We had a great time with Fernando!! He met us right on time and was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He took us to the tequila tasting first and then showed us around Cozumel. We had a wonderful Mexican lunch and then snorkeled for a little while in a place with lots of fish to see. We would all definitely recommend this company!

Fernando was the absolute best! He was so friendly and catered our tour to what we wanted to see and were interested in. He went above and beyond and even let the restaurant owner know it was our daughter’s 10th birthday, and they brought out a little sweet treat for her and our kids! He was so fun to tour the island with and totally made our day. The trip in general was fun, there were a ton of fish at the beach to see while snorkeling and a place to shower off afterwards. The tequila farm was interesting to learn about and there were chickens for the kids to have fun trying to catch!
Our tour guide Fernando was very informative, he went above and beyond the description of the tour. We had an excellent time and strongly recommend you ask for Fernando !
Sergio and Tania were great tour guides. Great value for money. Fantastic people who were kind and helpful taking us around Cozumel!
We had a great, low-stress ride and tour around the island. Sergio was amazing and knows his stuff. It was a blast!!
We had a wonderful excursion with Sergio and Tanya and enjoyed visiting some of the fun and interesting spots around the island. Sergio was an excellent guide and kept us thoroughly entertained and informed throughout the trip. He’s lived on the island all his life, so he’s very knowledgeable and made us feel very welcome, safe and comfortable throughout the trip.
We had a wonderful experience with our driver Amado. The stop at the Tequila tasting spot was amazing. The Tamarind Tequila was our favorite. We also had some really good drinks at a beach side bar and got some good souvenirs, but be prepared to haggle! The beach was fun and the lunch was decent. The snorkeling was cool as the fish get quite close to you. We then had an additional stop at an ice cream shop he recommended, and the ice cream was splendid! He even took us back to our hotel instead of our meet up point, saving us the taxi ride. Over I would highly recommend this trip!
Sergio was the BEST! Fantastic personality and treated our group of 5 women like royalty. He made sure we had waters and soda, took our photos all through the day, led us to some great spots and kept our belongings safe too. We needed to use the restroom and he made a special stop for us to do that so we could be comfortable. The tequila tasting was great and the man who led that had a great personality too. The bar where we had lunch and snorkeling was called Money Bar and they rolled out the red carpet for us. We are celebrating my 50th birthday for this trip and they sang to our table and provided shots galore on the house. We also visited a cenote and Sergio even took a dip with us! So fun!!! Can’t recommend Sergio Pacheko enough. Make sure to request him!
Ricardo covered the island using local knowledge. The turtle nests were fascinating. Recommend the tour and Ricardo.
Fernando was PHENOMENAL! We had the best time. He was very personable and knowledgeable about the island. We have 6 and 8 year old girls and love private tours. They are the best for customizing to the needs of families. All of our entry fees were included as well as lunch. It’s nice to not have to think about all the extra fees. Fernando was incredibly kind and patient with our daughters. 10/10 would recommend and request him again!
Excellent booking, check in and jeep experience. Vehicle was clean. Fernando was a great driver who gave us so much history about the country and people. He was not out of sight of us as we toured but was not a ‘helicopter’. Fernando and Viator are #1 with us. Third time using them in 3 countries‼️
Fernando was the absolute best tour guide. He shared his line and culture with us and it was simply remarkable. If you want to see the island this is the way to go. Thank you so much Fernando!!!!!!!
Fernando was absolutely incredible. He immediately made us feel so comfortable, was so knowledgeable about everything, and made sure we were having a great time. Thanks for a truly incredible time, will be back again!!
Our day trip with Fernando in Cozumel was amazing!! He took us around the the entire island and shared a lot about his culture and country. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to experience Cozumel.
I booked this tour because I have always rented a jeep when in Cozumel. I saw this and it looked good to me. I usually spend around a hundred for the rental and here for not much more I got lunch, sodas, alcoholic and snorkeling gear. No brainer, right. Not really the jeep came with a driver, the picture does not show the driver. It does say tour but the picture shows two jeeps and no driver and says we can choose where we go. My assumtion that we could drive in a group or split away was incorrect. I got a driver who needed a tip for five hours added to the cost. Said he did not get paid by the company just tips. The alcohole was a stop at a tegulia farm where we were offered two hundred dollar bottles of tegulia. The only soda I got was the one I bought for myself, wife and driver. Not sure we ate at the right place, my wife liked it and I found it greasy. Cost me $220 for something I could have supplied myself for less.
Our guide was very nice and showed us around Cozumel. He tried to show us as much as he could within our time allotted. The jeep on the inside was run down. This was no issue to us. The tequila tasting was very informative and interesting. They were Very kind and friendly. They wanted to sell their tequila which we felt was a bit expensive. We went for lunch and everything was delicious and fast service. We didn’t get a chance to snorkel. We would have done this but we asked our guide to show us a great place to get drinks so we ran out of time. This was okay with all of us. My thought are if you want to enjoy yourself don’t have expectations and you will have so much fun like we did.
I give it 3 starts! everything was great we where at a different port, we thought we would be going to Punta Langosta but we disembarked at the International Port. After calling and texting through whatsapp they immediately answered us and told us to meet at a location closer so that was great! We met with our tour guide and it was just the two of us so we got to drive the jeep and that was fun! We went to the beaches, we didn’t love the fact that everytime we stopped somewhere they tried to sell us something. Like drinks or souvenirs, I understand it’s their way to make money but it takes away from the experience. We just said we don’t want to buy anything and moved on. Our favorite part was the money bar, food included and we got to snorkel too. It was enjoyable and relaxing. If you want to tour cozumel and not go to the city and have more of a beachy vibe i recommend!
Such an awesome experience. We had a great driver you shared lots of history with us. He took the time to show us some special spots. One of my favorite parts was the Tequila farm, that was a fun experience. I would definitely recommend to family and friends.
Sergio was a great guide. We felt safe and we felt our belongings were safe when we went snorkeling. The lunch was great and he was very knowledgeable about the island. We learned so much about tequila at the ranch stop. Overall a great day on Cozumel!
We had a wonderful tour from start to finish. The tequila tasting at the ranch was both enjoyable and informative—we’ve officially been converted and now only want to drink 18-year-old distilled agave tequila! The Money Bar Beach Club was amazing, with incredibly friendly staff who made us feel welcome right away. We both enjoyed fantastic beachside massages, and the snorkeling was excellent as well, with plenty of large fish just offshore. The highlight of the tour was our guide, Sergio. He truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. We highly recommend this tour!
Trip was amazing! Jon helped us around the island and showed us the authentic side of Cozumel. Free food was good and we had plenty of stops to drink if that is your thing. Me and my wife really enjoyed the snorkeling and visiting the shops. 10/10 recommend if you want to visit the whole island.
Ripoff from the start. Low down payment and then all cash when you meet so that you can't cancel and refund on your credit card. They tried yto renegotiate with us at the pier to charge the same price but eliminate one of our jeeps. The Senote was a nasty green unsafe water. We cancelled it for safety reasons. The baeach at the lunch spot has riptides and "no swimming" signs. The lunch was low quality.
Fernando was a great guide. We already recommended him to our family and friends. He quickly made us a friend and we can’t wait to plan another trip to Cozumel because of people like him.
It was an amazing day in Cozumel! We got a private tour of the island, learned about (and tasted) some great tequila, stopped at picturesque beaches, had wonderful Mexican food, and snorkeled with the fish. It was a custom experience so we could linger at each location as long or as short as we wanted. Fernando was the best guide…we would highly recommend him to everyone. Can’t wait to come back!
We had such a lovely day with Ricardo on the jeep safari. From the time he picked us up bang on time we were taken to the unspoilt rugged east coast of the island which I advise seeing, it’s beautiful. We loved his passion for turtle conservation and could see he was very proud of what he does for this important cause. We were taken to see the crocodiles but only Maria was out sunning herself. The blowholes were awsome as was the delicious meal at the beach restaurant bar we were taken to. The highlight (especially to Ricardo) were the two crocodiles we were lucky enough to see having a little fight at the cenote right in front of us. Thank you for a lovely day and all the best for your future, your conservation efforts mean so much to the turtles. 🐢
Excellent trip suited to meet your family/group needs. Choose the 7/11 pick up point from the international cruise port. Fernando was a super guide. Chocolate experience was $5 pp extra but worth it. Honey experience fabulous. Drinks that were included were limited as only full fat coke, water or beer. None of us were alcohol drinkers and there was no diet or zero drinks. The lunch was fantastic
It was a good adventure, got to see different sides of the island. Amado was great, very nice and pleasant guy. The tequila tour was very informative, and the tequila from Rancho Alejandra is amazing. The food was alright, was expecting something better to be honest, more authentic, but overall it was a good a experience.
We had the BEST day in Cozumel thanks to Fernando! He took us all around the island and made the entire experience feel personal, fun, and effortless. We stopped at multiple beaches, found some amazing hidden gems, and even got to meet some of his friends along the way—which made it feel super authentic. One of the highlights for me was getting to see a cenote and check that off my bucket list! Fernando seriously went above and beyond—he took photos for us at every single stop, which was such a huge bonus. It felt like we had our own built-in photographer all day. We had delicious tacos right on the beach, and one of our last stops was Money Bar Beach Club where we spent a good amount of time relaxing, having drinks, swimming, and seeing tons of fish in the water. He also came prepared with a cooler stocked with water, beer, and soda, which was perfect in the heat. Overall, it was an incredible day and easily one of the highlights of our trip. If you’re in Cozumel, I HIGHLY recommend booking with Fernando—you won’t regret it!
Wonderful day spent that captured a lot of local highlights! Fernando was very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable guide - 1warm and welcome experience and felt like family by the end of the tour and gracious host! Thank you for the Cozumel hospitality!
If there is a red flag and you can’t snorkel, there doesn’t seem like there’s anything to make up for it. We really wanted to snorkel on Cozumel. But when there was a red flag, we were not offered any alternative and we went back early, but no refund. At the tequila tasting, the men were a very hard sell o the point of being uncomfortable. My friends bought tequila but I didn’t. When my friends were off buying tequila, I was left with the server. He gave me a very uncomfortable unsolicited neck massage trying to get me to buy tequila. It was very uncomfortable to me. Our guide Diego was fun and full of information. We really enjoyed the time with him. I did not tell him about the unsolicited neck massage.
Great experience. No sales pressure from local vendors. Jared our guide had good local knowledge and allowed us to adjust our itinerary. He participated in our day to make it memorable.
Sergio was an excellent guide. He was very knowledgeable and personable. He never rushed us at any stop and even customized the tour to our needs. I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Cozumel. Thank you Sergio!
Had a great time with our guide Katy. Saw some great scenery along the south coast, enjoyed our tequila tasting and had some good snorkeling at the beach.
Ricardo was terrific! He accommodated our interests and walking level. He showed us beautiful spots and explained the history and the ecology. He is a volunteer of sea turtles! We truly enjoyed our day with him. I am so glad we took this tour. Make sure you are clear about which port is your arrival port and which port is the meeting point. There is an assumption with Viator that you are checking your email constantly and that you know the area. Our internet is spotty and the map was not helpful without internet. So read everything and screenshot it when your internet works.
Had a great experience at Cozumel, great places great people, our guide Fernando did an amazing job at keeping us informed of what the next step was and also very informative and helpful if you are planning on going to Cozumel, hire Fernando as the guide, he won’t disappoint you, 100%recommended
We had a great tour of the island with Sergio! He took us to a beach on the east side of the island where there was a protected area we could swim in, then we got to see some cool blow holes that were off the beaten path. After lunch and snorkeling at a beach club he took us to a little cenote with clear clean water where we could swim. It was our kids' favorite part of the tour. We were provided soda, water and beers along the way and Sergio was a great guide. We highly recommend a tour with Jeep Riders!
We had a lovely excursion with Fernando and planned out custom trip with Kevin. It was so well organized, professional and enjoyable. Thank you so much!
We had Ricardo as our host, and had an amazing time in Cozumel. We got to see hidden gems all around the island, that showed us how beautiful this place really is. We would highly recommend, as Ricardo was extremely patient and we got to enjoy our time on the island without any constraints!
We really enjoyed our port afternoon with Ricardo. He met us promptly and had a cooler full of drinks prepared in our Wrangler. We quickly explained we wanted to go off the beaten path and he understood the assignment. He got us out of town and to the east side immediately, explaining the island & its history along the way. He let us spend as much time at each stop as we desired and showed us at least one stop that, it seemed, only the locals knew about. He was very laid back & go with (our) flow, knowledgeable, and kind. So glad we got matched with Ricardo, though I assume all the guides are great, as our communication with the booking agent of the company was just as easy. Highly recommend!!
Awesome excursion provided by Viator. Our private guide was Sergio and he exceptional and his knowledge of the island and all the high points was perfect. He guided us to a wonderful lunch which was included in our excursion price. The fajita tacos and chicken were awesome. He also directed us to some of the best margarita's I have ever had. They were made right in front of us with all fresh fruits. They were so good that myself and the rest of my family had to have a second margarita. Much thanks to Sergio for making a great trip and tour of the island. First class!
Was a very fun day and a great way to see some of the local places. Amada you were a great friend for the day! Plan on spending more money along the way for drinks etc..
We really enjoyed this tour and our guide Ricardo was awesome! It was just two us of us (husband and me) and prior to booking we asked if they would allow us to be in the jeep by ourselves and follow our guide, which they did. Ricardo did a wonderful job of taking us to great stops and sharing about the island - it was a very personalized experience. The jeep had seen better days but that kind of added to the adventure! You do go to a farm with a tequila tasting and the bottles start at $80 (which seems to be the going rate in general). We chose not to buy any so gave a tip instead and it was a little awkward but not too bad. That was the only stop like that - everything else was just about the natural beauty of the island, ending with lunch at the Money Bar. We were there on January 28th and it was windy enough that no boats or swimming was allowed so we weren't able to snorkel but it was still a great day!
We did not get what was promised on this tour. Yusef was not informative and did not take us to all places promised. He told us the money bar was too windy to snorkel and have lunch so he took us to lunch at a cheaper place and not as nice. Then we all told him we wanted to go to the money bar and everybody was snorkeling and the restaurant was much nicer than the place he took us too. . he also insulted my wife and told her she was a complainer. not very professional .
We had such a great time. We were a group of 10 People and Katy was so friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend this tour and Katy’s wonderful friendly personality.
We had Sergio as our tour guide and we couldn’t have asked for any better. Meeting him was easy and the jeep was just a short walk away. Sergio was very knowledgeable about the area and took us to hidden spots. The food provided was amazing. Sergio provided drinks during the whole excursion and was very flexible about the stops we made. The stops listed were amazing and just as describe. Would highly recommend this excursion (with Sergio). 10/10
Jorge was such a great guide! Gave us some beers at the start of the tour, great day tour for our honeymoon. The staff, including dispatch and Jorge, were super friendly and knowledgeable. We were able to set our own pace and see some cool sights, which was just what we wanted. And awesome to learn more about the culture and history on Cozumel! Highly recommend this tour!
Our Jeep excursion with Christian was terrific. We didn’t want to see Tequila being made or Mayan ruins. So Christian took us to see the natural landscape, wild and calm water, white sand beaches, quiet off the beaten path beauty. We stopped at Monkey Bar for lunch. Our Jeep was comfortable and Christian was so much fun. Great day.
Fernando was amazing! He personalized our trip to Cozumel and was very knowledges about the history of Cozumel. I would highly recommend booking with him!
Tour was great. Visited the Jade cenote, the east side, a tequila tasting at a ranch. Ricardo, our tour guide, was attentive and very knowledgeable.
Fernando was so kind and accommodating! We had the best day ever. We saw a cenote and the jeep was new and clean! I cannot recommend this trip enough!
