I booked for myself and 3 senior citizen women friends directly with this company. We just wanted a five hour tour in an air-conditioned jeep to see some of the beautiful sites of Cozumel and a nice lunch somewhere. Our guide, Enrique, was fabulous! He picked us up at the appointed time at the cruise port. Enrique showed us some beautiful sites in Cozumel and had a wealth of information about the history of Cozumel, as he was from there.. We enjoyed our time with Enrique as much as we enjoyed the tour, he was the best. We asked him to suggest a nice place for lunch and it was absolutely the most beautiful restaurant with delicious food and lovely gardens. Our tour was exactly what we were looking for and we can’t say enough wonderful things about Enrique, what a nice young man! We highly recommend this company, this Tours with your choice of whatever you want to do in that five hours and of course we highly recommend and enjoyed Enrique!

Great mixture of education and fun. Got to see Mayan Ruins, learn about the island and stop in for snorkeling fun.
This was a very fun day. Aldair was a wonderful guide/driver. He shared a lot of knowledge about Cozumel. We spent about six hours and got to see all the great spots Cozumel has to offer!
Enrique was phenomenal! He made our time in Cozumel memorable!
We loved our guide he was amazing!! I would recommend To anyone. Enrique was the best we ever had! We will come back to see him for sure. Love the Manzi’s
Enrique is simply the best! You will not find someone more passionate and knowledgeable about his island home. Gustavo at the San Gervasio park was also fantastic! His knowledge of the Mayan history of the ruins was so fascinating to hear. Gabby at Tierra Maya was so sweet and a great presenter talking about the Mayan chocolate making process and the honey that come from the stingless Melipona bees. Our pit stop at Palm Beach resort was a cherry on top. The service there was top notch!! I highly recommend getting away from the cruise ship excursions and seeing Cozumel from a different view.
We had a great outing with Enrique who was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about Cozumel’s culture and history. It was a great mix of going to different sites and stopping for pictures, as well as background information along the way. We squeezed in an excellent lunch in between visiting Mayan Ruins, touring the island and seeing its natural beauty, and going to the eastern side and seeing the beautiful coast and all the turtle nests. We packed as much as we could into our trip and pushed our schedule a bit, but it was totally worth it! Totally recommend this tour and Enrique, who was very patient and flexible with us.
Wonderful experience with Enrique. He is full of information about the island and very helpful in suggesting and picking locations that our whole family enjoyed. The communication was great which made everything very easy.
If you are looking for the absolute best way to experience Cozumel, book a tour with Enrique immediately! He gave us a flawless, comprehensive look at the island that perfectly balanced stunning natural beauty, cultural history, and local flavors. We started our journey exploring the vibrant Downtown area and the central Main Square (Plaza Central), where Enrique shared fascinating insights into local island life. From there, he took us to the incredible Chocolates Kaokao Factory learning about the Mayan history of cacao and participating in a bean-to-bar tasting experience was an absolute highlight. Enrique then navigated us through the island's distinct regions, showing us the serene North Island and taking us deep to the breathtaking Punta Sur Eco Beach Park. Seeing the pristine lagoons, historic lighthouses, and coastal wildlife was unforgettable. We cruised down the rugged, undeveloped East Coast, stopping at the famous Coconuts Bar. Perched high on the island's only cliffside, it offered spectacular ocean views, a fun atmosphere, and the perfect place to unwind. Throughout the entire day, Enrique was incredibly professional, deeply knowledgeable, and attentive to every detail. He timed our stops perfectly to avoid major cruise ship crowds and tailored the day to our rhythm. Thank you, Enrique, for sharing your beautiful island with us!
Diego was an amazing guide. He gave us the authentic Cozumel experience that we were looking for. He had some excellent suggestions and knows the island very well. He took us to the local market, a local taqueria, a free beach, a chocolate factory, a Cenote and to Tierra Maya (def a highlight!!) where we participated in some great hands-on activities. We knew we wanted to go to Tierra Maya and a beach when we booked the tour… and the rest of the time, Diego helped fill in the gaps. The jeep was in great condition with a great amount of a/c and very comfortable for the 3 of us. This was my third time in Cozumel, and this tour was way better than my previous trips where I spent most of my time at Chankanaab - swimming with dolphins and snorkeling. This time, we learned a lot about the real culture and people living on the island and really enjoyed our time. But Diego really knows his stuff and can cater to anyone’s tastes. He also had some great recommendations for all-inclusive beaches, but we chose to skip since we didn’t plan to spend too much time at the beach. Highly recommend.
Angelo, our driver was great and willing to take us wherever we wanted. He did suggest Tierra Maya, a hands on cultural activity taking us back thousands of years to the Mayan way of life. We learned about the importance of stingless bees and the various types of honey, converted cacao beans into chocolate powder, tasted various tequila products, made salsa like the Mayans did thousands of years ago, and made tortillas to eat with the homemade salsa. Very informative and the staff was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommended excursion.
Irving was a great guide! He was very personable. He took us through Punta Sur and shared his knowledge on the park and on Myan culture.
Enrique was an excellent driver and an exceptional ambassador for the island. Great conversation, information and flexibility. Joel was super friendly and informative at the experience. Loved the attitude and insight he provided at every step of this hands on experience. I've never invited bees on my hand before, nor smelled the tequila on my flesh. I recommend doing this as a small group private tour.
We had an incredible experience exploring Cozumel with Enrique. He took us to some amazing spots, gave us some great history of the island and finished the day with the best meal we’ve had at Casa Mission. Highly recommend especially if you can get Enrique!
Our guide Enrique was a delight. We had a blast touring the island and learning the culture and history
We signed up for this private tour so we wouldn’t have to be on a bus with several others. We got to customize our tour and our wonderful guide Irvin was friendly and knowledgeable about his Island. We went to a few places near the cruise pier and drove around the island. We went to a bee farm where we learned all about the stingless bees native to Cozumel. Tasted all the different honeys they make, tried vanilla from there plants they grow. And we made chocolate. He then took us to the other side of the Island to a local quiet beach where we had time to swing on the beach, have a shoulder massage and a delicious lunch. We tried local tequila, which was delicious. We ended up buying the chocolate and caramel flavored ones. We even got to hold an iguana, which I was nervous about, but they were soft and very relaxed. Then he took us to a Mayan cenote water well. These are natural sinkholes are formed by the collapse of limestone bedrock, exposing groundwater. They were sacred to the Maya as water sources. They were so big and deep that we saw people, snorkeling, and scuba diving in them. We also saw crocodiles being lazy in the sun. Highly highly recommend this tour in our guide. Irving was the best.
Inreque was awesome!! Highly recommend! Showed us all the great spots! Taught us a ton about the culture!
Enrique was an amazing and knowledgeable host. We really enjoyed our trip around the island. He took us to some really fun and unique spots. Would 100% book this trip again.
Enrique was our tour guide and he was outstanding. He was very personable, tailored the tour to our interests, and also included many lesser known (to tourists) interesting stops. He had a wealth of knowledge about ancient Mayan culture and explained many of the historic Mayan statues and structures. He also provided a great tour of the seaside and local neighborhoods, beautiful churches, cemeteries and even a very rich introduction to the culture of burials and ongoing celebration of family members who have passed. The last part of our tour was to a beautiful beach and seaside restaurant where we enjoyed a relaxing lunch of fresh fish and fajitas, followed by a tequila tasting. What a wonderful day! Many thanks to Enrique for sharing so much history and his love of this beautiful island. We will be back to stay longer.
We did a private Jeep tour with Irvin (Irving?). He was amazing! Safe driver, clean Jeep, and gave us excellent recommendations. We came because I wanted to take my son to Pueblo de Maiz after he studied the Mayans in school. It was awesome. Irvin also knew a lot about Mayan culture and told us interesting information. Irvin recommended this bee sanctuary nearby and that was fun and educational too! We asked for a lunch recommendation and he took us to a restaurant near the port that had great food and had a little play structure that our kids loved playing on while we were waiting for the food. We will definitely request him on our next port day in Cozumel!
Enrique spent 6 hrs with 4 of us. He was very accommodating, informative and fluent. He took us to points of interest. Not only did he he take us around the island, he also stopped at a chocolate factory...a place where you could buy and sample honey and we also stopped at a beach on the east coast of the island. Ask for Enrique to show you around. You won't regret it!
We got to Cozumel on a windy day so i was so glad that i book this tour instead of snorkeling. Diego took us to the Maya Ruins as we requested and we learn a lot about the culture. Other stops have great drinks and snacks. We ended the trip with AMAZING TACOS and SHRIMP COCKTAIL. Highly recommend.
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Enrique! We told him we wanted to learn about Cozumel and its culture on this tour and he provided exactly that and more! We haven't stopped talking about what a great day it was! We learned and saw so much. We now want to plan another visit!
Very professional service. Responded quickly to my questions and concerns. Our driver, Charly, was very friendly and took our personal preferences to recommend some sights to see. We asked for something unique to Cozumel, and he took us to a local bee farm, which had a wonderful tour and lots of unique honey products. I highly recommend Bee Friendly and say hi to Noemi, she's the best tour guide. This Jeep excursion with guide is well worth the money!
Amazing experience! We got Enrique for our island tour guide. Met us right at the Ferry dock across the street if you are not coming from a cruise ship. He asked what we wanted to do and we learned the history here on Cozumel. We went to the chocolate factory and had a little taste tasting, the Mayan ruins they had, tequila tasting, a beach massage and we did go around the whole island. Enrique was very good about answering questions and what we wanted. If he didn’t know he would tell us. The Mayan ruins and the chocolate tasting we did have to pay for but honestly was worth it. Would definitely go again and maybe do something a little different compared to this previous time we went. 100% will recommend to anyone!
Diego was a wonderful driver/guide. His English is superb, and he accommodated all our requests. We enjoyed the tour greatly.
We had a wonderful day in Cozumel with our guide, Enrique. He took us to the island’s ruins, a local chocolate factory, a few beautiful beaches, and even drove us around the island while sharing great insights. The whole experience was smooth, fun, and truly memorable.
Enrique was very nice and knowledgeable about his island and history. My wife and I would your with him again. He took us to get some of the most amazing tacos we have ever had. Then to the Kaokao chocolate factory. Afterwords we visited the Bee Friendly Conservation Park to sample and tour their facility. And finally to the Aztec ruins where we learned about the ancient inhabitants and culture of the island.
My fiance and I spent the day with Enrique and it was perfect. It really was tailored to us. We needed to stop at the Santa der Bank first to take out more cash and make change. Then we hit up the chocolate factory nearby. Next was the ruins in the center of the island. Then a bee sanctuary, and finally the best mojitos, shrimp tacos, and the best views on the eastern side. Beyond just WHAT we did, there was HOW it was done. Enrique was kind, knowledgeable, and chill. Extremely helpful and when we arrived at the different locations and chose between tours and experiences, there was never any sense of rushing from him. We were able to add an extra hour for $30 US, and fit everything in at a relaxed pace. We would do it again in a heart beat. The car was clean and air conditioned. He had a cooler in the back with water and coca cola. We were able to put our chocolate in there so it didn't melt during the rest of the day. Thanks, Enrique. ❤️
We were over the moon about our adventures with Enrique! He was so pleasant and knowledgeable, took us everywhere we wanted to go (highly recommend Welcome to Miami mojito bar near Punta Sur), and we genuinely loved him and want to come back just to visit him! Wonderful day!
We had a great time - a truly customized experience. We skipped all the snorkeling and spent the day at Punta Sur, Welcome To Miami, Sabores, and finally Wet Wendy's. Our guide was very nice and informative. He didn't take us to the tourist traps! A great day!
We were given easy instructions on how to find our tour guide once we arrived. We found our meeting point with no problem at all. We also were sent his picture so we knew exactly who would be taking us around the island. Mario provided great service over the phone. Angelo provided exceptional service on the island. Took us everywhere we wanted to go. Went above and beyond to make sure our experience here was amazing. Highly recommend using this service and HIGHLY recommend having Angelo as your tour guide. You will not be disappointed. Amazing top notch service!
Had an absolutely great time with Enrique.. he was thoughtful, kind, eloquent, and completely catered to whatever we wanted to do. We went to a beach club first, then the Mayan Cacao Company (must do), and then some local shopping by the port. Had a superb time!
Angelo is a fantastic guide. He arrived early, provided suggestions, was knowledgeable about the island, and extremely kind to my child. It’s impossible to meet him and don’t think of him as a friend.
Irving was a great host driving us to the East side of Cozumel, sharing with us history of the island, current events & local favorites.
Our Driver was Amazing! Friendly, personable and very informative. San Gervasio great monitoring stop and beach trip
Our driver/guide was EXTREMELY knowledgeable! We learned a ton about the island, history, nature, government and more! He was waiting outside the ferry terminal for us and was super accommodating to what we wanted to do with our time. The jeep was spacious, clean, and had great air conditioning! He had a cooler full of cold waters for us. It was a great experience.
Great tour around Cozumel. San Gervasio ruins are a must see . Don’t do it by yourself, there are great tour guides there. The chocolate factory, Meliponas bee site and east coast of the island. All within 5 hours. Kudos to Enrique. 5 stars tour guide!
Felipe was the best driver/ tour guide Picked us up right on time at designated meeting spot. Felipe was patient and informative. Went to the east/wild side of island stopping at coconuts, Miami mojitos and beach time at Punta Sur. Ended the tour at restaurant Los Bejucos for some outstanding Yucatán food. Felipe got as back at the cruise port with plenty of time to spare. Could not recommend Felipe enough Great and friendly guide for the day!!!
Enrique was very professional and extremely knowledgeable about the area and culture. He did an awesome job! I’d highly recommend his services.
We loved our tour—completely customized for us after talking to Mario. Enrique was our driver and guide. We chose to do a self-guided tour of the ruins, the short bee keeping tour then lunch at Welcome to Miami. Was a perfect day in Cozumel and he dropped us off right at the cruise terminal for a short walk back. Highly recommend this tour and company.
Mario from Cozumel Shuttle and tour was commucative via what’s app after booking 2 keeps for our family of 8. I specifically gave Mario my list in advance of what we wanted to see which included the cenote and jade caverns. Upon arriving to Cozumel, the drivers meet us at the agreed upon place and time. Then the guides proceeded to tell us that we couldn’t go see the cenote or caverns because they are off road and their “jeeps” don’t go off road. I was confused so I what’s app Mario since we talked about it before. Mario told our guides to take us then. Unfortunately our so called “guides” didn’t know what time the cenote and caverns closed so we weren’t able to see them. Very disappointed as we spent time at a mojito bar when we didn’t need to. No apology or refund from the company. I would recommend booking with a company that knows where to take you and when the certain things close
This was an incredible trip! We had locations that we wanted to go and Enrique hit all the spots and more! He is super friendly and knowledgeable. We would definitely book this trip again.
So good nice and knew the place very well. Helped with all our questions. He took us everywhere and knew everyone. So kind and informative.
Enrique was very friendly and welcoming. He shared his knowledge about the island and brought us everywhere we wanted to go. It was a safe and relaxing day!
Our guide was Felipe and he was great. He was on time and friendly. We started at the port and headed to the Zona Arqueológica San Gervasio Parador Turístico San Gervasio Mayan ruins for a short 1 hour self- guided tour and bought a few souvenirs in the shop. Next Felipe drove us to the east side and we followed the coast line and stopped at a nice beach spot that was a perfect place to take few photos and grab a beer. Our final stop was a small beach club that was absolutely perfect with great food, (shrimp tacos), margaritas also a nice sandy beach entrance perfect for swimming, and lounge chairs in the shade under the palm trees. Felipe got us back to the ship on time and we really his stories about the island and its history and would definitely 10/10 recommend this tour. Perfect day!
Enrique was very knowledgeable of Cozumel, Aztec and Mayan history, which he generously shared with us. We also visited all the excellent beach areas on the east side of the island, and he also took us on the Carretera Costera Sur for a great view of the swim spots, as well as resorts, dotting the seashore along this winding road. Excellent guide!
The itinerary is completely flexible. You can stop anywhere, anytime Just trust your driver / guide.
Irving was a wonderful guide. Met us at the right time. Car was comfortable. He let us make informed choices. We had great tour of Mayan site with Pedro who was also great. Took us around the island and we stopped at a great little seaside restaurant for ceviche. Excellent English and a very nice person. Great tour all around!
Erving picked us up right where he said we would, which is always a good start. He was our driver and guide for the day and was happy to take us anywhere we wanted to go on the island. We opted for a ride round the island’s southern circumference on the main road, taking in a tequila/chocolate/tortilla tasting event, faux Mayan temple, crocodile and beach viewing and famous drinks shack. What Erving lacked in English fluency, he more than made up for in enthusiasm and customer service. We thoroughly enjoyed all the stops and his potted history stories as we travelled round his homestead. Exactly what we wanted from our time in Cozumel, thank you Erving.
