Chankanaab Park Open Bar With Beach Access, Lunch & Snorkel

Great drinks and delicious food. Ask for kai kai who will be Willing to wait your table with a smile on his face. It was a nice experiencia!

This was an amazing experience. I highly recommend MJ’s Aquatic Diving scuba diving and snorkeling. The staff are very nice, especially Daniel, the dive master, and Jose, the wonderful photographer who took photos for us. Prices are not bad, only 60-80$ a person for scuba diving + snorkeling depending on the day you book (we booked for Tuesday). Crowd size is minimal. Water is crystal clear, landmarks are visible, and plenty of fish to see. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing vacation, if you are stopping by either by the cruise (only 10 minutes away from The port), or if you are just visiting in the area.

This is a great excursion for family and friends. Got off the cruise and got a taxi to this beach park. Looked for MJ staff and staff Is friendly. Staff showed us around and we went straight to snorkel in relatively easy manner. Place offer all snorkel gears and life vest. Place is clean and safe and snorkeling was great. You will see pretty corals and fishes small and large. Overall great experience. Also comes with food and 2 drinks from beach side restaurant. Good value and great excision experience.

This is a wonderful marina wildlife park. The snorkeling is fantastic for people with different levels of skills, including children. You are able to just walk out and begin seeing a large assortment of tropical fish and other wildlife. There was 7 of us and we all had a great time. With unlimited drinks, lunch and snorkeling gear. We had great service and highly recommend. If you’re looking for a five star resort, this is not your place. This is not a party place. This is a place for anyone looking to interact with tropical fish with great snorkeling and a wonderful beach.

Pinto took great care of us..food and drinks were flowing...snorkeling was the best! Alvaro took great care us to make we the absolute best snorkeling adventure. We saw Jesus statue! Great snorkeling park we been too and we scuba!! Absolutely book your day here. Great food drinks and snorkeling!

Park has gone downhill. Not at all like my last visit there 4 years ago. Hardly anyone there. Now a guide goes around with you trying to upsell. Not happy we were limited to time with snorkel gear. But our snorkel guide Jonathan was very nice. Really no beach area. But lots of chairs. Food was okay. Waiter Francisco couldn’t do enough for us. “Open Bar” did not offer water bottles or any bottled alcohol other than Mexican beer.

Jonathan our snorkel guide was wonderful! Francisco our waiter was fantastic! Just didn’t realize the snorkeling was timed and couldnt take the snorkeling gear with us to snorkel from different areas in the park. I wish bottled drinks were included in the open bar.

This was a great place to visit during a cruise stop in Cozumel, Mexico! Quick ride from ship! Food and drinks were delicious! Great service from all staff!

You must take a taxi to the park $15. Open bar is 2 drinks and not everything on the bar menu is included. It’s a rum punch, sex on the beach, tequila sunrise or a well shot on ice. Lunch is also limited to 4 options….. quesadilla, chicken fajitas, nachos, and one other.

This ticket did not include everything it said it was supposed to. They did not want to let us into the park. I suggest walking up to the park and getting a ticket at the gate.

Beautiful setting. All inclusive has major limitations. Service was wonderful but all in all I dont feel it was worth the money.

Had such a great experience, did the snorkeling and drink package and it was perfect. Our snorkeling guide Lionel was patient with us, showing us all the fishes and the underwater statues. We had an amazing food experience at the Happy Crab, Franco the host made our experience worthwhile. He had the best hospitality and made sure we were accommodated just right. If you're in cozumel and are looking for a great snorkeling experience definitely book here. Ask for Franco from the Happy Crab for your dining experience. Excellent time and so much better than a cruise excursion. We did the Sea Lion show, scuba diving and had lunch. Leonel took us out scuba diving and was so helpful and kind. We cant wait to come back.

It’s a sweet place, not fancy but great service and a beautiful reef. We recommend the all in package, a la carte is overpriced. The Sea Lion show was really cute, great for kids.

Not worth the money for the food and bar package. The options of food were minimal. The food was not that great. It wasn’t a full bar you were limited there too. Chankanaab has a beautiful reef that is worth exploring. I just wouldn’t waste my money on this package.

Mexican flavors are our weakness so...Food amazing, drinks were perfect and our bartender Gato -that is cat in spanish, was amazing. Third time in cozumel and it doesnt get old. We choose our places not based on reviews but on the love and hard work people put on it, on their jobs to make our experience something else. Thank you to Felix at the happy crab bar and we truly enjoyed our dessert and tequila shots. You made the day for the whole tribe!

Our family visited Chankanaab last week during the sports competition and it was one of the few beaches open at the time. We had a great time, waiters were fun and friendly and the food was very tasty. Im not really into drinking but i did try some drinks with no alcohol and they were yummy! My parents on the other hand did enjoy their cocktails and drinks. Beach area was great and snorkeling was superb. We truly enjoyed our stay here.

This place has lots to offer but i came here to enjoy the beach, the sand and some ice cold drinks. The staff was friendly and they served me all the from the restaurant to my comfortable lounger...even my huge cheeseburger and guacamoli was next to my beach chair. Try the pina coladas, they were my favorite along with the strawberry daiquiry...you cant go wrong with that. Bring towels and cash is all you will need.

We had a great time in this park, our package included open bar and cocktails so it was definitely worth it and fun haha! We had great food, great service at the restaurant, the staff was very friendly and they went out of their way to make sure we were well taken care of! We really felt amazing! The snorkeling was fantastic, water perfect ! The tour guide was really amazing too, he showed us the underwater statues , they were really cool! It was just a perfect day to relax, not even a cloud, the weather was perfect and so was our experience. We can't wait to come back!

It was fun for the whole fam! We had the opportunity to snorkel , it was really beautiful. Lunch was delicious , the premium bar top notch . Our kids were able to see the sea lion show, it was fantastic, they loved it! Overall , it's a nice experience, this was our second time here and we really enjoyed , we will be back again soon for sure.

Do you like pinas coladas? We totally do! Awesome staff and great drinks you couldn’t ask for anything better. The restaurant staff was really friendly and eager to serve you at anytime. We loved our pinas coladas and the fish tacos were to die for! Snorkeling was good also it was a great way to warm up for our diving trip. Highly recommend!

We purchased this package after our diving tour and food was amazing and drinks were flowing and tasty. Try the pina colada and the Margaritas they are the best and dont forget to order your tempura fish tacos...yummi!

The snorkeling was beautiful and we saw many types of fish. The staff made our experience easy and fun. Food was excellent.

This was a HORRIBLE!!!experience. We got to the park and we had to wait 10 minutes for them to verify our tickets. We got in and I was told that I did not pay for the dolphin excursion which wasn’t true. I couldn’t check my tickets because I did not have WiFi connection so I didn’t know what was included in my package. I blame this on Trip Advisor because I purchased swim with the dolphins and we did not get the chance to experience that. My daughter was looking forward to do that excursion. I paid $329 and I did not get the chance to experience what the park offered. The food was horrible and cold and the drinks were flat. I don’t know to blame Trip Advisor or Chankanaab park because I got scammed out of my money. On top of that, one of the park attendants track me down and tried to get more money out of me saying that I needed to pay additional fees to enter the park. This is after we been in the for 3-4 hours. It was the worst experience and I paid so much to have a bad experience. Never again would I use Trip Advisor. It was my first and last time use you to plan my trip.

My husband and I enjoyed ourselves. 10 out of 10 experience. We will be back for another visit the hospitality was Amazing.

Relaxing by the water and walking through the garden. Max and Brandon gave great customer service ! We enjoyed the Sea Lion show also.

The ticket I received didn’t really help. I had a panic attack because I was not told who to meet, where to meet…specifics would’ve helped. Thank God for Ramero! I give him and his boss 5 stars for taking care of my son and I. I’m from TX, not used to tourist attractions.

Water was fantastic. Our server Louise was fantastic. Will definitely return again to try even more of the things this place has to offer.

We had such a great day here. We were a group of 13 that had various ages of kids. We signed up for the dolphin experience, wear water shoes, and other activities. They didn't make it very easy at all to reserve the tickets before at ALL. Even our guide guy tried over and over and couldn't get it done, he was even frustrated. The food was decent, there were shops on the beach, hammocks, and a great pool to lounge at etc. Because we were ages 1-70 it worked for us for everyone to be able to find something to make them happy.

The park was beautiful! I chose the all day pass, but there are other options and I’m glad I did because I stayed for multiple hours and had a great time. Max along with Gladis and Perla did an amazing job!!! I highly recommend you spend some time here while in Cozumel. Sea lions and dolphins as well, let’s go!!!!

We definitely did not enjoy our time here. Food wasn’t great at all and limited us on what we could have.

I was a little upset when we arrived and we showed them our tickets they told us that the pool was not included and that was a different company. We had booked this trip because we had babies that needed the pool area. We did have a great time and our waiter was amazing but we did not get to go to the pool area.

The staff was great and very accommodating. The location has a little of everything. Was only like 5 minutes drive from the cruise port.

We were on a bachelorette party and went here for an excursion. It was a little run down but the water was beautiful and the people were amazing! Drinks were good also. Jose made sure we were well taken care of!!! We took some cheap little rafts from Walmart with us and a portable air pump (fit in the palm of my hand) and just floated around the water. The air pump died after the 5th raft but the bar tender was so helpful in letting me use his charger. The section where you walk down the steps to the water is really deep so having the rafts made it easy to relax. The only reason for the 4 rating was because the food at the buffet was barely edible! They did have a place to order food. That was expensive but good. We would go here again!

The entry staff were very nice and helpful. We were guided to the beach area and informed what was included and what cost extra (which was what we expected and planned for). The free/included food and drinks are by the pool and main Dolphin restaurant. There would have been no relaxation by the pool area due to the activity and commotion (as one would expect). In order to sit near the beach area, we were consistently approached to purchase food, drinks, massages, bracelets, and hair braiding. It was very difficult to try to relax there because of this. In order to enter the water, you had to walk down some metal steps, and the bottom was rock or basically dead coral...so shoes were a must have. Most people stayed in a little area right be the stairs because it drops off considerably after a short distance. We really couldn't find any sort of beach area where the bottom gradually sloped down. There was a kids area that was like that, but the water was only waist high, so not that great for adults.

Server (Luis) was great. Park was nice. But not much of a beach/swim area. Drinks were weak. Lunch buffet that was included was not good at all!!!

The beach front and the food were good and relaxing. The bees were a big annoyance not necessarily their fault.

Great place to visit! There’s was so much to do we only saw half of the things offered. The food was great, the drinks were good and tequila tasting was really good (the tequila was expensive though) I would definitely recommend checking this place out we would absolutely go again. My only negatives were there were sooo many bees at the lunch area I got stung pretty bad (but I’m not sure they can do much about that with all the sweet drinks) and the waiter forgot about our drinks a few times (but they were very busy and he was running around all over)

The beach area is beautiful but beware! Even though we did not go into the area that cost extra they tried to collect it from us before we left. We had to keep showing the guy what we already paid for and had to explain multiple times that we did not go to the area that cost extra. Make sure you keep your receipts showing what you already paid for. If we had not be bugged and bugged for more money we would have given 5 stars

We had a great experience and the lunch and open bar were great. The area near the restaurant has a snorkeling and swim area but on down you will find a shallow area and beach. Also enjoyed the sea Lion show.

Very disappointed. Much more expensive than buying there. Viator is no longer the n business I have nothing

The staff was amazing,it was very peaceful. We saw so many fish while Snorkeling. The food was the best!

The service was great, and the staff were very accommodating. The food and drinks were excellent. The beach was very relaxing and quiet, compared to other beaches. I highly recommend this excursion. It is well worth the money. We will defiantly return. Sam & Cora
