El Cielo Cozumel Snorkel Private Boat + Food + Drinks + Beach

Victor and Oscar could not have been better! Such a memorable tour. Saw turtles, starfish, stingrays, puffer fish. It was like being dipped in an aquarium. Cerveza and ceviche to end the trip was just perfect! Cannot recommend them more!!!

The snorkeling in Cozumel is amazing! This tour is wonderful. We unfortunately had terrible weather but still had an amazing time snorkeling. The only advice I’d give is to bring your own snorkeling gear if possible. Especially if you have children. The gear provided will work but it’s adult size and not the most comfortable. Other than that, our guide was great and we loved this tour!

Great experience. Oscar was a great guide and took pictures/video of our group while we explored. We got to see numerous fish, sea turtles, sharks and stingrays. The ceviche and guacamole were fantastic. Would recommend this activity to anyone visiting Cozumel.

The tour itself, the snorkeling, the area we stopped was amazing and our group of four loved it. Why I only gave it three stars, is first of all put your sunscreen on before getting on board the boat as they tell you, you cannot put any sunscreen on and then get into the ocean water. So, of course we got sun burned. Also, even though it says all snorkeling equipment provided, it does not include fins , so bring your own fins. I think if they would acknowledge this prior to the excursion, it would be a lot better than letting you know at the last minute when you're on board.

Great intimate experience to explore 3 different reefs and top it off with fruit and civiche! They also take photos and will send them to your email for a price!

Perfect trip! But dont buy the ‘taxi-deal’ because that is a rip off…

We had an absolutely incredible time with Juan & Victor exploring the beautiful water in Cozumel!! They took us to several incredible spots where we got to experience some of the most beautiful water I have ever seen. The trip was made better with drinks and INCREDIBLE guac and ceviche they made on board and then served us in the water!! They were friendly, helpful, and so much fun and we all agreed this was a highlight of our trip!!

Highly recommend this excursion. Jose and Chema were very professional and friendly. Private boat excursion with me, my wife, adult daughter, and granddaughter(10). The meeting location is 10-20 minutes taxi ride from ship. Boat took us to 3 locations for great snorkeling. We saw an abundance of fish species, turtles, lobster, nurse sharks, barracuda, and star fish. They had plenty of cold beverages including beer. They prepared fresh ceviche and guacamole and fruit plate that was very delicious and satisfying! I would definitely do this again! They provided mask and snorkels, but no fins. Note: Sunscreen is not allowed at all during the excursion. Wear rash guards and hats.

Chema and Jose were exceptional! Amazing snorkeling. We saw sand sharks, sea turtles, lobster, barracuda, sting ray, an abundance of fish, and coral. They served us fresh made ceviche and guacamole. Plenty of water, soda, and beer. 3 hours of amazing, relaxing fun! Well worth it. They also take photos for additional cost, but well worth preserving the memories!

Highly recommend! We took our teenagers out for an snorkel adventure of a lifetime in Cozumel. Our captain and guide took us to a few snorkel places where we saw turtles, barracuda, sting rays, spotted rays, several species of fish, starfish, and lobsters. Every spot we went to was full of sea life. At our last spot they threw out the anchor near the shallow waters so we could jump off the boat in waist to chest high crystal blue water with a white sandy bottom to swim and float around while they prepared shrimp ceviche, guacamole, and fresh fruit along with drink refreshments. We were surrounded by sting rays that swam around us while we had an hour to eat, relax n the water, and enjoy the abundance of sting rays. By far one of the best snorkel excursions we’ve been on. The boat is located 10 min from the cruise port where it was extremely easy to take a taxi to San Francisco beach and then back again to the cruise port. Our captain was a great driver giving us a smooth boat ride. Our guide was friendly and knew exactly where to take us to see an abundance of marine life. We got to go at our own pace and had plenty of space on the boat. Definitely a must do in Cozumel!

A great tour with stops at three of the most important reefs and sandbars of Cozumel. Colombia Reef was beautiful with lots of fish. El cielo was truly a unique experience, and when the sun came out from behind the clouds the sea floor lit up. The sandbar with the stingrays gliding by was a great way to end the experience. Chema and el capitán were great guides and made sure the group was safe the entire time, even with some weak swimmers among the group.

Great experience with a lot of time in the water. Snacks were excellent and they helped the kids a lot!

Great multi-experience snorkeling: coral reef, starfish, turtles, rays. Wonderful, experienced guides, Juan and Oscar, gave us a great, safe trip for all levels of swimmers. Boat was smaller than expected and all of our extra clothes etc got a little damp (might be worth it to rent a locker at the beach club or take a waterproof bag). Not a lot of size options on the gear, so if you are anything other than average, you might want to bring your own or request in advance. Snacks were reserved for the last stop, and had we known, we may have preferred to stay longer at one of the first snorkeling spots and less time eating at the end. But all in all, a fabulous time!

Our captain Ruben and our guid Victor were AMAZING! Fun, accommodating, and great hospitality. They accommodated time adjustments with a last minute booking. We were able to start early to get back for a work meeting. Fabulous in water dining with fresh pineapple, fresh guacamole, fresh made on the boat ceviche, and chips. Super fun private experience. Plan to book with them the next time in Cozumel.

The captain and mate we're very nice and helpful. I'm really disappointed with there not being pictures. I was under the impression there was and am sure I asked at booking.

Love having a private snorkeling tour. It allows your group to set the pace of the tour (within reason). It also prevents running into other people while you are snorkeling. Guides were great! Ceviche and guac at the end.

Excellent snorkel group. You have to find your own ride to San Francisco beach, but everything was easy. They got us in the boat quickly, took us to three different areas, and made some amazing lunch for us. Great guides and got us back in a timely manner. Why book with anyone else?

Our trip was amazing and this was the cherry on top, they were very attentive and listened to what we wanted during our snorkling adventure, we had lunch with and got to swim with stingrays which was amazing. Our guides were knowledgeble about the area and where we could get the most out of our adventure. The showed up on time and made the most of the time available! In my opinion it was worth the money to have the private tour where they customized it to us, we saw some of the bigger snorkling tours stop and give a limited time, that impressed us even more that ours was more laid back and personable. I would 100 percent recommend this tour to anyone looking for a customized private experience.

Had a fun experience snorkeling and relaxing in the water. Oscar and Juanito where great hosts for the day. Oscar made sure we saw cool fish in the water.

What an absolute incredible experience with Juan and Victor our guides. Victor was in the water with us and pointed out sharks and puffers and a turtle we may have otherwise missed. Juan then made the most delicious fresh ceviche and guacamole which we ate while stingrays swam around us and through our legs. Highly recommend this trip!

My mom and I had a wonderful time. We were avoiding being stuck on a boat with a large group and this was perfect! Rueben and Victor were great. The reef was one of the best reefs we have snorkeled yet and got to see tons of fish, a lobster, and a shark! The guacamole and ceviche was so good, I’ll be thinking about it for life. Definitely recommend!

This was one of the best snorkeling trips ever. We are divers normally but wanted to see some of the more shallow sites. 3 diff err ent stops that were unbelievable!!

We had the best time on our trip. Victor and Reuben were great guides. My 10 year old was a little nervous starting out and Victor was so patient with him. We saw turtles, star fish, stingrays and numerous other fish. We loved relaxing on the sandbar and Reuben was quite the chef with his guacamole and ceviche. We would definitely bring our whole family back and do this trip again!

It was an amazing experience it was fantastic to see the different creatures in the different areas that I wouldn't see in my usual place

Do not book this excursion for beginner snorkelers. The guys handed us our masks and snorkels and told us to jump in. One person had never snorkeled before and had no idea what to do. They did not guide us or point out any interesting coral or marine life. We were trying to avoid the bigger boats but we would have had better guides on those.

We had a great time. The staff was very helpful. All equipment provided was of good quality. The boat size was perfect for a group of 7.

Had an absolutely fabulous time with Angel and Jesus. Snorkeling was pristine, food prepared by Angel and his music playlist were fabulous and Jesus took such incredible underwater photos of us, we ended up buying every one! Will definitely do the exact same thing next time in Cozumel

Absolutely amazing! We took a taxi from the cruise port, which was easy to find and was about a 10 minute drive. The boat was pulled up right to the beach, and with a boat driver and a snorkel guide. They took us to 3 different locations - first the Columbia Reef, where we saw lots of fish and other amazing wildlife (sea turtle, lobster, eagle ray, barracuda, reef shark, etc). Next we went to El Cielo, where we saw many of the biggest starfish we'd ever seen, and finally a shallow sandbar, where we played in the water with giant rays swimming around us while our guides prepared an amazing lunch for us to eat in the water! When we got back to the beach club, we had the option to hang out at the beach and/or pay extra more to play on the inflatable structures in the water, which the kids thought looked very fun! But we opted to head back to the ship via one of the taxis that was hanging out in the parking lot. This was a first snorkel experience for our kids, and every section of it was unique and special. This ended up being everyone's favorite stop on our cruise.

Amazing natural reef experience hosted by Captain Manuel and Alex. Private boat tour was top notch. Snorkel sites were incredible with amazing coral reefs, fish, turtles and stingrays. The food and beverages were delicious. Highly recommended!! Thank you Manuel and Alex for an incredible last day in Cozumel - we’ll be back!

Captain Ramon & Miguel were wonderful! They were excellent guides. The snorkeling spots were amazing! The water was so clear and we saw so many things! Beautiful coral, lots of colorful fish, barracuda, nurse sharks, turtles, an eel, starfish, and stingrays! The snacks were delicious. It was a great time. We highly recommend!

We went for a snorkel trip with Manuel and Alex. It was amazing and they were so patient with our 3 kids. The food was delicious and we even saw a sea turtle. Highly recommend!

This tour was one of the BEST excursions I have ever been on. The meet up location was easy to get to by cab from the cruise ship (about $25). Having our own private boat for my group of 4 was such a better way to experience the beauty of Cozumel vs being stuck on a catamaran with 100+ people. Our guide Niko and captain/chef Ramos were absolutely amazing! Very kind and well versed about the area and the best spots to check out in the water. The amount of different marine life we saw was incredible and Niko worked hard to make sure we saw all the unique things. Our last stop was at a sandbar where we saw more fish and a ton of stingrays that were friendly and so cool to see swimming by. We had ceviche, guacamole and fruit in the water with a couple beers to end the tour on a high note. There was not one negative thing about this tour and would highly recommend anyone visiting that likes to snorkel to take this tour.

Exactly what we had hoped for! Private boat with Roman (captain) & Alex his assistant. We are not real experienced snotkelers but they made it GREAT for us. Saw some really cool things at 3 different stops (fish, turtles, nurse shark, starfish galore. Our final stop was in a clear wading area - encountered several sting rays & pelican. Here they prepared fresh ceviche & guacamole & we had some cervezas. Overall the best day & experience that we could’ve asked for! I would book with Beach Break Cozumel again!

Alex did a great job explaining everything and pointing out the marine life we encountered. We made 3 separate stops where we saw lots of colorful fish, turtles, nurse sharks, sting rays, barracuda and lobsters. Our final stop at a sandbar we enjoyed drinks and delicious ceviche and guacamole and saw sting rays. Loved having just our group together a tour was amazing! Our captain was Jerry and Alex and the boat kokoi and they were so much fun and amazing! We didn’t want to leave the boat.

We had a fun family outing with Victor and Reuben as our guides. Visited multiple snorkeling spots and saw many fish and even a sea turtle. Finished the day at a shallow area and enjoyed some beer and soft drinks as well as a shrimp ceviche and guacamole that was absolutely delicious. We had 2 eight year olds that the crew was kind and patient with. Would do again and again. A highlight of our cruise week. Thank you!

Our excursion was fantastic! Our tour guides were phenomenal, friendly, knowledgeable, and fun! Saw so many fish, sea turtles, lobster, starfish, stingray, and more! Would absolutely do it again!

This was a great tour. 3 hour private snorkel tour with family, 2 adults + 3 teens (17-19). Very well organized. Tour guides rubin and Victor were great. Freshly made (on the boat while on our tour) shrimp ceviche and guacamole served with tortilla chips and fresh fruit was delicious. We came from playa del carmen. Ferry over and taxi to beach club was easy to navigate. Beach club itself seemed a little run down but we were just there for the tour. Highly recommend.

Alejandro and Manuel were excellent guides! They showed us some beautiful snorkeling spots and the ceviche they made for us was delicious!

The tour leaves from the San Francisco Beach Club. To get there we took a cab from the port which took about 10 mins and cost about $40. That was an unexpected cost. However, once we got there we checked in and met Manuel our boat captain and Alex our guide. Both were excellent and attentive. They took us to four stops and have us personal attention and extra time. On the boat they had plenty of beer, soda, and water that we could partake in. At the final stop the captain made some awesome ceviche and guacamole. It was delicious. Totally worth the extra money to have an experience with just my family. For 5 people the cost was actually comparable to the mega boatw cramining 20-30 people.
