata party, etc. There are some add ons for additional costs, like hair braiding, henna tattoos, popsicles, popcorn, cotton candy and massages on the beach… all were very reasonable and priced from $5-70 USD. There were lockers by the changing rooms. Our tour guide, Henry, was very funny and helpful! The owners really tried to think of everything when building Kuza and we can’t wait to come back!
It was such a wonderful experience!!! We had the best day! Our kids loved it! They got their face painted and participated in a sand cantle competition!
Great experience with Jorge ver informational and very funny cracking jokes , enjoyed it with my whole family very much recommend!
Great excursion for your family. The food was delicious. The accommodations was great and the staff was very helpful. Definitely treat yourself to a massage when you get here.
Jorge did a amazing job loved this beach!! Will be back next time we come back! Great beach with clear water. Wait staff was tentative. Help my dad who was hard of walking get to his designated chair and he enjoyed it.
I would 100% recommend this beach break! The best ever (I’ve been on 21 cruises) the water is extremely clear and the service is too notch! Food is on point! Drinks and first class.
We came on a Holland America cruise. We selected for the Kiza experience as a shore excursion. We were very pleased with the facilities, the food and the drinks. Our guide was Isaac who was a great guide and was very helpful! When the water park is completed, it will enhance the experience!
Beautiful scenery, plenty to do do, jet skis, tequila tasting, kayaking etc. Jorge was a phenomenal tour guide. Buffet food was on point. Luis the bartender hooked us up with all our beverages.
Alfredo was an amazing guide and made sure we were all taken care of during our trip to Mexico. Best guide we could’ve asked for!!
It was amazing. Alfredo was very informative. We spend all day here and it was so relaxing. Andres brought us drinks right to our seat.
Kuza beach Mexican flavor excursions was an easy trip from the NCL Prima. Pepe and Yolanda were fantastic they showed us how to make guacamole then we made great tacos. A great experience.
I ordered the Deluxe Pass for four. The staff and service were good - smiles and solid attitudes. The beach was huge and it wasn't crowded at all. However, I won't be returning after my experience. 1) Food. The buffet was TINY and didn't change at all throughout the day. There were no options available other than the small-sized buffet. I couldn't believe there weren't any of the basics like bread, burgers, fries or pizza. It said "Mexican Flavor" buffet - which is fine - but if it's directed at tourists you should have some variety. For pickier eaters or those with dietary restrictions - the options SLIM. This needs a huge improvement. They had a "menu" of alternative items that included a burger but they were $20USD each. Paying $20 for a burger after already paying for all-inclusive is ludicrous. "Menu items" should be reserved for premium foods like Steak, etc. 2) Having to rent towels. On the purchase page for deluxe there is no mention of towels NOT being included in your purchase. We didn't bring these with us because it was not made clear that we would need to rent them for $6USD each. It's unfortunate because by requiring us to pay for towels, it ate into our tipping budget - which affects their employees. This needs to be either made clear to purchasers (if we knew we would have just brought our own) or simply offered as a part of the beach club access. It's pretty ridiculous having to bring your own or pay for towels when it's obviously clear one will be needed as a part of the excursion. A simple deposit should suffice. 3) Locker rental. This was less surprising than the towel rental, but another "added surcharge" is that you need to rent lockers for $6USD per locker. They were all sitting there unused. Why not just make the experience better for your customers by offering them on a first come first serve basis? 4) Entertainment. It started to rain fairly heavily upon our arrival. We proceeded to enter the buffet restaurant and get shelter. Not long after the restaurant became full with other people also getting shelter, two "performers" entered in a mayan cultural ensemble. One with a drum. They proceeded to perform a cultural dance while smashing on the drum. It was cool for a few minutes - providing a "taste of Mexico" but it became overdone - extending to about 10-15 mins. Customers couldn't go elsewhere (because of the rain) and were forced to listen to LOUD drumming while this took place (maybe it wasn't as bad at the opposite side of the restaurant but for our table it was). I thought to myself how brutal that would have been if you were recovering from the night before on a cruise ship (it was the morning still). It was also impossible to have a conversation. I can appreciate and respect the traditions but it needs to be done at a time/in an area where customers can decide if they want to watch. The performance should be shorter as well. There was 2 "fake endings" where people thought it was over, clapped, and they continued going. I got the vibe everyone was clapping out of respect but actually wanted it to be over so they could get back to their conversations. This might sound disrespectful but it's just the truth. When people are on vacation, they want to do what they want to do - and they paid good money to do so. Final Verdict: I won't be returning to this beach club with so many other options available. It's unfortunate because the beach area itself is huge & has a lot of potential. The towel rental felt ultra scammy and only hurts the people doing hard work there. It had a lot of good reviews so it was a disappointing experience.
Denisse was friendly and helpful from port to resort. And in the class Pepe and Jolonda were fantastic instructors who showed us how to make a small bites of tacos al pastor and guacamole. We also had a delicious fruit punch to drink and were given samples of variety of tequila to try with our food. Lastly, we had a dessert made from avocado. I never realized they could be used in sweet dishes. We then had the rest of our excursion time to relax on the beach. Overall Kuza is an up and coming excursion location with lots of things coming. Can’t wait to see the place again when construction is done!
Very smooth excursion off NCL Prima. Super organized. Loved it. Great guide! Denise was a great guide. Lots of chairs at the beach in the shade.
Good excursion Great food. Loved making our own guac. The tacos were excellent. Loved the coconut tequilla. A bit pricy so didn't purchase.
We had a great time! Everyone was so nice and attentive! We never went without a drink in our hand and Jorge our guide was fantastic and hilarious. 10/10 would recommend
Andres was so thoughtful and funny. Made our hectic trip so much easier Will come back to the new park soon! Until next time
The service and drinks were perfect. The beach area and chairs were clean. The rest rooms were also clean. The fruit flies were annoying.
Fantastic experience. Beautiful facilities and staff are wonderful. Pepe did our culinary experience and was funny, engaging and informative. Food was excellent. We enjoyed the “Chill Beach”
Jorge was amazing! Very informative and very good tour guide! Great beaches and WONDERFUL drinks.. Buffet was very good! We WILL be back!!
Jorge was great and Fernando made sure we had everything we needed. I recommend this excursion. The food was excellent.
It was a great time! Great food and very relaxing! Plenty of seating and beautiful water. The attendants were fantastic and kept the drinks coming!
Excellent beach. Water crystal clear. Little bit of seawood but no more than expected. Could see fish in the water. Food was good but service was wonderful. Really enjoyed our server and travel guide Denisse. Only think I would improve is length. Disney cruise says 4.75 hours. But by time travel is done it is closer would have liked and additional 2-3 hours to relax.
We had the most amazing time at Kuza park in Cozumel. The staff is so kind and welcoming. The site is pristine with beautiful sand and blue waters to swim in. There are plenty of beach chairs and shade! We enjoyed the lunch buffet and beachside waiters ensured we never went thirsty. My wife did a 4 hand massage for an hour and it was excellent. Jorge our tour guide made sure we had an excellent time and made it back to our cruise ship with plenty of time to explore the port and load back on deck in time to leave! We will definitely be back again!
Jorge was incredible! I’ve been on beach trips a few times with cruises in Cozumel and this was by far the best. The tequila tasting was incredible and my kids loved it. Super well maintained and lots of shaded seating.
Our tour guide, Bernice, was amazing! Very knowledgeable and so helpful. The food was pretty good. Our drinks never ran dry! Overall, this was a great experience!
The beach was beautiful, service was great. Great beach break. We came on a celebrity cruise excursion it was worth the price all inclusive for and drinks. Our tour guide Bernice was amazing.
We visited Kuza as a day excursion from a Royal Caribbean ship. The trip to Kuza was a short trip and was very informative led by our tour guides, Alfredo and Cladio. Once there everything was explained to us and we had reserved seats so that we did not have to hunt for anything. Clean restrooms, fantastic food, beautiful beaches, and so many activities! Would recommend for anyone!
What an amazing experience! Alex, Tony and Daniel took great care of us at the beach and made our experience great! Jorge was our tour guide with high energy and made the time we had there memorable! Highly recommend spending a nice relaxing day here with good drinks and great food! And do the tequila tasting!!
Excellent experience at Kuza Beach in Cozumel! Our tour guide Jorge was amazing-friendly, knowledgeable, and made the trip fun and informative. The bus driver, Cesar, was also very professional and helpful throughout the day. Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Cozumel!
