Taxi ride is $30 one way!!! Once the shock of the cab fare had passed, Park was clean and enjoyable. Water was beautiful, inviting and perfect temperature. The staff was very friendly. The drinks were good, and so was the food.

Kuza In October is great. Water is warm and clear. Staff at the beach are great, especially Jorge. Don't forget to try the Tequila tasting. Nice relaxing day at the beach!
Unfortunately, this establishment did not live up to the expectations created by its advertising. It was presented as an all-inclusive experience, but in reality, numerous additional charges applied to amenities that should have been clearly disclosed upfront. The property was also significantly more crowded and less spacious than expected, which detracted from the overall experience. The included beverage options were very limited, consisting primarily of basic margaritas and a few other simple drinks. Most concerning was the lack of transparency regarding access to the activities on the property. The advertising gave the impression that guests could enjoy the available activities as part of their package, yet upon arrival, we were informed that access to the water park required an additional $30 per person. This is the type of information that should be communicated clearly before guests make a booking. Additionally, the beach was very rocky, making it uncomfortable to walk into the water without proper footwear. If you plan to swim, I strongly recommend bringing water shoes. Overall, I found the experience disappointing and believe the pricing, included amenities, and activity access should be represented more accurately. I would not recommend this establishment without advising others to carefully review what is actually included in the package. If you choose to visit, be prepared for additional expenses beyond the advertised price, and bring water shoes if you plan to get in the ocean. Greater transparency and better communication would go a long way toward improving the guest experience
It was rainy and I worried that would mar our experience, but we found chairs on the beach with umbrellas and trees to shelter us, and we had a great few hours relaxing and watching the water. Our host, Jose, was very attentive and made sure we had drinks when we wanted them. The food on the buffet was very good. The temperature was perfect, ¹and the sun eventually made an appearance. We enjoyed our day and would definitely go back again.
KUZÁ was the best beach experience we have had by far! We got the package that included the open bar and the buffet. Pedro kept our drinks flowing. Even when we were in the water, he kept coming to check on us. The service was too tier. The buffet was also great and right near the beach. The beach, restaurant, restroom, and changing area were really clean and there were plenty of chairs available at the beach. We will be booking Kuza again the next time we are in Cozumel!
We had a great time. Lots of seating and it was not overcrowded. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was decent although some of it was not included. The drinks were good and not just watered down like at many places. Our 7 year old LOVED the water slides. We stayed all day and there were plenty of taxi's to take us back to our cruise port. We will definitely visit again next time.
The beach club is new so all their equipment is well maintained with no broken chairs, umbrellas. The places quite large and a tram is necessary to get around. They have three types of beaches. We stopped at the first beach, adults only. You could walk along the beach for miles since it's and protected park area. Food was included, but I did not eat. Drinks were very good. We have been too many places in Cozumel, but this was by far the cleanest and well-being entertained. There is also a waterpark which I did not use. Service was excellent. There was a very clean area in the water which was a sandbar. You did have to walk through some seaweed, but the beach was as well maintained as possible. would definitely return in the future.
We booked directly through the website which advertised free transportation to and from the Plaza Del Sol. When we met the tour guide, he informed us that he did not have our names on his list. Thankfully, I had screenshot our confirmation. He also informed us that we would not have a ride back and that it would be our responsibility to get back. We were supposed to have the tour from 10:30 - 4:30. It ended up being closer to 11:30 - 3 due to the bus leaving the terminal late and us having to find any bus that would take us back. After getting differing information from a few other staff members, I ended up just having to bribe one of the guides to give us a ride back on a bus with plenty of room. The bus riders were all of people headed back to our cruise ship.
The resort only had one person to check you in stood in line for 30 minutes. The drinks was watered down. The food was cold.
The beach was clean and the water was so clear. The food and drinks were good. We will go again. Cost of taxi $35 for up to 4
I was double charged. I paid for an all-inclusive VIP experience, only to get home to find I was charged an additional $120, with no note as to what the charge was for! That aside… All staff were very hospitable and attentive. The drinks were good (not great) the food was good (not great). Family friendly. Nice music was piped in.
The Kuza park is beautiful. I especially appreciated the adults only beach which offered ocean access with fewer crowds. The park was very clean, and the staff were kind and helpful. The all-inclusive food/drinks were a highlight of the trip!
Nice beach with plenty of seating and shaded options. Jesus was an awesome server, friendly and knowledgeable. Food was closed at the adult end so we had to walk to the other side to eat, food was not good, even for a buffet it was pretty bad. Things like pizza or fries were an extra charge.
We went to experience the Lazy River. When we arrived there was a large printed sign indicating that the lazy River was closed for maintenance. The rep said it would be closed for a week. We requested a refund. We will see if we get it. Why couldn’t they announce this on their website? We could’ve saved $70 in taxi fares.
The beach was pretty and clean with plenty of lounge, chairs and umbrellas. Getting into the water on the beach was difficult because of extremely soft sand and a drop off as soon as you step in. A surf was created by a riptide that may getting in and out and swimming dangerous. The riptide would pull you out further from the shore very quickly and very difficult to swim or walk back to the shore. Many people had to be helped in and out of the water due to being unable to fight the riptide. plenty of lifeguards available for a good reason. Very unsafe for children. The Mexican buffet was very limited and had to pay extra for guacamole. It was expensive and not worth it. There are better beaches in Cozumel.
Beautiful facility. We did the beach all inclusive experience, did not do the waterpark. It is very clean and they have a trolly to take you to the beach from reception. The beach was beautiful, with chairs just steps from the water. They did a great job of keeping it seaweed free. The “adult” section was right beside the kid section, so the kid screeching was very loud and it definitely did not seem like you were in an adult area. There is no pool included in the beach package. No Coke products, only Pepsi. Limited drink options. No Bloody Marys. Michelada was delicious. Extra $12 charge for a float. Our server had so many customers it took a bit to get drinks. We made a last minute decision to go on the snorkeling excursion there, and when we got back he’d given our chairs to someone else. RUDE. It’s farther than other resorts. Taxi was $35 each way. The included food is served in an open air restaurant, and they would not let you take food to your chairs, you had to sit in there to eat. While it was a beautiful facility, I would not return.
This was the best beach day we had. The beach was nice & not overcrowded. The place was clean. They had good food options & drink options. Loved this stop. My only complaint has nothing to do with the excursion itself. Just be Leery of the taxis. We agreed on $35 which was high. I was then charged $40. The taxi driver argued with me that Cozumel pesos are higher lol I let the extra $5 go but it was annoying
While this was a tour offered by our cruise ship, I didn't want to be bothered with the tour excursion package so I booked directly with the vendor. The cost for doing so was cheaper than the excursion. The beach was easy to get to and well maintained. Seating was comfortable and accessible. The food was OK. The eating venue's seating was under a covered structure. The temps were in the upper 90's so it was HOT even in the shade. The staff was very friendly and Daniel was an awesome server and kept us well hydrated with lots of margaritas.
Great experience. We purchased the full experience, so food and open bar was included. Food available as desired. Drinks available as desired. Our bar server William was always on top of things and did an excellent job. We went to the beach but didn't stay because there was a terrible odor of dead animals everywhere we went, so we spent most of our time at the water park. Water didn't seem to be as clear as we thought it would be in the water park, but was sufficient for cooing off on a very hot and humiod day. We scheduled a taxi on line ahead of time to take us there from the port and stay with us and bring us back (expensive!) Grandchild had a wonderful day. Just a little too hot for us older ones to enjoy comfortably. But facilities are well worth the trip and money. We would definitely consider going again in the future.
Went to Kuza beach for the day while on a cruise. $316 for 4 people. Included food and drinks, alcohol. Beach was beautiful, landscaping was beautiful, ocean water was clear and refreshing. Food was plentiful but bland, drinks were only ok. Staff very friendly. Cab ride back to Port was $30
Kuza is a very nice place. They have really invested a lot if money into the park and resort I loved!
Best day ever! All inclusive. Servers were excellent!
A fun, laid-back beach day with family and friends! We enjoyed the beautiful beach, delicious food, and maybe a few too many unlimited drinks. Our server took amazing care of us and made sure our glasses were never empty. The crystal-clear blue water was the perfect place to relax, soak up the sunshine, and enjoy every minute together.
We got SCAMMED - they double charged us - we can't get them on the phone or by eMail - had to file with credit card company. Go to Mr Sanchos or Paradise Beach - the food and pools are way better !!!!
Wonderful experience. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The beach was crystal clear with plentiful of seating.
We booked KUZÁ Water Park because it was advertised as a family-friendly destination. Although it was one of the most expensive excursions we booked during our cruise, we chose it because we wanted our entire family—including our autistic son—to have a fun and memorable experience. Our son is autistic. Like many individuals on the autism spectrum, he struggles with long waits, extreme heat, and sensory overload. We anticipated this and came prepared with portable fans, snacks, drinks, and everything we could to help him stay regulated. Despite our best efforts, the prolonged wait under the hot sun became too much for him. He cried, became distressed, and had a meltdown. It is important to understand that our son was never aggressive. He was not hurting anyone, threatening anyone, or putting anyone in danger. He was simply overwhelmed. Instead of asking how they could help or showing compassion, one of the KUZÁ guides approached us and said, “Not to offend you, but can he ride the bus considering we have more than 20 people inside and I will be speaking through the microphone?” What stood out to me was that the guide seemed more concerned about being able to speak on the microphone without interruption than about the fact that a child with a disability was visibly overwhelmed and struggling in the heat. I explained that yes, our son could ride the bus and that he was simply having a difficult time because of the heat and the long wait. After we continued waiting outside in the heat, another KUZÁ guide spoke with our cruise excursion representative, who then came to ask us essentially the same question a second time. At that point, it felt like they were trying to determine whether our family should be removed from the excursion because of our son’s disability. As a parent, that was heartbreaking. I explained that our son is autistic and that sensory overload is a real part of his disability. Waiting for an extended period in extreme heat would be difficult for many children, but for children with autism, it can quickly become overwhelming. The cruise excursion representative listened with empathy, understood the situation, and treated us with respect. Unfortunately, we did not receive that same compassion from the KUZÁ staff. There was no apology, no reassurance, and no attempt to understand or accommodate a child with a disability. Being family-friendly means more than offering activities for children. It means welcoming all families, including those with children who have disabilities. It means training staff to recognize that autism looks different in every individual and responding with patience, empathy, and understanding—not making families feel like they are an inconvenience or a liability. No family should ever feel that they might be removed from an excursion because their child has a disability. Our son deserves the same opportunity to enjoy a family vacation as every other child. He cannot simply “turn off” his autism, and he should never be made to feel unwelcome because he became overwhelmed. I sincerely hope KUZÁ takes this feedback seriously and provides disability awareness and autism sensitivity training for all staff. A little understanding and compassion could make an enormous difference for families like ours.
This was the most disappointing beach I have ever visited. We purchased the all‑inclusive Beach Day Premium Pass. When we arrived, we were told to wait for a trolley that would pick us up in a few minutes. It didn’t arrive for about 15 minutes. We were dropped off near a restroom and a pavilion where food was only served to specialty groups—not to the general guests. One person in our party had a severely sprained ankle, yet we were told that if we wanted food, we would have to walk down the beach. It wasn’t a short walk; it was a long walk. When we finally made it, we found chairs, but the surf was so rough that no one was in the water. Our pass included one activity, but staff said the surf was too rough and refused to honor any of them, including paddleboards and kayaks. I asked another employee if I could rent a kayak, and he offered one for $30. So I could rent one, but not use the one included in my package? I also asked about sand toys—another $30. Everything seemed to cost $30 on top of the admission. We felt uncomfortable with how many times the massage staff approached us, even after we repeatedly said “no thank you.” The food was terrible. Flies were buzzing all over it. I had seen YouTubers’ experiences at this beach, and what they were served was nothing like what we got. The food was bland and boring; most of us only ate chips. The drink staff was nice, but they kept reminding us that only a small section of drinks was included. The drinks themselves were awful. The alcohol drinkers in our group said they were watered down and tasted terrible. One beer drinker had twelve beers—he normally feels a buzz after five—and felt nothing. I don’t drink alcohol due to allergies. At one point, a staff member brought me a “non‑alcoholic” drink that actually contained alcohol. I sent it back. I watched him speak to the bartender, and they simply set the drink aside, then picked up and brought the same one back a few minutes later. Because of my allergy, even a tiny amount of alcohol causes my throat to burn and my stomach to feel nauseated. At that point, I had had enough, and we headed to the tram pickup to leave. When we arrived, about twenty people were already waiting. One man asked an employee if the tram was actually on the way. The employee said yes. The man explained he was going to be late returning to his ship because he had already been waiting thirty minutes. The employee rudely told him, “Well, if you don’t like it, you can walk.” A tram eventually arrived, but we were told it was for employees only. We waited longer… finally three trams arrived at once. Why weren’t they spaced out? Overall, this was a frustrating, uncomfortable, and disappointing experience from start to finish.
Highly recommend Kuza beach. We got a taxi round trip from the Cruise terminal. They wait for you till you exit. The beach was beautiful , the good and the service excellent. Plenty of chairs and space. The water park is not included but you may added there if you like.$29 per person ar that time.
If you are looking for a beach that comes with food, drinks and an adults only section while you are in Cozumel for a day, Kuza is your place! Cruise excursions are so overpriced so I always find them on my own. Just leave early so you have plenty of time to return to your ship. We got a taxi at the port and the driver stayed there with us until we were ready to head back.
GOOD: What a beautiful resort. When you arrive the first thing you notice is amount of lounge chairs and palm trees. No problem finding a shady spot. The beach is long and the water is beautiful. BAD: MUSIC: The music is throughout the resort and it’s not too bad but you can’t get way from it unless you pay extra for VIP, which btw doesn’t have nearly as much shade or palm trees. The DJ had the music so loud that you couldn’t get away from it even when you’re in the ocean. The music area has the better access to the beach, close to the bar and buffet area. Just don’t expect to be able to have a conversation or be able to relax without having to pay extra for VIP. SERVICE: Even though you are directed to the bar, don’t get your drinks yourself or you will get a very rude server. Apparently they don’t like it when you get your own drinks and they will let you know it. The resort was not busy at all so I expected to see our server more often but that was not the case. If you want better friendly service, food delivered etc, purchase the VIP for an extra $99 per person. UGLY: DRINKS: The few choices of mixed drinks are watered down and you had one beer of choice. What if you don’t like the beer or limited choices of mixed drinks? Upgrade for an extra $99 per person for VIP. See where this is going? FOOD: Hands down the worst buffet I have ever been to. I didn’t expect top notch food, it is a buffet, but omg the food was horrible. The chicken was so hard I couldn’t even cut into it, the rice pudding was more like rice soup, the cheese quesadillas were cold, the cheese for topping was runny, like they added water to it to extend it. The chips were good. CONCLUSION: Why was everything so bad? Was it because it was a slow day or is this just standard to push you into purchasing the VIP? I did notice that several VIP’s moved to our area and I’m assuming it’s due to the lack of shade in the VIP area. Don’t waste your vacation day and money. Go to a resort where you can have better food, more choices in beer and non watered down drinks and friendly service for the same base price.
An abominable tourist trap! Food was awful. Drinks were a mix of artificial colors and flavors. Guards with whistles telling you to not do anything fun. Avoid at all cost!
Arrive early before the cruise excursion group. Quiet beach at one end. Alcoholic drinks very watery. Limited food choices on buffet as they wanted you to order extra items from the menu. While we enjoyed the beach, would not go there again.
I had a great experience overall. Waiters will bring you drinks 🍹. You will need to go get your food at the restaurant. The buffet was excellent, with lots of food choices and something for everyone. The beach was clean and well maintained. The water near the shoreline wasn’t very clear, but if you swim a little farther out, the water becomes much clearer and more enjoyable. They also have a water park and a nice swimming pool available for an additional fee, which adds even more fun options for families and visitors looking for extra activities. Taxi 🚕 will take you there for $35 up to 4 people.
The beach, buffet and drinks are included. The water park is NOT. The beach has shade and is beautiful and clean!
We had a great time at the beach. We were disappointed the water wasn’t clear like on the picture, but it was very nice and relaxing. The food was good. The drinks weren’t great, but they were ok. Since this is a man made beach it was disappointing that the rocks under were so bad. The kids got their feet cut. Water shoes are a must! The park was enjoyed but the kids! Next time we will add the water park. The family overall had a great time!!
Worst drinks I ever had in Mexico. Very limited drink menu. Only one brand of beer included with package. No can or bottled beer included just one brand of draft beer. All the frozen drinks were just setting in the blender melting until they poured it in a plastic cup and then add the alcohol. When my drinks arrived they were almost completely melted and tasted like coconut sun screen. The buffet would be shut down in the U.S. due to cold food. Told my family not to eat the food in fear of getting sick and running the rest of our vacation. The water is very murky due to the location the beach seems to be located in a slight cove. All the other beach club locations had clear beautiful water that day. Cozumel had at least 4 ships in port that day and Kuza was empty looking probably from some of the real reviews starting to get posted. I can’t imagine this place will be open more two years unless they fix the horrendous food and drinks. Also asked for some bottled water and was told they weren’t included in my package. I know a lot of beach clubs get loud and packed sometimes but do yourself a favor and book something else.
*. Music only played in a very small section of the beach *. Food and drinks not worth the price which includes tacos, nachos & drinks. Taste of food was mid * a ton of workers there but not friendly *. Paradise beach was a much better option
Nice place to take the family and relax!! Enjoyed the beach, drinks was good and the buffet was better than I thought it would be!! Would definitely recommend for others!?
Very disappointed with how they did not honor the discount for the remaining balance in the confirmation email. I have reached out multiple times and they have not even responded. Also, you have to be very specific about the type and duration of massage that you get because you will be very surprised once you see the charges for a massage that you didn’t choose to get to begin with. The receptionist at the front where you get your wristband is also very rude and not very patient in waiting for you to pull up the confirmation email.
This stop was our backup plan bc Paradise Beach was sold out. The views and beach were average…. Once you arrive at the park, you have take another shuttle to the beach area or whichever area of the park you are wanting to visit. The “open Buffett” is the worst part. It’s heat and eat concession stand type food. Not the authentic Mexican food like street tacos and pico you would hope for. Literally like nacho cheese sauce out of a can and spaghetti. The drinks were good. We did like the adult only option on the beach. That was relaxing and a nice space to spend the day.
Overall the park experience was great Quite enjoyable. But the buffet is a big letdown Very limited choices. If you’re looking to enjoy lunch there you’re in for a major disappointment The drinks are great Massages are amazing Again my only complaint is the buffet I’ve done Mr Santos quite a few times as well as paradise and I would probably do Kaza again in the future now that I know what to expect. If still would be my last choice
While the water park and lazy river are nice, I do not recommend Kuza beach and adventure park. We got the all inclusive pass which included food and beverage. The website advertised local beers. It should be beer. They have Dos Equis on tap and that’s what is included. My husband asked for Tecate and it was $8 a can. I drank Paloma’s and they were good. Not all food is included. You can have a quarter of a cheese quesadilla, tacos, fish n chips and brownie or tres leches. The fish was mostly batter. The tacos were okay, tres leches was really good but small. You can have as much as you want, but the portions are really small. My main issue is customer service. Our ship was late to dock in Cozumel due to a technical issue the night before in Belize, so we did not get there until 12:15 so we only had a couple of hours at the park. Not a big deal except we missed our snorkeling excursion that we paid in advance. They wanted me to wait at the ticket booth in the sun while someone texted a manager to get us a refund. I asked her to have the manager speak with me because I didn’t want to spend what time we did have at the ticket booth. It was not busy at all and I never saw a manager. I have been trying to get the snorkel portion refunded for 3 weeks. Even though the website says you only pay 50% to reserve, that was not my experience. I had to pay all up front.
Just went to kuza on may 29 2026 . I can not recommend this for small children , kid pool and slides were closed to construction you must me 48 " tall to ride the big slides and 99 Lbs to do the zip line. But your teenagers will love it. Service was very good. Food was good as well.
After canceling a boat trip due to wind and rain, we wanted to visit a beach club. The popular ones were sold out so we decided on Kuza as they still had tickets. Overall, it wasn't the best time for a few reasons. The good - plenty of beach chairs, good drink service from waiters, 2 of us had lunch in the big restaurant and found it pretty tasty. The bad - the front desk let us purchase 2 waterpark upgrades for the teens but when we went to that part (which is far from the beach part), they wouldn't let the adults go in there just to sit and watch them. They ended up cutting off their bands and refunding but it was a whole ordeal that took too much time. Beach drinks weren't good so we stuck to beer. Also a huge line builds up to take the tram back near cruise ship departure times so that was stressful. 2 of us had lunch in the smaller buffett and it was cold/not tasty. For $60 tickets I definitely will not visit again.
It's family friendly easy, relaxing and glorious day on a unique lagoon. I'm not a strong swimmer and truly enjoyed the activities.
This is an absolutely beautiful beach. The buffet was pretty good. We did not do the waterslide portion. This is definitely geared towards people on cruise ships that want a beach day. We were staying at a local resort and went here for a few hours as we thought there would be nice snorkeling. You get to use snorkel gear for 30 minutes and I looked everywhere and couldn't find much of anything to look at- which was very disappointing. Without a doubt, the beach is beautiful, plenty of lounge chairs, etc. But I wouldn't pay $80 to sit on a beach, eat a buffet and have some drinks again if I was staying at a resort.
Amazing location with even more wonderful staff! From the beach to the staff that took care of our every need, this place is a must to experience if you are looking for an all inclusive experience. More beach lounges than any group could take up, with plenty of shade or full sun if you wanted. The buffet was well appointed and a beautiful, huge tiki area seating. All inclusive drinks were great and did actually have alcohol! Staff were always around to tend to your needs. Highly recommend!!! We will be back.
This was our second visit to Kuza beach this year, the first was in January. It had changed so much, but still retained the beauty and peaceful atmosphere. We didn’t take advantage of the water park or zip lines. We had the all inclusive package and the drinks and service were great. The buffet wasn’t the greatest, but worked for a quick snack. The beach area is divided into family and adult only. There is so much space that it never seemed crowded and there was a lot to walk through and explore. The first time we went, we booked through Carnival….this time we saved a lot and booked through TripAdvisor - no worry about getting back to the ship on time, there were plenty of taxis.
Overall the beach is pleasant to look at. We were in the family area and it is quite rocky. We were attended to by Cesar and he was very attentive. Plenty of chairs to pick from. I was a little disappointed in the food in buffet, because of selections. For the price, the experience was a little underwhelming. Overall, if returning to Cozumel, I would visit another beach to try.
This was HORRIBLE. Dirty dirty pool water. No pump or filters working. The lazy river was not working either. Beach was full of seaweed and trash. Did not tell us when we ordered sodas from a can they weren’t part of the all inclusive and when we asked to be reimbursed the manager took the money from the other servers tips. The all inclusive food by the pool was disgusting and the chips were stale. The server rolled his eyes at us. Oh and the 7up tasted like chemicals. Not drinkable.
