Poor directions once arrived. Given armband and ignored. Once we walked the long distance to the beach because we were never informed of a tram, were told the vip area was closed. Had to find another employee to get access. Once in the vip area everything was fine.

We got the VIP Pass and it was a great experience. We only stayed in the private area and the service was excellent. Fernando, Carlos, and Andres were the best.
The experience was very nice. We did the VIP experience had a Cabana and our own private waiter. The drinks were good (strong) and the lunch was ok. The beach was clean and the water was stunning. I would book again. My only issue is since we were there for only a few hours (due to our needing to return to cruise ship) that I wish we could have spent more time there. I wasn’t sure if our VIP ticket included the water park but the private beach is a little ways from the park. Other than that it was great. We didn’t do the included activities but we did book a banana boat ride that was fun
This was our first time at Kuza and it was incredible!! The VIP experience was worth every penny. Our server Fernando was top notch!! He anticipated all our needs and provided an amazing experience for our family. The zip lining was so fun, highly recommend! And all the staff were wonderful. We will be back!!
Getting there from the Port is expensive - $35 taxi each way - no negotiating. Depending on your package, it's is all inclusive for food and drinks and towels. We purchased the VIP beach package. The beach was clean and there were plenty of umbrellas and casitas. The water is amazing but plan to bring beach shoes as it is rocky right at the shore. Service was great - plan to tip the server (mention ahead of time or start with a small tip to insure you get the fastest service. The server has to split his tip with the bartender and all others - so tip accordingly).
The facility is beautiful, the staff are nice, but it is too expensive. The waterpark should absolutely be included in the VIP package. We would never book an excursion like this outside of Disney due to the price and the hassle paying the taxi driver.
The food & drinks are terrible. The water park is okay. Zipline is ok. Palancar Beach is beautiful. Save money and go to Palancar Beach Club next door.
We visited Kuza during our MSC cruise stop in Cozumel, and unfortunately it ended up being one of the most disappointing excursions we’ve ever done. We spent well over $500 for our family, and by the time everything was said and done, we had less than four hours to actually enjoy the park. The first thing prospective cruise passengers should know is that Kuza is about a 25–30 minute drive from the cruise port. If your ship has an early all-aboard time (ours was 3:15 PM), your available time at the park is much shorter than you might expect once you factor in transportation and check-in. We purchased one of the highest-tier packages because we specifically wanted our kids to experience the zip lines. After arriving, we discovered there is a 99-pound minimum weight requirement. Two of our three children didn’t meet that requirement, making a major part of the package unusable for our family. We asked if we could receive a refund for that portion before we realized we also didn’t have closed-toe shoes (we did overlook that requirement ourselves, so that’s on us). Instead of simply explaining our options, we were asked to fill out a form describing the situation and then told to follow up through WhatsApp. It felt like requesting help was treated as an inconvenience. The park Wi-Fi barely worked during our visit. When we asked for assistance, we were simply directed back to the front entrance to deal with it. Even more disappointing, only two of the four water slides were operating the day we visited. Considering the admission price, having half of the major attractions unavailable was frustrating. The “unlimited food and drinks” included with our package was also misleading. Bottled water was not included. Drinks were served in plastic cups from the bar, and the 7UP we received tasted noticeably off. When we mentioned it, the response was essentially that if we wanted something better, we could purchase a canned soda for an additional $3. Food service was another letdown. Although there are multiple buffet and dining areas throughout the beach, only one location was open during our visit, and it happened to be at the opposite end of the property. That meant about a 10-minute walk each way just to grab lunch. The food itself wasn’t impressive either. We ordered chips and salsa and received a small dish with roughly ten chips and what was essentially pico de gallo rather than salsa. The constant attempts to sell us additional products and services throughout the day also became exhausting. It felt like every few minutes someone was trying to sell something else instead of simply letting families relax and enjoy their vacation. There were a couple of positives. The beach itself is beautiful, and we genuinely enjoyed renting a jet ski. However, even that experience left a bad taste because the advertised price was $99 for 30 minutes, but we were ultimately charged $130. For comparison, we rented a jet ski in Roatán for $70. Overall, Kuza simply did not deliver an experience that justified its price. Between the limited time available for cruise passengers, closed attractions, confusing package limitations, disappointing food, extra charges, poor Wi-Fi, and customer service that often felt indifferent, we left feeling like we had spent a lot of money for very little value. We won’t be returning. If we visit Cozumel again, we’ll skip Kuza and simply spend the day at one of the island’s beaches. We’ll likely have just as much fun, spend significantly less money, and avoid a lot of frustration.
I purchased admission based on the advertised water park attractions. When we arrived, the water slides were not operating. I spoke with a manager at the park and requested an explanation or refund, but they did not provide a satisfactory resolution. The services I paid for were not provided as advertised. I will not recommend this water park
We had a great time at Kuza! The whole family loved the zipline! The VIP experience is well worth the money!
Awesome park, very clean, good drinks, nice waiters, beautiful beach, fun waterpark, this place was the best I have been to in Cozumel hands down! Will come back
My son and I had an incredible day at Kuza. My 10‑year‑old son and I enjoyed nearly every part of the experience, from the waterpark and slides to the zip line and the beautiful, clean beach. The staff were consistently kind and welcoming, which made the whole visit feel even better. My son had an absolute blast, especially on the slides and kayaks, and the zip line added a fun bit of adventure for both of us. The only area I’d improve is the food included in the all‑inclusive package, but the strength of the drinks definitely helped balance that out. Overall, Kuza was the best excursion while on our 7-day cruise and we’ll absolutely be back the next time we’re in Cozumel.
Beautiful beach, water park area great for families and young kids! Staff very friendly.
Kuza was an amazing experience for our family. We arrived and made our way to the water park where we had our family base. The water at the pool gets a bad wrap for color but it's only because they didn't paint the pool the right color.. water was great both in the big pool and lazy river. We made our way to the beach mid-day and I've never seen water that color of blue, it was gorgeous. Drinks were good we enjoyed the mango drinks. Food was okay.. staff were very nice especially our server that ran all day to bring us drinks at the pool. We didn't get to the aip line but as a heads up it requires closed toes shoes.
We spent the day at KUZA Beach Adventure Park during our cruise stop in Cozumel, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. This is an easy 5-star experience. The beach itself was absolutely beautiful. The sand was soft and pristine, the water was gorgeous, and there were plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas available. Even with other guests enjoying the resort, we never felt crowded or cramped and always had space to relax. Our group included kids ranging in age from 11 to 17, and they loved the included water activities. Unfortunately, it was too windy during our visit for paddleboarding, but there were still plenty of ways to enjoy the water and stay entertained throughout the day. The food exceeded our expectations. Between the buffet and the food trucks, there was a great variety of options, and everything we tried was delicious. The drinks were equally impressive, with plenty of choices and excellent quality. What truly made the day special, however, was the staff. Everyone we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and focused on making sure guests had a great experience. A special shoutout goes to Anthony, who quickly became our favorite server. He was attentive without ever being intrusive and constantly made sure our drinks stayed full. More than once, we returned from a swim to find fresh refills waiting for us. He checked on us regularly, kept us laughing, and genuinely seemed to enjoy making guests feel welcome. We also want to recognize our guide, Denisse. From the moment we left the cruise port, she kept us informed, entertained us with stories about the island, and shared local history and information that helped us learn more about Cozumel. The drive to and from the resort felt like a bonus mini-tour. From the beautiful beach and great food to the outstanding staff and service, KUZA delivered a fantastic experience from start to finish. We would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cozumel.
Our family with 2 teen boys and a 9 year old had the best day here. We did all activities: the Razor/UTV ride, zip lining, water park, and beach. We enjoyed our day very much/ all staff were super helpful and kind. We visited the buffet several times and enjoyed the food options. We would visit again!
This was a very nice experience, we got the all inclusive VIP getting our own cabana was lots of fun, we did snorkeling, had all food and water handed to us and you are waited on hand and foot. It was absolutely wonderful.!
I typically take reviews “with a grain of salt” you pretty much have to however I wish I had not with the Kuza Beach Park VIP excursion in Cozumel offered by Royal Caribbean. We purchased the VIP all inclusive excursion. I have to say, at the pier the tour guide said something had come in overnight and the water was a little brown. We went anyway ( big mistake). The water was disgusting, but that’s Mother Nature not the park’s fault. It is a long walk in the heat from the bus to the beach. The water park was not included in the “all inclusive”. The food was so bad we could not eat it in the buffet restaurant. We tried the food that was on the beach for all inclusive guests, also inedible. Hot dog was raw with partially raw bacon wrapped around it. Drinks have very little alcohol if any. Transportation back to main entrance never showed up. Worst excursion we have ever experienced.
I booked KUZÁ for myself, my husband, and my two young sons. When we arrived, we noticed immediately that the kids splash area was under construction. Understandable, but we were disappointed that this was advertised as an option when we booked just days before. My son is not tall enough for the large slides so this limited what we could do. We sat by the pool for a few hours and our waiter was very attentive, which was great. We stuck mostly with beer as the cocktails were not good. The snacks by the pool were okay at best. Our son did have a great time just swimming in the pool, but we booked the VIP package, so we headed to the beach. There were not enough trams running to manage the volume of guests. We ended up walking to the beach and were disappointed to find that there was another walk to the end of the beach for the so called VIP area. We booked VIP for access to a cabana, which we were immediately told was not available that day. We expressed our frustration as we only booked VIP for this reason, as we wanted a shaded bed for our infant son. VIP is also advertised as having a personal waiter, but there was literally one waiter helping everyone in our section. We had more attentive service by the pool. Food at the VIP buffet was mediocre at best. There was a ton of seaweed at the beach. Ended up leaving because it was taking so long to get drinks and we were upset about the lack of shade for our baby. Overall we were very disappointed. I think this facility has potential to be great, but we were sold an exclusive experience that simply does not exist here. For nearly $300, I expected more and would recommend not wasting your money. Should have gone with one of the more established beach clubs.
I booked this excursion through Viator, the first booking was cancelled-by tour operator, I rebooked, morning of the date I scheduled to go I received another notice that it had been cancelled by tour operator. I contacted Viator-they said nothing could be done-Then-I was charged anyway. Now have to dispute charge w/ Chase. Others on the cruise I was on had same problem w/ Viator-cancelling tours on the same day the were scheduled to go-don't believe I would trust this company to book excursions anymore
We did rent the razor after and it was fun, but not worth the 200 dollars. We also prefer not being so far from the beach to the pool! We had to rent lockers again once we changed spots from the beach to the pool! 6 bucks for each locker. We also weren’t impressed with the food section that was included! Not a huge selection! We also prefer having our own waiter and not having to go hunt for everything. Everything was so far away from everything. It wasn’t for us.
The beach is beautiful, and the VIP area is well worth the additional cost. The food served to us on the beach was excellent, and the bar service was very attentive; we never had to request a refill. We thoroughly enjoyed the expansive lagoon pool at the Waterpark, which was a fabulous experience. Our bartender, Gabriel, provided exceptional service and is highly recommended. The complimentary food offerings at the pool were delicious; we particularly recommend the barbacoa tacos and tres leches cake. Overall, it was a truly great experience, and we anticipate returning.
Grande gracias to Carlos and Gilberto for treating us like "la familia" during our day. We had an amazing time and will recommend to anyone coming to Cozumel!
There are some good, but mostly bad things to point out. I’ll start with the bad: the cost via Norwegian for this “VIP” experience was roughly $170 per person. This was for a “5 hr” allotment. In reality, you only got about 3.5 hrs of actual beach/activity time and of that, food and alcohol were not served until later in the morning (maybe it would have been better to choose a later arrival.) The “VIP” part of the beach was separated by the general admission area via a piece of rope. The beach itself was filled with seaweed and the water was even worse. Looks like no one really took the time to at least clean up some of the seaweed off the beach. Especially for the “VIP” area. The workers were constantly coming around asking if you wanted massages or hentai tattoos. The VIP area had its own buffet which was nice, but it was much smaller and didn’t have the number of options that the larger seated buffet area had. The “VIP” area had cabanas but they filled up immediately. They didn’t have drapes or anything. Just a piece of fabric over the top and the sun really beat down on you. Overall, the area wasn’t great. For this to be a newer attraction, it was lacking big time. Now for the good things: the service was great. Our bartender, Andreas, was great. He would literally send two drinks at a time. I would doze off in my chair and wake up to a fresh drink without even having to ask. The food itself wasn’t bad. It was certainly better than the average cruise island experience which is the disgustingly dry hamburgers and hotdogs. There was fresh guacamole, fruit, chicken cordon bleu, steak fajitas, these fried potato chips, and the lady at the grill was making what I believe were fresh pork (or beef) tacos. Bottom line, this is not worth it for the time you are given via a cruise port day. Maybe if you’re staying on Cozumel for a few days/week on vacation and you book differently. Maybe utilize the area’s full hours of operations and not the nonsense few hrs we had.
Well, everything was fantastic. The water was perfect. The staff was impeccable on time was therefore approximately 6 1/2 to 7 hours and everything was . Until myself and my friend that was traveling with me, decided it was time to go, which was approximately the same time as a tour bus ride a ship in the port so there was approximately 35 people waiting for to return bus from the VIP section to the bus taxi drop off point, he waited we waited approximately 20 to 25 minutes with one small handicap transportation vehicle about every 5 to 10 minutes. Everybody else was just standing. Then the attendant that was with us said let’s walk I don’t know how far you think that is but it’s probably approximately 1 mile with kids strollers, elderly people myself on a fairly even surface. Complained about this the fact that I had purchased the VIP section$130+ dollars after a full day of snacks and drinks for this I was told that I had to walk. Cause they didn’t have enough transportation to cover everybody at that time and we would walk to the next pick up station so we started walking. Now that little trolley handicap did show up about maybe less than a mile actually down the road and picked up a couple of us handicap people all they said when they picked us up was we’re sorry. We just don’t have an extra transportation soif you get this, just be aware of it, it might be a little bit of a walk. They really should provide more troll access more possible need for handicap. The little disclaimer about “ may include some walking doesn’t quite cover that” for the $price. After the trolley arrived, they just said sorry we have no more trolleys. I would hope that in the future they add more charges seem like they have one handicap and one regular with an attached trolley section
Water and sand were clean. Service was decent. Food was awful and cold. Drinks were gross. Would not prob go back. Paid too much for the worth
We had a great time at the zipline with Ryan and Giovanni being really helpful. However, the absolute hands down best time was the time we spent at the swim up bar in the waterpark with Oscar, Elmer, Gabriel and many others there making our day, with the BEST service ever!! They went overboard to make our day the best day ever and we will forsure be back to see them all. We've gone to multiple other beaches there and this one was the best yet. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!
Visited while on a cruise, the complete operation is first class, from the transportation up to and including the beach service. All staff were exceptional, friendly, helpful polite. The beach and all seating very nice, comfortable, all very clean. The included food offerings were good and fitting for a beach environment. I was very impressed with the fact all staff are in uniforms, very clean. Alfredo our guide is exceptional at his job, customer service excellent, representing the company very well.
KUZÁ beaches and water park is great. Our boys really enjoyed both attractions. Pros Servers were very nice and efficient Great drinks Opportunities Need more life guards - they had a few but were not actively watching the water or kids Food quality was just ok - VIP area I expected something better than grilled burgers
Everything was outstanding! Music was great. Food was good. The beach was clean and such a view. All of the crew were helpful and respectful. Will definitely be going back!
This was a fabulous trip, the beach was stunning. The employees were extremely attentative I felt like a celebrity, drinks were endless sometimes weak but they added more liquor when requested, food was delicious, the private shuttle ride right to my beautiful cabana greated with champagne & the seat of your choice, even the bathroom attendant kept things neat & tidy all day, the tequila taste testing was awesome, jet skies & so many other activities to do, water park looked awesome, I didnt bother to go to that section as I stayed in the VIP section more my jam no kids & luxury service.
Visited Kuza on the "Ultimate" package in early April as part of a 5 hour cruise shore excursion. Very mixed experience. On the positive: we had an opportunity to do the zip lines (3 of 4 sections were operational) and the staff working this area were all wonderful. High attention to safety and guest comfort. 3 of the 4 waterslides were operational and the kids enjoyed them. Unfortunately it's all very much negative thereafter. The beach is decent but they advertise no seaweed, and clearly they put effort in cleaning it up, but there's absolutely seaweed. It began to rain mid-day, which is understandable and outside the park's control, but there's zero infrastructure to support guests during inclement weather. Everyone crowded into the lunch hut. We figured we'd eat lunch but there were no tables. We considered just eating while standing but there was rain water dripping from the roof onto the food bars which represented a sanitary issue. We then tried to relocate to the pool to eat at the snack bar. The entire tram area was flooded out from poor design/drainage. At the snack bar we tried to order off the "inclusive" menu, but the staff told us they'd only sell us food and told us to either pay or go back to the buffet. My wife then tried to get a drink at the bar and there was a very limited menu for included drinks. Definitely not a full open bar that's implied at ticket purchase. At this point the park was flooded, the pool was over flowing and the water turned very murky. We were all hungry and soaked from the rain so we purchased a taxi back to the ship. So for roughly $600 for a family of 4 we received zip lining. Nothing else. In no way to I hold Kuza accountable for the weather, but things within their control - like food and beverage service - were not delivered. If you're considering Kuza do not visit if there's a chance of inclement weather.
This was a fantastic excursion on our cruise. SO relaxing! We enjoyed great food and beverages, and the VIP tickets were a great purchase. I recommend getting there early for prime seating.
VIP attendant Rene was outstanding and welcoming. Had great weather and no seaweed on the beautiful stretch of beach. Having a dedicated BBQ station in VIP section was a plus because they wouldn’t allow you to take food back to your seat in regular buffet area. Renting a Jet ski for half a hour was very fun.
Beach at Kuza is good with shallow waters. However, the VIP Pass is not worth it at all. VIP service was sub par and left much to be desired. Website description for VIP looks good on paper only. You are better off with the regular pass, less money for the same level of service with less disappointment.
Paid for the "VIP" pass which was supposed to include concierge service and a special beach. There was nothing special about it and I feel like I paid an inflated price for no more than the regular gests were receiving, just in a slightly different spot on the beach. In fact, my friends who did not get VIP passes had a better food/drink selection and nicer bathroom facilities. Overpaid for a sub-par massage. The staff was not accommodating or even friendly even after being tipped in advance -- I was not catered to whatsoever and had to fetch my own food and drinks, which is not the VIP experience I paid for! I brought my own snorkeling gear for their advertised "amazing snorkeling experience" -- NOTHING amazing about it! Shallow water, no fish or other interesting sea life to observe or photograph, so let down by this aspect. AND, the excursion was for a (very short) limited time period for which you have to provide your own transportation to and from the port. I was so disappointed and will not be returning. DO NOT RECOMMEND! There are so many other choices on that same side of the island.
Great service, food, and massages!
Great experience, very relaxing. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Got a massage on the beach, very relaxing. Transportation was air conditioned and got us there quickly. Bus was waiting for our return. Will definitely go again, and take my wife.
We booked this in August2025. The entire park was to be opened in December 2025. We were never contact to let us know it would not be open upon our arrival . Money wasted . Beach area pretty and food was fine . They have a long way to go with organization and communication. Waste of time and $$$. Hoping they get things worked out for future customers. We frequent the area often but will not return to KUZA as they had basically no customer service . They came across as if it didn’t matter as they will have plenty of tourist in the future.
We love KUZÁ! My husband and I got the VIP package with the Mexican Flavors experience. Maria and Yazmin from the Mexican Flavors were wonderful! The best part of KUZA was the VIP sections (totally worth it) It’s all the luxury of an all inclusive beach resort, but only for a day. Guillermo and Jose were our beach servers, and they were AMAZING!!! We will come back just to see them! Great drinks, great food, great experience over all!
Such a great spot on the beach. Well worth it the money. Staff was friendly and provided great service.
If you’re truly seeking VIP treatment you will find this experience lacking and very disappointing. Our attendants were not friendly and the food was okay and nothing was brought to you other than terrible drinks. You do not have snacks brought to you or any food for that matter. The park is not fully open so you’re paying for a day bed and swimming. We could have had a better day at our condo. Terrible experience!
The VIP experience is a bait and switch con. We were supposed to get a cabana but got lounge chairs. Don’t do it! Waste of $300.
The staff are friendly, and very attentive. The VIP is definitely worth it. The cabanas are cozy, the the massage salon is a great deal. The food and drinks are delicious and they just coming.
Just got back from this all inclusive day. Paid for the VIP experience ($149 each). Started off really good. Food was great. Manuel was nice and brought drinks all day. Paid extra for a guaranteed Bali bed. When we arrived at the VIP area, they acted like they had no idea about it, probably because we didn’t need to pay the $200 because there were plenty to choose from. (They are a first come first served). However, at the end of the day the shuttle didn’t pick us up we had to walk. Had to ask three times and after 25 min waiting they said the shuttle would be 10-15 min longer because they were picking up the people at the main beach. at that point I didn't feel like the VIP experience or that they cared. I was hoping for a better experience for the 4 of us. The cost was overall expensive for the experience based on the other two all inclusive we have visited the past 2 years in Cozumel.
We booked this through the cruise ship we were on and were excited to zip line and use the water park that were advertised in the description. We got there only to find out that the zip line and water park are being built and are months from being open. So we spent close to $1000 for our whole group to hang out on a beach, which we could do for free at home in Florida. So double check if you book this. The night before the excursion we got a piece of paper attached to our tickets letting us know the water park and zip line weren't open, but it was too late to cancel without still paying full price (we didn't notice it until after we had already arrived at the location, but we still wouldn't have been able to cancel for a refund even if we had). That being said, food and drinks were good. Service was excellent. And it's a very pretty beach.
Beautiful views, delicious chef prepared food, amazing drinks and the massages were top notch. Wish we had more time there!
🌴 Overall vibe KUZÁ Cozumel is the island’s newer, trend-forward beach club that’s all about creating that “VIP but make it accessible” feeling. Think: boho loungers, strong drinks, turquoise water, and a curated mellow soundtrack. It’s giving Cozumel’s attempt at Tulum energy, minus the pretension. If you want a step up from the packed, rowdy beach clubs but don’t need a butler—this is that sweet spot. ✔️ What People Generally Love ✨ Atmosphere is stunning Light woods, woven accents, palm umbrellas—whoever designed it said “this is going on Instagram and I know my worth.” ✨ Quiet, laid-back luxury It’s calmer than Nachi Cocom, less chaotic than Mr. Sanchos, and more polished than Paradise Beach. Not empty—just a civilized level of humans. ✨ Great service Servers are attentive, drinks come quickly, and they keep checking without being annoying. (It’s Cozumel… service isn’t always like this elsewhere.) ✨ Food is surprisingly good Fresh guac, solid tacos, and decent portions. Also: cocktails taste like cocktails, not melted popsicles. ✨ Clean bathrooms + modern facilities A very unsexy detail, but deeply important. They keep the place tidy. ⚠️ A Few Things to Know (aka: Don’t say I didn’t warn you) ⚠️ The beach itself is more “rocky shoreline + clear water” than powdery sand. Totally normal for parts of Cozumel, but if you’re imagining soft Riviera Maya sand… nope. The loungers and boardwalk areas are where you’ll hang out most. ⚠️ The VIP label is… aspirational. It’s elevated, yes. Luxury? Not quite. More like “nice boutique beach day.” ⚠️ It can feel cruise-passenger curated. Not in a bad way—just know it’s designed for the 6-hour vacation crowd. ⚠️ Pricey compared to older Cozumel beach clubs. But you’re paying for vibe + peace + design. Not the tequila-shot Olympics. 🎯 Who Will Love KUZÁ Cozumel Couples who want quiet + bougie-ish without full luxury prices Families and couples wanting low-key water sports- kayaking and paddleboards Travelers who appreciate aesthetic + good food People who want to relax, not be blasted by a DJ yelling “YOLO!” Anyone over the age of “I will absolutely do body shots at noon” 🤷♀️ Who Won’t Families wanting big water inflatables, loud party vibes, crazy contests People who want unlimited drinks for cheap Travelers expecting fine-dining luxury Hardcore snorkelers (the water is clear but not a major reef zone) 🏁 Final Verdict 9/10 — A beautifully designed, relaxing, modern beach club. Great service, great atmosphere, great drinks. Not the cheapest, but you’re paying to avoid chaos, which in Cozumel is… priceless
Incredible experience. Great tour guide Alfredo. Beach was pristine and the service was amazing. The food was excellent.
Loved this experience! Will definitely come back. I've been into Cozumel many times, but this is my favorite excursion and paying for the VIP was well worth it!
