We had a great experience with Jeepriders Cozumel Tours. Sergio our guide, arrived early and started a fantastic day touring Cozumel. I recommend hiring this company to get a customized private tour of Cozumel. It was very easy to book through TripAdvisor.

We had an amazing time with Katy giving us a tour of the island. She gave us awesome information and asked us what locations we wanted to see beforehand. We ended up going to a market with prices much lower than ones at the pier, skipped seeing the back side of the island and enjoyed more time at The Money Bar. You can tell she enjoys her job and overall it was one of the best tours we have been on.

Fernando was a brilliant guide. We learnt so much from him. Loved the Money Bar snorkelling and lunch too.

Went to a Carnival Cruise and decided to book this excursion. For the length of time you are given on a cruise, it was perfect for the trip and worth the money. Very good experience from the start to finish. Ricardo was our tour guide. He was friendly and informative. He checked and made sure we were all comfortable. Met us at the right place and drop us off before the cruise ship left. Started off with a tequila farm which was informative and got to taste several tequila shots. We visited different places along the way which were scenic. Ricardo explained about the Turtles nest and different educational places that we stopped. Only complained is the restaurant, the food is not plenty. Beach experience is good and just not enough time. If you are doing the cruise, I would pick the earliest time possible. Definitely a worthwhile experience and ask for Ricardo. Very good tour guide.

Great time with Fernando but a hundred character minimum for a comment review just turned me off. I will never respond to one of your requests again

Sergio is lovely! He made us feel welcome from the first minute and gave us an amazing taste of Mexican culture. The tour is great for friends and family looking for a fun time.

We had a great time overall. For the price, it was well worth it. Drove a buggy, following our guide - John. He was awesome, showed us some great places, modified the tour to meet the needs of our family. Highlights: tequila tasting (friendly staff, learned a lot, great tasting tequila), Pueblo de maiz/town of corn (interactive history of the Mayan culture, made tortillas, chocolate), swam in a cenote (pivoted from snorkeling and the weather/water wasn't cooperative). It was very hot the day we were here but our guide made sure we were as comfortable as we could be. 100% would recommend

We had the best time with our guide, Katy! She was incredibly personable, knowledgeable and all around a great person! We made our way around the island and learned about culture, history, traditions and more! Highly recommend this trip even if you've been to Cozumel a few times before like we have. The taco man at the tequila factory was a real treat and the Money Bar swimming was excellent (we aren't into snorkeling as much but thoroughly enjoyed the time and all the fishies there). Our waiter was great and the included lunch was delicious. This was an easy pick up and drop off tour. We loved it and highly recommend booking it! Thank you, Katy! You rock!

This was an awesome excursion! Sergio was our private guide and he was fabulous! We learned so much about the culture, but having fun doing it! He took such good care of us and made sure we all had fun! Made it back to the cruise ship in plenty of time! Feel confident going with this company!

Fantastic tour around the island of Cozumel. Kevin provided first-hand knowledge and facts about the island. There were 4 in our family. Kevin drove lead car and we followed in buggy (need a driver's license). Lunch was good at the Money Bar. We ended day with snorkeling/swimming at the lunch location. Total time was 5 hours.

Katy was amazing she made the trip so much fun and was so accommodating! Would definitely book this excursion again!

My first time in Cozumel and Katy L made it a very memorable trip! She was amazing and showed us a lot of wonderful sites and told us how great Cozumel was and some history. Definitely 10/10 would recommend to anybody! Katy treated us like family and for that my kids and I will be forever grateful and thankful! We will definitely be back Katy!

We had an amazing experience in Cozumel, and a big part of that was thanks to Sergio. From the moment we met him, he made us feel like we were spending the day with a longtime friend. He was friendly, easygoing, and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great time. We were running a little late, and Sergio was incredibly understanding. He reassured us that as long as we weren’t in a rush, he would make sure we received the full tour time we had paid for. That level of customer service immediately put us at ease. Throughout the day, he took great care of us and even watched over our belongings while we were snorkeling so we could relax and enjoy ourselves. He also shared fascinating information about Cozumel’s history, culture, and Mayan beliefs, which made the tour much more meaningful. Sergio’s local knowledge and pride in his island truly shine through. He is the kind of guide who makes a good tour unforgettable and the kind of person who makes a business successful. First trip to Cozumel during a carnival cruise. We had a large group of 11 family and friends ( aged 19 to 75 ) and many thought this was the best excursion we did. Our guide Katy was awesome and really made the trip personalized for us. We got to see San Gervacio ruins, airplanes, tropical fish snorkeling , had an excellent lunch and drove around the whole city in some really cute, open air covered buggies that you entered Dukes of Hazard style. Felt organized and safe from start to finish and had an absolute blast… Would definitely do again!

Fernando was extremely accommodating, friendly, and patient. He took us to many great local spots, even helped take photos as well as checking to make sure we were happy (very attentive to our needs). We had an amazing time and would recommend!

Katy did great. This is my second island tour and it was the best. She timed everything perfectly. She helped us so much with time management. She helped return our snorkel gear. Explained the island. Before the tour Kevin was exceptional at helping us get together. We messaged through WhatsApp. Perfect communication throughout. Loved the tour.

Sergio our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. He made our experience so much fun. The food and shots were amazing at the restaurant The Money Bar that was right on the beach. The Money Bar was very clean and our server Mirna was wonderful. We didn’t go snorkeling because we ran out of time. One thing that was a problem was getting in and out of the buggy because one person in our party has a bad knee and it was too hard the car in not equipped for handicap. But Sergio was very patient and helpful. Overall we all highly recommend this excursion especially with Sergio as your guide.

We had a great time on this Cozumel excursion overall. Our guide, Sergio, was fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience feel very personal. Having a private guide and our own car made it especially enjoyable and comfortable. The driving itself was a lot of fun, and we appreciated the flexibility of a private tour. While we liked many of the places Sergio took us, there were a few too many beach stops for our taste. We would have enjoyed more variety, such as exploring the town, visiting ruins etc.. Some stops felt a bit too commercial, focused on shopping rather than experiencing the island’s culture and scenery. That said, the final beach stop was absolutely beautiful. We had a delicious lunch at a lovely restaurant and really enjoyed swimming in the water, it was a perfect way to end the day. Overall, this was an amazing excursion at a very good price. With a bit more customization in the stops, it could be even better. We’d still highly recommend it, especially thanks to Sergio’s excellent service.

He was pleasant, professional, and genuinely passionate about what he does. From the very beginning, he made us feel welcome and ensured the tour was tailored exactly to our interests. Fernando’s knowledge of the island really stood out—he shared fascinating insights about Cozumel’s history, culture, and hidden gems that we never would have discovered on our own. The buggy ride itself was a lot of fun, and he kept everything running smoothly and safely.

We had a wonderful day in Cozumel. Our guide was Sergio and he was great fun and full of information. It was like having a Born-There limo driver but the limo was open air. We saw lots of sights including the other side of the island, a tutorial on making and tasting tequila, a cenote, a guy making and serving tortillas, a blow hole and a crockogator. The snorkeling at the Money Bar was great and the lunch there was ok. All in all, a fabulous time! Thanks Sergio for the great day and free photos!

Stranded in Cozumel, having a hard time getting a hold of tour operator, even though i confirmed a certain pick up they decided to wait at another one without letting us know. Horrible vehicles/buggies without working seatbelts, no breaklights, no rearview mirror, very unsafe to drive. Not the ones shown on their ad page.

Our reservation told us to meet at the Starbucks. They never informed us that they would be at the dock where we got off the ship. The vehicles were nothing like those shown in their ad. I have seen better vehicles in a salvage yard. No brake lights, directional signals the seat belts did not work on some of the cars. A oil light was on in one driver was told don't worry about it.

The cars were in disrepair and not road worthy. The tour guide was 1 1/2 hours late and no one answered their phone. The lunch was mediocre. The overall experience was less than satisfying.

Sergio is the best guide! Very personable and knowledgeable - also FUN! Definitely book this experience. It is customizable to the things you want to see and the times you are at specific areas can be adjusted longer/shorter to fit your likes. The snorkeling was great - just off the dock at the Money Bar - LOTS of fish - will eat out of your hand.

Fernando was an amazing tour guide! He made every stop along the way fun, engaging, and memorable. The tequila tasting was a highlight—informative and delicious—and the food was delicious! Highly recommend!

Our guide, Jorge, was absolutely wonderful. We booked this excursion because we wanted to do our own thing and go to the back of the island for some food at El Mirador and then to see the lighthouse. Jorge shared a lot of information and you could really tell how much he loves his home. We genuinely felt like we made a wonderful friend. The one thing that was a disappointment and is absolutely no reflection on Jorge, is the Beach Club where they serve the included meal. My husband and I both ordered the chicken fajitas (this is excursion allows for a very limited menu. You can order different food but you then pay for it) which were a huge disappointment. They were very bland and not at all an authentic experience of island culture. Additionally, we wanted soda and they charged us $5 per can of soda. My opinion, don’t wasted your time on the beach club food and ask the guide to take you someplace that actually serves authentic local food.

Excellent tour recommend this trip

Had a great day with Fernando who spoke good English and kept us entertained. However, there were 4 in our party and the buggy wasn't big enough for us 4 and Fernando so one of our party had to drive and follow Fernando in his car. This arrangement was not made clear upon booking and also meant we didn't have a guided description of the areas we drove past. The buggy was an old vehicle (looked like an army vehicle) and was very noisy and was nothing like the picture online. Fernando didn't take us on the down town walk or to the Monumento a la Hispanidad. I'd said at the start about the "standard" itinerary but he didn't mention those 2 points. In spite of this we loved seeing the undeveloped East coast with the beautiful beaches and learning about the turtles.

We enjoyed our buggy tour very much. Catalina tailored our stops to our preferences and she was full of knowledge about Cozumel. Nice lunch spot at the east coast beach

Our tour guide was friendly and very happy to show us her island. The lunch and snorkeling turned out to be the highlight of the trip.

Katty was an amazing guide in Cozumel. She was very kind, gentle, and made the whole experience enjoyable and comfortable. We truly appreciated her warm attitude and the care she showed throughout the tour!

Sergio was the best tour guide ever! He gave us such a complete tour of the island, it was utterly incredible. He made us feel like family and we couldn't have asked for anything more. We especially liked the snorkeling experience, the blowhole, and the food! Truly, this is the most complete experience you can get for a day in Cozumel!!

Very good tour of the island of Cozumel. Had a slight issue about where to meet off of the ship but Kevin met us and took us to the location. Unfortunately, one of us was unable to easily get in and out of the buggy (a foot stool would have been good). But solution was made to ride with the guide Ricardo in his car. Many opportunities to stop and take pictures

It was a nice customizable tour. Our guide did what we asked for and made suggestions for us. The buggy was a little old but it did get us to where we were going.
