I am a travel agent and booked this for the day off of our Disney Cruise. I have booked day passes like this before at a couple of other places just like this. The overall experience was not great! We did the $80 day pass with food and alcohol. The food was terrible and they didn’t have enough. The drinks were what you would expect! Our waiter was the best part of the day. I think his name was Jorge. The actual water at this beach is very nice because it’s more South, but it was almost the same experience as the close $20 a day beaches in my opinion. Where things got really bad was when they turned the water off. You could not flush the toilets, wash your hands or rinse the sand off your feet. Then, our transportation back was trying to leave two people out of our party off the bus when we paid for a seat back. They also dropped us off a mile from the port in a back alley and we only had 30 minutes to make it to the ship. We almost did not make it! I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Miserable, run-down, dumpy developing world experience. Cannot believe Disney Port Adventures offered this. Kuza Beach was the final stop of a Cozumel bus tour, which was also awful (open air bus--no airconditioning; stopped at dumpy tourist traps). Kuza Beach has absolutely zero buildings with any airconditioning, so be ready to experience intense heat and only shaded areas. Paid enormous amount of money for the buffet for three persons, one of whom, my son, did not end up eating because the selection of food was so limited and pathetic. I politely requested a refund for my son's meal, but Kuza would not provide one. I ate very dry carne asada with rice, and that was awful, too. Many of the beach loungers were stained from sun care products. Music was blasting too loud in the beach area. The washrooms are not air conditioned. They have very rustic stalls, with a very Mexican style plumbing setup, complete with waste cans, presumably because the toilets there cannot handle toilet paper. This excursion was definitely not worth the time or money--wish I had stayed aboard the cruise ship. Kuza Beach is the epitome of poor quality amenities, food, and service.
Our family of 15 had an amazing experience at Kuza. We came on the MSC Seascape and took taxis to and from the cruise port. When we arrived, half our party ziplined while the rest of the group enjoyed food and drinks delivered by a dedicated waiter at the water park. When the first group was done, a second group went ziplining. We all were having such a good time at the water park that we decided not to go to the beach this trip. That will be a good reason to come back. We didn't know that they had taken pictures during the zipline experience, so that was an added surprise. We purchased the digital photo package, and they kindly took a few extra shots of our group in front of their sign. We all agreed we would return to Kuza. Loved every minute of it!
We recently returned home from a cruise where we went to Kuza for the first time. I had high hopes for it being wonderful. We go to Cozumel approximately three times a year and wanted something new. I was so bummed to find out you had to pay extra for a hamburger at the water park. How is that possible when we paid $100 each to get in? I ordered a quesadilla and it was very cold and hard yet it was 9:30 in the morning. It was just sitting there stacked three rows high. My family realized we had to take a tram just to eat at the restaurant (Huge disappointment. We are used to being waited on in our beach chairs). By the time all was said and done we did not even have a chance to eat at the restaurant since our time there seemed so brief. I tried to order a bloody mary at the beach but was going to be charged. It is an all-inclusive day pass. Why charge me for the drink? I decided to do a White Russian. Our waiter said they do not have that. I settled for wine. NOPE. What a let down. Catching a tram to head back was an experience I do not want to have to go through again. I thought three fights were going to break out since there was no method to the madness of who was actually first, second, etc. in line. Cursing and yelling ensued, and we had kids with us. I reached out to Kuza, but was not responded to. Definitely will not be going back to Kuza.
Arranged own taxi (surprise) but really more efficient than the bus. Arrived early. Food both at water park and beach was disappointing. Not hot. Not fresh. Bathrooms at water park needed attention and floors were slick. Sergio was nice Even fresh quesadilla were bland and even though made to order were terrible nothing was fresh or tasty.
The facility was great, transportation from the beach to the waterpark was slow, the food and drinks were subpar. The buffet was lacking in favorites for the younger kids to eat. The mixed drinks seemed watered down as to be expected from this type of resort. Our cruise ship left the port early that day so we didn't seem to spend enough time there. The zipline feature was included but we didn't have time to participate, maybe the costs should be broken down to not include everything available. We will probably try another place the next time we are in Cozumel.
The visit here was very good, if you have plenty of time to experience all the park has to offer. We visited as part of a cruise stop and could not take advantage of all the activities we would have liked. If you don't have major time constraints, this is a great way to enjoy Cozumel.
The beach is fantastic. Everyone is sure to get an umbrella on the beach and drinks were unlimited and served well. The park was not too crowded. The golf cart service from main gate to beach and vice versa was very convenient. The drawbacks - it’s one of the farthest from the cruise terminal. Our ship was docked at Punta Langosta and it was a 30 min drive to the resort. The food was not up to the mark . Hardly any vegetarian or vegan options were available. Also the Buffett area cube kept cleaner. But overall a good place to spend your day.
We booked the Kuza Beach & Adventure Park shore excursion through our Celebrity cruise. What was sold as a cultural tour turned out to be a series of aggressive sales stops, capped off by what I can only describe as deliberate price manipulation. At the tequila and chocolate “farm tour,” our party was split into two groups for tasting and sales. I purchased their most expensive Extra Añejo for $300, with a flavored espresso tequila cocktail included as a “gift.” I later learned from my own family members who were placed in the other group that the SAME Extra Añejo was offered to them at $200, then bundled WITH the same cocktail for $250 — and when their group hesitated, an additional 10% discount was thrown in, bringing the identical bundle down to $225. I paid $300 for exactly the same thing, in the same building, on the same tour, at the same time. This is not haggling culture. This is not a market stall. This was a structured, guided excursion where the vendor charged different groups different prices for identical products — clearly probing what each group would tolerate. I also purchased a propolis spray ($45) and eye drops ($35), and after this experience I have zero confidence those prices were legitimate either. The tour structure itself was a bait-and-switch: the “downtown tour” was essentially a shopping stop for jewelry and leather goods, and the tequila/chocolate “farm” was a sales operation. Because so much time was consumed by these selling sessions, our actual beach time — the part we booked this excursion for — was cut drastically short.
Kuza was absolutely beautiful. The beach was 3,000 feet long, didn’t have to worry about being directly on top of everyone. The food was good at the buffet, the zip line was also a unique experience. Waterslides were fun, lazy river was nice as well. My only complaint was that the bar staff was very slow, especially at the pool. The drinks were very watered down and took at least 15 minutes to get to you, even when not busy.
They OVER CHARGED US BY DOUBLE - AND WE CAN NOT GET ANYONE TO REPLY OR ANSWER PHONE - WE ARE OUT $299.32 !!! Go to Sanchos or Paradise Beach - MUCH BETTER FOOD AND POOL - and you don't get scammed !!!!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing experience at KUZA Beach & Adventure Park! The beach access was beautiful, with plenty of comfortable chairs and umbrellas available so we could relax and enjoy the day. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. A special shoutout to our waiter, who provided outstanding service by bringing our drinks right to us on the beach. It made our day even more relaxing and enjoyable! If you’re looking for a beautiful beach with excellent service, KUZA Beach & Adventure Park is definitely worth a visit. We can’t wait to come back!
Really fun experience, whole family loved it. Exceptional service, great food and drinks, fun slides and nice beach. Special thanks to our excellent guide, Ceasar, clear instructions and organized. Also shout out to Andres I. for outstanding 5-star service at the pool side. Amazing tacos!
Too far to get to, too far from the front gate to the beach area, the beach area is not that good, and it is a very rocky area to get into the sea from the beach, need wet/dry shoe for sure. Food not the best variety to choose from, drinks are not the best selection.
The beaches were beautiful but they would not stop trying to up sell us to a higher package. We had this happen to us several times where we were stopped by employees and given a 5 min sales pitch that was completed unsolicited we tried several times during each to politely tell them we were not interested, but they would just double down and try to sell it even harder. I got the bare bones package just to do the swimming and get a shaded place to sit bc I planned to eat before and after the beach. The beach is also very shallow I'm over 6ft and at its deepest it was only to my chest. And all paddle boarding and kayaking were in the swimming area which takes up alot of the swimming room.
We booked the all inclusive day. I don't like saying but my granddaughter wanted to go to the beach. So my plan was to sit by the pool while she enjoyed the beach. There was no pool to sit by. When I asked about the pool, I was told that for an additional $30 I could enjoy the pool. I'd already spent $ 109 per person and did not want to put out any further money for only 4 hours. The food was awful with a very very limited selection. Guacamole was not included on the limited Buffet and if you wanted it you had to pay an additional $6 for it. So I laid out in a chair on the beach. No one ever came to my chair to ask if I wanted anything to drink. So I had to get up and walk to the bar to get something to drink. I tried to go into the water to cool off but the waves kept knocking me around. It was hard to walk on the beach into the water because there were shells everywhere that were cutting into my feet. None of the people working there were friendly. The bathroom was okay but not clean. Every time I needed to cool off, I went to the shower outside of the bathroom to rinse off. I was so disappointed in this excursion and will never ever do it again or even recommend it to anyone. I should have went to Playa Mia or Mr Sancho's.
We enjoyed our visit. We had the all-inclusive package through Royal Caribbean. The food was good, but we recommend ordering off of the menu. The drinks were basic, but good. The atmosphere can be whatever you like: quiet or lively. The beach is lovely. There is plenty of shade and a few hammocks. They offer massage and we were surprised at the quality. Our only complaint was that the bus left us. We were told to be at the bus by 3:00 P.M. and the bus had already left at 2:47 when we arrived (there was a long line for the tram to get back to the bus). We even followed our guide back to the tram. I lost sight of him once I got in line and never saw him again. We barely had enough time, money and luck to find a cab to make it back to the cruise ship. We were panicked!!!
This place was the most or unorganized awful sketchy shady rip off I have ever been through in travel excursions. So disappointing and terrible experience. I lost my whole day even left hours before my exit time. We couldn’t spend one more minute there. Food was disgustingly bad full of flies everywhere around buffet. Service horrendous. Activities not organized and we have to share atvs with other drivers not allowing the two of us to drive only one driver per group since they only have 4 cars for over 60 people. 30 minutes ride per 4 people. Awful experience can’t even say everything since will take me an hour to write this very honest review.
We went for the day expecting to lay out on the beach and just enjoy the Cozumel vibes. We ended up snorkeling (brought our own gear) for FOUR HOURS and didn't want to leave!! I can't say much other than the drive was very close to port and the staff were supremely welcoming. Top excursion day for us! We never even got out of the water long enough to try the food or taste a drink. We didn't pay for a particular snorkel area, just all along the beach area. Fabulous marine life right under your feet!!
We went to KUZA on Easter Sunday 2026 as a day excursion from the Underground Garage Cruise (Norwegian Cruise Line). The staff was very helpful and solicitous of our needs, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a good time at the beautiful beach. My only complaint was that I wished the music the beach DJ played constantly was at a lower volume. The free buffet was excellent (there's nothing like having Mexican food in Mexico, anywhere else just isn't the same!). The beach is clean and the sea is clear. There are vendors selling the usual souvenirs (and some high-end tequila as well); they aren't bargains, but there is no hard sell. English is spoken, as this is a total gringo beach experience. If you're just looking for a relaxing and fun time, I highly recommend it.
Over priced hype. One server for the whole beach. Be prepared to stand in line at the bar. Not near enough seating for the pathetic "buffet". Don't believe the advertising.
I really enjoyed my visit to KUZÁ! The beach was lovely and the entire park was very clean. Despite the size of the island, it never felt crowded, which made for a very peaceful atmosphere. My package included free food and drinks, and everything I had was delicious. I spent most of my time at the "chill beach" and had a perfect seat with an incredibly attentive server. I also treated myself to a much-needed massage, which was a highlight. Getting there from the cruise port was easy; it was a quick 20-minute taxi ride that cost $60 for our family of five. Two things to keep in mind: The Wi-Fi didn't work and there was no cellular service, so be prepared to be off the grid. Also, you have to take a tram from the entrance to the beach. Some people were a bit pushy trying to cut the line, which can be frustrating, but that’s more about the crowd than the park itself. Overall, a great experience!
This was a good experience. Unfortunately when I went the waterpark wasn't open and the weather wasn't the best so all of activities were shut down. I didn't like the fact that they told us this right before we got on the bus to head there, basically by the no refund period (we did this on a cruise ship) but the park itself was good. The food was AMAZING. The service at the location was great, too. If you've never done this experience before i can recommend it.
A beautiful day at Kuza in Cozumel! 🌴☀️ We booked the Royal Caribbean excursion and it completely exceeded our expectations. There was an organized waiting area for the tour bus that took us to Kuza. The bus ride was about 30 minutes from the cruise port. After a short walk down to the beach area (including a few steps and bridge), we were welcomed to a beautiful spot to relax and enjoy the day. The buffet lunch was authentic and delicious. Drinks and lunch were included with our Royal Caribbean excursion, which made the experience even better! A special thank you to Martin, our beach waiter for the day. It was my mom’s birthday and he surprised her with a birthday treat! 🎉🍹 The water was beautiful and the music created such a fun and relaxing atmosphere. Our pickup time was about four hours after we arrived, which worked out perfectly. It gave us enough time to explore some of the shopping in Cozumel and even grab a quick beer at Señor Frog’s before heading back. A wonderful day all around!
Denise and Bernice were the best!!!!
Never even made it. Got in line for the excursion and the guide was absolutely rude. Not welcoming, very short and demanding. The way she greeted us. We didn’t want to see how the rest of the staff at the park would greet us. I get having a bad day but do better at picking the face to your company that is supposed to greet us and make the excursion exciting. Very very disappointed. We were looking so forward to seeing how beautiful your beach was but with the experience we got within the first 10 minutes, we will never step foot on that beach.
Don’t spend money here! First the bridge is so unsafe it’s going to collapse!!! picture a bridge 40 feet off the ground 100 feet long with 70 fat cruisers on it. It was swaying back and forth. Second thing worst food and drinks.
Everyone was very friendly. It was a wonderful time and we are planning on going back soon.
Booked this via Royal Caribbean, this was the most expensive beach trip they had and it was sold as high end luxury. This it was most definitely not. Man made beach, with sand covering rocky slopes. Admittedly on the day we were there the sea was rough, so cannot attest whether the ,sea is nice, as it was grey and full of seaweed. No opportunity to snorkel (not Kuza's fault) Food was a very sub part buffet. Considering we were in Mexico, i have no idea what the guacamole was about - runny liquid consistency. Drinks were cheap and not nice. All in all a bad experience. Resort seems very unfinished. Wish i had walked to a free beach. Would definitely not recommend and hugely disappointing. Luckily i have been to Cozumel before and know how lovely it is. Kuza is not lovely.
Our experience at KUZA Beach & Adventure Park in Cozumel started off disappointing and unfortunately never fully recovered. From the moment we arrived, the check-in process felt disorganized. The ticket agents were not welcoming and gave us conflicting information, which set the tone for the day. Once inside the park, the confusion and lack of customer service continued. We purchased the VIP Pass, which turned out to be a big mistake. The VIP section felt no different from the Chill or Family areas, making the upcharge hard to justify. The park itself is very large, but it didn’t feel like there were enough staff or systems in place to support the size and provide a smooth guest experience. One of the biggest frustrations was transportation within the park. When it was time to return to the front, we waited over an hour for the mini golf cart shuttle. That is unacceptable—especially after paying for VIP access. There were a few bright spots. Our bartender, Carlos, was kind, attentive, and clearly sensed our disappointment. He did everything he could to make our time more enjoyable. I also had a 30-minute deep tissue massage from Martha, who was professional, warm, and excellent at what she does. Both employees stood out as true professionals doing their best. The beach itself is beautiful, but it is clearly man-made, and the sand felt rough and jagged in many areas. Overall, KUZA delivered on scenic views, but the overall experience felt overpriced and poorly organized. I’d rate it a 5/10. Next time we visit Cozumel, we’ll likely choose a different beach experience.
Went today, 2-17-26 & was not impressed at all for the money. No internet so they couldn't take credit cards. Food was not good at all & the resort was too spread out. Once the shuttle dropped us to the beach it was a very long walk to get to chairs. Waiter insisted we sit in the worse spot there. They only offered 1 kind of beer. They need to add the Waterpark with the price instead of separate since everything is so far apart. Other resorts are a lot nicer for less money and a whole lot better food. This resort has a lot to improve. Probably will not ever go back
We booked this excursion while on our cruise. We were there the second to last day of our cruise on February 12. My husband, son and I ate lunch at their buffet. I mainly ate from the salad bar and they both ate from the Mexican food buffet. That night in the middle of the night, I got so sick running to the bathroom every hour. That proceeded to happen over the next few days slowly getting better. I know I got sick from Kuza’s all inclusive buffet lunch. Be careful eating there!!! It ruined the last day of my vacation on our cruise and also made my full day of traveling home miserable. They should be ashamed of providing poor food and making people sick!! If they can’t provide quality food then they should not offer food at their beach. I still am grossed out just thinking about their salad buffet. Seriously, bring your own food if you go there!
I booked the 'VIP All-Inclusive Paradise Experience' at KUZÁ Beach, and it was a complete nightmare. There is absolutely nothing VIP about this place; it was a total waste of time and money. The Logistics: The disorganization was extreme. We waited at the port for over an hour in the rain with no shelter. We didn't even reach the club until 11:00 AM. To make matters worse, the 'VIP transportation' was a filthy bus with broken seats and a foul smell that stuck to our clothes. My wife and I couldn't even sit together. The Facilities: Upon arrival, the 'VIP lounge' was a joke. The bali beds were soaking wet and visibly dirty. There were no towels available, and we had to beg the staff just to get some. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting and unsanitary. The Food and Drinks: The 'all-inclusive' promise is a lie. The food was cold and did not look or taste fresh. The drinks were of very poor quality. The Time: Despite getting there late, they forced us back onto the bus at 2:20 PM. We barely had 3 hours in a place that was supposed to be a 'paradise experience.' Do yourself a favor and stay away from this provider. Royal Caribbean should be ashamed to offer this as a premium excursion. It was a rushed, dirty, and miserable trip
We have a 3 year old and an 8 month old who were very much looking forward to the amenities advertised by this property only to find out everything was closed except the beach. We asked to speak with the manager to cancel our reservation before we entered the park but were assured that he would come to find us to offer some alternatives. He never came. Could have saved a lot of money by just going to the free beach and not paying a taxi 75 dollars to get to the KUZA beach where the food was sub par and restaurant staff was less than pleased to be working.
We went here as an excursion during a cruise. I highly recommend this beach! It was so lovely, not crowded at all, lots of natural areas along the beach, great for a walk to observe plants and birds. We had the buffet and drink package. The food was outstanding and the drinks were great! Our excursion also included a tequila tasting. The staff were all super friendly. especially our guide Jorge. We had a great time!
Beautiful place but nothing VIP about it. I could have bought a regular pass and still had the same experience. The only difference is that someone brings you drinks (we don't even drink) the tacos were ok, very spicy and the food at the restaurant was disgusting 😒 wasted $750
This water park is only a beach, nothing else. A restaurant with a buffett. You have to sit inside to eat, but you can pay to sit outside. The food is terrible. Cheap liquor is free, but you pay for better drinks. Massages are more expensive than on cruise ship. You have to take a tour bus to get there, then load up on a smaller trolley to get to the beach. The entertainment was awful. It is geared towards kids and making them scream. I will not visit again.
A beautiful resort, great staff (Tony the entertainment staff ) was awesome! Lots of fun, food and drinks! 10/10 I recommend
It was such a great entertainment team, especially David with the crazy fun activities. The ocean was was amazing with the views and the water and the food was awesome.
Everything was perfect. The beach was beautiful, and the buffet was delicious. Plenty of lounge chairs on the beach to sit back and relax, and Tony kept us entertained with trivia. Would highly recommend.
This is like Heaven on earth!!!!! The clear clean beach is outstanding!!! The lounge chairs and umbrellas were perfect. The drinks were always great and on time!! All staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed! The food…….ohhhhhhh this food was DELICIOUS!!! The massages are unbelievable!!! I was so relaxed and refreshed! This is my second time here and I’m already ready for my next trip!!!!!
We were misled about many things which left us very disappointed. Be prepared to hear that everything is included and expect to get a check at the end of your visit. The check comes with a plethora of excuses about how this is not included and that is not included. That said, I could handle the false charges, but what made the trip worse is that we got food poisoning at the all you can eat buffet. This caused us to lose a day on board the ship which we will never get back. Kuza is a beautiful beach, but be weary of the false promises from a guy who keeps referring to you as "my family" and the food! If you really want to go to Kuza, take food from the ship, and a taxi. It's will be a great day and cost almost nothing!!!
Carlos was our tour guide and made the trip 10x more awesome. He was funny and made you feel like you were home away from home. Beautiful place.
This park was BEAUTIFUL!!! 😍 Our tour guide Denisse was awesome and the staff fun, friendly and lively. 100% will return and recommend!!!
Jorge was very helpful, it was a great experience. Beach was beautiful, restaurant was clean and food was delicious. Have restrooms and shower area to wash off.
Jorge was amazing and Fernando! Kuza beach was breathtaking Would recommend to everyone we had the very best time ever!!!!
While vacationing on the Explorer of the Seas, we booked an excursion at Kuza. Henry was our tour guide. He was very friendly and funny. The water was gorgeous, so clean and crystal clear. It was clear enough to see fish. The ride from the pier to Kuza was roughly 15 minutes. My only complaint is that I wish there were some breakfast options. Even if a breakfast burrito. It was too early for chicken and fish at 9:30 am. All the employees were very welcoming. I would highly recommend visiting the park. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely be back.
Great, relaxing day... tequila samples to start the day... then good food in the all inclusive buffet... an enjoyable swim in beautiful water... plenty of loungers for everyone, no pushy sellers
We had a great time relaxing in the sun. The staff were very attentive and the lunch and drinks were very good. The facilities were clean and very tidy.
Took this as an excursion for our cruise. Alfredo was amazing and did such a great job being our guide! Will definitely visit again!
